Jimi Hendrix with The Ronettes, Feb 26, 1966 at Union College’s Memorial Chapel, Schenectady, NY.

The amp belongs to the band "The Lovers" which was the backup band for singer Gary U.S.Bonds. Jimi played with The Lovers that evening in Bonds' absence, backing for The Ronettes.

Jimi Hendrix did not use this name and at that time he was virtually unknown (Before The Jimi Hendrix Experience).

one of my friends asked me to write a fic based off of a song(she probably heard it on tiktok), and i went "no?? do you know this song??" long story short, i will not be writing a fic from a song based off of sexual & mental abuse onto a girl by her husband. she thought it was about knowing someone through their changes in life, because all she knew was the chorus.
