I feel like Mirio would have like a cool shark tail? Tinted blue as well.

He has like 20 pet hermit crabs

He paints their cute shells so it looks they have actual houses on their backs.

Loves exploring sunken ships and trying to figure out what all the knickknacks are supposed to do

Usually gets it way wrong as you might expect.

Mirio, looking at a pair of pants: ah yes! Those human arm traps! Hahaah they sure are weird with entertainment but eh!

He's curious about human stuff, but actually pretty chill about wanting to meet or talk to humans.

Mirio likes snoozing in the sun and watching humans from a distance

Its surprising he's only run into a couple since he lives near a small local beach

And even then he usually manages to get away so all they see is a tail!

Mirio's not sure why he decided he was okay with you seeing him, probably because you were out alone on the beach one summer night, looking into the tide pools with great interest, and well, curiosity got the better of him!

That and you looked adorable and well.....ahsjdjjddj moving on

You were completely focused on some starfish when a voice piped up, breaking the calm scilence of the night.

"Whatcha looking at angel fish?"

You look up startled to see a young man beaming at you from the ocean.

"Uhm, uh- yeah I was looking at- sorry who are you?"

"Oh sorry!! I'm Mirio!!! Its nice you meet youuuuuuu.....?"

"Pfft, Y/n, nice to meet ya Mirio, you wanna come join me or, are you gonna.....chill out there"

"Uhm...well...I could it's just-"

You see a blue tail flip out of the water and realize Oh heck he's a merman

And then things get fuzzy....and dark....because apparently that was so shocking you hecking passed out.

You wake up from your spontaneous nap to find Mirio hovering over you, out of breath and clearly worried

"ANGEL FISH ARE YOU OKAY?!"

"Hm? Oh yeah I'm alright Mirio, I guess the tail thing was just a bit of a suprise.....wow"

"What?"

"Sorry sorry I uh..you're just closer now and I uhm.....gosh you're....."

My goodness is he oblivious

Doesnt notice how red your face is.

Doesn't notice how he is like wicked close to you.

He's just *sigh*

You continue on nervously

"I just was gonna say- I think you look radiant or like...really cool or maybe- both? Yeah ok right ok uhm UHMMM COULD YOU MAYBE SCOOCH BACK A BIT YOURE SUPER CLOSE MIRIO"

"Oops! Sorry!!!"

And so begins your nightly beach hangout sessions.

OHMYGOSH HE TOTALLY BRINGS HIS HERMIT CRABS ONE TIME AND TELLS YOU ALL OF THEIR NAMES.

Mirio sometimes brings you pretty shells and samples of rad plantlife in the ocean, he just really loves giving you gifts and seeing how you light up.

I usually volunteer for Salt Lake's Comic Con (now called FanX).  However, the first year the event was held, I paid to attend as a guest and it was amazing!

Among the special guests that week were Vic Mignogna and Grant Imahara talking about their new, fanfic (fan fiction), not-for-profit project, Star Trek Continues.  They even brought along their first episode to show.  They returned to show us more in subsequent conventions. 

In the years since, they have finished the project – completing the 5-year mission of the Starship Enterprise from Star Trek: The Original Series (TOS) in eleven epic episodes!  This was necessary because NBC killed the series after only three seasons back in 1969!  (In keeping with the 1960s production timeline of TOS, they use – for example – an old news clip from 1968 of Apollo 8 in the first episode.)

This is an outstanding series that has won many accolades and awards.  The care, attention to detail, and dedication of this team is truly remarkable! They even got an enthusiastic endorsement from Gene Roddenberry's son!  

Our pandemic isolation has allowed me to catch up with Vic's TOS project and he and his team did not disappoint.  I highly recommend watching the series, now available on YouTube for FREE! (Links below)

In case you are a lifelong trekker like I am and are feeling like this is may be a form of disrespect, please read from the Wikipedia article about the project. 

Wikipedia says:

Star Trek Continues is an American fan-created web series set in the Star Trek universe. Produced by the non-profit charity Trek Continues, Inc. and Dracogen, and initially co-produced by Far from Home LLC and Farragut Films, the series consists of eleven episodes released between 2013 and 2017. The series is an unofficial direct continuation of Star Trek: The Original Series and emulates its visual and storytelling features to achieve the same look and feel. Those who made the show have said in interviews that the intent was to finish the original five year mission of the show, and this is borne out in the plot lines of the final two episodes.

As with all such Star Trek fan productions, use of copyrighted and trademarked properties from the original series was allowed so long as the production was non-commercial.  A portion of the funds necessary to produce the episodes was raised through successful Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns, to which thousands of backers contributed.

Star Trek Continues won a Webby Award for "People's Choice – Long Form Drama" in 2016, a Geekie Award for "Best Web Series" in 2014, and numerous Telly and Accolade awards. After the 11th episode was released in late 2017, the Star Trek Continues series ended.

On July 31, 2014, Rod Roddenberry attended an official screening of "Fairest of Them All" (Episode 3) in Las Vegas and endorsed the project stating: "I do have to say, and I said this after 'Lolani', I'm pretty damn sure my dad would consider this canon. The fact that you do stories that mean something, that have depth, that make us all think a little bit, I really think he would applaud you guys, and I applaud you guys, and as far as I am concerned, it is canon. The Shy Elf & The Hot Nurse

Injured! Tamaki x Nurse! Reader

~Chapter One: I Wanna Go Home~

"Ow, My head *Sigh* Where am I?" Amajiki searched around the room for any clues of his whereabouts. " A hospital room?...Ahh!"  A blood-curdling pain engulfed his body when trying to relieve himself from his dormant state. 

He lifted his hospital gown receiving one hell of an eye opener, his torso, and abdomen tightly encase in bloody bandages. The elf's breath hitched at the sight.  

'How did I-wait..wait' Amajiki gulped.' Who changed me out of my clothes?!' His anxiety rapidly flared up just thought of somebody seeing his weird body or even worse notion what if a girl that changed him.  

'Oh god,' The elf covered his hot face on the brink of tears.

"Woah! Woah! I don't think it's a bright idea for you to be moving so soon." 

"Wahh!" The elf almost leaped out of his skin after witnessing Mirio face phase through the wall.

"Quit screaming, Tamaki. We are in a hospital." Mirio snickered.

"You almost gave me a heart attack"

"Oh sorry" Mirio phased himself through the wall. "How are you feeling, Champ?" (I don't why but for some reason. I'm giving Mirio father/ best friend vibes...I like it.)

"What happened to me?"

"You rocked! You saved a busload of people!" Mirio voiced died down when it came to the bad news. "Unfortunately, Your were knocked out cold after the villain sent you flying through a building while you were distracted. "

'Ugh! How could I have been so careless?! I'm such an idiot! I-I bet Mirio would have seen that attack coming from a mile away-' "Ouch!" Amajiki holds his throbbing nose.

"Now, don't go belittling yourself or else. I will flick you again" Mirio eyes soften after the elf quickly nodded "yes". "Good because you should be proud of yourself-Oh, wait here!" Mirio disappeared into the wall leaving Amajiki wondering what's he's up too now.  

"Eek!!!" The screams of several women made the curious elf flinched. 

"Sorry about that ladies!" Mirio bust through the door struggling to pull up his pants. " How about I just use the door."

Amajiki hummed and nodded in agreement.

Mirio prop opens the door and left once more. The elf grew embarrassed with the door opened, the nurses and doctors could walk by and see him in his hospital gown. He kept his head down as toyed with his fingers hoping Mirio would hurry.

"I'm back!"

Amajiki head shot up and froze with widening eyes. " W-What all this for?!"

Mirio smiled with his huge arms full of "great well" cards, balloons, candy, and flowers. " These are all from the civilians. YOU saved."

Amajiki's heart fluttered but if only he were quicker on his feet- "Ouch!".

" I saw that look in your eye again" Mirio sat by Amajiki's bedside. "Listen, I know you're upset because you got distracted."

"Am I really that see-through?"  The elf's ears burned with embarrassment. 

"Nobody's perfect" Mirio pulled Amajiki into a giant bear hug. "Everyone makes mistakes and mistakes are good because you can get the opportunity to learn from them."

Mirio soothing words was a mental pat on the back to Amajiki. It actually made the shy elf join some of his confident back even though it's a very small amount. That counts as progress.

"Thanks, Mirio" Amajiki's ears twitched with happiness.

*Knock* *Knock*

Both of them pulled away from their hug giving all their attention to the door.

"Hi I'm (Y/N), I'm your nurse." The alluring woman's heels clicked against the hospital's marble floor. "You are Mr. Amajiki" Your voice softens while you verified medical information.

Amajiki 's purple orbs scanned (Y/N) from head to toe. Every inch of her was a sight for sore eyes from those soft legs to her breathtaking eyes. That's the problem! Your gorgeous and well...I don't think Tamaki is going to survive that long.

Ba-Dump! Ba-Dump! Ba-Dump!

'Oh dear god, ..I-I want to go home!' He cried in his head as his face and ears glowed into a bright red hue.
