Ok, I and @sashonya were suddenly struck with inspiration after seeing some beautiful art made by @edorazzi. Specifically, an older piece made back in 2015 depicting Felix and Bridgette from Miraculous Ladybug PV as younger versions of Gabriel Agreste and Sabine Cheng. This one Specifically. So Sash and I made an AU.

This AU starts basically the same, with Adrien as the sheltered son of rich but distant fashion designer, Gabriel Agreste along with the late Emilie Agreste. And Marinette as the clumsy and anxious daughter of bakers Tom Dupain and Sabine Cheng. But one day while digging through the old belongings of his parents, Adrien discovers a small box holding the cat miraculous. And for her birthday, Marinette is given a pair of family heirloom earrings. Which turn out to be the ladybug miraculous.

You can imagine where this goes...

Marinette and Adrien become the heroes Chat Noir and Ladybug, but are aware of older heroes who once existed several decades ago, long before either of them was born. With the help of their kwamis they go about trying to hide their activities as heroes fro their parents, seemingly doing rather well.

The kids go on to fight Hawk Moth, fighting to discover the identity of the villain who not even the audience knows. But through a series of events, the kids start to suspect it might be Gabriel due to his distance and coldness after the passing of his wife. Along with the fact both Miraculouses can be used to grant a wish that could revive his wife.

This all comes to a head in the season one or two finale, depending on the show's preference, where the kids are captured by Hawk Moth or one of their akumas. In the process, they are separated from their miraculouses, which are soon found by Gabriel and Sabine. The two parents meet up once they realize what happened to their kids. Gabriel looks down at Sabine, and gives a deep bow while greeting her with a "My lady" and Sabine simply laughs out a "My dear Chaton". And finally, it's revealed that both Sabine and Gabriel were once the previous holders of the two miraculouses. They quickly transform and rush off to save their kids.

Imagine the kids shock when they're sitting tied up, thinking they're up the creek without a pedal before Chat Noir suddenly cataclysms through the wall, followed by Ladybug(or their previous names). Both of them waste little time in freeing their kids, Gabriel shocking his son by scooping him up in a massive, teary hug. Yeah, he's actually rather sweet in this AU, just with a lot of difficulty expressing his emotions correctly, especially after his wife's passing.

Marinette and Adrien then get to witness the full power of the cat and ladybug miraculouses with their much more experienced parents who absolutely decimate Hawk Moth's forces. In that fight it's also revealed the truth of Hawk Moth's identity, being Tomoe, Kagami's mother. (Both of them would likely being introduced much earlier in this AU). Tomeo would specifically take a lot of inspiration from @bigfatbreak's Nekydallon, being blind but regaining her sight when akumatizing someone, along with a sick-ass butterfly mask. I'm not certain of Tomeo's motivations, but I think she'd make an interesting villain. She also likely would have been born sighted and have lost her sight at some point in her life, which possibly led her to find the butterfly miraculous.

After Marinette and Adrien are saved, their parents finally get to reveal the truth to them. Gabriel and Sabine were once the holders of the cat and ladybug miraculouses when they were younger, along with once being called Felix and Bridgette. As teens, they faced off against another great threat. But once their enemy was defeated, Paris no longer needed them. And both of them were tired of being heroes after so long carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. So together they decided to renounce their miraculouses and hide them away. In a motion to distance themselves from their previous identities, they also went about changing their names to Gabriel and Sabine. They actually haven't seen each other since they gave up being heroes in their twenties. Sabine did very much want to be there for Gabriel after Emilie died, but they'd been apart for so long and she worried returning to his life in such a turbulent time would only worsen things for him and Adrien.

Back then they were crazy close, not romantically but more like platonic soulmates. The only reason they avoided each other for so long was the knowledge both of them wanted to live their lives away from their past and had found their own new happy lives. However, things got a little complicated when Hawk Moth appeared and they became hyper-aware of the fact Paris needed new heroes. Which is what led them to entrust their own children with the miraculouses in secret. They felt that even if their kids wouldn't be able to take on the roles of heroes, they would be able to find the right people who could.

Maybe it's not the best reasoning but it's certainly something and I wouldn't put reasoning like that past this show.

I also like to imagine the cutesy interactions we can see between Sabine and Tom concerning the whole miraculous thing. Tom is 100% Sabine's biggest fan even after she retired. And he's had to fight as hard as possible to keep from scooping up Marinette and tell her how proud he is of her every time he hears about her actions as Ladybug. Gabriel and Emilie likely had a similarly sweet relationship concerning his former life as a hero. Though I think she was flattered to know he gave it up to start a life with her. Him and Adrien 100% would also need a scene where they visit Emilie's grave or memorial in private and talk about Adrien's exploits as Chat Noir. And just how amazed and proud she would surely be of him.

Anyway. I think that's it for the AU idea. It's a thing and it's sweet. I might be the one to write it if it wasn't for the fact I was working on something else. So anybody take it if you want it. I'm not gonna use it.

So I had an idea for a magical girl au based on canon ml and I decided to design the team's leader using a TOPModel colouring book bc I can't draw people

Her design is mostly inspired by Tokyo Mew Mew (for the sleeves and the garter belt) and Precure (specifically, Cure Coral for the hat, Cure Gelato for the socks and Cures Black and White for the purse)

Her name is Minako Cheng, she is the daughter of Bridgette Cheng and Felix Fathom *In this au, Felix Fathom is completely different to canon GDV Felix because I really dislike canon Felix and what the writers did with him. He is basically just Felix Agreste/ Sphinx but with a different surname* Minako has a Japanese name because she grew up in Japan.

Minako is very optimistic and cheerful, but she is also very clumsy. She is actually quite insecure and has a very low self-esteem, but she tries to hide this by being cheerful all the time. As the story progresses, she realizes that it is okay to not always be positive and becomes more open about how she really feels. Her grades are very bad, but she's actually quite good at sports, especially dancing.

Using the power of the Black Cat ring, she can harness the powers of destruction and misfortune to fight evil. She also uses an extendable baton as a weapon.

OKAY I JUST FINISHED CARMEN SANDIEGO AND I CANT STOP THINKING OF THIS AU. (contains spoilers for Carmen Sandiego*)

So basically the Characters would be as follow:

Bridgette Cheng: Nickname Ladybug, Real name Marinette Cheng.

She was found in Shanghai China by Master Fu on a Mission. She was raised in the Vile Island. And raised there, she speaks fluently more than 20 languages and has various common knowledge, she's a master in planning, stealth, and stealing. One of her objects it's to destroy V.I.L.E until Master Fu reveals he's been trying to protected all this time, and reveals the only reason he is inflated in Vile, is to find the Miraculous before they do, because he knows the power that they hold.

Adrien Agreste: Nickname Aspik, other alias Chat Noir.

Tired of proving he is worthy enough he finally discovers what his father has been doing all the times he's neglecting him, he is a criminal and head of V.I.L.E., Gabriel has been grooming him to create a supervillain all along, but Adrien knows better, he decides to play dumb and join the academy to help tear it apart, there he meets 'ladybug', they become friends, and maybe something else until he passes and Ladybug is left behind, he starts to doubt he made the right choice in his first mission, but there's no holding back now, he has to do to it for mom. So he decided having another alias that would help Ladybug if she needed it without blowing his cover, 'chat noir'. Used a disguise not even she could recognize.

Chloe Bourgeois: Nickname Queen Wasp.

She joined after her mom didnt think she would be a good fit just to prove her wrong, seeing that Ladybug was clearly the favorite to her mom made her despite her, she'll do anything possible to have her mom's approval.

Max Kanté: Nickname Gamer.

He met Ladybug when she answer the phone he tried to hack to get important files to upgrade his best friend, because he was her only contact to the outside world they became best friends, after she got out he decided to help her full time, he had nothing to do since he just got his master's degree.

Inspector Alya Cesaire: Agent of ACME

She's has an obsession with Bridgette Cheng, shes trying to prove her evilness but it's hard when she steals from thieves, in her mind it doesn't make sense to come to such lengths to return what's stolen. And she would do anything to prove it.

Nino Lahiffe: Agent of ACME

He was assigned to partner with the inspector, after that he got pulled with her after discovering ACME in a closet, he helps as a database and to keep Inspector Cesaire out of trouble, most of the time. He is doesn't get paid enough.

Alix Kubdel and Le Chie Kim: Amateur Thieves

Being help by Bridgette once this two best friends decide to help her in everything she needed and be her sidekicks, one is more competent than the other but but are pretty useful.

Gabriel Agreste:

Head of V.I.L.E., committed multiple crimes but main goal is to retrieve all of the miraculous stones to make a wish.

Audrey Bourgeois:

Part of the Head committee of V.I.L.E, Chloe's mom, plays favorites to her favorite student with a bright future in Crime, Ladybug.

Ms. Mendeleiev:

Head scientist, toughest teacher in campus.

Master Fu:

Part of the head committee at V.I.L.E, infiltrated as one of the most skilled fighters. Teaches multiple classes, no one has a clue he is not what it seems.

Mr. Damocles:

He is part of V.I.L.E. too, part of the head committee, usually just cares about the robberies and public admiration between his colleagues.

Marie Margaret Quinzel AU

Another “What if Marinette was the daughter of ...” AU ft. Dr. Harleen Quinzel aka Harley Quinn.

So Harleen had a one night stand, it wasn’t exactly her thing but it happened and now she was expecting a little bundle of joy.

Does she go look for the father?

No because She’s a Smart Independent Woman who got her Doctorate and doesn’t need a man.

Thus her little sunshine Marie Margaret Quinzel ( named after Mary Ainsworth, a pioneer in childhood attachments , and Margaret Floy Washburn, first woman to get her Ph.D in Psychology) was born.

Harleen made sure to spend time with her daughter and ensure she knew she was safe and protected, she’d seen enough patients with abandonment issues on the job.

She wanted the best for her little sunshine and when the offer came to work for Arkham Asylum with the big raise in her salary and hours she could get off work she agreed.

Sometimes she regrets ever making the decision .

Marie grows up learning to analyze people just like her mama. Harleen knew that she had always been an abnormal child, apathetic and borderline obsessed with learning the small things about people in some ways, it was the reason she was interested in psychology in the first place, but she knew it would prove useful for her daughter in the future.

Then she met him .

The thing that destroyed her mama and one of the few people Marie loathed.

Harleen hadn’t told people about Marie, she knew the people she worked with (both patients and co workers) weren’t exactly the most reliable or stable. She hasn’t even mentioned a thing to him.

She had felt it coming, her falling for Joker and tried stopping herself butbwas infatuated.

She wanted to learn everything about him.

But that made him dangerous.

Harleen wasn’t sure what to do but she decided it would be best to send her baby away with her cousin in Paris, Tom Dupain, who she’d attended the wedding of a few months after Marie was born.

Harleen hadn’t realized it but it was probably the best thing she could have done for her daughter.

Harley did her best to keep contact with her daughter but with all the insanity and her need to please her Puddin’, she suppressed her memories of Dr. Harleen Quinzel and fully immersed herself into the role of his Harlequin doll to the point she forgot she ever had a daughter in the first place.

It wasn’t until Mari sent Her a birthday present that she triggered her memories and completely broke down.

How could she forget her own daughter?

Harley , with the support and love of Ivy and Selena, begins to turn a new leaf. She stops escaping Arkham, she stops working with other villains, she stops working for Joker. It brings concern to the Arkham workers, who end up informing the Big Bad Bat, but there are other inmates, those with children, to have knowing smiles as they look at the work Harley puts in to becoming a better person.

Batman suspects something of her or that’s its a trap by Joker until she confesses that she’s not changing for himself but because she’s trying to be a better person for someone special in she wants back in her life .

Marie misses her mother dearly; she even started doing her hair like her mom’s for this reason. She began to question her aunt and uncle, the kind Dupain-Chengs who treated her like their own daughter and as an equal to Bridgette (She’s even registered as Dupain-Cheng in the school system because of the system’s fault but neither she nor her uncle and aunt found it necessary to go through all the work to change it since it had been years by the time they realize), what happened to her mama once she turned ten. They would change the topic whenever she did but eventually a year later they told her of the things her mama had done; the person she was forced to become by the hands of a monster.

Marie never blamed her mama, she was well aware of her mama’s struggles as a child.

She blamed Joker and wanted nothing more than to see him locked up in the pits of Tartarus.

When Marie turned twelve she was surprised when she came back from school; In the living room was Her Mama along with two women she recognized as Poison Ivy and Catwoman. Harley expected yelling and screaming from her little sunshine, she deserved it after abandoning her, but was reduced to tears as the girl before her just gave her a bone crushing hug.

Since then Harley either visits Marie or Marie visits her in Gotham  (She and Tom were both in agreement that they prefer Paris visits over Gotham but Marie deserved to know her roots and would be protected by Rogues but Harley questioned if it would be enough against Joker)

At fourteen Marie Margaret Quinzel became Ladybug, protector of Paris. She definitely did not tell her parents, not her two moms or her psudo-parents, because she didn’t want to stress them further. She also starts her first year of high school by American standards or 3ème in France, and is just overwhelmed by the different personalities and issues these kids have;

Looks at Chloe: “You’ve got mommy and abandonment issues as well as a low-self esteem” Suffice to say Chloe doesn’t bother Marie anymore or tries to make herself small around her. After talking one afternoon she gets Chloe to open up and thus her road to recovery is a go.

Its worse when she meets Adrien and immediately wants to remove him from his home and just wants to wrap him in a blanket burrito. She recognizes the signs of isolation, his child-like view of the world with his naive sense of what friends and school should be like, his abandonment issues as well as inferiority complex.

She basically becomes the class therapist and they love her for it. Marie still wants to be a designer though.

 At fifteen Marie Margaret Quinzel was visiting her mother in Gotham, with Kaalki and Tikki at her side of course, and was taking inspiration on the Gotham rooftops when she met a boy.

Definitely older than her but she could feel the waves of anger rolling off of him, she could feel the corrupted magic damaging and controlling his soul.

That was the night she met Jason Peter Todd.

The two start talking and Marinette hears his story, he wasn’t gone enough to attempting to kill children, and when he was done all she said was  “You look like you need a hug”

She decides that he needs help, unless they want a blood thirsty criminal on the lose not that Gotham lacks any, and takes him home.

The Sirens did not expect to see Robin come in through the window along with Marie. Everyone knew Joker killed Boy Wonder II

They definitely did not expect him to try and kill Harley because of the Madness, his mind wanting revenge on the Joker. He took out a gun and aimed straight to Harley’s heart, part of him wanted it to be a swift death, but was snapped out of it when Marie jumped in front of her mama and started talking him out of it.

Jason would not kill a child.

Marie is offended since he’s only like two-three years older but her short height and pigtail do not help.

Thus begins Jason Todd’s road to recovery from Pit Madness with the help of the Sirens and Marie, who also learns how to remove any residue magic with the help of Tikki.

She then passes word to her parents, who fight tooth and nail to earn legal custody of said child (We don’t care they aren’t on the adoption list, they deserve to be in a home FULL OF LOVE).

Catbug AU- AU where Marinette has both the Black Cat and Ladybug Miraculouses. She calls herself Catbug. Plagg and Tikki are like a second set of parents to her, and she eventually develops a harem.

Mike and Mari AU- AU where Marinette has an older brother named Michael. He is her favorite thorn in her side as well as her go-to Miraculous Holder. He’s dating Miss Bustier and is going to school to become an interior designer.

Role Reversal AU- AU where Marinette and Adrien are switched Miraculouses. Lady Noire and Mister Bug protect Paris against Pavona and Hudie (Gina and Sabine); who want the Miraculouses to bring back Tom. Involves reverse crush and somewhat reverse life.

Adrien’s Monster AU- AU where Duusu summons a full time sentimonster to protect Adrien. He names it Hiss and it follows him everywhere he goes. Hiss and Plagg hate each other.

Supernatural AU- AU where everyone except Adrien (who’s still human) is a mythological creature. Marinette is a fairy, Kim and Rose are werewolves, Alix is a Hobbit, Mylene is a Dwarf. Juleka and Luka are vampires, Ondine is a mermaid, Ivan is an ogre, Alya is one of the last of the Nine-Tailed Fox clan, Chloe is an elf, Lila is a changeling, Max is half-sphinx, Nathaniel is a brownie, Kagami is a yokai, Marc is a leprechaun, and Nino is a Kappa (though nobody knows). Hive Guard AU- AU where Chloe keeps her Miraculous at the end of Miraculer, runs away, and becomes a freelance hero of sorts. She’s extremely active is trying to find and stop Hawkmoth and Mayura. She lives in the eiffel tower, and trains with Pollen every day. Nobody but Sabrina knows her location; and she becomes Queen Bee’s right hand.

Jurassic AU- AU where Emilie’s maiden name was Hammond, and one day Adrien discovers is grandfathers work and reopens Jurassic Park.

House Cat AU- AU where Cat Noir actually decides to date Marinette in Weredad and becomes the Dupain Cheng housecat.

Mother Peahen and Papallion AU- also known as the MP3 AU. AU where Duusu and Nooroo adopt Adrien after Heroes Day with Plagg as the greasy uncle.

Road Trip AU- An AU where Team Miraculous travels around the world looking for Lost Miraculouses after defeating Hawkmoth and Mayura. Ali and Aurore bear the Moth and Peacock Miraculouses in this AU.

Miraculous Descendants AU- An AU where Miraculous characters are in the movie Descendants. Most of them are the children of Akumas.

Thing 1 and Thing 2 AU- An AU where there are two boys that like Kagami. Behind the Scenes AU- An AU where Miraculous actually is a show in the canon universe and the characters are all actors. Chloe and Rose are sisters from the South. Jagged, Marinette, and Kagami are siblings. Gabriel and Adrien are Uncle and Nephew, and Lila is Marinette’s best friend.

Akumavillian AU- An AU where everyone who has been akumatized has the ability to turn into their Akumas without the power of the Moth.

Cat’s Shipping Show AU- An AU where Cat Noir runs a blog dedicated to all the ships of Team Miraculous, because he’s shipper trash. He gives people the news on certain ships, and reviews ships as well.

Ghost Bug AU- An AU where the past Ladybug’s are attached to Marinette. They’re like her 24/7 Obi-Wan, and they’re a little Ladybug family. Turns out, everyone on Team Miraculous (plus Hawkmoth and Mayura) are in the same boat.

Sentibug AU- An AU where Bugette wasn’t destroyed by Mayura and instead becomes Ladybug and Cat Noir’s sidekick/daughter

Mom Pink AU- An AU where Pink appeared instead of Steven when his gem was taken out. Somehow they can both exist now and mother and son are reunited.

Adrien Universe AU- Steven Universe, but with Miraculous characters.

Cass as her royal adviser and personal bodyguard, and Varian’s her little brother and the royal alchemist.

Cousins AU- Inspired by the theory that Rapunzel, Elsa, and Anna are cousins. An AU where they were there to celebrate her birthday in Secret of the Sundrop and went with her and the gang to the Dark Kingdom! Sven, Kristoff, and Olaf tag along too, of course.

Twins AU- An AU where Marinette and Kagami are long lost twins

The Prince and The Pup AU- An AU where Prince Ali starts going to Marinette's school after falling for the heroine known as Chien De Guarde after his first encounter with her. What he doesn't know is that Chien De Guarde is Sabrina Raincomprix.

Okay, so I know the prompt is actually "Greek AU", but this is already an AU, so uh... This is what I've got XD

"Dude! Did you see?"

Nino shoved a newspaper into Adrien's hands before he had fully turned his chair to face him.

"See what?" Adrien flattened the paper on the counter of his dressing room vanity and the question answered itself.

"I got a picture of Chat Noir in action! And it made the front page! Look, that's my name right there!"

Adrien stared at his face looking back at him. How had he missed Nino with a camera? He had never been photographed this close, this clearly before. He had been so careful for the past year. If he had been paying attention, he could have turned so his back was to the camera easily enough.

"I found out I actually know the girl he saved. She's my girlfriend's best friend."

She was the problem. Something about her had caught his attention and kept it. It wasn't how done she was with the villain; he had encountered that attitude often enough. It wasn't her cute outfit or stunningly blue eyes; he worked in fashion, surrounded by pretty people in pretty clothes. But for some reason, he hadn't been looking for cameras as he saved her.

"So? What do you think?"

Adrien looked up and smiled. He could be happy for his friend and freak out simultaneously. "I think I need to take you out for celebratory drinks when this fashion show is over."

Nino chatted away about the picture for a bit longer before he had to leave to set up his camera equipment for the show that night. He reached for the paper to take it with him. Adrien dropped his hand down on it, pinning it in place.

"Actually, can I keep this copy?"

Nino's grin was contagious. "Sure, bro. I grabbed a few. I'm kinda flattered you like it that much."

Adrien looked down at the woman clinging to him in the picture, her eyes shut and nose scrunched up, but her arms holding strong around him.

"I think you really captured them."

Nino left, and Adrien leaned his elbow on the counter, staring at the hero action shot. What was it about the lady in his arms?

And was there any way to see her again?

"It's too late to disguise yourself now, M."

Marinette had wrapped a scarf around her head, worn a giant, bulky sweater to hide her shape, and had sunglasses on inside the newspaper office. They were sitting in the conference room, stirring their coffees and waiting for everyone else to show up for the weekly morning staff meeting where Marinette and a couple other interns were to be officially promoted.

"If Nino didn't recognize me before handing the picture off to your boss, then this should be the perfect disguise. No one at the paper has to know that 'Chat Noir saves young woman' is me."

Alya plucked Marinette's sunglasses off her face and tucked them in the pocket of her flannel. "I dunno, you've got a pretty noticeable face. And it's good publicity for the paper, too. You know, the place that signs your paycheck?"

"But it's my face! Don't I get to control when and how my face is used?"

"Did you read what you signed when you started working here? They can use our image or likeness at any point so long as it reflects well on the paper, basically."

Marinette groaned. "I knew that joining you in journalism until I get my clothing lines off the ground was a bad idea."

"Well, it's too late now. In a few minutes, you'll be Marinette Dupain-Cheng: Junior Fashion Reporter."

"Yeah, such a giant leap up from fact checker and coffee fetcher."

"You do fetch a mean coffee."

Marinette walked over to fiddle with her basket of muffins in the center of the table refreshments table. "You, Junior Super Hero Reporter; Foreign Hero Activity, abused your power over us lowly interns, and once we're equals and I'm settled at my desk, I'm making sure the whole office knows of your cruelty."

"Equals in job description only," Alya said. "I have seniority on my side, still."

Bridgette, the head of the paper, poked her head in the conference room. "Marinette? Could you come with me for a moment?"

Marinette exchanged a look with Alya before following Bridgette down the hall to her office. Marinette's heart dropped when Bridgette closed the door.

"How are you doing?" Bridgette asked, gesturing for Marinette to sit in the chair across her desk.

"Fine. A little embarrassed that Nino managed to get a picture of one of my most embarrassing moments."

Bridgette waved a hand at that. "You did nothing embarrassing. The man in the spandex suit made to look like a banana peel, on the other hand, he should feel embarrassed." She frowned and leaned forward. "But you're okay? You're not hurt? An experience like that can be really scary. If you need some time off-"

"Oh, no, I'm fine, really!" She slid her headscarf down around her neck. "May I ask you a question?"

"Of course," Bridgette said.

"Is something else wrong? Because I get the feeling something else is wrong."

Bridgette smiled, but there was something behind it that added to the feeling that something was about to happen. "That's what I like about you, Dupain-Cheng. You're quick. You have excellent instincts. You follow your gut. That's why I knew, even with minimal writing experience, that you would be a good fit here." She paused to take a breath. "I have some bad news, some kinda-nice news, and something to try to make up for the bad news."

Marinette's heart, which had been sinking since Bridgette called her away, settled with a dull thunk deep in her gut. "I'm not getting promoted to Junior Fashion Reporter, am I?"

Marinette lowered herself into her seat next to Alya and did her best not to give in to the desire to just slump forward and let her upper body dangle over her knees like a limp cloth doll. It wasn't even eight in the morning and already she felt drained.

"What happened?" Alya whispered as Bridgette started the meeting. Marinette shook her head and turned to stare at the front of the room, absorbing nothing.

"-And welcome to the staff, our newest Junior Reporter, Chloe Bourgeois. She will be in the Fashion Department. I am also-"

A blonde woman with a ponytail (and too much attitude for anyone over the age of fifteen) stood, cutting Bridgette off in the middle of her sentence. "Hello! I'm sure most of you know who I am, but for any of you who are new to town, I am Chloe Bourgeois, the daughter of the mayor. Of Paris. My father has always been a great supporter of the press, and I hope to continue to support his vision for how the Daily Planet can improve in-"

"Thank you, Chloe," Bridgette said, slapping her hand down on the podium but with a tense smile firmly pasted across her face. "As I was saying, please congratulate our very own Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Her hard work, dedication, and proven writing skill have earned her the position of Junior Reporter in our award-winning Superhero Department."

Marinette had the feeling that the skills Bridgette listed had less to do with how Bridgette saw her, and more with what she saw Chloe to be lacking.

When the meeting ended, Marinette mechanically collected the baskets that had held her muffins. Other interns and reporters congratulated her, and she did her best to respond like she didn't have a small tornado ripping through the landscape of her mind. She was working her way through another awkward, "Thank you, I'm excited to contribute," when a hand latched onto her arm, pulling her away and shouting something to the person with whom Marinette had been talking.

"M! What is going on?"

Marinette looked around and found she was in a supply closet with Alya. "I didn't know we had so many types of pens."

Alya looked around the room, then back at Marinette. "You were an intern. You were never sent to grab stuff from this supply closet?"

"I guess not."

Alya shook her head, then pushed her glasses back into place. "Marinette, what happened to your promotion? Who is this Chloe girl who has your job?"

Marinette laughed, finally, fully coming back to herself. "'My job.' Oh, Alya, I have a feeling I'm going to miss the intern days."

"Girl!"

Marinette sighed. "Okay, this is off the record, and you can't let anyone know you know. Especially Bridgette. Okay?"

Alya tucked her pen behind her ear and stuck her phone in her back pocket. The Alya gesture of 'I'm not writing anything down or recording it. This is between us.’

"The mayor called in a lot of favors to get his precious little girl her dream job. So the Fashion Reporter job was taken, and they don't have the budget for two Junior Reporters in Fashion right now. Because of the timing of the Chat Noir picture, Bridgette and Nadja decided it would be best to give me the promotion, even if it's not the department I want. I'm now the official reporter on all things Chat Noir."

"Aw, Marinette." Alya threw her arms around her. "That sucks! I know how much you wanted this, how hard you worked for it."

Marinette hugged her back, resting her head on Alya's shoulder for a few seconds. "Thanks. It's not all bad, though. You and I get to work in the same department. Nadja is a family friend, so I already know how my boss acts and thinks. And..."

Alya pulled away, squinting at the lighter tone Marinette had taken. "And?"

"And Bridgette felt a little guilty, and wants to make sure I stay until a position opens up in Fashion, so I negotiated a slightly bigger raise than she originally offered. I make almost as much as you, now."

Alya fist bumped her. "Alright! Good for you, girl."

Marinette shrugged but smiled. "Thanks. I guess I'm just doing what I can with what I've got."

Alya hugged her again. "Well, I'm glad it's not all bad. But, would you turn down a little cheering up anyway?"

Marinette shook her head. "I don't trust your definition of 'cheering up,' Alya Cesaire. I'm still bruised from 'cheering up' Alix last month."

"Really?" Alya pulled something from her pocket. "What if I said we could spend the evening looking at some individuals who could put Greek gods to shame?"

miraculous 'Your Name' au;

i've been thinking about this movie a lot so let's get started shall we not?

spoilers for your name, duh.

ps: some of these replacements for characters are a little out of the box so please hear me out.

Marinette Cheng lives on the countryside of France with her grandfather Master Fu and her little sister Bridgette

her mother Sabine Cheng died of a horrible sickness when she was younger and due to that her loving and warm father Tom Dupain turned cold and distant and ruptured any connection he had with the family and their traditions

Marinette dislikes her town and wishes she could go to Paris and pursue her dreams of becoming a famous designer

but for now she stays in town with her grandfather and sister and her two best friends Alya (who has a little crush on her) and Chloe (who here is much more subdued because she's been raised by her mother instead of her father, who didn't have any fortune. Chloe still has a hard time believing in herself, and sometimes needs a little push to be confident).

chloe can still come up with snarky comebacks to alya's taunts however.

what she does enjoy doing is weaving braided chords as well as adding little pearls and wooden designs to them to make them her own

she calls them her lucky charms and always likes keeping them in her hair

Adrien on the other hand is a pretty wealthy boy from Paris.

His dad, Gabriel, is not very present but he basically gives the boy anything he could ever want.

His best friends are Nino (who encourages his wild side) and Felix (who keeps him a little more grounded.

he also works at an italian restaurant to prove to his dad and the world that he can do things himself. he refuses to use any of the money that his father gives him and instead gives it to charity. he only spends the money that he earns.

it also helps that Tikki, a beautiful girl who seems like the world spins in her favor, works with him.

anyways the two switch blahblahblahblahblah

As Marinette, Adrien is able to express a little more of his wildside and the temper that most people don't seem to realize he has

As Adrien, Marinette shows off a little more assertiveness and is also given the opportunity to show off her sewing skills when a rude customer slashes Tikki's dress with a knife

She also gets extremely exited when she sees all of the pastries in the big Paris cafes because it reminds her of the baked goods her parents would make her when she was younger.

anyways they cause a lot of mischief to each other's lives blahblahblah but secretly they don't want these switches to end.

but they do.

and after a disastrous date with Tikki, Adrien realises that he might have true deep feelings and try to find her.

so Tikki and Felix decide to come with him. Tikki finds it incredibly romantic and Felix just wants to keep his friend out of trouble.

but then they find out that the small town was destroyed 3 years ago

and Marinette is dead.

but he suddenly remembers a shrine he visited as Marinette, Home to Plagg (the god of destruction), Wayzz (the god of protection) and Nooroo (the god of heroes).

if all of them agree, they could give him a second chance.

and they do.

yay!

so when he gets back he convinces Alya and Chloe to help him save the town and although Alya is all for causing mischief Chloe is so so on the idea but she stil wants to help her friends.

Adrien also tries to convince Tom to back him up but gets reminded of his own relationship with his father.

and he realizes that only the true Marinette can convince her father.

and since he knows she's probably in his body near the shrine, he goes there to find her.

and while he's biking to find her he realizes that she came to visit him three years ago when he didnt know her and thats how he got his lucky charm around his wrist.

he gets to the shrine.

AND ITS TWILIGHT. THE MAGIC HOUR.

so they change back into their own bodies and first they flirt and tease each other but then Adrien tells Marinette about the situation

and then he has the brilliant idea to write each other's name on their hands so that the memories of each other will never fade

but twilight ends and marinette doesn't get to write her name on his hand

and adrien stupid romantic kid writes "i love you" on her hand instead.

CRIES.

anyways marinette saves most of the town.

and now we are 8 years into the future from that point.

Adrien and Marinette both know they are looking for something but they don't know what.

Adrien keeps having these weird moments of clarity. Sometimes he hears bells when he passes a certain figure. One time he even heard a conversation between a couple about to get married. The girl refers to the other as Alya, which is familiar. She wants her to lose weight before the wedding.

for some reason that strikes something strange inside of Adrien

and one day in the train

he sees HER

he doesn't know who she is but he chases after her

she chases after him

they find each other

they see each other

he cries

she cries

they ask each other for their names.

She’s the Panda Kwami of Balance, and the kwami of Cory Bernard/Panda Girl, my Miracusona. When she’s not helping out Cory, she’s busy trying to bond with Adrien. This one takes place within the show.

Miraculous Injustice AU- AU where the members of Team Miraculous are placed in the Injustice video game. The canon Team Miraculous gets sent to a dimension where the team is split up and akumas fight for both good and evil because Cat Noir turned evil after they found out Gabriel was Hawkmoth. The Quantic Kids (Felix, Bridgette, Melodie, Sparrow, Gavroche, Kim Mime, and Mercury) are included in this AU as well.

Dupain Cheng Kids AU- AU where Tom and Sabine adopt everyone in the Miracuclass as their child (except Adrien cause he’s their future son in law). Marinette keeps an eye for fellow classmates that don’t have the best home life. She then passes word to her parents, who fight tooth and nail to earn legal custody of said child (We don’t care they aren’t on the adoption list, they deserve to be in a home FULL OF LOVE).

Catbug AU- AU where Marinette has both the Black Cat and Ladybug Miraculouses. She calls herself Catbug. Plagg and Tikki are like a second set of parents to her, and she eventually develops a harem.

Mike and Mari AU- AU where Marinette has an older brother named Michael. He is her favorite thorn in her side as well as her go-to Miraculous Holder. He’s dating Miss Bustier and is going to school to become an interior designer.

Role Reversal AU- AU where Marinette and Adrien are switched Miraculouses. Lady Noire and Mister Bug protect Paris against Pavona and Hudie (Gina and Sabine); who want the Miraculouses to bring back Tom. Involves reverse crush and somewhat reverse life.

Adrien’s Monster AU- AU where Duusu summons a full time sentimonster to protect Adrien. He names it Hiss and it follows him everywhere he goes. Hiss and Plagg hate each other.

Supernatural AU- AU where everyone except Adrien (who’s still human) is a mythological creature. Marinette is a fairy, Kim and Rose are werewolves, Alix is a Hobbit, Mylene is a Dwarf. Hive Guard AU- AU where Chloe keeps her Miraculous at the end of Miraculer, runs away, and becomes a freelance hero of sorts. She’s extremely active is trying to find and stop Hawkmoth and Mayura. She lives in the eiffel tower, and trains with Pollen every day. Nobody but Sabrina knows her location; and she becomes Queen Bee’s right hand.

Jurassic AU- AU where Emilie’s maiden name was Hammond, and one day Adrien discovers is grandfathers work and reopens Jurassic Park.

House Cat AU- AU where Cat Noir actually decides to date Marinette in Weredad and becomes the Dupain Cheng housecat.

Mother Peahen and Papallion AU- also known as the MP3 AU. AU where Duusu and Nooroo adopt Adrien after Heroes Day with Plagg as the greasy uncle.

Scales and Whiskers AU- An AU where Ryuuko and Cat Noir fight over who gets to date Marinette. She eventually gets so sick of it that she just tells both of them to date her. Before she knows it, she’s got a superhero boyfriend and girlfriend.

Behind the Scenes AU- An AU where Miraculous actually is a show in the canon universe and the characters are all actors. Chloe and Rose are sisters from the South. Jagged, Marinette, and Kagami are siblings. Gabriel and Adrien are Uncle and Nephew, and Lila is Marinette’s best friend.

Akumavillian AU- An AU where everyone who has been akumatized has the ability to turn into their Akumas without the power of the Moth.

Cat’s Shipping Show AU- An AU where Cat Noir runs a blog dedicated to all the ships of Team Miraculous, because he’s shipper trash. He gives people the news on certain ships, and reviews ships as well.

Ghost Bug AU- An AU where the past Ladybug’s are attached to Marinette. They’re like her 24/7 Obi-Wan, and they’re a little Ladybug family.

Bridgette Cheng au headcanons!

Omg YES! I have A LOT

-She was nicknamed ladybug because she was always lucky during her sneaky sessions

-She actually has stolen so many phones from the island, and no one ever knows it's her because she looks so innocent

-Audrey was her mentored and loved her like a daughter, that made Chloe REALLY jealous that’s why she hates her the most.

-Because Gabriel was more invested in VILE than his family he regrets why his wife died the most, in this AU he was never caring but his wife was. She didn’t know about her husbands doing until later and that’s why she died.

-Adrien is left with his mother’s last words which told him to basically destroy VILE, that’s when he gets invested and enrolls in the academy.

-Chloe was enrolled a year before because she always wanted the approval of her mother, but because she was too proud she failed the final round.

-In this AU Ladybug does pass the final test but quickly escapes after learning the organization she was raised in was evil

-She told Adrien/Aspik to follow her, but he declined well knowing that he wanted to, after that they become ‘frenemies’ not really because Aspik is helping her and she knows it, basically playing around

-Ladybug after escaping sees a billboard with a model in red and the brand Bridgette cheng and takes the name. 

-Adrien on the other hand always tries and keep tabs on Ladybug, she knows everything about VILE their every move, she was raised there! she was the key to destroying it, even though he couldn’t tell her.

-Max and Bridgette are BEST FRIENDS they been talking for years and max even taught her a thing or two about finding people with just a little connection, he lets her borrow her robot on special occasions

-Inspector Cesaire is OBSESS with Bridgette Cheng, she just finds it cute. Alya follows her all around the world with little to know information about her next move, just to fail every time.

-Agent Lahiffe is just following her around keeping her from danger, which she often in.

-Nino is just done, he keeps telling her that Brigette is not a real threat and there’s something behind that, keeps getting rejected

-Because Ladybug is out of the picture, Audrey starts focusing on Chloe which she LOVES and knows how to put it all over Bridgette every encounter they have, but because she always loses, her mother highlights more Bridgette’s technique comparing her all the time.
