Hello Bookworms!

I hope these days are treating you well.

*don't zoom in if you don't want spoilers*

I've been sick the last couple of weeks so not much reading has been done.

I have been putting more focus on getting my reading journal ready and playing games with my kids. Plus all of the after school activities that seem to pop up all at the same time.

We did get our tree up. I was so worried about it because of Ash, our kitten, could get into it. But he has done surprisingly well with it. We don't have any ornaments at the bottom just in case.

As for the reading journal, I plan on making 3 videos at the end of this year.

How long does it take you to start a new book after finishing one?

I am getting ready to start City of Ruin by Charissa Weaks.

I absolutely loved The Witch Collector and I am beyond excited to get into this one.

I am also reading One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig and working on my reading journal.

I was able to get all of my tbr books written down in my journal last night. I have over 70 physical tbr books. So my plan next year is to knock out half of those. I look forward to coloring in the little spaces for them.

If you had paranormal powers what would they/you be?

A type of fae with power over elements I feel would suit me just nice.

▪︎

I've been in a reading slump! Ugh! I've started 3 books and can't seem to focus. What I'm reading is good but I get sidetracked and watch videos, play video games or read WebToons.

I'll get back into a good reading groove soon, it just gets frustrating when a slump happens.
