Fatal flaws of spirit keeping and spirit companionship that are on my mind tonight:
-Trying to make a living off of a practice that is very finite in terms of how far a client base can reasonably go
-Lack of client vetting leading to poor feedback on the hired practitioner's work
-How capitalistic it really ends up being and what that means for quality of work
-The devastating lack of education outside social media, spirit keeping communities and new age horse shite as a whole for most of the individuals in this community
-Piss poor spiritual engagement with their practices and the spirits
-Failure to use scientific methods to discern legitimacy of a supposed conjure. (Example: getting consistent signs and readings)
-The drama and mind breaking lack of maturity. I mean, it really is amazing that grown humans in their twenties think it's healthy and okay to behave like backstabbing, gossiping little middle schoolers. The amount of pettiness and grudge holding in this group of people is a large part of how good people have been run out of here.
This is obviously just me, a mere bird, screaming into the void. However, I believe that addressing these issues and creating a dialogue are the only ways to start breaking down the issues and making lasting changes.

Its hilarious that Chilchuck is just dying to know what Senshi's deal is
But absolutely refuses to give a single crumb of personal information in exchange

I tried the ala carte 9-pcs Spicy Chicken McNuggets (S$7.80) from McDonald’s Singapore last week. These fried chicken nuggets are zinged up with cayenne pepper and chilli powder, so you get a subtle kick of heat. Dipping them into the curry sauce make them even nicer. Like the above burgers, this one is also available for a limited time only, so hurry, go try them before they are taken off the menu.
Mum had the Extra Value Meal of Filet-O-Fish (S$5.50) with the default medium French fries and a small drink. Actually, she only wanted the burger itself but I got her the set meal as it is more worth the money.
The Yubari Melon soft serve is also back for a limited time. Bought the Yubari Melon Cone (S$1.20) and eat it as I made my way to the supermarket at the basement level. The melon flavour is fragrant and the vanilla-based soft serve creamy though a tad sweet for me.
Mum said she craves some ice cream so I bought her back to McDonald’s and bought both the Yubari Melon Twist Cone and Yubari Melon Cone (S$1.20 each). I wouldn't normally buy the twist cone version but it is just for the camera. :D

Okay, so.
I fucking love tea, and especially preparing tea for people. I love that it can be as simple or as elaborate as you want to make it. I love how many different types of tea there are, and how many different ways of preparing and consuming it. I love the variety of snacks that different cultures enjoy with tea. And teaware. God I love teaware.
I love that even when friends live too far away for me to actually make them tea, I can still send them new tea experiences.
I love the way people open up over a cup of tea. The ritual of it provides enough to do with one's hands and eyes to make it easier to talk about difficult subjects.
I love that the act of preparing tea can be both a performance and a form of meditation, and most of all an act of hospitality and love.

Random funny thought while at work. Inspired by and kind of a alternate ending for Salvage by @muffinlance if there was an additional ending that aligned kind of with canon events.
...................................
Aang takes away Ozai’s bending
Hakoda decides not to take any chances with a incarcerated Ozai and take some revenge at the same time.
Healer Kustaa: he died of his injuries
Zuko: What injuries?!! He was fine when he was locked in that cell and no one has visited him since!!
Healer Kustaa: he died of self inflicted injuries
Ozai’s guards who may or may not have been former sailors on the Wanyi saw and heard absolutely nothing they swear. Totally didn't see their Prince's water dad kill the former fire lord no sir did not see or hear nothing suspicious at all.
