So for the last 2 months I've fixated on doing redesigns based somewhat loosely on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I've had so much fun filling in the gaps and extrapolating until my version is less of a redesign and more of an AU.

"Ponies" are three species of sentient hoofed creatures that populate Equestria. They worship giant goddesses that fill the sky and ferry the moon and sun across the world.

I headcannon Scootaloo does her scooter stunts for attention, like not in a kinda RD way like "I'm so cool, you should totally notice me" kind and more of a "Did you see me? Please say you saw me, please say it was cool,"

Sure, Scoots has a knack for stunts because the love for thrill runs in her genes (cough cough Snap Shutter and Mane Allgood cough cough) because her parents are adventurers.

But, like, while her aunts try their best to raise her as the best they can as seen in Last Crusade and in one of the comics, they literally say she was their daughter they never had. But, in Parental Glideance, it's evident that their need to leave Ponyville time to time and not giving Scootaloo the ENOUGH attention she needs but it's still affecting her.

Even though we know she hates hugs and being sappy which I believe mellowed out in time but we're using it in here, she'd rather have RD's clingy, supportive, and attentive parents. She's like, "atleast they're present when you need them".

She'll do stunts, she'll do anything for a tinsy bit of attention as long it doesn't involve verbally saying she wants needs attention. She doesn't mind breaking a bone even if it hurts a bit or getting a small scar.

Although, she does less reckless stunts, albeit still dangerous, as she grows older. Since, Rainbow Dash is filling the empty gap of needing attention, I feel like it would be evident as the seasons progressed. But not by much.

Especially that it's my infection au!! Right now I'm just going to post the survivors until I can post the actual gore and the stages of of the infection. But while I'm working on that I hope you enjoy the survivors I got line up!!

Starting off with King Sombra and Flurry Heart!! Now this au, Flurry Heart is a little older, so she is is around the same age Apple bloom would've been in the show. (The cutiemark crusaders are obviously little older in this au as well. And this takes place the beginning of season 3..just..a little different lol. Ah gotta love aus./g).

How Sombra became Flurry Hearts protector/guardian is a sad one with a sweet ending though. King Sombra came back once the Crystal Empire came back. But, it was easier than he thought. He just walked right in, trotting around the empty streets of the Empire. But, it was oddly quiet. He was more so confused and a little worried if the ponies were even alive. As he was trotting up to the Castle, he was attacked by an infected. He quickly fought back and impaled the infected pony (owch). He was now alert and he was bitten. Luckily for Sombra, he isn't a normal pony. He was more shadow than pony. So he can't get infected, he's immune. However, due to his dark magic corrupting his body many moons ago, he can't provide a cure. Once, Sombra got into the castle he noticed it was a pretty bloody sight. Before he noticed a white unicorn carrying a filly alicorn on his back, running away from a horde of infected ponies. Sombra quickly blocked the horde with his black crystals, saving the unicorn and filly. The unicorn turns out to be Shining Armor and the filly is his daughter, Flurry Heart. He suddenly began to beg and plead with Sombra, hoping he could take care of Flurry Heart, to protect her until her mother gets back from Canterlot. Sombra cringes at the idea of protecting this filly but, he knew she would probably die if she doesnt have anyone to guide her and provide for her. And he noticed that Shining Armor was bitten, and it was spread fast. Sombra is cruel, but he isn't that cruel. He promises Shining Armor to protect Flurry and takes her. He now is trying to reinforce the castle and to get any survivors into the castle to build and army to defend themselves and the other survivors. Flurry heart slowly brings out a softness in Sombra, and the two are close. Almost like found family (sobs)

I love these two, they are so cute and the fact that my version of Sombra always wanted kids when he wasn't corrupt but couldn't but then has to protect Flurry heart us just very sweet. He's literally a dad. And Flurry heart just brings out is sweet side and she just makes him play dolls and dress up, most definitely lol.

Here's their story!! I will post Twilight, AJ, Pinkie, Fluttershy and Discord soon!! I think I will post Twilight soon and I will work on RD very soon!! I have lost to work on and write as well!! (Also sorry if I misspelled anything or used the wrong words..I'm not the best at that lol)

Seeing how so many Tellius character end up in the orienta- I mean, desert banner, I wouldn't want to imagine a PoR or RD remake. At this rate, the only game that somehow managed to escape fanservice were the Jugrals

Judgral's lack of seasonal presence is very much a mixed blessing. On the one hand there's a sort of pride in it being the one FE setting that IS seems to treat with some degree of dignity, at least in the sense that we've never had any Jugdral characters in bunny outfits or Halloween costumes or whatever. On the other, restricting them almost completely to the most conservative seasonal themes (formal dancing, teatime) or to banners tailor-made for Jugdral (the Crusader festival) both restricts the number of alts the characters get as well as keeps them from all the fun, goofy designs seen elsewhere. Pirate Brigid and Lifis are about as silly as Jugdral has ever been allowed to be. I'd really like to see either game feature on the child banner, one of which is coming up in a few weeks. There's plenty of material to work with - the Gen 1 Lord trio at the academy, the Tirnanog kids, Leif and friends on the run pre-FE5 - and that banner theme is relatively serious as far as seasonals go.

As for Tellius remakes, IS may get around to them eventually, though it may be 5-10+ years from now. Who knows what the state of FEH will be by then, or if it'll have a successor gacha so IS can take everyone's money a second time?

Northern Beaches' Couch Crusades: Upholstery Cleaning

Imagine a relaxing afternoon on your pristine couch, the sun sinking over the Northern Beaches, the salty air floating in. Happy, right? The challenge is that maintaining a couch fit for such a scene can feel like chasing shadows. Sand, spills, even a surprise seagull feather or two—it seems your upholstery has seen more activity than a summer beach lifeguard. After a particularly messy movie night, ever tried the old "flip-the-cushion"? Yes, me as well. Hiding the evidence is, after all, more of a mirage than a fix. Local upholstery specialists then swoop in like knights with their magic wands, or more precisely steam machines. These people know the Northern Beaches as the rear of their hand. They address stains using methods as different as the waves breaking on Manly Beach. From the chocolate fingerprints left by your little Picasso to the splash of your morning coffee, they have techniques ready. And they are decent. Like "how did they do that?" nice. At home, the fight is not totally uphill. Frequent vacuuming can help to fight the sneaky crumbs and dubious specks. And for those piques in scent? Over night, a little baking soda sprinkled works miracles. It is like, practically, breathing fresh air into your textiles. But what about that inclination toward do-it-yourself cleaning? Manage your website horses. Too much enthusiasm could simply force the stain farther into the cloth, transforming a molehill into a mountain. Your best line of action sometimes is waiting for the cavalry. Courage sufficient for some do-it-yourself mixing? Lighter stains can be treated with a mild mixture of vinegar and water; just avoid dousing it as you would water plants. Use great care, as with watercolor painting. But here on Northern Beaches, there's a particular balance in the rhythm between the cozy inside and the windy seashore outside. This symphony includes cleanliness of the upholstery. Not only for the visual pleasure but also for furnishing a place that feels correct. Like fluffy socks on an early morning cold. Out of life on the Northern Beaches, take a leaf. Accept the saltwater air, the sun-kissed afternoons, and indeed, a couch just waiting for your next cosy spread. Because here lazing luxuriously is closely associated with living magnificently. / Okay, because I have actual plots for the pretend war game going on between Sweetie and the others; I encourage everyone to send some asks.

For those lost, I will explain what’s happening under the cut!

The Crusaders are playing a pretend war game. AJ, RD and Rarity are all participating.

AJ is ‘Apple Devil’.

Rarity is ‘Elder Diamond’.

RD is ‘Rainbow Soldier’.

Apple Bloom is ‘Sargent Apple’.

Scootaloo is ‘Queen Scootaloo’.

Sweetie is ‘Sweetie Boss’, leader of a mafia.

The roles make no sense, but then, what game of pretend does?

For those who want to include other characters during this, I welcome it! It’s honestly just a silly pretend game for fun for the characters!

Right now, ‘Elder Diamond’ is trying to get Sweetie Boss to betray Queen Scootaloo so that she can take over and rule.

And given they’re sisters, the boss is conflicted! So, have fun! Don’t shy away from helping Sweetie or recommending stuff! Your choices will affect the game choices Sweetie makes. Think of it like choosing a path; Sweetie can stay loyal to her friends or betray them, joining her sister on the path of evil.

The game is only over when someone dies (IN GAME ONLY) or gets their power role taken. Or if Sweetie decides to send all the Anon after Rarity, lol. Byeee!

It’s something I’d love to see them implement in the future, since they have improved on matters of gay representation a lot even since Fates

Actually they've had gay representation since FE3 with Rickard's crush on Julian. Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn were very LGBTQ positive with the hero Ike, not having a female love interest, several characters confirmed or hinted to be a gay and a non binary hero (Kyza) in 2008 Radiant Dawn. Of course some of this was censored in the english localization at the time.

Its just that the team behind that game disbanded due to poor sales and the new game afterwards by a new team Awakening, was super duper homophobic for some reason so someone on that team must've been a heteronormative crusader.

There are some homophobic comments in the Japanese version of Awakening's hubba tester that I can link, basically it says stuff like "You are both boys, ugh that is disgusting" to same sex results.

Again they also depicted Walhart's tactician as an okama (gay man+transwoman stereotypes) that was mocked by the good guys and depicted as a loathsome individual with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

So its more or like, Fire Emblem is getting back on track after getting derailed by a homophobic team.

Okay, I think somebody has to take my “knows stuff about Fire Emblem” card after forgetting POR and RD’s gay representation/hints (Didn’t hear about FE3 before, though, only GBA FE onwards!). Really strange and frustrating how the change in teams led to such a backslide we’re still getting out of (Engage, though I haven’t finished it, seems to have fully gender-equal endings, which is great. But man, FE3H having next to no male same-sex options was a frustrating choice.)

I definitely believe you on the comments in Japanese Awakening; the comments in English aren’t what I’d call great either, even if they are surface-level accepting. It’s strange to see them lean more into Awakening’s gay readings now with Robin and Chrom in Heroes, honestly (though I fully believe that could be just as much for gacha $$$), considering how much of a joke or even a failing gayness was treated as in the original, especially with Excellus.

Its bc like i do feel ashamed that my dream didnt come up with anything cooler bc the Dream Rarity was taken from her punk design i think and Dream RD's design was quite literally inspired by meanie's (?? I forgot her name but the friend of cutiemark crusaders) design. It wasnt original designs, rather it was the "original" mlp of my dream. It was the very VERY first mlp thing. Roger Harry Daltrey (born 1 March 1944) is a singer and actor that is best known as the founder and lead singer of the rock band the Who that started in the mid-’60s. The Who released 14 singles that were in the top 10 in the Uk for three decades. Daltrey sought a solo career in 1973 while still remaining a member of The Who. He released eight studio albums and five compilations. He had a number of hit singles. He has been in a few films worked as a producer for films, television, and theater. He received the Lifetime Achievement for the British Phonographic Industry In 1988. The Who were inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. He and bandmate Pete Townsend received Kennedy Center Honors in 2008. He was awarded the George and Ira Gershwin Award for Lifetime Musical Achievement in 2016. Daltrey received numerous awards throughout his career brought style and class to the band as a young mod to performing rock operas. During the Who’s run, they released 14 singles that are all classic rock songs. Daltrey was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of may have gone through a few changes over their time together but they still stayed relevant and true to their sound. He will occasionally perform with the only other remaining member Pete Townsend. Daltrey is one of rock music’s best lead singers.
