a/n: My brain was thinking really hard on how they'd actually be in a haunted maze and this is the best I came up for the first half! Part 2 will include the mk women too!!!

Liu Kang ➤ He finds the attraction somewhat amusing. However he does not find it scary. Being a god has trained him to become wise and undeterred to such things, but he does enjoy your company and how you push him from behind so he could lead. It even boost his ego a little, feeling your hands cling to him with a small smile on his face.

Kung Lao ➤ He talked a big game, claiming that he'd protect you and that you can cling to him. However, deep down inside he is actually afraid. Will he show it or admit it? Probably not, but his hand does clench whenever a scare actor jumps out. When you guys reach the end, he puffs out his chest. "See babe? Wasn't scary at all."

Liar.

Raiden ➤ He was pushed to the front and admitted he was a bit nervous. He does get scared, but is extremely nice about it. Saying things like "Woah, you really got me there!" or "That costume is really. . .realistic." And he's okay with people clinging to him, he feels better knowing that you can be safe around him. Raiden is a sweet boy so he really enjoys the concept of Halloween, he finds it very fun and a great way to hang out with others.

Bi-Han ➤ He is. . . unamused. His face is grumpy throughout the whole thing and when people try to scare him, he just kind of stares with a raised brow. He charges through the maze without an ounce of fear, dragging you behind him because he wants to get this whole thing over with.

"Did you have fun?" You ask him.

"No."

Kuai Liang ➤ Like a father who finds it fun, but isn't really scared by it. He'd laugh in amusement every time someone jumps out and he has an arm protectively around you. He's heard of Halloween before, but never really experienced it in his younger days, so truthfully, he liked it when you dragged him along to the event. Of course, you did it only to use him as a shield, but Kuai Liang was okay with it.

"Are these truly supposed to scare people?" He'd ask, grinning at you.

Tomas Vrbada ➤ Took some convincing to get him to even go in. He tried his best to make excuses because yes, he was afraid, but more of Bi-Han's opinion. However, Kuai Liang told him it was okay and to have fun. So it resulted in the two of you both clinging to each other throughout the whole thing, screams leaving your throats every time something happened. Even though Tomas was scared shitless, he enjoyed the absolute thrill it gave him. He never got the chance to enjoy the simple pleasures of just being scared and having fun so he loved it in the end.

Johnny Cage ➤ "You go in first." He says.

"No, you go in first."

"You're being a pussy."

"Says you."

You and him ended up going in at the same time faking confidence and ended up clinging to each other in fear. You guys screamed the loudest screams you've ever scrumpt (Ik this is not a real word) and even ended up trying to push open a pull door. The scare actors were very entertained by you two to say the least.

Kenshi Takahashi ➤ He can't see, but was happy to be there as you helped him walk through the maze. He did get spooked by the random sound effects and louds screams they did so being blind didn't make him miss out on the maze entirely.

In the beginning though, he thought it was childish, saying "Really? You want me of all people to go in with you?" But he had fun nonetheless. He didn't outright say it though because he did not want to seem soft.

Shang Tsung ➤ He thought it was a waste of time, childish, and stupid. Did he go in though? Reluctantly, he did. He would get scared, but would be irritated by it. Huffing like the sassy man he is and rolling his eyes every time they managed to spook him.

"That was ridiculous, but the contraptions in there did give me some great inspiration."

. . .yeah, please don't ever show him the "Saw" films.

Havik ➤ An absolute menace. He laughs every time they try and scare him and sometimes he screams back just to see if he can spook them too. Most of the time he does because he not only screams, but tears off his limbs to terrify them even more.

"Earthrealmers are scared so easily." He chuckles in the most villain way possible.

Loves it because all he can hear are the screams of people and the decorations were pure chaos. Although he is a little upset that they aren't real. Why can't you just use real human corpses and skeletons? They're easy to get. . . to him at least.

Syzoth ➤ He was always very aware of his surroundings so don't blame him if he's a bit defensive the entire time. You had to reassure him that they wouldn't actually attack him and even if did understand, he'd still remained cautious. Even so, the maze did manage to spook him several times. Eventually, he eased into the concept of the holiday and began to enjoy himself. It was also a perfect place for him to be in his natural form, everyone complimenting him on his "costume". It made the zaterran happy as he gazed at the decorations in curiosity and awe.

He then nervously whispers a short are you sure? as he hugs you, and after your affirmation, Abba doesn’t need any more words.

Bruno

Bruno is really happy, but the fact that he will be able to see you is not the main factor. He feels joy because you decided to choose for yourself, to screw your parents’ commands, and to do what you feel your heart wants to do. He fully supports your decision, even though he understands where your parents come from. After all, their kid dates someone from the mafia. But it’s your life, not theirs, plus he really loves you, so he doesn’t even think about questioning it.

Fugo

Heck yeah! Screw your parents! For the past week he has been angrier than usual, not being able to see you, waiting for a word from you after your parents locked you up in the house. It was ridiculous! All these pent up emotions makes him tear up a bit. Not a lot, and when he notices that you see the difference in how glossy his eyes become, he hugs you tightly, nose buried in the crook of your neck. You’re his oasis, and he has to calm himself now that you are right by him, not going anywhere.

Giorno

I’m not sure why but I feel like Giorno would be the only one to question your decision from the start. I mean, yeah, he loves you, he wants to be with you, but because of this, he agrees with your parents. Someone like you shouldn’t be connected in any way with the mafia, in particular be in a relationship with the head of it. He wants everything and more for you, and when you tell him that you’ve made up your mind, and he hears the confidence, the firmness your voice holds, he shuts completely up, a voice that acts against his common sense, celebrating that he isn’t losing you. 

Mista

Of course he celebrates! Picks you up, twirls around and peppers whole face in kisses. He doesn’t like your parents just like he doesn’t like stupid people that they definitely are. Who do they think they are to tell you who to date or not??? Mista even suggests that you move in with him, because this way you wouldn’t have to worry about sneaking out. He pouts a bit when you decline, and even tries to jokingly bribe you with marriage, but he knows when to stop. He's just happy that you’re choosing to stay with him.

Narancia

He feels that you’re pranking him. And after you try to reassure him that no, it is not a stupid joke, he thinks that it’s a trap that your parents set for him. Only after five minutes or so, he believes you. And when he does, oh boi, the scream he scrumpts. SCREW YOUR PARENTS! Hell yeah! He even suggests that he can pay them a little visit, and you need to calm him down if you don’t want to become parentless.

Interesting notes from today's Hazbin Hotel live Q&A session with Viv, Erika (Charlie's VA), and Amir (Alastor's VA):

Alastor's fatherly tendencies towards Charlie aren't genuine; Viv said Alastor feels threatened by Lucifer's power and wants to get under his skin in any way possible, and undermining Luci and Charlie's relationship is simply the easiest way to do that

So apparently, someone on twitter asked Amir how Alastor can be aroace when he has so many cute lil gay poses, and Amir's response was "you don't have to fuck to be fab", which I guess someone made into a t-shirt? Lol

(Side note: people in the chat are paying money to ask questions about romantic Alastor ships through superchats and I'm so mad grrrrr let him be canonically aroace in peace you absolute ghouls)

like imagine going back home w channie. you start the mornings with the lil curly head and take berry on a walk by the water. the wind is blowing, and you & channie are holding hands while berry pulls on her leash and sniffs around. maybe you'll stop at a cute lil brunch place and get an outdoor table so berry can sit on one of the seats while you eat. they'll bring her a lil puppy treat so she's super happy. it's like literally having your own kid with him already.

then you go home and get cleaned up, mess around for a little bit, talk to hannah, before going back out for him to show you around his favorite parts of the city. he'll make sure to bring you to all of his favorite stores and favorite views. if you walk past a cute clothing store or jewelry store and he sees you eyeing something, he'll insist you go in and take a look around. whatever you want.

he'll take you to the harbor to sit and enjoy each other's company and watch the boats as they pass by. he'd promise you he'd buy you one some day. you'd giggle as you both tried to come up with names for your new boat. how he'd get it decked out with the best surround sound ever.

you'd be nervous as he'd invited his friends to meet you both for dinner. it was at one of their favorite spots to go together growing up. but once you actually met them, you understood why channie loved them so much. the way his personality changes when he's around them. he's cutting up the whole time as his friends tease him and they talk about old memories and funny stories. they make sure to tell you all about the embarrassing things chan did as a kid. at the end of dinner, they'd make sure to tell you how much chan bragged on you and that they were glad he had someone like you to watch out for him when they couldn't. channie would end by promising he'd see them tomorrow since you'd already made plans with his mom and sister to have a girl's day tomorrow.

he'd show you how pretty it was there at night time and take you to his favorite, romantic spot. a lot of couples went there to watch all the pretty lights. they'd have performers in the backgroup who were playing slow music to set the scene. he'd lean in and give you a quick kiss, telling you how happy he is that you could be there with him.

he'd buy you ice cream as you walked around some more before heading back home. you'd get back late, so the house was already still and quiet when you arrived. you both crept upstairs so you wouldn't wake anyone. after taking your showers to wash off the day, you'd both lay next to each other, reminiscing on your favorite parts of the day together. you'd ask him follow up questions about things he liked to do at those places and who he'd go with and if he had any important memories that happened there. you'd stay up giggling like teenagers until it was after 3 am.

once you'd both decided you needed to go to bed, you'd lay your heads on the pillows next to each other and close your eyes. before you'd drift off to sleep, channie would brush your shoulder before questioning you. "babe can i ask you a question?".

you'd turn over to see his face smiling softly at you. "of course honey, what's up?".

"do you think that you could live here one day?" he'd look at you with big eyes, looking like they were about to water.

you'd smile at him before moving a hand to the side of his face. "i could live anywhere with you. but yeah... this would be nice."

he'd lean in to give you the sweetest, most gentle kiss you'd ever felt. he'd linger over you before pulling away, his eyes full of endearment. "i love you. i promise i'm going to marry you someday and move us here. we'll make our own little world."

🀄️reflecting on richonne

One thing about Rick and Michonne - they did not split up if they didn’t have to. I love noticing how often they paired up and stuck together, especially pre-canon. And I also found it interesting the averse reaction they had whenever they did have to part. This “Richonne = magnets” stuff is just scientific fact. 😋 

(Side Note: before I even get into this post, I had to first quickly lose my mind over the latest glimpse into the spinoff. No spoilers for those avoiding any set pics…all I’ll say is ahhhhhh my heart is full and bursting at the same dang time and if you could have seen the scream I scrumpt when pics popped up on my tl last night. If just photos nearly knocked me out then I truly will be a mess in the best way when the show airs. We’re about to eat and I absolutely cannot wait 🤩🙌🏽

Now back to the regularly scheduled program, which is actually quite fitting since it’s all about how the king and queen are always together. Thanks in advance for reading, y’all 💛)

Once R&M decided they were done having any opposition after s3, they so clearly couldn’t hide how much they genuinely liked each other and enjoyed being around each other. And in the s4 premiere, Rick also could not hide that he was feeling a type of way when she kept going out to look for the Governor. An early indicator that Richonne ain’t meant to be split up. 

Then when everyone in the prison is scattered after Too Far Gone, of course Michonne is the one to reunite with her Grimes boys because even the universe knows they aren’t meant to be split up. 

In Season 5, Rick and Michonne are so often together. Like during the church dinner, the run with fellow couple Bob and Sasha, and when visiting Noah’s neighborhood. And they have to have a whole chat on who stays with the kids and who goes when Carol and Beth need rescuing from that hospital. Why? Cuz naturally they wouldn’t split up. 

And especially in The Distance we see how true that is. Rick is on full edge while Michonne is away looking for those cars. Then, after he’s willing to let her take the lead and make a huge decision for the group to go to ASZ, Rick of course wants Michonne to be the one that rides with him, Glenn, and Aaron. When their ride with Aaron goes awry and Michonne wants to go into the woods, Rick is against it…but then what’s the next scene? The two of them going into the woods. And later in the ep it’s just Rick and Michonne in that car with their kids while everyone else is in the RV. Why? Richonne doesn’t split up. 

In the s6 premiere, everybody is in different groups to take on the walker horde and whose paired together with Morgan? Of course Rick and Michonne are teaming up. They don’t split up. 

Michonne exhibits a rare moment of pure panic when Rick walks out of the infirmary to take on all those walkers in No Way Out. She’s so torn with an injured Carl inside and dazed Rick outside. She knows Rick needs her help. And deep down she knows if they’re going to take on anything it should be together.

When they go kill those Saviors in their sleep in 6x12, everybody pairs up and, despite being two people who could totally lead their own group, Rick and Michonne are paired up together with Daryl. (In my mind, I’ve always chalked that up to the fact that if they’re going to do something that dangerous R&M are going to need to visibly know each other are okay at all times lol. And magnets don’t split up.) 

It’s Rick’s turn to exhibit panic later in Season 6 when Michonne isn’t back yet after going out to find Daryl. In the scene where Abe offers him some comfort and later when he finds her locs on a walker, Rick seems so genuinely shaken. And a big reason why is cuz Richonne isn’t meant to be split up. 

In Season 7 they become even more consciously aware that Richonne is not meant to be split up when Michonne basically says as much in the 7x08 cell scene.

After both feeling off due to their distance in 7A, in the msf Michonne beautifully expresses how she doesn’t want it to be her way but “ours” and that the two of them can only win if they’re in it together. And then it’s the “me and you” way for them from there on out. When they go to Hilltop, The Kingdom, mow down walkers in cars (of which Rick says a passionate no when Michonne mentions splitting up lol), and meeting the Garbage group (where the arm grab that altered my brain chemistry just further illustrates they don’t like to be split up). They are side by side through it all. You already know why. 

Then, in one of TWD’s most gloriously blissful eps I got to thinking…how’d it work that only R&M went on that run for guns in 7x12? Like they needed a lot of guns and the streets were dangerous. They could’ve brought along a few more people, and yet Rick and Michonne told TF, “all y’all can stay home for this one, cuz we’re not trying to just look for guns while we’re out here.” #DirectQuote. Like I know they wanted this to be a two-person only run. Not just cuz they could handle it but cuz they wanted this honeymoon alone time together too. Here for it to infinity and beyond. And just further proof they don’t split up. 

Later when TF prepares to approach Oceanside, the gang is again all in groups and have these big tasks to set up and our lovely leader Rick said my main task is making sure my wife gets up that tree safe. Period. They don’t split up. 

Michonne has straight up sirens going off in her head while Rick is off at war in Season 8. Cuz they know they aren’t meant to be apart, especially when fighting the fight. 

In Season 9 (one of their most joyous eras cuz they’re finally able to be more settled and together🤗) they want as much time as they can get with each other. Even when work has Rick leading at the bridge and Michonne leading at ASZ, Rick is eager for them both to take a day off and have a family fun day cuz nothing is more important. And cuz they don’t like to be split up for long. 

These aren’t even all the moments I could pinpoint lol. But I think the case is proven. 

So of course these two are going to find each other even after all this time. We’re getting a whole reunion spinoff because Rick and Michonne’s connection is in every way magnetic. 

Years, distance, walkers, wars - ultimately nothing stands in the way of Richonne being together. Why? My babies don’t split up.🧲😌
