Okay okay okay I've had maybe 8 hours of sleep over 3 days but an aftg hc will fix me thus I present

Aaron

the beef and dairy podcast

he's a basic bitch - listens to it on the way to work/ college

refuses to argue about it, clearly his opinions are the only right ones

he will occasionally listen to a podcast on exy if it covers on of the foxes

Andrew

welcome to nightvale

he started listening in high-school and never stopped

like Aaron, he knows his opinions are the only right ones, but he will not hesitate to verbally decimate someone who disagrees

(yes it helped him accept his sexuality)

Kevin

tends to jump podcasts depending on his current obsession

also tends to listen to podcasts in random order, again according to what interests him most, but it annoys everyone around him

doesn't listen to fiction, mostly talk shows, exy players interviews, and history podcasts (Loves Revolutions, will pull out his socialist trousers at any time)

Nicky

listened to one (1) dnd podcast bc he thought it would draw him and Andrew together

normally listens to Crime Junkie and then calls Erik bc he can't sleep

loves the new watcher podcast, but will always be a buzzfeed unsolved fangirl at heart

(like Kevin, he jumps around but prefers to be caught up on a podcast beforehand)

Neil

he doesn't care for podcasts as a whole, but strangely he's the one who enjoys dnd podcasts

he found one (1) he liked his last year of college

binges them at the gym and on running days

he is SO picky, the vibes have to be just right or he will not listen

(he once dropped a podcast bc one of the players' characters 'gave him bad vibes')

Dan

bechdel cast fan all the way down

sometime she renee and allison will lie around in the dark with an episode playing

goes down the list in chronological order, until she catches up and then listens to each episode the day it drops

writes up a detailed review of each episode and posts it once she's finished

Allison

again a bechdel cast fan, listens to them with dan

on her own, she listens to Mabel

devoted fan, even when they dropped off the planet for YEARS, she stayed there listening to old episodes

absolutely overjoyed at the new episodes, she can't wait for them to meet

(shipping them may have tipped her off to her own bisexuality)

Renee

true crime/horror fan

not podcasts, but she goes down the strangest wormholes trying to find 'real paranormal experiences'

listens to slightly unreal podcasts like Alice isn't dead, welcome to nightvale (her and Andrews first bonding experience), and the magnus archives

she has so much lore on the undead, the fae, vampires - it's not even funny bc sometimes she points out people in cafes and goes 'he looks...' before allison shushes her

Matt

behind the bastards fan (sometimes he drives Kevin around while they both listen to Robert Evans smooth voice)

will punch a nazi despite the podcasts repeated pleas to fight them in more official ways

Renee introduced him to horror, but he prefers subtly unsettling to outright horror - he listens to 12:37, folxlore, and middle:below

he likes listening to mabel with Allison, but sometimes can't deal with the raw emotion

Seth

Didn't listen to podcasts

He couldn't process words by themselves, if there was a transcript sometimes he'd listen to a podcast at x1.5 speed

huge buzzfeed unsolved fan (not the supernatural ones, just the true crime ones)

pretty into american history, but not in a frat boy way, more like oh yeah the appalachias used to be covered by water there could be pirate ghosts there

fucking loved old gods of appalachia, but was too scared to listen to more than one episode a month

whats your make up routine like? what are your current favorite products?

Hey babe! I wear a lot of different makeup depending on the look im going for and change it up pretty frequently but lately Ive been using a lot of makeup forever products on my skin and just kinda testing out the makeup forever line. I find it matches really well, stays on and the formula is a nice texture (good coverage but doesnt feel thick).

When im going out or getting done up my makeup routine lately has been after shower spray toner on/mosturize my face.

-Step 1 prime: When i start my makeup i spray with a oil eliminating/mattifying priming spray then I appy primer just using my fingers (current primer: MAKE UP FOREVER smoothing skin equalizer - I LOVE IT)

-Step 2 foundaion: then i apply foundation usually with a beauty blender but occasionally with a brush ( current foundation: MAKE UP FOREVER ultra HD invisible cover foundation) and set the foundation with then MAKEUP FOREVER super matte loose powder.

-Step 3 concealer: sticking with the MAKEUP FOREVER THEME I currently have been using the MAKEUP FOREVER ULTRA HD concealer and i apply under my eyes and in towards my nose, middle of my nose, smile lines at forhead between eyebrows. I dab it in with na beauty blender and then set the concealer and let it bake while i do my brows (KatVon D lock it setting power)

-Step 4 brows: I use darkesrt shade of the Benefit brow tame and shape kit (i always use this kit and have used it forever, i highly reccomend)

-Step 5 countour/bronze: Once Im done my brows i brush of the excess setting power on my concealer and start my contour, i line under my cheekbones, jawline, under lip nose and forehead with the Anastaia by Beverly Hills stick foundation in walnut. Then I blend that and create extra depth with the Anastaia by Beverly Hills powder contour pallette in medium. finally I finish blending by bronzing my entire face with the HOOLA by benefit bronzer to even it all out.

-Step 6 blush and highlight: I then highlight with the Anastaia by Beverly Hills glow kit - I use the SUGAR one and generally use the shade gumdrop. Then i blush my cheeks with DAINTY by mac blush.

- Step 7 eyes: My go to eyeshadow is the tartlette in bloom pallette by tarte and i generally use funny girl just under my brow line and in the inner corners of my eyes, then i use rebel to blend in my crease and above and below the crease, then leader more concentrated in the crease and in the outer corners of my eye, then go over my lid with firecracker and finish with a fine layer of activist in the crease. occaisionally do eyeliner then apply my mascara and lashes.

-Step 8: lips - always overline and have a lipstick obsession so change that every time!!

Function of Beauty - I know this might seem gimmicky to some, I certainly thought so myself but I followed it for a bit and kept up with reviews. I dont make “resolutions” since I always think theyre super cheesy and lame. BUT since Id face some hardships over the last few years I thought Id...make one to start taking better care of myself. I frequently dye my hair so it’s really been quite damaged and most shampoos, even salon level many were not meeting all 5 of the things I need, just rather focuses on just the one thing. >[ I took the leap and got a smol set and it took a week or so to get to me which was fine. Ofc I got pink but I did give this a shot and I LOVE IT. I use very little to cover a lot of hair (its v long) and my hair felt AMAZING. I also follow wash once a week regimen to keep the color in a bit longer...and it was v soft, healthy, not oily for once and kept the scent even! I am VERY happy with these, I will be buying more in the future. { My Picture } $ Is varying, depends on what you’re getting. Worth it? Yes.

My BKR - Another thing I was following and stalking for quite some time. Checking out the reviews and considering my resolution. Ive always been actively trying to drink my 8 cups of water a day. They are a bit on the pricier side but not only are they cute AS FUCK, but they ARE glass and much more environmentally friendly. No icky BPA and constantly recycling plastic bottles. Also, no irritating crunching of plastic bottles! I am ALWAYS reaching for this, I take it everywhere with me. I’m glad I jumped on this train honestly. { My Picture } $28 Worth it? Yes.

Burts Bees Peach+Willowbark Wipes - I use the grapefruit ones normally to remove my makeup, and I love those very much. But sometimes I have extra tough makeup and I need a good exfoliation without doing a mask or facial cleanser. These are wonderful and they smell amazing too. $6 Worth it? Yes.

ELF Cosmetics Daily Brush Cleaner - UM WHAT THE HECK. This was UNEXPECTEDLY amazing. So amazing, I’m embarrassed I got to it LATE! This lil bottle, yes its little, but DOES WONDERFUL at cleaning my brushes! And it smells very fresh and clean - leaves my brushes almost immediately dry so if I wanted to use them a while later in the same day I definitely could. I was using a gel soap that left my brushes with no scent (which was fine) but too damp to re-use in the same day, I had to go use other brushes if I needed to do another look. Not with this lil bottle! Omg SO glad I got to it. $3 Worth it? Yes.

Loreal Infallible Pro Glow (208) - So admittedly I was late getting to this one too and watching a lot of people use it and hearing such positive things I decided I’d give this a shot rather than running to ulta and grabbing another Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation. Turns out, I’m super diggin’ on this. Easy to apply, easy to blend, easy to clean off my face and brushes. Despite the “glow” on the title, it will matte down which I like. They do have a matte version of this that I will try when I’m done with this for comparison’s sake but for now this is getting the job. $12 Worth it? Yes.

Lush Cosmetics Cupcake - Welp. Idek what to say about my obsession with Lush. I’m a hoe for Lush. Esp when free hah. Forever I was saying, and still am, that I was trying to steer away from products that were not self preserving but its free so why would I bitch? I knew its a damn good product, its always sold out and Ive heard and read all the reviews. So now, because I got 2, my boyfriends sister and I now have mask+tea nights. We have tried this mask twice and have discovered it is indeed everything everyone has hyped it up to be. We’re soft, exfoliated and smellin’ like chocolate. Only downside: our dog thought we were strangers and barked at us lmao. It is messy applying and while drying it flakes a bit - no biggie tho. $10 Worth it? Yes.

Lush Cosmetics Prince Charming - ITS PINK. OK. ITS PINK. Thats one of the biggest reasons why I got this. BECAUSE PINK. I love pink and its soap and it smells fresh and clean. Turns out, I love it like I knew I would. It is LE though, AFAIK so go grab it before its gone. P sure its a Valentines thing like some of their bath bombs. $10 - $35 Worth it? Yes.

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm - Like Lush, I am a hoe for lip balms and butters. I have many, and cant stop. I love the aesthetic of this product as well as the scent (like cake!). Its application is smooth and definitely helped my poor lips overnight while I slept. I tend to wear these types of products most when I’m sleeping since I’m not eating or drinking things in my sleep so it does the most when its left alone. I generally wake up with nice fresh and healthy non-chapped or cracked lips. Its a p nice way to start the day honestly. $18 Worth it? Yes

Lush Cosmetics Rub Rub Rub - I got a sample of this recently and I actually REALLY love it. I don’t use this in the shower, but normally once or twice a day if I do both my face cleanser and my nightly mask. It makes my hands sooooo silky smooth I’m obsessed. I will absolutely get a pot of this! $22 Worth it? Yes.

Lush Cosmetics Rock Star Soap - Another sample piece that I had originally put aside to try at a later date, I decided I’d just try it and get it out of the way. Well, I accidentally fell in love with it. It smells amazing and makes my skin super soft, you know, like soap lol. $7.95 Worth it? Yes.

ELF Cosmetics Pink Diamonds Highlighter - Alright. Idk where this got effed up. I got this product because many people said it was amazing, including one of my faves, Jeffree Star. (FFS it won against a really expensive highlighter!!!) But when I tried it, it wasnt shit. Nothing! I tried with my fingers and 2 brushes! NOTHING!! Im ok with it being $4 so its not that big of a loss but like ??? Im let down lmao $4 Worth it? No.
