I went for a scenario where it's the first time they are with you while having a panic/anxiety attack, since I'd assume that with time they would adjust their reaction to match your individual needs as best as possible. I hope you'll like it!

Jinho

Jinho tries to find out as quickly as possible what you need and how to get it. If you're responsive he'll straight up ask how to help you in the situation. If you aren't able to talk to him, he tries to figure it out in different ways, but he'll still talk to you. Might try to get you back by telling you basic information, like the date and time, the place you're at and most importantly the fact that he's there with you.

Hui/Hoetaek

He's probably dying to comfort you with physical touch, like giving you a tight hug, holding your hand or rubbing your back. If he knows you're okay with it in situations like this he does just that, maybe softly talk to you too. He might just tear up a little because it pains him so much to see you like this.

Hongseok

Hongseok would be really good at dealing with this kind of situation. He stays calm and talks you through breathing exercises or other coping mechanism he knows can help with panic attacks. He will give you a big bear hug after you calmed down a little (and if you're okay with that).

Shinwon

I know Shinwon is a scaredy cat and all that but I'm convinced he would handle this pretty well. He doesn't get anxious or panics about this. Instead he crouches down in front of you and starts shifting your attention towards something else. Shinwon probably tells you something incredibly trivial, like details about his last trip to your local grocery store. But because it's so trivial, it's also easy for you to follow his words and calm down.

Yeo One/Changgu

Changgu tries to make you focus on soothing sounds. If there are any sounds or noises he knows you like or find calming, he makes/plays them for you while quietly narrating what he's doing. He looks at you with the sweetest smile once you calmed down a little because and he's so proud of you for making it through that.

Yanan

I think he's a little panicky himself. Yanan wants to help so much but he's also scared to do something wrong. Is he supposed to talk to you? Call someone? Can he touch you? He doesn't know so he's a little hesitant. Eventually he settles on sitting next to you and timidly talking to you, maybe rubbing your back or upper arm if you seem okay with that. A little later, maybe a day after, he'll ask you to tell him what you need from him in situations like these so he can do a better job next time.

Yuto

He's the quiet type, not really saying much, but making sure you know he's there for you. If you allow it he hugs you or holds your hand. If you have the need to talk or cry, he listens calmly, making small hums and noises from time to time to show that he's paying attention and to reassure you that he's there for you.

Kino/Hyunggu

Hyunggu is very sweet and gentle, asking you to focus on his voice and praising you for doing so well when you nod or reply. He paints a picture with his words for you, making you imagine a meadow or the ocean or a place he knows you love. He praises you even more once you've calmed down a little.

Wooseok

Another one who feels a little flustered and helpless about it. Wooseok wants to hug you and talk to you but it probably ends up being a little clumsy. He might just give it a quick google search because he so desperately wants to do the right thing to help you out. Later on when you've calmed down again, he'll communicate how helpless he felt. He doesn't want you to feel guilty about it and makes sure you know that. But he does ask you for pointers on what to do should it happen again.

gonna word vomit my speculations post pado concert ( keep in mind ive only watched day 2 but kept eyeing translations for day 1)

1. pentagon's situation with cube :

will steal this observation from a friend but with cube's TERRIBLE financial situation:

• only made 6B won in profits this 1H

• saw a 66% drop in idol / entertainment gigs and activities

• two latest releases ( out of 4 total this year ....) handled by another label ( warner jp and 88rising)

so its safe to assume cube has no funds and are pulling the plug on every group that isnt idle . im assuming no one will make a cb until next year which is an issue since ptg's anniversary is coming up and their hiatus is getting ridiculous. they're aware of it and kept thanking fans for staying with them and in an apologetic sense asked them to wait for them (?)

PADO as an album feels rushed in a sense they took random old songs and mashed them in album to give shinwon a release and opportunity to meet fans before enlisting . im assuming they had to fight to get this release green lit it would explain the non existent album distribution and warner handling everything ( chaotically) and the pado special clip dropping on Warner's channel unlike shh

basically cube has no money and will for a while until either kakao buys them or go bankrupt refused to give them a cb this year and would explain ptg taking their concert waaaay heart to heart

alright, I gotta know. please explain to me all the ways cube has tried to ruin pentagon. I don't want to live ignorantly, thinking they're just another incompetent company (bc honestly find me a GOOD entertainment agency that treats all their artists fairly, protects them, promotes them regularly, loves them and feeds them 3 square meals a day. doesn't exist.)

you're very right, there's no company like that, and it's a shame even to this day.

and, well, let's see. i'm a bit tired so i'm going with things off the top of my head. i feel like the company has just... very blatantly threatened them different times behind the scenes. especially judging by some words the members have shared. it's always felt like they kind of made pentagon feel like THEY were lacking. like THEY needed to do something to prove themselves. it's sad because the boys have been trying so hard all these years but they can only do so much with such a shitty promotion. first instance i can think of is when the demo eps were released. it all felt rushed (they were released too close to each other) and it was such a pity because demo_01 was the ep that gave them their self-produced title. i don't even know what the company was trying to do, people barely had the time to digest those songs that we got another ep. so like

1) their almost non-existent or badly handed promotion. i swear they just don't seem to know how to cherish and properly promote such a gem group like pentagon. it's so bad.

2) i feel like, over time, the opportunities to show what they're capable of that they were given were just not the right ones. sure, we got some nice content but cube literally do nothing to highlight their entire vocal line. everything that the public could perceive was because of their stage presence. every new fan that got into them, it was thanks to the group. the success and the appreciation of songs, it was thanks to their authenticity while making music. i genuinely believe the group owns maybe 20% (and i'm being kind here) of their success to that agency. being so vocally based they don't have much singing content people can go through, except for magazineho and those hardly updated cover playlists. they could give changgu the space to do covers but do they? no. i think some time in the past he implied that he wanted to upload more songs but that he wasn't allowed to. to be honest i think the company also has favoritisms towards certain members, but it may be just me. and i don't like how they may be pitted against one another (see: pentagon maker) when they love each other so much.

3) shine. before it got released ptg were most likely told that the song had to do well, otherwise they would've been disbanded. hui said shine was a blessing, the reason why pentagon could survive. it got progressively worse with idle debuting (and it's funny how their fans say that ptg are cube's favorites *giggles in i want to be that delusional*)

4) when the summer 2018 mess happened, their fancafe was a mess. kpop fans were spamming the general board with anything and everything. the company knew it and still kept it open for a good 3 to 4+ months. i remember this because they suddenly changed the rules, locked this and that, and i got demoted as well. many of us got demoted for doing nothing. their disorganization never fails to amaze me. so, anyways, there is no way cube didn't know about the rumors that were being made up about them. hell, they even used hui as the scapegoat. shinwon, jinho and hongseok were heavily targeted and the company just did nothing. they were bullied into not leaving the dorms. no lawsuit, no notice, no protection. had a shit ton of schedules to attend and to deal with.

5) all the hiatuses they put yanan through. and for what? yanan could understandbly leave for health reasons but at times it's felt like they were just punishing the guy for doing so. one time it was a miscommunication between the labels, but keeping him away for months to years? like are we serious? there are people who have never seen him with pentagon, and people who got to see him with them after more than a year. the formation changes are so bad too. people are never gonna memorize who's who if the company decides to 'oh yea you go to japan for three months bye' or 'you're staying in china for a year and no one will get an official notice cause we don't care' approximately every two months.

6) rtk. what the hell was that. i hate when ptg have anything to do with mnet to begin with. they were put on this show that just sucked the life out of them, where mnet just used them for clickbait and very obviously rigged it although it was clear they should've won. jinho had to enlist in a hurry, hui was only months away from enlisting and spent sleepless nights arranging songs for like three different projects. they were completely out of it. shinwon even said that at some point hyunggu was so exhausted and mentally worn out that it was impossible for them to talk to him. they even said they were in and out of the hospital because of body pains. still, the company kept them going until the end, even through pain and tears.

7) shall i add bad budgeting. like seriously i'd like to speak to a nevie and understand why they think ptg gets their group's money. have they seen some of ptg's packaging and some of the props for their photoshoots or mvs? my thumbs up album is literally one step away from falling apart because the material is just not good.

please know i don't like talking of such things as i don't want to sound like i am victimizing them. ptg are fun, charismatic, bright, cheerful, full-of-love people. they never ever complain and that's what stings. i'm just so done with the bad things they've had to endure. the boys have always acted like it's sunshine and rainbows and we've all have tried hard to see the good things in everything. we do even nowadays, but there's still a dark side to it.

i'm sure there must have been other instances of ptg being told that they could be disbanded if said thing doesn't sell well (which btw is ridiculous because pentagon have been outselling themselves every comeback). shall i remember anything i'll say it later on, i think i talked a lot for now, i'm so sorry. all i can do is hope that 2023 is REALLY their breakthrough year because i cannot see them in pain anymore. it just doesn't feel fair and i want them to be happy.

for hui I was thinking either fire or water--fire because of the warmth and light it can be connotated with; lighting up a candle or the fireplace, warming up a cup of tea, literally bringing light into the darkness. water because I can picture him focusing on healing since he is someone who is very keen on helping and supporting others.

Jinho

i said fire for him too and then my friend said she could see him focusing on lightning and i felt that was so fitting! since it is a bending technique that required a lot of precision and skill it just felt like such a good match. he'd take bending very seriously and work really hard to hone his skills. wouldn't really use his bending skills much for goofing around or mundane things.

Hongseok

my bestie said earth and i also thought of earth too but somehow he is just very water bender shaped to me--maybe because i associate him with the color blue

Shinwon

fire--once again it may be due to color schemes (shinwon is v much orange to me) but i can also just see it well--him playing around with the flames or using bending for his daily life, idk heating up ramen or warming up his cold feet

Changgu

my friend said earth and i can see that very much! my take was sand bending which is like hybrid earth bending so p much the same direction. I just thought it was fitting since it's a little bit more light footed

Yanan

maybe all the memes of him burning down cube have gotten to me bc i could rlly rlly see fire. air would be fitting too though imo bestie said water bending and perhaps even stuff like blood bending too fhdshfkjdhs

Yuto

i had initially planned to stick to the main 4 elements but yuto just immediately screamed metal bending to me, i couldn't settle for anything else my bestie said water which would have also been my first choice among the classic 4 elements

Hyunggu

my first instinct was fire or air and then my friend said how he'd probably constantly play around with those air balls the way aang did and idk just a lot of bouncing around and puffing himself up and. that's just so hyunggu. he's definitely an air bender.

Wooseok

once again here with hybrid bending bc my take is mud bending fhsdhfkjs though bestie said water/ice and i could see that too

also because we talked abt this topic sm we obvsly also discussed who'd have avatar potential and pls don't call me biased but i'm so stuck on avatar shinwon now. like? he just accidentally stumbles into it all but ppl seem to rely on him so ofc he doesn't back out or run away and goes through with it bc he just is like that and then perhaps the other members are there to teach him bending and support him and he'd probably grow really attached to them. at first he went along with being the avatar because he wanted to help/didn't want to disappoint anyone but as time passes he just wants to be with them and make them proud by getting better but also support and help them too (imagine him wanting to learn healing from hui but he's having a hard time with it so hui would ask why he wants to learn it in the first place and sw would be like "so someone can heal you too when you're hurt") ...yeah maybe i am too emotional about shinwon and why he wanted to be in ptg haha

You know what?? Yeah, perhaps it's end-contract year for the pentagon boys, but if they end the contract I wish for them to leave cube (maybe 2 or 3 will stay in that shit company, including hui bcz boys planet) but if they leave they can continue Pentagon as their own... Can they? I mean iKon just did it, and sure pentagon will have more freedom or am I understanding something wrong? Will cube still be able to control pentagon stuff if they're no longer under their management???

I mean it's not like pentagon members want to leave the group, it's just that cube doesn't know how to do their job and I'm sure they all hate cube equally, it's not like Shinwon haven't said anything about it, it's public knowledge that cube hasn't managed them well and we all know it. I know that Kino and Shinwon want out of that company, Changgu the nice angel that he is , always quiet and calm I'm sure sososo sure that he will leave that trash company that wouldn't let him shine as he should, same as Yuto the first japanese rapper and well beloved by his fellow citizens, like the sweetest and kindest soul in the whole world and cube just has him there, and Jinho one of the most respected vocals on the kpop world and cube doesn't do anything to promote him, and Hongseok how I just wish he's eating and sleeping well and he shouldn't worry about any of this, and Wooseok maybe would still be in the company but I know him and the mayonnaise line just gossip bad stuff about cube and he hates them as much as the rest of them, and I know I just know that Yanan hates cube more than anyone in that freaking company but they love each other and that's what matters and if the contract ends and by that time pentagon hasn't have a comeback I wish they leave and stay as a group and promote music on their own

But even then I feel like Yanan wouldn't come back to sk :/
