            JJ woke up in Emily’s bed to the morning sunlight streaming in through the window, hitting Emily’s dark hair at just the right angle and making it gleam magnificently.  It was supposed to be the last day of JJ’s TDY in Paris, getting Emily set up with a new identity to keep her safe from Ian Doyle until Interpol could catch him and put him away again.  She was supposed to be boarding a plane back to D.C. in a few hours, but there was no way she could possibly leave this—not after the night they’d had, the things they’d said, the way their bodies and souls just seemed to fit together…

            Emily began stirring.  She opened her eyes and smiled at JJ and kissed her softly and slowly.

            “Come on,” Emily said, sitting up with a soft groan, “We’ve got to get you packed and ready to go.”

            “What—why?” JJ protested.

            “Because you’re getting on that plane.”

            JJ sat up and blinked at Emily, trying to make sense of what she’d just heard.  Emily expected her to leave, to go back to D.C., to go on with her life like nothing had happened, like Emily had died on that table, like she wasn’t very much alive in Paris and in every one of JJ’s waking thoughts.

            “I don’t understand,” she said, “What about you?”

            “JJ, come on,” Emily said, “You know what about me.  You know I have to stay here in Paris until Doyle is caught.  You’re the one who told me that—”

            “No, Emily, no,” JJ shook her head, “What happened to you?  Last night…”

            “Last night, we said a lot of things,” Emily said, “You said I was gonna have to do the thinking for both of us.  Well, I’ve done a lot of it since then, and it all adds up to one thing: You’re getting on that plane and going back to Will, where you belong.”

            “But Emily, no, I—”

            “Now, you’ve got to listen to me.  Do you have any idea what you’d have to look forward to if you stayed here?  I’m dead, JJ; you’d be living with a ghost.  I’ve already had to cut all ties with my old life, and you’d have to do the same—and we have no idea how long I’m gonna be living like this.  I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to go back, and Doyle’s already escaped once, so as long as he’s alive, I’ll always be looking over my shoulder, and you will, too.  Do you really want to live like that?”

            “You’re only saying this to make me go.”

            “I’m saying it because it’s true,” Emily insisted, “Inside of us, we both know you belong with Will.  You love him.  You have a little boy with him.  Your life, your family—everything you’ve built for yourself, it’s all with him.  If you don’t go back to him—if that plane leaves the ground and you’re not on it, you’ll regret it.  Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon, and for the rest of your life.”

            “What about us?” JJ asked, her heart breaking a little more with each word.

            Emily stroked her cheek tenderly and smiled.  “We’ll always have Paris.  No matter what else happens with Doyle and Interpol and everything else, we’ll always have Paris, and we’ll always have last night.”

            “When I said I would never leave you…”

            “And you never will,” Emily said, “But as long as Doyle’s out there, I’ve got a job to do, too.  Where I’m going, you can’t follow.  What I’ve got to do, you can’t be any part of.  JJ, I’m no good at being noble, but it doesn’t take much to see that the problems of three little people don’t amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world.  Someday you’ll understand that.  Now, now…Here’s looking at you, kid.”

swimming, sunbathing, having picnics with Yoongi, napping and making out

sometimes Kook wants to show off to her by diving all the way to the bottom of the lake

he is successful most of the times, returning with a little stone or shell for her which she'll accept with a big smooch to his wet cheek

then they'll take one of Tae's perfectly polished oldtimer cars and drive into town

or a neighbouring town to dance the night away

I think with Armand/Louis it's easier for a lot of people to happily dismiss them because putting them together "cancels out" the two most popular ships in the fandom -- Loustat and Devil's Minion. Which I don't think is true, but I know that's how some tend to see it. With Armand/Lestat, I won over *enough* of the Lestat girlies just by virtue of ✨Lestat✨ being there (by enough I mean like three and I cherish them with my whole entire soul).

But I love Armand/Louis!

I wasn't able to appreciate them properly when I was a baby bat, but once I got older, I realized that there was always something there post-IWTV:

And then Trinity Gate, where Louis later says to Lestat that he found his happiness again, and Armand began to heal. How close Armand and Louis seem to be throughout the last trilogy. I've never heard two platonic friends being described as being the pillars of a household, like c'mon... they're Mom and Dad.

Just like them, it's subtle, but Anne kept all those threads for us the whole time.

Bonus: depending on the timeline you follow, they were only separated for thirty years before coming back together to create Trinity Gate.

Im so freaking happy about Mile/Dior

I was manifesting MileApo for the Paris fashion week bc I really want a pic of them with Jisso/ Sehun/ Jimin(if the the rumors are true and he’s gonna be there) but also bc an international platform will work wonders for them both(not that they already don’t have awesome connections, but it never hurts to acquire more) and bc I’ve been day dreaming of them both having magazines spreads with renown models and artist like for Apo ( MANU RÍOS, ENGFA WARAHA, exos KAI, RAFAEL SILVA the options are abundant) but they need that international platform they are already catching the eye of various brands so it won’t be that hard for them to shine and knowing that this is Apo’s field like he LOVES fashion so I know he thrives on these events ! But yeah can you picture them!! pretty people next to another pretty person omg 🥹😭😭😭

With Mile I also have people in my head and I remember telling my sister like a week ago “if Mile could do an international magazine spread I really would love to see him with Jisoo at some point aesthetically speaking they would look so good next to each other or exos sehun (but they look a bit a like) so I’m still thinking about it lol ” and look at him now I was screaming when I saw he was going to the Paris Show hopefully he gets more connections ( and maybe a pic with her 😅) I know for a fact he’s going to thrive !!!

This whole "Messi returning to Barca" has wholly torn me. On the one hand, I know that he'll once again become the scapegoat for their failures (thankfully there aren't many recently). On top of that, there are the coolers. Some of them have already started to spew shit like "We don't need him", "we should look at the future", "he can't do what he used to", and "let's not bring him back". They say these things as if Barca's relevancy for the last two decades isn't because of Leo. He gave his blood and sweat for this club and they're so ungrateful for that. They're already saying "he won't fit" or "he'll take someone else's minutes" like STFU <3 Lionel is the reason your club has had any glory in the past two decades whatsoever! Also, I'm afraid they're only calling him back to earn more, instead of a long-awaited reunion. If that's the case, they'll just treat him like a cash cow and I don't want that to happen. He loves Barca too much.

On the other hand, I am sobbing at the idea of him being presented at Camp Nou and being cheered on by thousands of his fans. If they let him showcase his world cup too, I'll evaporate. Paris has literally sucked the happiness out of him. He has always said he loves football and wants to enjoy it as much as possible but Pee Ess Gee has taken out all the joy from the sport so I want him out at any cost. I would've loved for him to go to City but Barca is the best second option simply because the real fans love him more than anything and he deserves to feel all that love in the last years of his career (said while sobbing). Plus the teammates! I can't wait to see him play with Pedri, Busi, and Lewa! I understand we might be clowning for no reason but I genuinely want him to leave Baguette FC.

I may have had to stare at this ask for a few minutes and think before answering this asjakdjkjdj, oh wow okay let's do this (this is about to get very long and i might end up rambling too much, i apologize lmao)

I have always loved their dynamic since season 1. Their dynamic and their interactions is what got me to love this show, to be honest (I was not interested in the show at first because it was a show about football and I could not care less about sports hahaha) and the way the show developed them was so beautiful. Personally, while I was watching the first season, I already shipped them but I would have been okay with them being friends or platonic soulmates, as they call it.

However, season 2 changed that for me. Carol of The Bells was the episode that made me want them to be together. At that point, I could not imagine them not ending up together. Which is why it was so upsetting when after that episode, they did not interact with each other that much throughout the season, which was odd. I still loved the scenes we got though and it did not made me love them less. I just thought, maybe when they are both out of the dark forest they'll interact more next season.

Now onto season 3......oh boy. Okay, I thought that their dynamic in this season was great and I am glad they got more interactions together (still less than what we got in the first season, but they did talk to each other more than in season 2). With Rebecca's storyline with Tish and her "hints", I was really hoping that they would all lead up to Ted. I mean, with the green matchbook, shite in knighting armor and "you will have a family, you're going to be a mother", they could all lead up to Ted, it makes sense. Also, the very laced hallway scene (which apparently, meant nothing lol) did convince me they would happen. Then the rest of the scenes we got made me think they could possibly be endgame (Rebecca using Oklahoma on Ted TWICE, the phonecall in We'll Never Have Paris, Rebecca keeping the green army man all along 😭 and the last scene in International Break "I wanna win for us too") just for me to be at peace with them not getting together at all in Mom City (well, his last scene with Dottie and the third truth bomb hinted that Ted's leaving, so)

Now onto the finale, I thought their last scenes together were great (even though the stands scene and the airport scene stung, but it did hurt so good lol, and the scene of them in rebecca's house....what the hell was that) and I did expect them to not end up together, fine by me, but what made me angry was their individual endings. Ted goes back to Kansas (even though during his scenes in the airport, I felt that he was about to decide to stay last minute) and there are implications that he's not keeping in touch with everyone from Richmond and Rebecca sees a little girl and gets together with boat man who I couldn't be bothered with. Both of them deserved better than the endings they got.

So, even though I was not a fan of how both of their characters ended up in the finale, I will always love whatever they had. I will always love the connection they have and shared (which it turns out, according to brendan, is not what they have planned after all and was made by accident lmao). I believe they could have been great together and maybe in another time, they'll end up together. We'll never see it but maybe they will find each other again and both of them will be ready for each other (I may have decided on seeing them as a right person, wrong time ship and embrace the angst)

Anyways, if you've read this and you hated whatever happened in the finale, here's what you can do: you can consider International Break as the series finale (and tbh it should have been the series finale, except there could be more scenes of Ted) or watch this alternate ending or read a ton of fix-it fics on ao3, there are great ones in the Ted Lasso/Rebecca Welton tag <3

I think you're a hopeless romantic when you're young. I used to be a hopeless romantic. I read a lot, I've been reading novels since I was 8 years old and I always loved writing and I would write all my dreams and hopes in my diaries. I still keep them and I read them like once a year, so not only I remember how I was but thanks to my diaries, there's proof that I was severely hopeless romantic. I loved pride and prejudice; I read the book when I was 10 and I was OBSESSED with it, I wrote so much about Darcy on my diaries 😭 and I dreamed of love like that. The next year I realized I like women, didn't see that one coming. Until I was around 14 I used to daydream excessively about love. I used to daydream about being Lizzie McGuire and sneaking out the hotel window and meeting Paolo and being a worldwide star simultaneously and then kiss my best friend under the stars and know that had been the love of my life all along. All these dreams were about men, too. At that age I never consciously made the association between romance and women. I knew I wanted to kiss girls, I just never daydreamed about marrying and being swept off my feet by Ms. Darcy. It was always a Mr.

In my experience, that's being a hopeless romantic person, and I think JK is that type. He said he'd watched Titanic and thought "ah, so this is what love must be like" 💀 I mean if you think so 😨 but I honestly never thought of him as an actual romantic guy. Sure! He has moments where he is romantic, there are quite a few, but just like I said the other day about having moments of jealousy, it doesn't make him a romantic person by definition imo. I know BTS have said that he's romantic because he cries watching movies which... that's being sentimental at best, or like I said, a hopeless romantic. It's hopeless, it doesn't actually have any chance in reality.

I think Jimin had moments of being a hopeless romantic, too, like telling Jungkook "I'd go to the moon with you", that phrasing was very much hopeless romanticism. They'll never go to the moon, but Jimin wanted to say that he'd follow Jungkook anywhere. Jimin posting a video of them watching the first snow together was also very hopeless, cinematic, idealistic romanticism. Jimin saying that if he were stranded on a deserted island, he'd want Jungkook to be with him.

Jimin has some of those moments of hopeless romanticism, they are very very few tho. I actually see his explicit actions and words as romantic. Getting close enough to kiss JK's neck while asking him for food. "The thing I enjoy the most these days is waking up and seeing Jungkook" I MEANNN... I know a lot of us would be blushing and kicking our feet at having someone say that to us (just like the be jealous I'll keep holding Jimin). When he touched JK's chin and told him I love you in the New Jersey 2019 live. That time in 2019 while filming an end of the year performance that fans said that Jimin went to sit on the stairs and he was like "Are you guys army? My favorite member is Jungkook." PLEASE 😭 Pretending like he's still in Paris and then showing up at JK's birthday party. That time in 2018 he was in Japan for schedules with vhope and only Jimin came back to Korea for Valentine's Day and the next day he was out with JK and sungwoon. Like I don't even think they were dating back then but even as a friend is a very romantic thing to do.

I think it was romantic of him to keep his hand on JK's thigh for almost the whole dinner.

Yeah 🥲 I'm not even sure Jimin would describe himself as a romantic person, but a lot of what he says and does it what romanticism means to me so I see him as romantic.

I think Tae is also romantic, tho a different kind of romantic from jimin. I imagine Tae as the type who would do the whole expensive dinner dates in Paris, the cruises, the exotic beaches, the first snow, the Christmas eve beside the fireplace and the candle lit roses on bed anniversary night.

In short, I'd say JK is the hopeless romantic who's more idealistic and imaginative than actually romantic in real life. Jimin is the type of romantic with everyday interactions and small and big gestures and words, stuff you actually see and can measure. His commitment and loyalty, his attention and care are what's romantic for me, even if he will never bring you home a bouquet of roses. Taehyung is a romantic of grand gestures for special occasions, probably not an everyday thing.

Then I have a feeling that Hoseok might also be the type of romantic that Taehyung is, tho I don't have a lot of "proof" for it, it's just a general vibe I get from his personality, the way he always gives presents to the members, and how he's openly attentive and caring to them. I think that he also might do the candlelit Christmas Eve by the fireplace.
