Well, wouldn’t Error be older than Anti since Geno experienced multiple loops while Sans was from essentially a brand new timeline, so their age difference would be however long Geno was in the Save Screen, not accounting for how wonky time can be in the multiverse.
That be true but yknow error doesn't remember that

Hi! Just wanted to say that I believe your theories about ST are super interesting! And it sucks that people are going after you for them! The stuff about weird timelines and ages being wonky especially when it comes to Neil’s casting are interesting. Like I personally don’t believe she’s being casted as Holly either. Idk who she could be whether she’s a Alice from another timeline, maybe she’s part of a mindscape or someone else entirely (I also saw something about her being Jane, I think it might’ve been you too???, which is so fascinating too! The idea of El not really being Jane! It’s always been something I was thinking about especially with the drastic hair color between the two- and Terry’s response to her too-) Also, it makes me wonder if the “the vanishing of [Blank] Wheeler” is going to involve some timeline shenanigans- anyways sorry I’m rambling. I have been in and out of the fandom, mostly looking through tags and stuff but I always found anything related to the Edward Creel theory pipeline to be interesting.
Hi!!
Thanks, haha, it's like...they hated Jesus because he told him the truth dot jpg, yknow? But hell yea brother (gender neutral) glad to hear I'm not totally insane for not assuming she's Holly! It's all just a little to weird, and also a little too easy/simple.
But yes! That was me saying Nell might be Jane!! and yeah it's insane to me that that theory isn't more widespread given the glaring differences between the two girls.
I wouldn't be surprised if there are time shenanigans involved...or if the titles aren't even accurate at all! Like sure it absolutely could be Holly...or it could be about Karen and her backstory! Maybe she went missing as a kid, considering her weird Creel connections. Or it could be Mike, or Nancy, or even Ted. There are 5 Wheelers to choose from! Why limit ourselves to only theorizing about Holly?
I'm glad you've been enjoying timeline theory, it's been such a ride...but things are coming to fruition with each leak we get >:)

Actually the reason why Program: Polycule is funny is bc all of them caused at least 1 of each other's downfalls in some way or are associated with a downfall in some way. Lionel (probably) ruined Carla's career. Carla's clown inevitably plays a part in Lionel and Luke's deaths. Lionel's grandpa is technically part of the reason why Luke and Kaycee are dead. Kaycee burying Inscryption + having coordinates killed Luke in the end. I'm just now realizing that Luke's kinda got the short end of the stick here huh. But also he's done nothing wrong as far as we're aware, so like
#and also if lionel was less shitty then miss clown couldnt have been able to kill luke in the first place#well probably for like. several different factors really#rip to luke tho#but hey this'll be funny to have in the fic#scov.txt#im not tagging this but anyone who actively reads my posts know who/what im talking abt#and also technically speaking it's not outta the question to say it#i accidentally hit enter. anyways its possible that kaycee died after lionel and that miss clown ALSO killed kaycee#the timeline's wonky so yknow#i mean fic wise luke is technically involved with the four of em being in the game world if that counts for anything

So.... What the fuck! ( Any thoughts? VLR is wild )
if i put the Junpei what the hell compilation here does that count as an answer
ok i do actually have thoughts yes. so many thoughts. might take me a sec to form words out of em bc of the sheer.. something. whatever just happened and im also lowkey sleep deprived rn i have shrimp emotions and i also cant feel anything
hmm ok one of the things i wanted to mention was that earlier i almost thought Quark couldve been some kinda abondoned Left clone but they have different eye colors so thats crossed off the list. that Does make it kinda weird that Quark mentions freeing his soul during that one scene, but i guess we're supposed to assume he just picked it up from somewhere? like he heard abt it on earth at some point? i doubt Dio wouldve said anything to him abt it in the pod, and even then i dont think hed quote him during That if he did. but how well known were the Myrmidons for him to hear that?? or was it from Junpei/what Junpei was talking abt when he said he was involved during the mars expiriment thing??? idk i just thought that was a weird connection that they didnt directly address.. i think. i couldve missed smth there
im not even gonna try to understand the entirety of the time jumping stuff when it comes to switching bodies and all that. youd think id be prepared for this kinda thing considering all the stuff ive played so far! i am not. looking at the picture they used to show how Sigma's been jumping all over the place legit gave me motivation to do my homework bc that would be easier to comprehend
on that note im like. how do i put this. i was actually super interested in where all this stuff was going for a long while bc the ideas being used were cool even if the execution was a lil wonky. like im so down for time shenanigins (with memory fuckery!! come on!!) and clones and humanlike robots and a lot of other stuff they had going on. i actually like what they were doing when they expanded the morphogenetic field stuff, although i Do wanna think of that as completely seperate from how it is in 999 bc of the retconned stuff :/ other than that what they had going on was pretty cool but. the ending just. i ,,, i dont even know the way it all came together feels so weird???? like it technically makes sense and i get what they were going for. its. ???? i wanna say what im looking for is "anticlimactic" but idk if thats right. its just..... Weird.
however i also wanna say that i am at least glad they touched on the different views of people being stuck in the "worse" timeline? Junpei being glad to have Quark despite everything while Clover and Alice have to deal with leaving behind half a century along with their friends and family. even tho they just kinda went jk lol at that part immediately afterwards???????? but whatever i guess
the characters in general were pretty fun tbh? not quite as real-feeling as 999 but still enough to be enjoyable. it was nice seeing Junpei reference a bunch of stuff from 999 and retain some pieces of himself all these years later, especially when he quoted Light ("fake, a replica, not the real thing...") its horrifying to think abt all hes been thru at this point tho ,,, Clover seemed a lot more outgoing than before but a year can change u so i cant say much abt that, it was cool to see her again regardless. Alice is an interesting one and i liked her even if she was kind of frustrating to go against in the AB games lmao. Luna has lowkey been one of my favorites thru the whole thing but i had a hard time fully trusting her for so long bc of how suspiciously innocent she was lol which wasnt entirely baseless either but yknow. Dio is admittedly funny and ridiculously good at acting like hes a normal person its actually scary. also whered he hide the bombs before planting them bc they didnt seem That small. anyway uhh Quark is a funny little guy and its nice that he straight up doesnt die (usually?? i cant remember if theres a route where he does. other than the bombs) and!!! i actually really enjoyed Kyle. no idea why. wish he didnt abandon me so many times but it fuckin be like that i guess. accidental revenge for absent fatherism. and.. Sigma. when u said u do not like him i think im with u now. not necessarily strong feelings but. yeah. but PHI.. god i wish they actually said where she came from shes just HERE and they never fuckin elaborated man who is she. she is so cool tho i love when she goes on her tangents abt stuff <3
AL OF THAT SAID u were very right when u said the puzzles in this game are fun. even tho i had to check a guide a few times bc i was genuinely clueless for some of em (u have no idea how stumped i got in the darts part of the white room puzzle. i should never do mental math this late i cant live that one down) theyre mostly really good and i did enjoy those sections especially
#OH AND I FOUND OUT PART OF WHY VLR FELT SO WEIRD AFTER PLAYING 999. its the lack of prose#anddd this is all i can come up with atm i gotta sleep like Right Now#im starting to see things xkbskcbs#man. im gonna have some weird dreams after this#might watch ztd later. just to see how much worse things can get supposedly#zero escape#ask#mortellanarts

Dare I ask: the LS prequels?
Ahhh yes. Those monsters lmfao.
Okay. So Placebo Effect, I believe was split into four.
1- the one that's posted and introduced Dylan and the dynamic at the shirogane household.
2- seeing the fighting get bigger, seeing him get more involved in dance, realizing Dylan was already going after someone else, the fight that gets Shiro his nose scar which is when Keith starts to get closer to him, finding Karina, and the adoption offer from the Shiroganes that he rejects.
3- Starting in college, meeting, befriending, and falling for Roland. Also around the time Shiro meets Adam (I believe? My timeline might be skewed and this might have gone in part 2) and Keith doesn't like him because he just started having a steady, good relationship with his brother and now some four-eyed motherfucker is messing it up but whatever, Shiro's happy so fine. Also, this is when it details what his relationship with Roland was like. I wanted to paint it out to be really nice and awkward and cute, only tainted by times when they had to hide or when Roland got anxious about taking new steps because he wasn't ready. It would end when they break up and Roland insists he wasn't gay and Keith just confused him.
4- This would detail that time Keith tells Lance about when it seemed anyone who was interested in him wanted to hide him or saw him as a one night stand, when he struggled to enjoy dance with Roland still a part of it and taking the position of captain despite the fact that Keith had been there longer, and all the exhaustion that came from the self-deprecation Keith felt with everyone he slept with. It would end with him noticing eyes following him at a party and thinking here we go again, before he goes up to the dude who's at least pretty cute, and offers him a beer.
MEANWHILE Lance's prequel is a lot blurrier, but also broken into 4 parts.
1- this would start with Lance finding out about Allura's sickness, like freshman year as well. He's still writing at this time, so a lot of is spent making poems about his own emotions and things he wishes he could tell Allura. Again, my timeline is a little wonky, so bear with me here. This part would focus more on his pining and the friendship he has with Allura and Hunk and Pidge. It would go into sophomore year where he meets Kinkaid, the cool junior jock who's really nice and cool and it's kind of flattering that he thinks Lance is smart, but Lance just really wants to be like him lololol yknow
2- This one would time skip to senior year, during which I think is when Veronica is dating someone who everyone thinks is really cool until Lance notices bruises on her and finds out the truth. I think by this time Marco has also already had the twins which put its own strain on the family. This one would explore Lance's family more, plus show how he puts his emotions into his poetry and how he helps his sister. He would also go to his friends to vent when he feels useless, and its summer after senior year that he and Allura finally start dating, and I'd like to think it culminates from how patient he is with Allura and how he brings her snacks after hospital visits and how much he cares about his family, and how beautiful his words are.
3- This is freshman year of college, detailing his time at his college with Allura and how they visit Hunk and Pidge all the time, and just how the relationship is. Little tidbits of memories that were sprinkled into Lovesick, like braiding her hair, finding her post-it notes, reading together, etc. It would also highlight the uglier parts, like arguments they had if allura ever talked about what would happen after she was gone, or if she had a bad hospital day and Lance was trying too hard to be optimistic about it. This one would of course, end with her death. The beach day, the hospitalization, the sandwich, the crying, the blurriness through the funeral. The rest of sophomore year is blurry and weird and empty. He doesn't write anymore.
4- This would start at that first anniversary. When he's completely miserable. Hunk and Pidge want to help him feel better so they try taking him out during the summer, and he finally agrees at some point, and there he meets someone completely opposite of Allura. And she's flirting, and he's in pain, and he's numb and hollow, and he wants to feel something. So he sleeps with her, and he feels horrible, and he cries when she's gone and he doesn't tell Hunk or Pidge, and tries to write because he's finally feeling so much, but nothing comes out because it's all her and he can't see her without feeling horrible all over again. He tells his friends eventually. But he's feeling things again, so that's something. He meets another girl, gets too drunk, and the same thing happens. He swears he'll stop, because he feels like he's spitting on Allura's memory, and he believes it. Junior year starts and he meets Nyma in a group project and explains it very briefly to her. He just tells her how he doesn't think he'd meet anyone he could like in that way, how lonely it is, but how gross he feels if he indulges in the physicality of it. She proposes a deal. She's sick of scrolling Tinder, he wants to feel something without feeling like an asshole for not pursuing more with those girls, she wouldn't expect anything from it, he gets to not feel so lonely or so gross. They become friends with benefits, though Hunk and Pidge aren't sure it's a great idea. This one ends with hunk and pidge talking about a party that Lance doesn't wanna go to until they insist because they wanna get trashed and he can be their DD. They don't relent until Lance agrees, and he imagines it'll just be another boring night, and he can call Nyma whenever he gets back.

Calm & Conversations
A JSE Fanfic
Okay so my schedule for uploading fics may be a bit wonky for the next while. I’m not sure how to fit writing in with my classes this semester, so I’m just improvising as I go. But I’ve got this! It’s really just a bunch of scenes that need to happen before the next story, but it was nice to write again. We check in on Laurens and Schneep (yknow I’m just now realizing how big a deal the non-septic characters are to this story), Marvin tells Chase something important, there’s a flashback with JJ, and Anti is being a plotting dick as usual. Have fun guys dsjdfkdfjk
You can find the other stories under the pw timeline tag!
Laurens knocked on the office door, hearing a soft “come in” in response. She took a deep breath, and pushed the door open, stepping inside. It had been a while since she’d been inside. And now that Dr. Newson had been suspended as director of the hospital, she had to get a read on her replacement. But this wasn’t something she could just avoid, so she stepped inside.
“Ah, Rya, good to see you!” The woman sitting at the desk immediately stood up. “I heard you returned to Silver Hills, but I guess you’ve been too busy for me to see you.”
“Oh, hi Dr. Fells.” Laurens nodded, friendly. “Y-yeah, it’s been a while.”
“It has! And please, call me Becca.” Fells smiled cheerfully. “How have you been? Well, I suppose that’s a superfluous question. Your cast says as much.”
“Uh, yeah, it’s uh...been an ordeal.” Laurens adjusted her sling. “Anyway, I uh...I came in to ask for a day off. Actually, I need it off.”
“Oh, of course.” Fells rummaged around in the desk, pulling out a form and a pen. “You know, you could have filled out a request. We have it online now.”
“I know, but this is important, so I, um, didn’t want to risk it,” Laurens explained. “I have to, uh, testify. In court. On the thirty-first.”
“Oh dear, well then you’ll definitely need the whole day off,” Fells said, filling out the form. “But you should tell your patient, too.”
“Yeah, I was planning on it.” Laurens wasn’t sure how into detail she would go. After all, the court case was all about Newson and her abuse of power, which could be a sensitive topic for Schneep. She’d try to be vague. As that thought crossed her mind, it slowly dawned on her that she was more involved in this case than she’d ever been before. Perhaps that was a bad thing. But she couldn’t leave it now.
“Great.” Fells finished writing, and looked up to smile at Laurens. “If you need anything else, please let me know. I understand that Newson got too involved in your work, and I’d hate to be like that, but I’m here to help!”
“Thanks, Becca.” Laurens coughed awkwardly. “I’ll, uh...see you later. Bye.”
“Goodbye, Rya!”
With that done, Laurens headed down to Schneep’s room, as usual. And as usual, she met Oliver outside, made some small talk, and then went in.
Schneep was laying on his back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. When Laurens and Oliver walked in, he immediately grabbed the small contact mirror she’d given him yesterday, and checked their reflections in it. Seemingly satisfied, he sat up straight.
“Hi Schneep,” Laurens said, taking a seat. “How are you?”
“Well, I am fine, I suppose.” Schneep shrugged. “Nothing much has changed. Which is a good thing, I think.”
“Yes, I think it is.” She hesitated, then continued on. “So I have good news and bad news.”
Schneep immediately tensed. “Bad news?”
“Do you want that one first?”
“Well, it depends on what it is.”
“It’s not too bad, I think,” Laurens said. “I just won’t be able to have our session on the thirty-first.”
“Oh. Alright.” Schneep exhaled, clearly relieved. “And how far away is that?”
“Six days. You’re okay with this? Or would you rather have someone else substitute for me?”
“Ah, your substitutes never work,” Schneep dismissed. “The last one was an asshole.”
“Newson? Well...yeah,” Laurens admitted.
“Besides, we already talk with each other almost every day. It is fine.” Schneep shrugged. “What is the good news?”
“Ah, right.” Laurens smiled. “Well, we might be able to move you back to your old room! The one with less restrictions. And it’s possible that I may be able to get you any clothing that was confiscated.” She still didn’t understand why Newson did that. Well. actually, she did.
Schneep’s face lit up. “Oh, that would be wonderful! What changed?”
“Well, the new medication seems to be working,” Laurens said. “And you said last time that the techniques I suggested were helping, too. So I think I can convince our new director that you’re not a risk case. Or at least, not as much as your file has you marked as.”
Schneep winced. “I do remember doing some...questionable things when first arriving here.”
“It’s understandable, you were lashing out,” Laurens said reassuringly.
“Still...” Schneep wrapped his arms around himself. “I remember that one orderly who I hurt, and I feel...well, bad, of course, and because of that, I do worry.”
“Theresa has made a full recovery, don’t worry,” Laurens said. “And if you’d like, today we can work on some ways to manage anger and stress.”
“That sounds good, thank you.” Schneep nodded.
“Alright, we’ll start with that.”
——————
“This is weird.” Marvin shifts awkwardly on his seat, leaning onto the side of the hospital bed. “He’s just staring into nothing.”
“Hey, I thought you didn’t like eye contact anyway,” Chase pointed out, a smile pulling at his mouth.
“Well, yeah, but it’s weird when it’s Jack,” Marvin explained.
Marvin hadn’t had a chance to see Jack in a while. Or, actually, he’d just been forgetting to. So Chase had offered to bring him along on a visit, to make sure he did. Marvin had agreed, and now here they were, Chase in one chair at the side of the bed, Marvin in another on the opposite side.
“Is it wrong to say it’s kind of creepy?” Marvin asked reluctantly.
“What? Open eyes?”
“It’s not necessarily the open eyes, so much as it’s that he’s not moving at all other than that,” Marvin said. “I...wasn’t supposed to say that, was I? That was one of those things?”
“No, it’s fine, it makes sense,” Chase reassured him. “I get it.” He grabs one of Jack’s hands. “Y’know, he’s been moving a little bit recently. Sometimes he, like, squeezes your hand. He probably doesn’t mean to, but it’s nice. And it’s progress.”
“Involuntary twitching is progress?” Marvin asked.
“Yeah, cause he couldn’t move at all before.” Chase’s fingers ran across the back of Jack’s hand. He’d always been pale, but after being in the hospital for over a year, he was practically paper white. “I mean, it’s still pretty bad. He’s a seven on that scale I told you about.”
“Fast improvement, though, so that’s good.” Marvin adjusted his position, scooting the chair closer before leaning onto the bed again. “Do you think he can hear us?”
“I dunno,” Chase said, shrugging. “They always say people in comas might hear people, but that could be just a myth. Maybe we should ask someone who’s actually been in a coma and woke up.”
“Someone probably did a Reddit question like that.”
“Oh, for sure.”
They fell silent for a moment. Marvin traced the line on the heart monitor with his eyes. “So...how have the kids been?”
“Pretty good, far as I can tell. They started reception in August, y’know.” Chase laughed a bit. “Y’know, I still think kindergarten is a better term.”
“Ah yes, the child garden.” Marvin chuckled a little as well. “Y’know you didn’t have to enroll them if you didn’t want to. I never went to reception, and I turned out fine.”
“Do they even have reception or kindergarten in Ireland?”
“...not exactly, but that’s besides the point. It’s more about the age, I’m trying to say I didn’t go to school until I was six. Grandmam always said I was too nervous to go.”
“Can’t imagine you being nervous,” Chase muttered. “Well, Sophie and Nick are ready. They can be wild kids, but at their age, who wouldn’t be? They’re still very good listeners. Nick has a good memory, and Sophie can, like, figure out puzzles pretty quickly. They’re fine.” He looked up at Marvin. “What about you? Anything interesting going on in your life?”
“Well, there’s still the case I told you about,” Marvin said.
“Oh yeah, that. Did you tell JJ about the hearing on Halloween?”
“Yeah.” Marvin’s expression fell. “It’s shitty timing, but I can still stop by his flat for birthday stuff after it’s all done. Or he can watch me on TV. Because apparently they’re gonna televise this, you hear that?”
“Whoa, really?” Chase asked, surprised.
“Yeah, apparently Schneep’s case is a big deal.” Marvin ran a hand through his hair. “I mean, we wouldn’t have known that. JJ didn’t know Schneep before, you hate watching the news, and I wasn’t even in the country.”
“We missed everything,” Chase agreed. Part of him still felt bad about that. Maybe it would’ve been reassuring to know Schneep didn’t exactly disappear. Or maybe it would’ve been worse, since by all accounts, it looked like Schneep was actually a serial killer. But Chase pushes aside these thoughts for now. He actually wanted to ask Marvin something, now that the subject came up. “So, uh, are you ready to tell us why you suddenly went to Ireland? If it’s okay?”
Marvin didn’t say anything for a while. He just continued running his fingers through his hair. After much too long, he took a deep breath. “Yeah, fine. I mean, JJ isn’t here, but I can tell him later. Or, actually...maybe it would be better to show you.”
“Show me?” Chase repeated. “What do you mean?”
Marcin sat up straight and grabbed the bottom of his shirt, pulling it up.
“Whoa, hey, dude! What if someone walks in?!” Chase leaned back.
“Just look.”
Though confused, Chase did so. But that only made him even more confused. “Are those...scars?”
There were three long, raised scars on Marvin’s torso, one on his chest and two on his stomach. Marvin quickly lowered his shirt again. “Yeah.” He folded his arms. “That’s why I left.”
“What?” Chase’s mind spun, working hard to come up with an explanation. “You got attacked or something? Why?”
Marvin took a deep breath, already looking tired. “Okay, so this is gonna be a long story. Y’know the boutique I worked for?”
“Yeah.”
“So I found out that place wasn’t exactly what it seemed.” Marvin hesitated, then blurted it out. “It was actually a front for an underground crime ring.”
Chase’s first impulse was to laugh. He tried to bite it back, but a quiet snrk escaped.
“What? It’s the truth,” Marvin said defensively.
“No, I’m not saying it’s not,” Chase hurried to say. “Not saying you’re lying. It’s just...you said it so straight, and it sounds so absurd.”
“Y’know what sounds absurd? The fact that Schneep and Jackie got kidnapped by a serial killer who turned out to be the brother of a guy we met just a few months later.”
“Fair point.” Chase coughed into his elbow to get rid of any leftover laughter. “Anyway, how do you know that? Or is this just a theory?”
“A gaaaame theory,” Marvin said.
“Dude, c’mon.”
“Sorry, habit.” Marvin paused, gathering his thoughts. “Well, I worked there for a while before I figured it out. I’m guessing that some of the staff was in on it, but not all of them. But things started seeming weird after a while, compared to other jobs I’ve had. Odd hours. Shifty management. And some customers would ask for something very specific that we didn’t actually stock, and when I brought it up to my manager, they always said they’d handle it personally. So I got suspicious, and I started investigating.”
“Marv, you could’ve asked Jackie for help,” Chase said, shaking his head. “He’s literally a private investigator.”
“Okay, yeah, but this was after he disappeared,” Marvin explained.”So I had to do it on my own. Besides, I might not have asked anyway, he’s a bit, uh...” He flapped his hand in the air, looking for the words. “Surprisingly a goody-two-shoes about it. But the point is, I did it myself. And when I snooped into a new shipment we just received, I found a hidden compartment with some guns inside.”
“Oh, jeez.” Chase’s eyes widened.
“Yeah, exactly.” Marvin nodded. “I left quickly, but as luck would have it, I ran into one of the management coming out of the back room. I guess they must’ve figured out what I saw, because a lot of people were acting really weird around me after that.” Marvin exhaled deeply. “And so, when I was walking home one night, this guy ambushed me and stabbed me.”
“Dude, holy shit!” Chase gasped.
“Imagine how I felt!” Marvin shouted. “I got fucking stabbed! I thought I was gonna die in the middle of the fucking street!” He pressed his hand to his chest, right over the scar, as he took control of his breathing. I was so fucking scared, he signed shakily.
“God, Marvin, I’m so sorry,” Chase said softly.
Marvin smiled a bit. Well, thanks. Obviously, I didn’t die, but I’m pretty sure that’s just because of luck. I went into shock for a bit, and the guy stabbing me probably thought I was losing consciousness and left. I was bleeding a lot, I’m not sure how I managed to stand up. But I did, and I walked all the way home.
“Bro, call an ambulance!”
I would’ve, but I thought that if people saw an ambulance in the area they would figure I survived, and try again. So I walked home, used all the bandages from that emergency super-thorough medical kit Schneep gave me, and passed out immediately after that. I woke up the next morning, still all dizzy, and knew I had to leave.
“Oh my god...” Chase could only shake his head. “I’m guessing you didn’t tell us because you didn’t want us involved in this?”
Marvin nodded. “Yeah...I mean, I didn’t even really want to be involved, I just wanted to find out what was happening. Guess I didn’t think that far ahead.”
Chase laughed a bit, but it quickly faded. “So...you’re back now ‘cause you think it’s over?”
“Yeah, I guess.” Marvin shrugged. “I mean, I couldn’t stay with my grandma forever. I’m pretty sure the people who tried to kill me all think I’m dead. But still. I’m a bit nervous about getting another job.”
“Hey, understandable. But I’m sure it’ll be—” Chase gasped.
“What?” Marvin asked, slightly alarmed.
“Nothing, he just—just squeezed my hand.” Chase looked down at Jack. Of course, Jack still wasn’t looking at him. He knew the squeezing probably wasn’t intentional, but he couldn’t help from assigning meaning to it. “Maybe he wants to reassure you.”
“Maybe. Well, thanks, Jack.” Marvin patted Jack’s other hand. “Wonder what you’d think of all of this.”
“Well, we can ask him when he wakes up,” Chase said, putting a cheerful note in his voice. “He’d probably be like ‘what the fuck? Why am I friends with you crazy people?’”
Marvin laughed. “Ah, we love you, Jack. Even JJ likes you, even though you’ve never met. We’ve told him so many good things.”
Chase nodded, falling quiet. Things were insane lately, but at least there was the silver lining of Jack getting better. Hopefully, everything else would also improve with time.

Jameson opened the curtains and peered out his living room window. His eyes scanned the street below, but saw nothing. Still not satisfied, he pulled them shut.
There hadn’t been any sign of that stalker he’d seen a few days ago, but he wasn’t about to take any chances. He’d explained the situation to his boss, Mr. Patterson, and he’d let him take the week off for safety. So JJ had spent all his time in his apartment, reading and playing a lot of Minecraft. He knew this couldn’t last forever. But maybe it could last until his birthday.
Speaking of which...JJ checked his text messages really quick. The most recent exchange was with Marvin, where he explained the whole deal with the court case. It was good that this would be finished, but JJ couldn’t lie, he’d been looking forward to a birthday get-together with Marvin and Chase. Nothing too big, of course, but he was expecting both of them to be there at the same time. Unfortunately, that would now be impossible. The court case was going to last all day, so Marvin was only available in the evening. But then Chase couldn’t be there, since he was doing Halloween things with his kids at that time.
JJ sighed, and closed his messages. Well, even if the two of them came over at different times, they could have some fun. JJ headed over to the kitchen to make some tea, trying to come up with activities they could do together.
He’d never had friends over for a birthday before. Well, when he was a kid he would invite his classmates over a couple times. But not many responded, and even as a kid, he felt like the ones who did were only doing so out of pity for “the weird boy who couldn’t talk right.” Not to mention that a couple foster families wouldn’t actually let anyone come over.
Actually, when was the last time he’d spent his birthday with someone? It must have been a while...
——————
“No, absolutely not.”
Are you serious?! Jameson signed angrily. It’s just an amusement park! We’ve gone to plenty before!
Aneirin didn’t even turn to look at him as he spoke, focusing on cleaning the dishes from dinner. Jameson was on his blind side, staring at the glass eye. “Yes, but we’ve always gone together. I wouldn’t mind that, but I can’t go tonight. I’m...busy.”
Jameson wasn’t sure he wanted to know what ‘busy’ meant. Judging from the ‘business’ JJ had been involved in in the past, it would probably end up with a dead body and cash changing hands. The thought made him sick, so he moved on. I’m not eight years old, Aneirin, I’m turning twenty-two. I don’t need your permission.
“Well...you sort of do,” Anti said slowly, only glancing at Jameson long enough to take in the signs. “Or at least, you need me to drive you, which I won’t.”
I wouldn’t need you to drive me if I knew how to drive.
“Well, you’ve never really shown any interest, you know?”
Jameson growled. It was no use arguing that of course he’d shown interest, it was Anti who never showed any interest in teaching or paying for lessons. No use in saying any of that, Anti would just ignore it or twist it back on him. Can you give me bus money, then?
“What? No! You’re not taking the bus all the way out of town. Anything could happen.” Aneirin turned off the sink water and picked up a towel, wiping down the plates. “Especially with things being...the way they are lately.”
The way they are? JJ repeated, confused.
“Things on my end,” Anti says cryptically. “You could get hurt. I don’t want you out where it’s dangerous.”
Of course. Aneirin was always concerned about danger. Jameson was never sure if that danger was real or just an excuse, but the possibility of it being real was enough to make him back off...usually. What if I called a friend to come with me to the park?
Anti immediately looked over at him. “What friend? Where’d you meet someone?”
It’s a hypothetical question, JJ signed, reluctant to admit he didn’t really know anyone despite living in the area for six years. He supposed that was what happened when you didn’t have a job to meet people and your older brother was a mercenary who’d scare off anyone you met by chance. What if I did that?
“But...but I’ll be away all night,” Aneirin stammered, suddenly hurt. “Would you really want to celebrate without...no, that’s selfish, I know it.” He laughed. “I guess I just expected family to stick together for birthdays. I mean, I always clear my day up for you, which isn’t easy.”
But you didn’t clear your schedule for my day, Jameson signed, expression blank.
“I did! But this is an emergency. I’ll be here until nightfall, and I got a cake and everything so we could have dessert together.” Aneirin smiled softly. “We can go to the park tomorrow, or the day after. For now, I...I got you a present. I mean, that’s what you’re supposed to do, but...” He looked down. “Well...nevermind. I guess I couldn’t stop you if you wanted to leave right now.”
After a long pause, JJ sighed. Anti really was too good at this. And it wasn’t like he could sneak out and go there on his own, anyway. First, he didn’t know where Anti kept the cash or his credit card, and second, Anti had installed security cameras around the house a few months ago, making that impossible even if Jameson could find bus money. Alright, I suppose we could go there some other time, he signed.
Aneirin’s expression lit up. He leaped forward and wrapped Jameson in a tight hug. “Oh, thank you, Jamie. You’re so sweet. I love you.”
Jameson pulled back a bit. Love you, too, he signed.
“Oh, c’mon, you can’t say it?” Aneirin ruffled JJ’s hair, ignoring the way he immediately fixed it. “I think something like that needs to be said.”
A pit of dread opened up in Jameson’s stomach, but he knew he had to go through with it, or Anti would keep bugging him until he did. “Luh...luhf y-oo. Annn.”
“There we are. Now, how about I go get that cake?”
——————
JJ snapped out of the memory with a shudder. It had been a while. And he’d been glad of that at first. But then he met Chase, Marvin, and Jackie, and realized that quality time wasn’t supposed to be difficult and end with him always giving up what he wanted. Well, he was still working on that. It made up a lot of his discussions with his therapist.
But that wasn’t the point. The point was that he was actually looking forward to his birthday, for once. He was sure it would be fun, even if he met up with Chase and Marvin separately instead of together.
He realized that he’d been standing there, spacing out, for a while, and the water for his tea was already boiling. He hurried to take the kettle off, and busied himself with the next steps. It was only a few days until his birthday. Things would be alright.
——————
Jackie was asleep. Anti could see him from where he was standing in the bedroom doorway. Idly, he recognized that being in that position for so long was probably doing some damage to Jackie’s body, but he didn’t care enough to move him somewhere else. It wasn’t like there was that much room in the apartment anyway.
Of course, that would start to be a problem when more people started to join him. Anti was already working on getting a second safe house, but it might take a few more days.
He slowly closed the bedroom door, leaving it open just a crack. There wasn’t that much in the room, just a bed, a dresser, and a desk with a chair. Anti sat down, and picked up his phone from where he’d left it on the desk. He flipped through the photos he’d taken a few days ago. The address of Jameson’s apartment building was clearly visible. He hadn’t been back there since that day. It wouldn’t do to be spotted, and therefore put JJ or others on their guard. No, they had to lower their defenses. And when the time was right, Anti would swoop in. He was already developing a plan.
His phone vibrated, and a notification appeared at the top. Looked like someone had a job offering for him. Anti clicked on it, reading quickly through the proposal. It wasn’t anything special. Just a target he didn’t know, without any special qualifications. Someone just wanted someone else dead and didn’t want to do it themselves.
“Think over it,” he decided, switching off his phone. There wasn’t a rush.
So, while he was here...Anti glanced over at the small turquoise notebook on the corner of the desk. After a bit, he picked it up and started scanning the handwritten pages. Always fascinating to read a professional’s take on someone’s mind. Though the analysis wasn’t the most important thing in the book.
Anti chuckled to himself, and flipped to the back. The keycard was still safely tucked close to the spine, in between the pages. Right where he left it. Right where he found it, when he’d decided to snatch the notebook from Marvin Maher’s house. And given the contents of the notebook, there could be only one door that this would unlock.
He glanced at a calendar hanging on the wall. It would happen soon. He just had to work out the wrinkles in his plan. Smiling to himself, Anti returned to his reading, silently plotting out the next few days.

Watched endgame lmao. warnings: salty
Generally speaking it felt much inferior to infinity war. I hadn't spoiled myself but like the time travel was p much what i was expecting i just didnt think it would be so drawn out?? Like it felt like those shenaningans basically took up the whole movie when i assumed it would be more of a means to an end thing? Idek.
I was hoping we'd get some loki by the end of it but :( it took me and my sister a while to realize oh wait he wasnt included in the people resurrected with the gauntlet right b u t he did escape in that other timeline so i guess pretty fucked up way to sorta concede that he is maybe probably alive but also kinda you know?? erase all of his character development post the first fucking avenger lmao this feels like doctor who bullshit all over again. I hate time travel.
I want to know why the russos hate thor so much. Like in infinity war they didnt retain any of his progress in ragnarok but at least it was pretty standard thor shenaningans but why was he selected to be comic relief this round. Like i thought bruce had gotten it bad in infinity war but god. The need to have him not only be pathetic for laughs but also heavily underline that it was his mental health declining making him act like that aND OPENLY MAKING FUN OF IT AND OF ITS MANIFESTATION. WOW?? I honestly can't begin to see how they could be so blatantly insensitive about it in such a big movie. And valkirye being like "and he drinks now :///" like HELLO?????? HELLLLLOOOOOO LMAO
More thor ranting. It was nice to see frigga but, again, her talk with thor really enforced the feel that ragnarok development never existed and also like. It was nice but. You know who else didn't get a single chance to say goodbye to frigga and never actually make peace with the passing of the only person who wholly accepted him?
He also didnt get an abundance of meaningful scenes really. So you know. Missed chance, maybe.
Anyway.
It was so dirty of them to kill nat. They didnt treat her right once, not a single time (winter soldier notwithstanding) so of course they had to end her arc the only possible way. by doing her dirty.
Like in a way?? I'm extremely emotional about clint and nat reunion + her literally giving her life in order for him to spend the rest of it with his family but i just phisically can't bring myself to ignore that they still preferred to kill a woman who, despite all the different flavours of questionable writing was at her core always!! a character whose heart was genuinely in a good place and who didn't get a single reward for her continuous efforts to make up for her past choices. nah she got to die so that Bad Man With Family could be happy. Like im not That mad but also like i can't not be yknow!! And still im so!! About the hand holding and forehead touching bc yes I AM GOING TO DIE MAD ABOUT THESE TWO AND WHAT IT COULD HAVE BEEN!!!!!!!!!!
Also Nebula. I was so excited the first half abt her bc it felt like she was getting to be part of the team but then THE MOVIE NEEDED HER TO BE FORGETTABLE ENOUGH TO THEM THAT THEY WOULD NOT NOTICE WEIRD BEHAVIOR + HER STAYING OUTSIDE?? WHILE THEY WERE USING THE GAUNTLET LIKE LMAO WHAT. And then bc they needed to wrap up no one got to say bye to gamora even tho she wasn't their version of her but still yknow with those people apparently being unable to be brought back you'd think it would warrant a lil emotional moment? Idek. The amount of this movie that was lost to silly gimmicks is more irritating the more i think abt it.
Lmao @ carol and okoye being in the promos for the woke points and then amounting to jack shit in the actual movie
They really did say fuck stevebucky rights uh. Idk what even to say about this just. Bucky never gets anything. Im wondering why only steve gets to have a chance at a normal life in his rightful time. Could it be bc maybe bucky didn't have anyone besides steve to go back to? /thinking emoji Too bad he wasn't as up high in steve's list of stuff then. I'm saltier abt this one than i originally realized :/
Ppl who are more eloquent than me can surely talk better about the time travel inconsistencies but yeah. A lot of it was glaringly wonky and up to wide range of interpretation which i guess is very convenient for them but to me ends up being kinda unsatisfying especially for like. The big final chapter.
and i gotta say i got really emotional when tony said i am iron man aaand through the whole death scene. I'm gonna blame my period for the tears but honestly?!?!?! I feel like the part of me who basically grew up with this franchise and put a lot of emotional investment in it just really went all out at seeing that. Like i was such a big iron man stan and even when that toned down a lot i always liked him till the end so!!! :'( but compared to natasha his death was a lot more fanservicy id say and like. Of course he'll get all the honors and stuff and it wasn't like totally unexpected or anything. I'm mad at myself for being emo about it but yeah couldnt help it anyway :(
but yeah im mostly meh about it unfortunately
#i already vague complained on twitter but i felt like articulating a bit too#endgame spoilers#useless posts

I love your OC Welkin can you,,, tell me about him in painstaking detail
aw im glad you do!! I love him a whole lot so id be glad to tell you all about him EDIT: THE READMORE IS GONE, WALL OF TEXT
Welkin Durnin is 21 years old, he’s a cancer, he’s 5′10″, is right handed, his birthday is June 24th, 1995… also he’s a natural redhead, and he likes cooking/gardening/being active! he’s got an older sister named Serena (horned lady) and he’s 2.5 years younger than her. He still has habits of being a pushover (especially when he was younger) but he’s making good progress on that. Oh, also, he has a phobia of deep water, and actually can’t really swim. He also really likes *Marina and the Diamonds and *The Smashing Pumpkins! Welkin can’t really sing but likes to sing whenever Derek does (Derek can sing, very nicely too) and they just have a Blast of A Time. Welkin is currently dating (married? engaged? who knows. not me. my timeline in my head for my ocs is very wonky, and I jump around a lot) Derek, his childhood Best Friend. you can tell this is in place because uh
(andddd that doesnt even include physical drawings/sketches/stuff I’m not comfortable posting) BUT YEA! uh they’re super close and have been friends since Welkin was 7. they’re that hyperactive, slightly annoying/feed off each others energy sorta friends yknow? Welkin likes reassurance more than anything, and Derek is surprisingly good at that. Welkin, not so much. He’s working on it. Welkin also has a lemon sweet tooth? im forgetting the word for it, but he really likes stuff thats lemon flavored. Drinks, candy, pastries, food, even nonedible stuff like cleaning products, if it has a lemony smell/taste, its his. Also, Welkin needs to exercise. I mean like, his idea of a good morning is waking up early and hiking up a mountain, then coming back for breakfast. Just doing activities that require movement is good to him, from jogging in a park to dancing in a club or something. Another reason why he joined the D.E.A (Demon Extermination Association) (((DOUBLE NOTE Im going to have to change that because while ive called that institute that he works for that name for like 9.5 months now, its no longer accurate))) he joined because 1.) He’s getting exercise 2.) He’s getting paid GOOD MONEY to do this 3.) Doing something that is “Right” (uncovering illegal underground shit with his group, in the Demon Forest) WHich leads me to say uh right now, Welkin is in a culinary .. arts..college? and because college is $$$, he’s working for the D.E.A to get money from THAT and pay for college/living expenses. So he’s like. studying food one day, and swinging his Sword of Justice the other. How he does it, we don’t know. Also hey, Welkin has sun bearer powers!
This means that from his hands, he can generate and create heat/physical light! They’re birthmarks on his hands (and for some people, like Welkin, feet!) the marks on the feet arent really activated, they’re just chillin. BUT anyways! These marks are on mainly the palms of the hands, and don’t actually activate until roughly ages 9-11. Welkin’s palms activated when he was 10, he lost in a soccer match and got so heated at this one kid that was being an asshole and uh he slapped him and gave him a 2nd degree burn on the kids cheek. The burns, when applied without much force, will create a light mark that looks like this
on the skin/object for roughly 5 hours to a day. With more applied pressure/force, the longer it lasts. As my friends have put it, “hickey hands”Also, those gloves that he wears are what harness the light/heat that comes from his hands. Without the gloves, they waft raw energy that can be a little tedious to deal with and makes Everyday Tasks very annoying. The gloves make it so he can do stuff without idk melting/burning/warming it to a gross temperature/etc. ALSO my dear sweet boy welkin was created when I was the tender age of 13 and thats why his gloves are fingerless and go past his elbows. I was obsessed with those kinda gloves back then. Also hey his eyes are also part of the whole, “sun bearer” thing .
(fun fact: in the beginning of his existence, I forgot whether his eyes where all yellow or all blue and so uh. why not both?) for sunbearers, having one blue and one yellow eye is very common, while all yellow/all blue was considered rare. In Them Olden Days, it was a custom that once Of Age, you’d rip out whichever eye you weren’t using and have only one eye. Imma explain that. the blue eyes are good for daytime hunting/etc while the yellow ones are good for nighttime hunting (They can see better in the dark w/ yellow and with blue vision is enhanced/sharper) so having both was considered kinda trippy and they were like “hey. lets make this easier on ourselves (”technically” easier. more painful? yes.) SO YEAH welkin has both colored eyes, and his dad has just yellow. also his dad is a sunbearer freckled redhead just like welkin. yeep. :) Im blanking right now on other main topics so imma just thrown more facts about this man. he fights with a sword and a dorky ass outfit in PUBLIC because he feels cool in it. He can use his gloves and his harnessed light/heat powers in his sword, making it glow and stuff. also he can technically use his hands as lanterns, not for a terrible amount of time though. Welkin also really likes to collects rocks from the demon forest, but the best ones are in the rivers/lakes that he, sadly, cannot swim for. However, he just makes Setoph do it because 1.) Setoph is a natural good swimmer and 2.) Setoph can extract the magic properties from the rocks and use them for HIS own benefit and just give Welkin the now “dud” rock, that welkin just wants for that purpose, to Have a Rock. Im sure im forgetting more but im tired and im gonna sleep, i promise i have PLENTY of stuf about welkin, but this is just the general gist of things. hope u have a great nite. thank u for sending this ask, as I love talking about my sunshine boy. gnite
**I just realized that since I put my ocs in technically “another world” ill have to make it “another world but marina and smashing pumpkins Also Exist

And my personal life is batty. Working through buying a house is really fuckin’ stressful, period, plus all the weightiness of dread that comes with it bc what if when I put all my savings into this and I put down those roots - if I regret it later yknow. And I got broken up with /because/ I decided to buy a house (which makes sense ok bc long distance, but I’m a romantic and it blindsided me bc I was just ready to wait forever for us to find a way to be physically together, and I’d assumed we were on the same page about it I just didn’t expect it at all??). so its sorta thrown my entire world upside down; even before we started dating we talked for months and months and knew each other for two+ years. Now it’s all gone and awkward and made me practically ditch twitter bc I can’t look at my timeline anymore bc I have to get over her for both our sakes. So my social media life has been wonky which is hard bc it’s the only social life I have. I’m just Struggling all over about being single again and I fucking miss her so much I can’t think straight
point being: typically I use the personal life to get away from work when it’s stressful. And work can SOMETIMES be a good distraction from the personal life. BUT NOW THEYRE BOTH SO DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH so no wonder I’m having depression symptoms like whoa. But Im so unmotivated about everything that I won’t even look for a therapist. Plus anxiety about calling an office. Like. Not gonna happen. I’m a useless bag of shit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Ugh. I just want things to be normal again. I feel so not like myself. There are moments when I glean something peaceful or a Wholly Decent mood, but it’s just a break in the clouds that lasts a whole 27 seconds
