Sometimes I wonder if they ever actually stopped "working together" but to be completely fr. Habit was so fucking jealous of slenderman. I feel like Habit decided he was tired of basically working for someone instead of doing his own thing. What was he really getting out of this arrangement? he does all this work and for what? to extend his victims lives a little longer? Habit was getting restless, he wanted something of his own. I truly don't think there was any "falling out" until Habit STOLE Vinnie from slenderman.

As you can see in the series, Habit even gives Jeff up to slenderman going "he's all yours" and shit. And then.... then a summoning happens. Vinnie chooses HABIT. he called habit to him for protection from slenderman, and habit saw it as the perfect opportunity to have something of his own. Vinnie wanted him, and if he were to let Vinnie go Slenderman would take him away. Habit has seen how special Vinnie is to slenderman and he's seen the power of the north star. Imagine if HE could have that power. If Vinnie was HIS.

In the Princeton tapes the rake visite Vinnie and talks to him (the visit) and we get this:

Vinnie is not habit's to take either, yet Habit did it anyway. He broke his agreement with Slenderman specifically just so he can have Vinnie for himself. Right before the rake cuts Vinnie he says this:

Clearly HABIT did NOT view the agreement as rewarding as the rake did. all habit wants is more and more and more and when he got Vinnie he got so territorial that he couldn't even let him leave the house without him. He needed to make sure Vinnie stayed his even tho truthfully, he never was, and he never will be. Vinnie wanted to be habit's, more than he ever wanted to belong to Slenderman.

I love that not a single person talks about the fact that Habit emailed the boys that video of the Rake at the beginning of May & June. Where was he.
