I am watching a critique of The Wicther: Blood Origin (now way I am watching that, also we stan Neon Knight) and the biggest suprise is how Avallac'h looks. WHY does he look like a skinnier lankier Frodo? I don't care if they have some lore explanation, I just hate that choice.

Also if i ever talk about Avallac'h in the future I am ALWAYS talking about the Witcher 3 one, I haven't read the books yet because school, fuck school.

just finished the Witcher:blood origin and yinz better believe I'm having feelings ™ about it. did i stay up until 2.30 am just to finish the series (and make my dad mad at me for staying up that late? maybe, but that's neither here nor there), you betcha.

*spoilers ahead, but my rb-ing history doesn't help with that either, so 🤷🏻‍♂️ you've been warned*

the parallels between jaskier and geralt and eile and fjall got to me. and watching fjall get turned into a witcher made me react in ways i wasn't prepared for and made me have feelings™ about all the other witchers in the future. and then having to watch eila kill her beloved? ugh, gutted me, it did.

but I can already see all the fanfics that'll come from this and I'm excited. does this make me want to watch season 3 (and technically season 2 because i got sick the day it came out and haven't had a desire to watch it after seeing everyone's reactions from it) any more now that I've seen blood origin? not particularly, unfortunately, but I'll just have to wait and see i guess.

No shading (or instrument decorations) yet because I've decided to paint it, but here's a preview! The nyckelharpa was so hard to figure out but I love it.

I think Jaskier would be terrified of Éile and Éile would find Jaskier ridiculous, but eventually they'd love competing against each other.
