"Klaus" July 29th. 2020. Digital media. . . . . Klaus!!! Aka the Seance, aka Number Four, aka the fictional queer junkie that stole our hearts! I loved working on this piece, though his hair proved to be more challenging than I anticipated. I make the background while listening to a podcast on the brutal assassination of the Royal Romanov family so that's fun! I like how it's a bit of an homage to camo, referencing his time spent in the Vietnam war, and a little ghostly with the colors. . I painted this last night 😅😊 the quote and the gold streaks were done by @danielle.j.dow (thank you so much again for helping me, Danielle!!) 😊 this is one of my favorite Klaus quotes 😂🖤💙 the pink is cause of the Klaus’s pink umbrella and the blue is for something that happens later in the first season. I won’t go into anymore detail about it cause I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it and plans to watch it 😅 I know the background isn’t perfect but it’s bold and chaotic just like Klaus and I love it 🥰💙🖤 oh also the second picture is the same photo without the flash, there’s a video of him saying the quote (so you can hear him saying it 😅 and see a little bit of that scene) and the last picture is just a picture of him cause he’s too adorable! 😅🥰 (also, I found the clip from a YouTube video a while ago and cropped it. Watched The Umbrella Academy on Netflix. Although my trepidation got the best of me at first, I was pleasantly surprised as the episodes continued developing. I've come to accept film and comic adaptations must be respected as their own interpretations and I enjoyed some of the changed aspects Netflix decided to take with the story. Some things in the comics I liked better but all in all solid series, can't wait for season 2! Klaus and ofc #05 were the most intriguing and I thoroughly enjoyed their character development. Only thing is I wish Hazel & ChaCha were as notoriously savage as they were in the books haha 😄 Congrats to Gerard Way & Gabriel Ba on their successful series!!

Training day with Klaus went one of two ways. Either they were super productive and managed to learn something new or, they sat and debated the potential limits of their powers for a few hours before realising they’d done nothing. Five was pretty sure this was going to be one of the latter. 

“Time travel’s not like spatial jumps though.” He replied, leaning against the wall in the library. “If it was I’d have done it already, even by accident.” He added, knowing that was a fact. If it was just as easy to travel in time as it was to travel in space he absolutely would have been doing it for years. “Nice theory though Klaus.”
