Do you ever listen to a band for the first time and it's love at first listen? Something in your brain magically connects like a loose wire, finally finding its way home. That's what listening to The Midnight was for me. The 80s synthwave spoke to me, and suddenly, I fell down a rabbit hole of needing them on cassette.

And that's how i ended up here. 📼💀🎧

The Midnight (one of my favorite synth bands) is dropping their live album on streaming next month and I am unbelievably excited. I've been watching recordings of their most recent tour and it looks cool as fuck. Counting the days for when they go on another tour so I can see em live.

A banda de Synthwave baseada em Los Angeles e formada por Tim McEvan e Tyler Lyle, é também uma das principais referências do movimento musical iniciado em 2007 ao lado de nomes como FM-84, FM Attack, Dana Jean Phoenix entre outros. Neste álbum "Days Of Thunder" lançado em 2014 tem a sonoridade totalmente nostálgica que também remete o ouvinte aos Anos 80. Neste EP destacam-se canções como "The Years (Prologue)", a pulsante "Gloria", a balada Synthpop "WeMoveForward" , o hit principal "Days Of Thunder" - Canção inspirada em "The Boys Of Summer" lançada pelo eterno líder do Eagles, Don Henley em 1984, seguida por "Kick Drums & Red Wine" outra canção que traz nostalgia e nos remete a atmosfera da cultura pop dos Anos 80, incluindo filmes como "De Volta Para O Futuro", "O Último Guerreiro das Estrelas", "O Clube dos Cinco" , "A Garota de Rosa-Shocking", "Top Gun" e sonoridades vistas e revistas em trilhas sonoras de séries da TV da época como por exemplo "Miami Vice". A última faixa "Los Angeles" é quase um tema daqueles verões nostálgicos e quentes da década de 80. Enfim, não é preciso sair do HOJE para visitarmos o passado, a música em si, nos permite a isso.

•Scenarios and requests ?

So for you to understand better, here's the two different things :

•Scenarios for me are messages that you wrote for an OC, it's a small thing that like happen in the daily life, they tend to be short with not much of a background. It's like repliés if you prefer.

•Requests are more for multiple OCs or full story or headcannons of them, they tend to be way longer than what you think.

•What I will write

•Pairings : I'm comfortable for everything and all gender, well I do have sometimes casualties but it's not a big deal.

•Yandere : I never really wrote about that but I wish to try my hand at it !

•What I will not write

•Nsfw : I've actually read some but I'm not quite sure if I'd be able too do it so for now I don't wish to do that ! But it might change later on, keep that in mind !
