So at first I didn't know what to talk about and then three things came to mind and I didn't know which one to pick so I let digital chance decide.

Harald's voice (being Psyker Loner) goes all over the place, we know that. Either he is screeching so high he's producing ultrasound and breaking glass or he's using his suave normal deep voice which shocks everyone almost more than his screeches. All in inconsistent intervalls.

And despite that, or maybe because of that, he's actually a good singer. Not the best of the entire squad of Hab Unit CR1-PT1D5, that goes to someone else of my characters but he's pretty good. His dancing is also solid. Again, also not the best, that once again goes to another another one of my characters (why my Squad so talented lmao) but still good. Where he excels tho is playing the piano. Due to his upbringing of seeking shelter in many different places and with many different people during his turbulent youth he ended up working in in basically a pub for some time. Before they found out that he's a Psyker he got taken care of pretty well. For him it was a happier time of his very harsh life, though short-lived.

The owner took him in like a son and taught him how to play and entertain the crowds with song and music. It's nothing Harald brags about or brings up much. It takes a lot to get him to open up about more emotional parts of his life already so singing and playing is too precious to just show off to simpeltons.

But he very much enjoys playing, since it's some of the very few things that can calm his mind and drown out all the voices and visions that constantly flood into his brain.

my silly brain worked up 55 writing prompts to put on a wheel, some open for a random member and others for specific members. i have fluff, angst, suggestive/smutty fics (mwahahahah ;>), and even a lil dark content on the wheel. so, safe to say we're set up for at least another 54 fics if i cant think of anything!! very excited for what's to come!

Maine rarely had nice winter in early spring, so Harley was determined to take advantage of it. In the warmer months, he spent most of his outdoor time at the beach but it was far too cold to resume those activities. Trying to think of outdoor activities he didn't usually do, he was reminded that there was a mini golf course out in the suburbs.

His eyes followed the bright red ball as it rolled well past the hole, bounced off a rock at the exact wrong angle and into the pond. "How many points do you think I lose for that?" He asked the other player.

Sam's shit-eating grin shines in the dim light of the club hallway leading to the bathrooms. Eddie's words (if he got his name right, he wasn't paying attention when they introduced themselves, too busy planning how to get into his pants) are barely perceptible beneath the thumping sound of bass, but they amuse him. He hadn't done anything to make him assume he was dangerous: was it something in his aura?

He would be right if that were the case, but that's not his concern now.

What was of his concern was having a good time, because Sam certainly planned to.

"I'll make it worth your while."

With that, Sam lunges forward, pinning him against the wall and kissing him. He has one hand on either side of the wall behind him, supporting himself.

Maybe he was a bad idea, but he'd undoubtedly be entertaining.

Huh. I feel so stupid over how MUCH I love Trigun in general and Vash in particular. And, like, not even in a self deprecating way. I just think of him and I start to giggle or tear up, if anyone mentions my mobile background or my felted Vash, or the manga, or any other stuff I’ve surrounded myself by, I don’t brush it off, as I always have done, but start to tell them about it and have serious difficulty with stopping the outbursts. My husband literally asks “are you looking at Vash again” every time I smile at my phone (he’s correct most of the times).

I knew I had a tendency to hyperfixate on stuff, but this is something new for me.

Murder Mystery 3

You're walking along the street, a cup of shitty coffee from Beanies in your hand. The Greenpeace Girl tries to convince you to donate to the organization and you try to just keep going on with your day.

It's a typical scene around the CCRP area. And then there's the distant sound of glass shattering. Shards rain down on the pavement below as a body is hurtling through the air, until it hits the ground with a loud crack. People gather around the scene and upon closer inspection, you see Ted Spankoffski's mangled and lifeless body on the concrete.

Looking up, you don't see anyone else close to the window that Ted had fallen from. It was no secret that the man was disliked by almost everyone he ever interacted with, and that he was prone to vices. Most chalked it up to an accident, thinking the man had drunkenly stumbled through the window at work, though Paul Matthews was certain he'd told Ted not to drink on the job just a few minutes before the accident. Later, it was found that a piece of black fabric had been caught on Ted's now-broken wristwatch.

You know there are times when I am reminded to the Le Guin quote re: "women’s deep irrational wisdom, women’s instinctive knowledge of Nature, and so on," but none more acutely as when I am trying to look up makeup techniques.

I just think that it seems like the sort of thing that lends itself well to a detailed diagram and discussion of optical illusions that can be created with use of darker and lighter shades. After all its a discussion of how to paint a known 3d structure with limited morphological variability to achieve specific effects.

But all the tutorials are in video format, incredibly vague like they don't know what they're even instructing you to do and why, or just completely vibes based. And often a combination of the three.

This is why we do actually need more women in engineering tho
