I mean come on death note!!!!!

As a Lisa stan I thoroughly enjoyed this special.

The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror

As Christmas draws near I begin to consider what Christmas special I should watch (this might be the year I finaly check out the He-Man/She-Ra Christmas special) and I was once again reminded on how different shows, especially the adult animation sitcoms, seems to specialize in different holiday specials.

The Simpsons of course make the best Halloween specials. Their Treehouse of Horror episodes have pretty much become part of the yearly holiday tradition. There are so many clever & memorable parodies here.

Bob's Burgers of course makes has the best Thanksgiving episodes and it feels fitting considering Bob's love of cooking. Sure they also have some pretty great Christmas & Halloween episodes too but it always seems like they bring their A-game for Thanksgiving. Weather its saving the wharff from ravenous turkeys, rescuing a parted turkey or pretrending to be their landlord's family, its always a joy to see the strugeling Belchers celebrating their favorite holiday. The only exception being season 13's Puts-giving which was boring as fuck. This year they didn't have one and it made the year feel a little empty.

Now to be fair I have never celebrated thanksgiving so pretty much all I know about it comes from american television. The first time I ever heard of it was Dino-Riders, no kiddin.

American Dad has the best Chistmas episodes in my opinion. Each year they knock it out of the park with another hilarious, creative christmas theme episode. This year was no exception. The Smiths family's yearly fued with santa is hilarious and one they keep revisiting.
