So I’ve noticed a lot of 1D, Larry, Ziam, etc... fans now are very young or not very knowledgeable when it comes to things such as pregnancy. So here are some clarifications for you all after seeing some of the “proofs” you all use to say Gigi isn’t pregnant:

1: they said she was around 5 months pregnant which makes her about 20 weeks give or take. Now see the thing about pregnancies is that months don’t really matter what matters are the weeks. So a healthy pregnancy is considered 40weeks which technically is 10 months but we all hear that pregnancies are 9 months, why? Well doctors begin to count when you are pregnant from the first day of your last menstrual cycle. Now if you’ve learn about this (meaning you’re old enough to know) then normal cycles would make a woman fertile and conceiving time to be around day 14. 2 weeks after your first day of cycle, now just because you had intercourse that day doesn’t mean that’s the exact date you get pregnant, so calculating an exact time is hard that’s why doctors go by the first day of the menstrual cycle until baby is big enough that they can narrow it down a bit more based on development of baby and placenta. So if you get pregnant during your fertile days and by your next cycle you miss your cycle and find out you’re pregnant according to doctors you are 4 weeks pregnant (1 month) but in reality you are only 2 weeks, make sense? So when you hit 40 weeks really you’re only 38 weeks, which is roughly 9 1/2 months. Now to add to this, a full term pregnancy is considered 39-40 weeks. That means you can take another week off which brings it down to 9 months and 1 week and that my darlings is why pregnancies are said to be 9 months. Now pregnancy is also divided into 3 trimesters which are then themselves divided into “3” months. Now I say “3” bc in some “months” there’s 4 weeks and in some there’s 5 wks. This is another reason why it’s said to be 9 months. Also babies can be late, you can be pregnant up to 42 wks so if someone says they are due early September but don’t have baby until closer to end of September that doesn’t mean they are lying it could’ve been that baby was just late. So to wrap it all up the reason I explained all this is bc I’ve seen people question her due date that’s said to be in September. When taking all this information in consideration then it’s not hard to understand and realize that September IS a correct time to be due. If she was 20 wks on her bday and you count another 20 weeks, it puts her to be 40 wks in mid-early September and yes it would be technically be 10 months.

2: I see a lot of questioning about her belly. So I know we all have this image when it comes to pregnancy and a pregnant belly, specially when you hear 5 months. Most people have the misconception that every woman looks the same when pregnant. That everyone woman’s belly will be the same well darlings that’s not true. So here’s a true fact based on statistics: first time moms will show a bump later then 2nd time + moms. Now let’s dig deeper into this. While the statistics will lean more to first time moms not showing as early as multiple time moms it’s not 100% true about everyone. Every woman and every pregnancy is different even within the same woman. Now normally around week 12 the uterus that is normally tucked in behind the pelvic bone begins to expand and move up and out of the pelvic area. Remember I said normally, which means not everyone’s will move up exactly at 12 weeks. So around that time a woman can begin to feel her lower belly harden but won’t necessarily have a bump. Some woman will begin to show after 12 weeks and a lot won’t show until closer to 16-20 weeks. Now when I say show it doesn’t mean a huge belly 🤰 I mean a small bump that is easily concealable with loose clothing. Another thing to add is position of baby makes a lot of difference in how big your bump becomes. If the baby likes to lay all the way back and away from the belly, your bump will be small if the baby likes to be in front your belly will most likely look bigger and you’ll show earlier, a lot of this also has to do with the placenta but I’m not gonna get too deep into it. Shape and size of belly bump will differentiate for every woman. So while some woman by week 20 or month 5 may have bumps that are noticeable through clothing it is not uncommon for some to not have a noticeable belly at all, specially as a first time mom. *from my personal experience no one who wasn’t family or close friend, could tell or knew that I was pregnant until I was about 30 weeks when my bump got big enough to actually be noticeable. Before then my bump was so tiny, clothes like the ones Gigi was wearing could cover it up* so with that said just because she doesn’t show a HUGE belly doesn’t mean she isn’t as far along as she states to be.

3. I saw something else about horseback riding and how if she was pregnant she wouldn’t be doing it. While pregnant woman are recommended to not do horseback riding a pregnant woman who has been doing this activity for a long time, meaning her body and pelvic area is used to it and is an experienced rider, can horseback ride with caution. Meaning no jumping, no racing etc, just slow easy riding but by the time they are in 3rd trimester they should stop. 3rd trimester is 28 weeks. Gigi is an experienced rider.

4. Coffee drinking. The whole coffee is bad while pregnant has been debunked. Yes it’s bad in large quantities but it’s been proven and doctor approved that a pregnant woman can have up to 200mg or 2 mugs of coffee/caffeine a day without it being harmful to you or baby. So Gigi drinking coffee isn’t such a big deal and doesn’t prove she is not pregnant. There are worse things she could be doing.

Now I want you all to know, I know Zigi is a PR, it’s pretty damn obvious and theres sources. Whether lines where blurred during their PR stunt I have no idea and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were. When you spend so much time with someone and you’re lonely or whatever things can lead to one thing and another. Does this mean I believe she’s pregnant? I think it would be psychotic of her and her management and family to fake a whole baby like that, so I’d like to believe that yes she is. Would I be too surprised if it turns out there is no baby in the end, no it’s freaking Hollywood but I would be disappointed bc babies and pregnancies shouldn’t be used like that. Now do I believe Zayn is the baby daddy? Idk. Lines could have been blurred, he could be the dad. You have stans that will fight this and deny bc of their ship but I like to keep an open mind. People aren’t perfect, people fall into temptations and people make mistakes. So yes this baby could be his and also yes this baby could also not be his. There’s sources out there that have stated both Zayn and Gigi have their side pieces. So either option isn’t going to surprise me.

So the whole point of this whole post was to provide you all information bc I keep seeing all these posts, comments, tweets with misinformation about pregnancy and are using it as “proofs”. This is in no way a post of support or solidarity to Zigi as I know they are a PR. I just want you all to get the right information.

I’m going to apologise now for how long this may well end up because as I am pretty sure you have all picked up by now, I have A LOT of thoughts and feelings about Ignis Scientia. and i have zero regrets and could talk for days about him if given the platform. I will try my best to keep it to a reasonable length though.

First off I have a very sinking feeling that there is a reason we know so very little about Ignis and his background because SE are cruel and have basically already said that the Ignis DLC is going to shit on us from a great height the most out of the three so I wouldn’t be surprised if they pull something out the bag that will just.  yeah. 

So all that follows is just my opinion, and will probably all be null and void if/when we get more info but you think that’s gonna stop me? I think not!

Any family he has outside of his Uncle I do not believe is in Insomnia, if they are even alive.  I am positive I read something somewhere about how he is originally from somewhere outside of Insomnia/Lucis hence his different accent to the rest of them, however I can’t seem to find this anymore so I may have been imagining things, but i feel it is most likely.  

No matter where they were from, I believe his Uncle was established in Insomnia with his place as an Attendant of the King and he was sent to go and live with him for any of multiple possible reasons. They recognised from a young age his skills, there were better opportunities and education in Lucis so he went, was enrolled in the gifted school program and originally was being prepped for the same job as his uncle.  Alternatively, his parents were dead or ill and unable to look after him so, shipped off to the only other family they had to be his legal guardian.  And what I believe to be the last option they were in a Nif controlled area/under threat from them and they didn’t want their son to be caught in such an area so somehow got him out and sent him over to Insomnia.  Or any combination of the above. and i bet you they are all wrong. 

But now a slight detour to if it does involve the latter option in anyway I am going to put my theory of origin location forward; Tenebrae.  One and the most obvious reason; the accent.  It is the only place where we have seen multiple people from their with a British accent in particular the Recieved Pronunciation. Another theory I have; Noctis was sent there to recover from his accident 12 years ago which to me hints that maybe the Tenebraens have a more natural nack for the healing arts.  Maybe it is just more of a prominant thing there but I think that accents quite nicely to how Ignis is the main support for the group; he is the only one with specifically healing abilities and techniques (not excluding that in I want to say episode duscae he full on had ‘cure’ as an ability so…). While Tenebrae was seized by Nifleheim a while ago, Fenestala /manor remained independent so what if one or both of his parents worked in the manor under the Oracle?  They would see what the Nif’s have done to the rest of the territory, want better for their son, there has always been that bond between the Oracle and the Lucis Royal Family plus they had a brother over at the Citadel; it would be entirely plausible that they sent him there to try and safeguard his future knowing Insomnia’s defences etc.  He went at a young age so they would have gotten him out before the Empire seized full control with the attempted attack on Regis twelve years ago.  

Idk to me it just makes sense but that could just be me. Also, this is just what I think is the most likely of different area’s we know about, there are so many out there we don’t know about and more than likely a more viable location ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And as for grooming, I am not sure how much of that was done externally and how much he actually brought it on himself.  I firmly believe that if Noctis never got married and something happened to him and he left no heir apparent that, if he was still around, Ignis would probably take what would be the Kings position. ( I can’t say ‘he would be king’ because that is a lineage thing and he doesn’t have it and I don’t think he would want the title) But I think he would do all of the kingly duties just with a different title just for the sole reason that there is no one else qualified to do it all.  He knows the expectation of what has to be done, and above that he knows how to do it.  He would lead the ‘royal’ council and see that what had to be done was done.  

BUT, I don’t think that was ever the primary intention on anybodies part, more just a happy coincidence.  

So either way however he got there, he is in Insomnia more than likely with the intention of becoming one of the King’s Attendants.  So they get him started, turns out this little blonde kid is hella intelligent and intuitive so yup, there he goes into the Gifted Education programme.  This much we know happened.  He is the dog’s bollocks, the bee’s knees, and on top of that little Noctis really takes to him and vice versa and they become adorable little citadel buddies.  All of this has happened before Noct has had his accident so we are talking Ignis is no older than 9/10.  

The incident happens and Ignis see’s just how shaken the little prince is and takes it upon him to try and get him back to his former happy self.  He starts going above and beyond to do things for him and this is picked up on and I think this is the point where they enhance his intended path.  He is special so they begin introducing to his education things that would be beyond that of an Attendant, that’s when they are looking at more specialised skills and guess what, he excels at that too.  There is this kid, not even a teenager who is so selfless in the things he does for Noctis and the thing is, they don’t even know the half of it; the things he does for him that they don’t know about i.e. how he takes the fall for Noct every time he follows him out on his escapes from the citadel, the fact that he learnt how to bake solely to try and put a smile on his face.  They’ve seen the potential, so they push it a bit, try and see how far it goes.

A few years down the line, Noctis is supposed to be attending all these meetings and crap and learning how to rule a kingdom but guess who is doing most of it on his behalf?  That little blonde kid who appeared in Insomnia to live with his uncle.  A few more years and he is all grown up, perfect human being,  full on adviser to the heir, strategist extraordinaire, knows all the ins and outs and workings of Insomnia who, if push came to shove in a dire situation, would be fully capable of leading.  Happy coincidence that nobody ever would have expected to happen 15 years prior. 

And I am going to stop this here as I already spent muuuuuuch more time on this than I intended but I just had to get it out!  He just.  He makes me. щ(ಥДಥщ)  Uuuughhhhhh he gives me so many feelings and I know it will only get worse with his DLC.  Look what you have done to me SE, look at the monster you have created.

Ship Life

Hola,

Long time no see.

Cruise life has officially begun now that guests are on board, so finding time to write anything or doing anything other than work has been hard! Being in the dry dock definitely was not the most glamorous experience, but it sure was relaxing and included a lot of down time and time for socializing. Now that we are back in business, things are a lot busier! The first voyage last week left from singapore and went to Penang, Malaysia and Phuket, Thailand. Sadly, I was working during the day on both days and could not get off, hopefully next time. A day at work varies drastically for every department on board. As a youth staff, every day is pretty different. Instead of working 9-5 every day, days are pretty spread out. There is also never a day off for anyone in any department, only hours off. For example- here is my schedule from today. From 9-12 I worked with the 6-11 year olds. From 1:30-3:30 I helped run laser tag. Then tonight I work from 10:00pm-2:00am with the 3-5 year olds (if parents choose to leave their kids). If no kids stay past 10:00, I get to leave too (fingers crossed). The hours of the kids camp on board are 9:00-12:00, 2:00-5:00, 7:00-10:00 and then theres a late night session from 10:00pm-2:00am (7.00/hour for the late session). We also offer a kids lunch and dinner if kids sign up for it. We take them to the buffet during the time the camp is closed and they get pizza and fries and we get to choose from the buffet. I haven’t had to do this yet.Thankfully, no one has left their kids past 10pm yet so i’m really hoping the same is true for my late shift tonight. When there’s a big block of time off in between shifts, people mostly nap. I brought a dvd player that plugs into my laptop, so i’ve mostly been watching Dawson’s Creek during my time off. During the dry dock, they also put in a flat screen tv at the end of every staff’s bed mounted to the wall. Theres about 25 channels. They also have free movies available for crew on the tv and there is honestly a great selection, I was really surprised. Mostly new releases.  If you can make it work and have enough time, you can also get off the ship while in port during your hours off. My boss is really great and makes it a priority to make sure that all of us will get to get off at every port. In these Asian ports, all of the really touristy areas are around a 1-2 hour drive away, so it is going to be hard to visit them, but people have made it work.

A lot of people have been asking me about food, so here we go! The staff “mess” is open 3 times a day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. When it’s closed in between those 3 times, theres no way to get food, so its important to go when its open! We are allowed to go to some of the restaurants on board, but need to make a reservation and pay a small fee. None of us from the youth team have tried this yet, but i’m sure we will try to get a group together to get some real food soon. There is also a little convenience store for staff that has snack food (kind of expensive $$$), this is a very important place. Snacks are necessary for the room when all there is to do is watch tv. However, the only things I can really eat from there are pringles and oreos. Life as a vegan on this ship is proving to be very difficult. For breakfast I’ve been having fruit and hash browns (if I make it in time). For others, there are a lot of eggs in various forms and different meats. Always rice as well. For lunch and dinner I have quite literally been eating the same things in different orders every day. Rice, pasta, broccoli, cauliflower, squash, veggie fajitas (sometimes a salad or quinoa salad if i’m lucky). For other normal people, there are a ton of different options. A LOT of different meats and fish. There is also what seems like 500lbs of rice available at every meal. Usually i’ll make a peanut butter sandwich on a little bun as well. That has been my dessert seeing as I cannot eat any of the desserts, which is really sad because they look amazing and are usually the leftovers from the dining room. I can’t complain because its free, but i’m definitely getting a bit tired of having the same things every day! Speaking of pricing, pretty much everything is free and I am just getting paid to be here. Room and board is free. The main meals are free, but you have to pay for the snacks from the store and if you want to go to a fancy restaurant. Laundry is also free, but is an absolute joke because there are about 4 working machines for over 1,000 people. The only things we have to pay for are our uniforms, alcohol and wifi. However, most drinks are only 2.00. I heard that the bar for the crew makes more money than all of the other bars on board combined, which is crazy because we get such a discount on alcohol, whereas the drinks for guests are extremely overpriced. But, it makes sense because the crew/staff on this ship drink like fish! Paying for wifi is very annoying. I know its a first world problem, but its so necessary to keep in touch with friends and family to stay sane. There are different packages you can buy, but I have only been purchasing the 1 hour of wifi for 3.99. We got some great news though. As a “thank you” for completing the dry dock, they have just gifted us with 1 month of free wifi. It just opened up 5 minutes ago, so I will have free wifi until the end of November. This is so exciting for us.

Biggest thing i’m missing right now: HAVING A WINDOW. When I was at home, I was a legit mushroom who always wanted the blinds closed. However, waking up every morning in the pitch black is starting to get to me. I need some natural light. Luckily, the tv has a live camera of the view from the front of the ship, so sometimes I turn that on and pretend I have a window.  I guess I miss my friends and family too, but not as much as a window ;)

  People, like organizations, find making change easier when faced with a crisis. If you or someone close to you has had a health scare related to being overweight, it could be your call to action. These crises create a sense of urgency, but we don’t have to manufacture a crisis to create a sense of urgency. Effective leaders set stretch goals for their organization that need to be reached within a specified timeframe. A goal needs to have a deadline. A deadline helps create a sense of urgency.  It helps establish priorities and prevents procrastination.  After setting goals they look at leading and lagging indicators. Lead indicators are daily actions we can take to achieve our long term goal, measured by lag indicators. For example, generating sales leads might be a lead indicator, while the lag indicator would be an increase in sales revenue. Fat loss lead indicators are your daily caloric intake and total daily protein intake. The lag indicators are your weekly bodyweight averages and average body fat percentages.

I have always gotten in my best condition when I had a specific event or competition I was preparing for at the time. If you don’t have a competition or event, you are preparing for you can create one. Here are some examples that can create the sense of urgency that makes change easier:

1)    Lose 10 pounds of body fat before your 10-year college reunion in 12 weeks.

2)    Compete in a body transformation contest, like Body-for-Life or the Lean Body Challenge.

3)    Lose 12 pounds before a professional photo shoot you have scheduled with your spouse in three months.

4)    Lose 20 pounds before your scheduled vacation to Hawaii in four months.

5)    Lose 15 pounds while you prepare for the MS 150 Bike Ride.

6)    Lose 20 pounds before a yearly dinner party you have planned with family or college friends.

These are just a few examples of the types of goals you can set to create the necessary sense of urgency needed to make change easier. Think big. The bigger your goal the more motivated you’ll be to go after it every day. The higher a priority it will be to you. The less likely you’ll be to procrastinate. The more fuel you’ll have to grind it out, day after day. Seeing yourself achieving your compelling goal is going to push you to make it a reality. Imagine how great it’s going to feel once you accomplish your goal. I like to envision a naysayer, a real or imagined person, that’s hoping I’ll fail. I channel my anger toward that person into my workouts with an “I’ll prove you wrong” mentality. I adopt a “you don’t know me” attitude. You don’t know how determined I am. I like to imagine their dismay when they discover I have beaten their predictions. “Success is the best revenge,” Ed Sheeran.

Commit yourself to your goal. In the examples given, register for your event or race in advance, purchase your airplane tickets, book hotel reservations, schedule the photography session, etc. You can sign-up for a one-year gym membership, which often saves you money over month-to-month memberships. You can sign-up for personal training sessions and share your goals with your trainer. This will further commit you and create an additional layer of accountability. The crucial thing is that you create a real sense of urgency. Establishing a sense of urgency will provide you with the motivation you need to stick to the program and overcome temptation. When you are tempted to eat a piece of birthday cake at the office or skip a planned workout. You will remember that your event is only a few weeks away, you have made a significant financial commitment, and you need to keep making progress toward your goal. Letting supportive friends and family know about your plans can also help you commit.

Make the decision. In Latin, decision literally translates to “a cutting off.” Decide. Commit. Cut off all other options. Cut off the excuses. Cut off the negative people in your life. Cut off procrastination. Cut off laziness.  In the military we say a unit is decisively engaged when it cannot retreat or advance. It must stand and fight or parish. Decide. Commit yourself. Commit, like Captain Cortes did by burning the boats. After his eleven ships carrying 600 Spaniards landed on the shores of Veracruz in 1519, he immediately gathered his men and ordered the boats be burned. By eliminating their only means of escape, he left them with only two options; succeed or die.  There is no better time than now.  Tony Robins says, “A real decision is measured by the fact that you’ve taken action. If there’s no action, you haven’t really decided. If you want to take the island, then burn the boats. With absolute commitment come the insights that create real victory.”

  People, like organizations, find making change easier when faced with a crisis. If you or someone close to you has had a health scare related to being overweight, it could be your call to action. These crises create a sense of urgency, but we don’t have to manufacture a crisis to create a sense of urgency. Effective leaders set stretch goals for their organization that need to be reached within a specified timeframe. A goal needs to have a deadline. A deadline helps create a sense of urgency.  It helps establish priorities and prevents procrastination.  After setting goals they look at leading and lagging indicators. Lead indicators are daily actions we can take to achieve our long term goal, measured by lag indicators. For example, generating sales leads might be a lead indicator, while the lag indicator would be an increase in sales revenue. Fat loss lead indicators are your daily caloric intake and total daily protein intake. The lag indicators are your weekly bodyweight averages and average body fat percentages.

I have always gotten in my best condition when I had a specific event or competition I was preparing for at the time. If you don’t have a competition or event, you are preparing for you can create one. Here are some examples that can create the sense of urgency that makes change easier:

1)    Lose 10 pounds of body fat before your 10-year college reunion in 12 weeks.

2)    Compete in a body transformation contest, like Body-for-Life or the Lean Body Challenge.

3)    Lose 12 pounds before a professional photo shoot you have scheduled with your spouse in three months.

4)    Lose 20 pounds before your scheduled vacation to Hawaii in four months.

5)    Lose 15 pounds while you prepare for the MS 150 Bike Ride.

6)    Lose 20 pounds before a yearly dinner party you have planned with family or college friends.

These are just a few examples of the types of goals you can set to create the necessary sense of urgency needed to make change easier. Think big. The bigger your goal the more motivated you’ll be to go after it every day. The higher a priority it will be to you. The less likely you’ll be to procrastinate. The more fuel you’ll have to grind it out, day after day. Seeing yourself achieving your compelling goal is going to push you to make it a reality. Imagine how great it’s going to feel once you accomplish your goal. I like to envision a naysayer, a real or imagined person, that’s hoping I’ll fail. I channel my anger toward that person into my workouts with an “I’ll prove you wrong” mentality. I adopt a “you don’t know me” attitude. You don’t know how determined I am. I like to imagine their dismay when they discover I have beaten their predictions. “Success is the best revenge,” Ed Sheeran.

Commit yourself to your goal. In the examples given, register for your event or race in advance, purchase your airplane tickets, book hotel reservations, schedule the photography session, etc. You can sign-up for a one-year gym membership, which often saves you money over month-to-month memberships. You can sign-up for personal training sessions and share your goals with your trainer. This will further commit you and create an additional layer of accountability. The crucial thing is that you create a real sense of urgency. Establishing a sense of urgency will provide you with the motivation you need to stick to the program and overcome temptation. When you are tempted to eat a piece of birthday cake at the office or skip a planned workout. You will remember that your event is only a few weeks away, you have made a significant financial commitment, and you need to keep making progress toward your goal. Letting supportive friends and family know about your plans can also help you commit.

Make the decision. In Latin, decision literally translates to “a cutting off.” Decide. Commit. Cut off all other options. Cut off the excuses. Cut off the negative people in your life. Cut off procrastination. Cut off laziness.  In the military we say a unit is decisively engaged when it cannot retreat or advance. It must stand and fight or parish. Decide. Commit yourself. Commit, like Captain Cortes did by burning the boats. After his eleven ships carrying 600 Spaniards landed on the shores of Veracruz in 1519, he immediately gathered his men and ordered the boats be burned. By eliminating their only means of escape, he left them with only two options; succeed or die.  There is no better time than now.  Tony Robins says, “A real decision is measured by the fact that you’ve taken action. If there’s no action, you haven’t really decided. If you want to take the island, then burn the boats. With absolute commitment come the insights that create real victory.”
