I know there's sleeker looking revamps (like @vegan-kaktus 's detailed default replacement) of this low poly Maxis decor, but it's an object I used in almost all my childhood builds, so it's pretty nostalgic to me! Still, I always thought that the colors made it look somewhat rotten, which doesn't seem very tasty or plastic imo, so I've given it a slightly more appealing retexture along with an additional 8 recolors of the bowl.

Recolors have been clearly labeled in the folder so you can delete any that you don't want. Left to right: black ceramic, white ceramic, med wood, light wood, black wicker, white wicker, dark wicker, and light wicker.

Okay, so Wukongverse - LMK!SWK is Peach Kong...what are the others?

LMK!SWK= "Peach Kong" aka "Peach": The SWKs joking call LMK!SWK that cus he's obsessed with those tasty mfs, and his face marking sorta looks like one too. LMK!Mac = "Plums" because of LMK!SWK calling his beloved by the petname. This leads to multiple monkeys getting fruit-based nicknames.

HeroIsBack!SWK = "Dasheng" [great sage]: Unofficial nickname in his film via Liuer. They either call him that, or they call him "The tall one". His HeroIsBack!LEM = "Zhanshi" [Warrior] cus of his more up-close fighting style compared to the other LEMs.

Reborn!SWK = "Smokey": Accidental on the kids part cus of his eye markings looking like smokey eye shadow. Initally refuses to be known as any nickname, but it just stuck. Also known as "Fruit Dad". Accidentally calls his Reborn!LEM "Liang/亮" ["bright/clear"] (cus of his silver-white fur) when complaining about the nicknames, and that stuck too. His Macaque/Liang thinks the nickname is lovely.

Netflix!SWK = "Cherry": Unoriginal nickname based on the fact that he's the most red furred of the monkeys. Netflix!LEM ends up being called "Olive" to keep with the fruity theme. They think its cute - its become their version of the LMK!Shadowpeach's Peaches/Plums petnames.

Meihouwang = "Shihou" or "Sunshine": Since he doesn't go by the SWK title in casual convo, he keeps the name Shihou. "Sunshine" is used cus he's a walking piece of it. Meihouwang!LEM is just "Mihou" or "Moondrop" to the other LEM's keep it simple.

NewGods = "Grandpa" "Ace": Cus of the fancy gambling suit. NewGods!LEM = "Joker" cus of the playing cards theme, and the fact that they're terrible for pranking the other monkeys.

2000sCartoon = "Sugar" or "Ganzhe/甘蔗" ["sugarcane"]: The gang think he's such a sweet heart... also is on a constant sugar-high from all the modern candy he's been exposed to. His LEM has yet to officially named, but they sometimes call them "Spice" so they can be "Sugar and Spice".

Smash Legends = "Starfruit": Pun on him being a celebrity. Also called "Big Shot" by the older SWKs. Takes a lot of names for a single one to stick. Smash!Mac is currently sticking with "Lilac" (one of their fave colors), but also responds to "Diva/The Idol".

#is this outrage bait #are we having a 'it never occurred to me someone would take 12 pills in one gulp because I can't do that' moment #or a 'I'm perfectly aware people take 10+ pills at once I just want attention and I don't care how I get it' moment

It’s not outrage bait, I swear! It honestly did not occur to me that, faced with a handful of small things of various sizes, shapes, and colors, tumblr users would NOT immediately sort them. (I personally take five in the morning, which I put in a little pile next to my cereal bowl, and then sneak them into my mouth between bites, largest first, like I’m tricking a dog.) 

I was not expecting over 50,000 responses to this poll. I have fewer than 100 followers, and that’s including the pornbots. But the notes are fascinating to read! 

“All at once,” or as one person called it, “the cursed jello shot,” was by far the most popular response, despite my forgetting to put it as a poll option. [The following quotes are all by different people.]

I am amazed at how many pills you all are taking at once. 

YES I usual to take 7 pills at once just to save time like a fucking animal #all at once #even if I have like 8 and they're huge #i take 9 pills at once about twice a day I take about 10 pills. I take them all at once. #i take 11 in the morning all at once including two large ones #i take 12 pills every morning and 7 at night and my family hates it but i just knock em back #i take them all at once #granted i take like 13 pills at once every night sometimes more #i take 15 pills every morning and i just swallow them all at once #i learned to take all 17 at once #i can swallow upwards of twenty pills at a time #i can easily swallow like 20-30 pills at a time

There were also a couple of notes from people who USED TO do the cursed jello shot but don’t anymore because they choked or, in one case, misfired and spent the day with a Claritin in their cleavage. 

Other things that didn’t occur to me: pills that dissolve under your tongue; people who use feeding tubes; the options of “in order from least tasty to most tasty;” random order; texture order; order in which they were prescribed; “whatever I grab first;” “all at once except the fish oil which is unreasonably large;’ order of how easy it is to swallow; in order of buoyancy because some pills float; by shape; “I only take one pill at once;” “top to bottom of my body so head pills first birth control last.” 

#i dont take any pills reglarly but secret 5th option had me think of someone fucking plinko-ing their pills

✧｡ alas , making s’mores and volleyball are two different activities ; and you end up doing most of the work

✧｡ but it’s okay ! you don’t mind , and hinata insists on roasting the marshmallows to make up for it

✧｡ you’re laughing as hinata tries to roast both of your marshmallows at the same time with one stick in each hand , but it’s not exactly working as well as he’d like it to

✧｡ shoyo sweetie you dropped a marshmallow in the fire

✧｡ oh dear , there goes the other one

✧｡ “ nope ! do not touch the sticks , y/n ! i got this ! ”

✧｡ yamaguchi can't help but laugh as you audibly gasp at the sight of the black marshmallows at the ends of the sticks

As promised, these are few of the locations I found in Venice, that are definitely worth checking out! 

TOMS flag ship store

Why did I start off the list with a pair of shoes? Well, that's because this pair of Toms came with a cup of coffee! Yes, you heard correctly, their flagship locations greet you with a philanthrophic coffee shop experience. Your cup of coffee purchase goes towards providing potable water for those who don't have access to clean water. To further enrich your experience head to that back of the store where you will find yourself in a surprisingly quite, #HipsterChic lounge, complete with free wifi and indoor/outdoor seating available!

Blue Star Donuts

If you're a donut snob, who only has the taste for thee fanciest icing in all the land, then Blue Star is where you will need to head to.  Except, here you won't find your typical donut, they actually have substituted it with a buttery brioche. Topped off with exotic, herbal, oriental and your typical icing flavors made from locally sourced ingredients. Don't get me wrong, there's no shame in my drunk Krispy Kreme game at 1 am on a weekend, but let's just say; I walked out with 3 donuts, found the nearest curb to sit on, and munched down #noshame. I could have sworn I was in fact eating baked Carebears filled with rainbows, hugs and feelings because you can never eat enough of those lol

So, the reason I added the next location, is because it genuinely caught my attention. It is beautifully designed and its lush plants, random trinkets and bright colors really draws in your curiosity. It is a great store if you are looking to bring home a not so typical souvenir. My souvenirs tend to be objects that are locally made or objects that capture the vibe of the city that are practical or can be worked into my home decor.

Principessa

Are you an eclectic shopper with a nose for amazing vintage fashion finds at a prices that make you squirm inside from excitement? Congrats! We have probably brushed shoulders at a Binge Shoppers Anonymous lol NO. But in all seriousness, this store really has something for all women from the peppy punky rooster to the mature and etherial sun kissed tree hugger. You will probably find your Coachella outfit here!

MOON JUICE

I needed a break from the busy strip so I went off the beaten path a bit in search of something to re-fuel me from all the walking I had done at this point. I found this hidden gem off Rose Ave full of tasty vegan/organic treats, milks, juices and tonics. I only had the opportunity to try three flavors so that is why I am making them my top 3 and they were: Silver Strawberry, Blue Moon Protein and Mango Lassi. I also bought a small jar of Brain Dust (Practical Souvenir) which helps with mood, concentration and energy. It has worked so well that I have incorporated it into my morning routine either mixed into my yogurt or coffee for that extra jolt in the morning. 

In Heros We Trust

I was slowly making my way back to the hostel when I passed by this store. It seemed artsy and whimsical but the storefront typography was edgy so I naturally gravitated toward it. Upon walking in I was amazed at the beautiful art, funky furniture and eclectic fashion pieces that were displayed. Not your average vintage store, the owner informed me that she specialized in designers who were popular during the 90's. Each piece came with a detailed story about the designer. I bought a cute women's sweater, designed by Jhane Barnes, who is an American designer known for her textiles and mens wear. 

The Venice Whaler

Whether you are in the mood for lunch, dinner, or just want to stop and have a drink. The Venice Whaler has got you covered. I'm a Gin & Burger kind of gay, so I ordered the Whaler Burger (voted top ten in LA) and downed it with a couple Californiacation's. First off, that burger hit the MF spot! Definitely on my personal Top 10, the brioche just really brings it all together. The Californiacation made with  cucumber puree, was not only visibly beautiful, but the only drink you should be ordering on a hot summer day.
