thinking about what could happen after this whole arc is done. when forever is more or less stabilized and richas is (HOPEFULLY. IM SIDE EYEING THE PICTURE FOREVERS CHANNEL POSTED ON TWITTER) back, a forever who is afraid of himself so much that he decides to step away so he can't hurt anyone else. a richarlyson who is so confused about forever doing that- he was the parent that was the most present for him, the one who took care of him the most, a kind father who always played with him, but who wasn't afraid to be like a mother. they had been spending less time together, but why the sudden change? what happened to his dad forever? and forever keeps pushing and pushing away because he cant trust himself. he cant trust himself to control himself anymore and not hurt the co-parents, not hurt richarlyson. and that results in a richas that keeps on growing and growing without him. to the point where forever's love for his son seems like a far off memory for richarlyson. and he grows resentful but the good memories of his first months can't make him as resentful as he feels he should be. he would still take a bullet for dad forever. and forever, despite everything, would still take a bullet for richarlyson. he steps away out of love and he will always love his son. they were father and kid and they spent so much time together but now they are strangers to each other - richas has just grown so much by now and forever is so isolated that they cant recognize each other because they are not the same people they were at the beginning. they are strangers to each other but they would take bullets and travel across the world but they would never admit it because richas has a certain amount of resentment and forever resents himself and that stays in the back of their throat. they look at each other and they see a mirror that reflects an idealized past that none of them were ever prepared to have to let go - and they never really did. they are close like stars seem to be in the sky but so apart in the galaxy. in what feels like a completely diferent life richas was the sunshine of his lifetime and he had to step away just like icarus who flew too close to the sun.

it is utterly miserable for a mediocre show to have a really good plot or make god tier parallels or connections because you're like well this show isn't good and the writing is flimsy and there are so many holes and bland storylines, but they paralleled the season finale to an earlier season finale and then made the weight of that decision foundational to the next season so now my every waking thought is consumed by it

#liveblogging: supernatural #i'm shaking and trembling as the horrors consume me #season 9 was so lacking for it to have been so significant and insane #sam's CHOICE he CHOSE dean. he CHOSE codependency. he CHOSE love for his brother above ALL ELSE #and then season 10 kicks off with all of that CRASHING DOWN AROUND HIM #1. he can't save his brother 2. his brother hates him 3. he's having all his shortcomings thrown in his face #he gave up EVERYTHING for dean in the s9 finale. and then dean TURNS INTO A DEMON #this show is not good. the writing isn't good. technically speaking. there are so many plot holes. senseless retcons. underexplored ideas #it's flimsy and weak and poorly paced and developed #and then they throw THIS SHIT into it #like WHAT am i supposed to do. WHAT am i supposed to feel #season 9 sucked but it changed the trajectory of my life forever. HOW do i cope with that #i wish demon dean would kill ME with a hammer so i didn't have to sit here and stew in my feelings. over this season 8-10 insanity #supernatural goes TOO HARD for having such mediocre writing. i'm going to light myself on fire #.txt
