Norm Spellman x Oc (Byron)

Prompt: War for Pandora

Norm's avatar fell to the floor, his head hitting against the grassy soil of Pandora, the world slowed down for Byron as he watched his partner fall lifeless to the ground, as soon as he somewhat recovered from the initial shock, he ran to the scientist

- Norm?! Oh god-

He almost screamed in terror and anxiety, he cupped Norm's blue cheek with one oh his hands, his pointy ears drooped, the sounds of gunshots and screaming echoed, but he felt like be was deaf at that moment, then his mind came back for a second

"He disconnected, the hideout!" He thought, grabbing the gun from his partner avatar's hand in a hurry. Byron took off, running as fast as he could, tears streaming down his cheeks as he prayed to Ewya that Norm was okay. Inside the hideout, Norm opened the pod and basically dropped off, heavy breathing and holding his chest, the place where he was shot, when he heard footsteps outside his heart raced even more until he heard a voice

- Norm?-

Byron entered the small pod-bedroom carefully as to not hit his head, when he saw his partner on the floor, hyperventilating he rushed to comfort him

- I'm.. so happy to see you.. I thought.. I thought you were gone-

The size difference between the two men made the hugging awkward, but it did not matter right now, after a few seconds, Norm finally spoke

- we need to go-

He said, looking deep inside Byron's green eyes

- but..-

- Jake needs us, Pandora needs us, I'm okay, I promise-

The scientist spoke up, getting up with a bit of help of his big blue boyfriend, who nodded with a small smile, he loved seeing him act so bravely.

They left the hideout, rushing back to the battlefield, no fear inside their hearts, only strenght and love for eachother
