#i continue to flex my tailor’s era #sewing rulers #french curve ruler #neckhole ruler #a classmate of mine have these really fancy rulers that works perfectly for bigger body proportions #compared to the ones we were able to find in the beginning of classes #those were licherally made out of cardboard (i already accidentally bent my hip curve in half *cry*#instead of buying some online..we traced the fancy ruler on thick sintraboard and cut/sanded those out #our instructor requested me to paint her rulers #specifally with some anime on it 😂😂😂#im just gonna print these gorlies on a vinyl sticker and stick em on the rulers hahahah #im struggling what to do with the thinner curved rulers #anyways this is my lil parting/graduation gift to her

my partner just got back from a work trip and he bought a new laptop for me i am going to cry

#core talks #my old chromebook i used throughout COLLEGE #and i've been graduated for a while #that shit was on its last leg #it took sometimes 5 minutes to open certain documents because they were too big and my poor little chromebook...#i'm about to write like a madwoman now #assuming my tired from work brain can handle it #i literally have never had a laptop this nice in my entire LIFE #this man sat and watched me open it with a grin and then was like “you're hot” when i was getting really into it #and then left to go play on his pc lmao #it's like he gifted a cat a toy to distract it and can now play his game in peace lol

We constantly hear about burnt out gifted kids, and their experiences are completely valid, but what about the people that DIDN’T burn out? The people who were considered exceptionally smart at a young age and continued to be considered exceptionally smart with the constant fear and anxiety that with every new challenge they take on, their abilities and luck are going to run out and they might disappoint everyone?

#I graduated with my first college degree when I was 18 #the youngest in my class #and now I’m starting my second college degree and I’m worried I won’t be able to handle it and I’ll fail #and everyone will be disappointed #I have to continue to be ‘’exceptional’’ (whatever that means) or I’ll automatically waste my potential and fail #gifted kid #actually autistic #neurodivergent
