So everybody’s making loyal klokateers or ocs but i’d like to make some kind of villain chara(his name is Pyry, i posted him before but i deleted and now i truly regret it). At first he became a gear having a dream of turning the word into his own heaven with dethklok, but soon he started feeling doubful of them cause all he had to do is inventing some kind of dildo shits like glow-in-the-dark strapon codepiece(and toki asked for this) and finally one night he decided to leave the mordhaus.

He went straight to the tribunal, removing the gear mark on his neck and started working for them as their scientist and inventor. He made sort of invisible jets or weapons or something, but still not knowing of helping them is taking continuous steps to defeat the AOTD

Annd somehow the metalocalypse has begun, he instantly regretted his decision cause the view in front of him was not an utopia he has ever dreamed of.

Here they are! It maybe an unfinished wip, but I still wanted to show them off. :> Bios under the cut.

Razor and Raven Urrutia (Age 15, she/her [Raven] he/him and They/them [Razor], 🇵🇭/🇺🇸): Twins of the infamous William Murderface, Razor and Raven were a result of In Vitro Fertilization using some of Murderface’s donated sperm. They never knew about their real father until Raven started getting into metal. Like her father, Raven is brash and obnoxious. Being the oldest twin, she’s a lot more impulsive and has gotten into a fair amount of fist fights at school. She got into metalcore and alternative music then into death metal proper soon after. Though people see her as more of a poser than a true metalhead. She doesn’t play an instrument. Razor on the other hand is much more soft spoken, he barely peeps a word if anything. The few traits he retains from his father is slight body dysmorphia (more specifically the shape of his eyes), a love of world history, and an interest in music production. Razor’s personal favorite instrument to play is guitar, they own a dark blue B.C. Rich Warlock electric guitar. Unlike his sister, their taste in music leans more towards screamo and punk music. They have yet to meet their birth father, but would one day want to meet him. (Raven’s favorite Dethklok song is “Go forth and Die” and Razor’s fave is “DEAD FACE”)

Hanabi Nakahara (Age 22, she/her, 🇯🇵): The bastard daughter of Nathan Explosion, she was the result of a night of passion with a hostess during a frienderbender trip to Japan. Throughout her schooling years; her peers had made fun of her height, low sounding voice, and her bastard half american origins. Though to the very few friends she has had, she’s seen as a very strong older sister type. Loyal to her core, Hanabi has gotten into very loud screaming matches and surprisingly has never thrown a single punch. Her mother had told her the truth of who her birth father was when she left for America for a college semester abroad. She has begun studying music theory and has a natural gift for writing lyrics. She is influenced by Dethklok (her favorite song is “The Galaxy”) but also visual kei bands. Hanabi plays synth piano and is an aspiring vocalist, she also has a small channel where she covers songs as an Utaite. Hanabi did get the chance to meet Nathan the day before she had to leave back to Japan. They have a nice relationship with each other, Nathan is very supportive and has even gone as far as to following her online channel. He still doesn’t know half the words she’s singing, he’s trying to learn more japanese.

Klemins Gudsdótter (Age 19, They/them and he/him 🇮🇸) : During their schooling years, Klemins was always seen as “the prettiest person in the history of forever”. It’s no surprise because Klemins is a Skwigelf kid, inheriting his father’s good looks. Even with strawberry blonde hair, the resemblance is very uncanny. Learning that they’re the result of their mother making some poor choices in her youth with the Dethklok guitarist, Klemins has come to resent their birth father. They learned to play guitar purely out of spite, they want to one day meet their father and kick his ass in a guitar battle. They own a crimson blood red Ibanez Iceman electric guitar. Outside of their spite, Klemins is a surprisingly sociable and outgoing individual, always up to go to parties or just hanging out. 9 times out of 10 they’re usually tricked into dates because of how handsome they look. So they have a hard time keeping and making real friends. Their favorite genres of music include Folk metal and general Folk Music. In secret they actually like Dethklok but they won’t fully admit it out loud. (Their favorite Dethklok song is “The Hammer”)

Titan Maximum #1: "Pilot" | September 27, 2009 - 11:30PM | S01E01

Ah, thank goodness I’m done with Robot Chicken. Now I can finally move onto greener pastures to… oh, eat shit.

TItan Maximum was created by one or some of the Robot Chicken people and animated by Shadow Machine, who animated Robot Chicken and Moral Orel and oh! So much more.  It’s fairly Robot Chicken-eseque in it’s look and humor. It’s a fairly straight-forward sitcom, parodying Voltron and shows like it. It’s more grounded than Robot Chicken; there’s no fourth-wall breaking gags and the violence isn’t as gratuitous. There’s an attempt at making the action have legitimate stakes, like you’re supposed to care about the stuff happening and root for the good guys. 

The main problem is the characters and the writing. Most of the show’s dialogue involves characters just being mean to each other. Everyone is snippy at each other, and the show mainly consists of characters being petty and combative. You almost get the sense that this is actually a show about a dystopian future where being friends is illegal.

I get that there’s a time-honored tradition of comedies that star unlikable protagonists. Make no mistake, I’m not saying all of these characters are complete dickheads. Some are bigger dicks than others, obviously. I just mean I can’t come up with a single example of two characters who seem like they have a nice, life-affirming relationship with one another. Everyone is dismissive and contentious of one another. It just feels so meaningless.

This pilot episode was a half hour and for some reason wouldn’t play properly on the Roku adult swim app, which is a terrible, terrible app. Like, literally, for some weird reason you can’t stream a lot of shit through it, and if you go to the browser version you get way more stuff. I don’t know why. The Roku app also puts an autoplay overlay over the closing credits and obscures what’s on screen, even when it’s technically still part of the episode.

That’s maybe the only thing the show has going for it, by the way: the closing credits song, which is (I assume) in Japanese and is very typical of your average poppy anime closing theme.

Adult Swim Shows Transition to High Definition (September 27, 2009)

In case you’re wondering, yes, I do feel bad that sometimes these little spotlights into Adult Swim’s non-episodic Miscellanea are dashed off by me, just joylessly marking the date something happened. I just sat down to type this paragraph and thought “this would’ve actually been a good thing to do research for.” I do recall this happening, though. The network had already begun future-proofing certain shows by producing them in HD. Metalocalypse, Squidbillies, Aqua Teen, and The Venture Bros. to name a few.

Also, I remember being very curious as to how 4:3 material would be handled on the network. Disappointingly, it was stretched to fill the screen. I remember people reporting that it was stretched in a manner so that the center of the screen was less warped than the edges, but I’m not sure if that was true. At the very least, I couldn’t discern such a thing. In fact, I would record certain shows on Adult Swim that were stretched on my DVD recorder, which hadn’t been calibrated to to record native 16:9 content. This meant that 16:9 stuff would wind up squished, which was an easier fix on my TV than the other way around. So it would effectively unstretch the 4:3 stuff and it looked very normal to me.

I’m not sure if they started producing the “bumps” in 16:9 before the switch. There’s definitely a noticeable difference in text size of the bumps in the early days compared to later, and I don’t know if that’s specifically attributed to the aspect ratio change or what. Also, I’m not sure why I’m wondering stuff like this out loud. Sorta makes me sound like a huge fucking loser???? (!)

A Plot- Cole and Jay are sent off on a mission at the request of the Cloud Kingdom. Some of their fate writing scrolls were smuggled out by a now exiled member of the kingdom and Jay and Cole's elements are the only ones capable of withstanding the location where the new owner of the scrolls now resides. The Everend Isles.

B Plot- The Ninja are sent out to take care of a recent prison break and learn that it was enacted from a new baddy calling herself Marvelous Sue. While the Ninja find that they can't seem to defeat her in her perfect state, they too notice the set of events past and present are starting to rewrite itself... including them!

A Jay and Kai centric season- set between Season 5 and 6

A Plot- As Kai can't stand to see Jay continue moping around about the breakup between his sister and Jay, Kai decides what Jay really needs is a breather! The two take off to Ed and Edna's Scrap Yard, where hoping for a peaceful visit with the nice couple turns into a wild chase for a new group of Baddies called the Metalocalypse who've taken the Walker parents hostage!

B Plot- Back at the Bounty, the Ninja are prepping for the new build of Sensei Wu's new establishment. But as hope would have it, a mysterious figure has been seen aboard ship and messed with a few things! Nothing to notice at first, until Wu falls victim to a 'mix-up' of teas and will sleep for the next 100 years unless they can find the counter tea to cure him!

A Cole and Nya centric season- set between Season 10 and 11

A Plot- During their downtime, Jay suddenly goes missing. Only seen days prior to his disappearance shuffling about mumbling about how chilly the new monastery had grown overnight. The two decide that they can't wait around for the others and go looking for him! Finding that one portion of the monastery has somehow been incomplete and shoved into a corner, they find that a long-forgotten Catacomb of Spinjitzu had recently awoken... and Jay was unlucky enough to find it first!

B Plot- As the Ninja stir up in anxiety over the disappearance of Jay (and now Nya and Cole!), they find former (AND ROGUE!!!) masters of Elements have begun to haunt their home! Without the master of Water to dispel these spirits, how are they to keep their home from getting hijacked?
