Leaving my Sims unpaused while I am AFK has been something I am live streaming on Youtube. I do it using a "dollhouse" build where you can see everything from a front view of the home.

I have some mods set up to allow the game to run afk without being interrupted by not paying bills or notifications. I also use the mods to make the gameplay a little more chaotic and entertaining for people watching.

If too many Sims meet their demise I do step in and add more. I often replace objects from time to time that has been destroyed by the fire too (there usually ends up being A LOT of fires). I also sometimes speed up time from 1 to 3 if nothing interesting is happening. Or zoom in on a specific room if I am at the computer while some chaos is going down.

I am using MC Command Center a lot for these streams. I use a setting called "Risky Woohoo"

Risky Woohoo allows Sims to become pregnant from regular Woohoo instead of just trying for a baby. I have mine set to a 90% chance of pregnancy for these streams. That is why babies are being born. I also have a setting enabled in MCCC that allows children to be adopted by a different household in the save (instead of being deleted) when they are removed due to low hunger needs. There is another feature that allows you to turn on autonomous repairs. As well as setting bills to autopay. I also use MCCC to increase the household max size from 8-25. I have max Sims in area set to 25.

The other important mod I use is the All Cheats mod. This allows me to turn off pop-up notifications that pause gameplay. This is also why any babies born during the stream are named * *. Because of disabling pop-ups if a Sim should be born in the house and make it to a teenager I have to age up the teen to a young adult using cheats or it will automatically follow the teen to high school. This has only happened once. So far.

We’ve had a bit of a refurb so things look nicer and there’s some new girls but other than that procedure’s pretty standard. Dollie's House: Dollhouse Recolor

I learned recently you can size down dollhouses, and they are still functional, so I started actually using them. That's when I realized, the dollhouse swatches are very limited... So I recolored one. As you can see, the inside doesn't change, I only made the outside look prettier.
