not only does it ignore the fact that clay is a grown man responsible of making his own decisions, it diminishes the entire meaning of the show -- specifically when it comes to generational trauma and the way people handle it.

by saying bloberta is the reason clay is an abusive alcoholic, you completely ignore the influence of their childhoods and the way it fuels their mutual codependency and unhealthy coping mechanisms. which then downplays the way they continue that same cycle of abuse, in turn downplaying the way orel BROKE that cycle!

so in short, duh, how could i NOT get annoyed.

fabric people. for my quilt coat where i'm using largely wool suiting (cut out of suits) for the patchwork + silk batting (for more flexible drape)... what's a good move for lining. note i am in a mediterranean climate and i love to layer so warmth is not a huge priority. i have a bunch of flannel in the stash but judging from another project it pills easily. is this a linen occasion? ? ? please weigh in.
