i'm so happy you've succumbed to the eddie hype i'm obsessed with him it's not even funny anymore

He's such a fun character ! I also really really loved the way they took his character and the overall themes this season, focusing on how he's a direct victim of the satanic panic of the eighties (to the point where he's based off of one of the Memphis three)

#ask #asks #idk why but also like learning about the satanic panic is also. p interesting idk why #like looking at it through a modern lense it sounds ridiculous but no people did think dnd was devil worship #and if you played certain rock songs backwards it would say hail satan #and the focus on the mob mentality in this season was really interesting because it shows how susceptable you can be to things and even #those with good intentions can do horrible things in the power of numbers #i have some feelings on eddies ending that i would LOVE to ramble if you want to hear them #i enjoyed the main focus on that crew more than anything #the split story lines didn't work well this season tot he poitn where i began to skip through elevens storyline cause it was getting boring #somebody prod me into talking about eddies ending i have so many feelings
