on the real that’s typical nicomaki buT WHAT IF….. IN THE FUTURE SHE BECOMES AWARE AND TAKES ADVANTAGE OF HER POWER WHOA THE NICO NII IS REALLY COOL….. By then maki is used to her flirting which is actually not too cringeworthy? maki still shoots her down whenever nico tries to whoo her anD NICO GETS SO MAD AND ITS FUNNY “MAKI-CHAN PLS A SENIOR IS SUPPOSED TO LOOK COOL INFRONT OF HER JUNIORS CUT ME SOME SLACK HERE IM REALLY TRYING…..”

but ya in the end maki swoons the most when nico is unintentionally suave usually when she’s simply being sincere like “eh?? did that really fluster you? i guess it’s not so bad being honest and straightforward if i get to see a cute bluahy face like that more often!”

eli and nico are STRONG, OUTSPOKEN people, but i think they’d be relatively calm together?? 

eli is one of the few people (including kotori and hanayo) who openly respect nico!! eli never ridicules nico and she’s always giving the latter credit wherever it’s due (calling her cute, clever, NICE)

while nico is openly catty towards maki because of her jealousy, she just quietly seethes over eli’s body but hasn’t ever said anything rude as far as i can recall. even in s1, when maki got all up in eli’s face (before getting reprimanded by honoka), nico just stood there quietly. she only calls eli out (along with maki) when hanayo actually gets physically hurt from eli’s tyranny

so they got a mutual RESPECT thing going on nice nice nice

the emphasis on nico’s backstory is usually placed on nozomi, but eli definitely wanted to befriend nico too?? all of the third years are kinda socially awkward in different ways, but eli was definitely more similar to nico in that she was too shy to express herself at all, and had to wait for nozomi + muse to do the work. but i headcanon that when nico’s club fell apart, eli quietly pulled some strings to help nico retain her president status. nico may or may not know about this but it would definitely explain why she’s more respectful of eli!!

they’re just SIMILAR PPL HOO BOY. they’re both responsible elder sisters, they both know what it’s like to WORK HARD and still fail in the end. they can motivate each other to do better in their respective fields

they’re both kind of big babies at times but i can see eli coddling nico (see: sif cap) or nico comforting eli bc it’s dark out YEAH YEAH YEA

they both have long beautiful contrasting hair what more do u want

but yup elinico is such a good cute ship they have this equals thing going on, but they also know when to properly respect each other i LOVE

omg so nico and rich bf #3 (nico dumped the previous two) run into maki at some rich person event and oh god nico is like hanging off his ARM and bein all sickly sweet. and when rich bf #3 goes off to greet the hostess, nico immediately drops her smile and complains to maki like

"he is SOOOO BORING i know he’s like a millionaire but idt i can spend the rest of my life with this dude"

"you uh..you know who you could prob spend the rest of your life with, and is rich?"

"WHO"
