Shadow is forced to put the cone onto Werehog Sonic.

The look of betrayal in Sonic's eyes is purely heartbreaking for him.

You'd swear that Sonic just saw his own mother die right in front of him or something with how dejected he was. But no, he just has to wear a cone because he's got fleas.

When Shads is gonna check on him, Sonic's just in the corner of the living room, turned his back to Shadow and whining or silently judging him form a distance. Also, he's not able to hug Shadow because of the fleas, making it even worse for him. Last point that takes the cherry in top is, BATH TIME. The shampoo needed to for killing the bugs isn't the greatest and the comb to get them out is Sonic's newly added ✨️ nightmare ✨️

He knows that it isn't Shadow's fault for making him go through this, so he's not mad at him. Only being super frustrated and sad about the bugs bugging him.

While we were at the vet, the doctor said that he'd "come home and crash", though with the way he was tearing around until he settled down, it was more like "come home and crash through the walls." We managed to give him his meds and the ointment we're supposed to apply to the hole in his butt (which the vet said was a ruptured anal sac, likely caused by it getting blocked,) and thankfully he's settled down now.
