He wasn't planning on making a public address otherwise, he was just going to leave them hanging.

Looking at the publication timeline, Megatron started out as an established Evil McEvilson-type villain similar to how he is in G1 and it's not until Chaos Theory in 2011 that JRo really gave him a sympathetic backstory that drew his characterization away from the bloodthirsty pugno ergo sum warlord into someone who once held ideals about societal reform and remains convinced of his own moral supremacy throughout the 4 mill years of death and war, adding worldbuilding such as Functionism/oppression/government corruption as justification for the beginning of the Decepticon movement. But because the start of the Decepticons was already written in Megatron Origins and every evil thing he'd done up till Chaos Theory can't be retracted and they had to keep Megatron as a villain until his story was no longer central to the Autobot-Decepticon war line, and JRo didn't try to downplay the atrocities he'd committed (some of the most sadistically disturbing things Megatron did were exclusively in MTMTE flashbacks), but rather tried to distance him from them and placed the focus on the juxtapositions to emphasize change, this as a whole just resulted in Evil McEvilson getting turned into Hyper McHypocrite.

Jason Todd is alive. Jason Todd is sitting two feet away, talking about a case.

You can't quite believe it. You went home two days ago and expected to wake up to the whole thing being a dream or the result of a Poison Ivy hallucinogen.

You can't stop staring at him. It's weird. You're being weird. But you can't help it.

Every time you see Jason, you want to look at him for as long as possible. You don't want to forget his face. This new face. Scarred and hardened, but still good. Still loved.

And, well. It's not like Jason's bad looking. Sure, you thought he was cute when you were teenagers. Resurrection makes the heart grow fonder, et cetera.

But now? Now, Jason makes your heart stupid. You can barely contain your desire. It's been two weeks since he revealed himself, and every time you see him, you have to dig your nails into your palms to keep yourself from showing him what he does to you.

Sometimes you think he sees right through you, but if he does, he never acts on it.

"—listening. Yo. Ground control to Major Tom. Are you with me?"

Jason waves a hand in front of you. You blink.

He's unmasked and in a Fleetwood Mac t-shirt and dark jeans—the most comfortable you've seen him, actually. His hair is still wet from his shower.

"Sorry," you say, suddenly zeroed in on the three droplets of water sliding down his neck. "I'm listening. Just looking at you."

"'Cause I'm so pretty?" Jason asks, batting his lashes.

You reach over without thinking. He freezes when you wipe the water off of his neck. Then you tuck a curl behind his ear.

"You should let me blow-dry your hair," you say, taking your time in dropping your hand. "It'll take ages to dry in this humidity."

Jason's eyes have gone wide. Pink splotches bloom on the apples of his cheeks.

"Uh." He swallows. You watch his throat bob. "Thanks. Maybe... next time."

"I'll steal Dick's. He's got the fancy sixteen setting one."

That makes Jason smile. "Hm. Some things never change."

His eyes crinkle at the corners. Fondness swells swiftly in your chest.

You stay like that for a moment, caught in each other's orbit.

Jason breaks it first, leaning away. "Right. You should probably get back to the Manor. Br–the others'll probably think I kidnapped ya."

You shrug. "I quit."

"What?"

"Bruce was getting on my last nerve. I can't work with someone like that."

Jason snorts. "Join the club. Look, I can't say I'm not thrilled that you're stickin' it to the old man. But if this is 'cause of me... I wouldn't be mad if you kept workin' with him. Honest. If that's what you wanna do, don't let me stop you."

"Jason." You rest your hand atop his. "I joined this life because of you. To honor you. You taught me how to help people, not Bruce. You taught me what it meant to be kind, to be a part of something bigger than myself."

To love, you don't say.

"I..." He shakes his head. "You became Nocturne for me?"

You close your eyes, then open them. You've cried so many times. You don't want to stay in your grief any longer. Not when he's right in front of you.

"When you died, I..." You take a deep breath. "Nocturne was something to ground me. I think Bruce recognized that. I think he knew how much you meant to me. He didn't have to take a chance on me, and I appreciate that he did. But I've realized that he doesn't know everything. Can't see what's right in front of him sometimes."

You squeeze Jason's wrist. He sighs.

"God, I'm sorry," he says.

"What're you sorry for, Jay? You came back. That's all I ever wanted."

Jason chews his cheek for a moment. Then he stands, chair scraping the floor.

"C'mon," he says.

You follow him to the living room. He moves the armchair, the couch, and rolls up the rug. He disappears down the hall and returns with two thick mats. He tosses them onto the floor.

"Uh..." you say. "What're you—"

"'M gonna show you what y'did wrong that night on the roof."

"Wow. Can't believe you're still single. Being reminded of my shitty combat skills gets me so hot."

Jason rolls his eyes. "Alright, smartass. Just 'cause you quit the Bats doesn't mean you won't go out there and keep helping people. I know you. The least I can do is pick up where Dickface left off in your training."

"The least you can do, huh? I think you just wanna pin me against the floor again," you say, smirking.

He clears his throat. "That—no."

"No?" You step closer and look at him through your lashes. You're so close, you're touching his chest. "What happened to tying me up 'cause I was out when I shouldn't have been? Isn't that another educational technique?"

Jason's throat bobs. "That wasn't—I was just saying things."

"Hm. That's too bad."

You skip right past him, onto the mat, and hold out your arms.

"Okay. Put the moves on me, J.P."

It takes Jason a moment to craft his usual poker face. When he does, he groans. "'M not an evil Gilded Age financier. Still don't like 'J.P.'"

"But you like me-ee," you sing-song.

He shrugs. "Sometimes. Until you give me a heart attack and run into a burning building."

"Wish I could've seen your face for that one," you say as you steel your shoulders and secure your feet.

"Better you didn't. I'm sure there was a vein or two popping outta my forehead." Jason cracks his neck. "Ready?"

"Lay it on me, big guy."

"You first. Attack me like you normally would."

So you do. You step forward and throw a punch similar to the one from your rooftop spar. Jason catches it, of course. But this time, he locks you in a hold. One leg is between yours, and your arms are twisted behind your back with one hand. Humiliating.

"Dude!" You wiggle. Jason doesn't yield. "Jay, come on. No petty criminal is gonna know how to do all that."

"I know. The point of this is for you to know how to use someone's size against them."

Jason presses his cheek against yours. You tamp down your shiver. You can hear his heartbeat.

"Take a breath," he murmurs.

You close your eyes and breathe. Jason's grip doesn't hurt, but you're frustrated by how predictable you are. How he knows your body. A part of you is missing in not knowing him the way he knows you.

"Alright," he says. "Think. What part of me is exposed?"

"Not the important parts, I hope."

You can feel his eyeroll.

"You're hilarious. C'mon, focus. What can you attack?"

"Um... your legs. You trapped my arms, but my and your legs are free."

"Good." The praise warms you. Being this close to Jason will never get old. "What else?"

"What else? Do you have a tail I don't know about?"

"Sucha wiseass," he says, mouth close to your ear. "Your head. You're still able to move your head, and you're close to my face."

"Yeah, I'm not headbutting you. Out of the kindness of my heart."

"I appreciate that, sweets. Sweep my leg."

So you do. Jason goes down easier than he normally would for your benefit.

"'Kay," he says, once again underneath you. Now you have his hands pinned. "Good. Remember what went wrong last time?"

"You bucked me off like a Clydesdale."

He smiles. "Yeah, okay. So what'll you do different?"

"I'm not in my suit," you say. "I don't have extra weight in my boots."

"No, but you don't need it if you keep my legs apart."

"So that was your plan all along, huh? Perv."

Jason coughs. "Ah-hum... I—c'mon, lock my legs."

You grin and spread Jason's legs, using your knees to keep him immobile.

And then you just stare. This time, it's not because you're thinking about the miracle of resurrection (though what a miracle it is). No, you're just thinking, once again, about how your best friend got really, stupidly pretty.

And how you really, stupidly wanna kiss him.

Jason still looks young, but his jaw is now defined. He's got a five o'clock shadow coming on. His lips are full and pink. Freckles dot his cheeks and nose. The nose that still has a bump from when he broke it during a fight with Riddler.

You remember how he played it off for weeks. Bruce said that didn't even cry. But when you asked if it hurt, Jason had said yes.

You wonder when the last time Jason cried was. You wonder how much pain he's suffered since.

You wonder if he knows he's got your heart in the palm of his hand.

"Hey," Jason says. His voice is soft. Shy. "I lose ya again?"

You shake your head. "No. Never."

"There somethin' on my face?"

"You're a lot to look at," you say. "Pretty, pretty boy."

That gets an undeniable reaction. Jason Todd has never been able to take a compliment. You've been exploiting that all day.

Perhaps you know him better than you thought.

He exhales sharply, like you've sucker-punched him. His eyes dart to you. Waiting.

"Your eyes are green," you say. "Like, mixed. Blue and green."

Jason nods. "I—yeah. The Pit. Changed 'em. Changed me."

You lean in. His gaze flicks to your mouth. You watch his Adam's apple bob in a hard swallow.

"They're still pretty," you say. "Always had pretty eyes, Jaybird."

"Heh, right. Even with this shit?" He points to the scar that crosses over his right eye, stopping at his lip.

You let go of his wrists—not that you were holding them that tightly anyway. If this were a real fight, you would've lost ten times over already. Considering how much of you is touching Jason, you happen to be winning hard.

You trace the puckered white flesh with your thumb. Jason flinches but doesn't pull away.

"Your face could never turn me away," you say. "Never."

He closes his eyes and shudders. "Y'too nice to me. Always so nice t'me. Even when we were fighting. Why're ya so good?"

Your lips are a hair from his now. "I don't know how to make it more obvious, Jaybird. I'm absolutely insane about you."

Jason's eyes fly open. He sees your mouth and his breathing increases. You smile.

"Yeah, want you bad. No place I wouldn't follow you. Do anything for you."

Jason makes a strangled noise in his throat. You grin.

"C'mon, big guy. I'm right here. Come have me, Jay. I'm yours."

Jason soars up and kisses you. Swallows you, really. His hands hold your waist for dear life. You wrap one leg around his.

You nip his lip. Jason whines softly. Delicious.

You grab his face, fingers tangling in his curls. Jason sits up, slotting you against him. One hand supports you on your back, the other on your side.

"God—" He breaks away, just barely. "You're way too good for me. Had sucha... sucha crush on ya when we were kids. Y'so sweet."

You blindly find his throat and bite, hard enough to leave a mark. Jason makes a guh sound. You lick the bite to soothe it.

"Missed you," you say into his skin. "Missed you so goddamn bad, Jason."

"Yeah. Yeah, yeah," he babbles, clinging to you as you kiss up his neck. "Yeah, missed you too."

"Not letting you go," you say, almost snarling. You're angry with want, angry at the world for keeping this from you for so many years. "It's you and me now, Jay, mkay? Gonna be mine?"

"Always been yours," he says, panting. Jason finds your lips again. The kiss is messy, uncoordinated. Full of love. "No one but you."

You haven't fallen behind. You're starting anew.

So basically it's readers first time at track and she's there for the whole weekend cos her exams just finished or smth and the other drivers only know abt her cos of like 1 or 2 pics on arvids insta (yl thos like soft launch type of ones) but they don't know anything ant her. So throughout the day they're just noticing all the stuff he does for her like the sidewalk rule (he notices she's by the sidewalk and puts his arm around her waist to move her to make sure she's safe), asking her if she's eaten. Anyways their in the bus going to track or smth and hes asleep on her shoulder while she plays with his hair or hoodie so the other drivers are teasing her and he wakes up and is like baby why aren't u paying attention to me

a/n: this was so fun to write?? i love sleepy arvid actually

You’ve been counting down the days until your exams were over, not just for the relief of finishing them, but because it meant you could finally spend a whole weekend at the track with Arvid. 

It’s your first time here, and you’re buzzing with excitement and curiosity. The smell of gasoline and burnt rubber fills the air, mingling with the cheers and shouts of the crowd. 

It’s a world you’ve only seen through Arvid’s phone, the multiple video calls and pictures didn’t do any justice to the true atmosphere of the paddock, it feels completely disconnected from the world outside.

Now, you’re here in the flesh, and the attention is almost palpable. The other drivers keep glancing your way, probably piecing together who you are.

 It’s amusing and a little nerve-wracking, but Arvid is right beside you, his presence a comforting anchor in this whirlwind of new experiences.

“Have you eaten?” Arvid asks, his voice soft yet insistent. He’s always like this—making sure you’re taken care of, sometimes even before you realise what you need. 

“I grabbed a snack earlier,” you reply, smiling up at him. He gives you a look that says he’s not entirely convinced but lets it slide for now.

As you walk through the paddock, you notice how Arvid subtly manoeuvres you to his other side, positioning himself between you and the bustling crowd. 

His arm gently wraps around your waist, guiding you away from the edge of the sidewalk. It’s a small gesture, but it makes your heart flutter. 

“Safety first,” he murmurs with a grin when he catches your eye. 

The other drivers are clearly intrigued. You catch snippets of their conversations, whispers about who you might be and what your relationship with Arvid is. 

They’ve seen those photos—your hand in his, a candid shot of you laughing at something he said, your silhouette as the sun sets behind you. Now, seeing the way he cares for you, their curiosity only deepens.

The day is a blur of races, debriefs, and adrenaline. You’re swept up in the energy of it all, your excitement matching the roar of the engines. 

Arvid checks in on you frequently, whether it’s to hand you a bottle of water, share a quick kiss, or simply squeeze your hand as he passes by. 

You can tell his friends are watching, their teasing glances and knowing smiles not lost on you.

As the sun begins to set, signalling the end of the day’s events, you find yourself back on the bus with the team, heading to your hotel. 

Arvid is sitting beside you, exhaustion evident on his face. You can’t help but smile as you watch him struggle to stay awake.

“Go ahead and rest,” you whisper, brushing a strand of hair away from his face. “I’ll wake you when we get there.”

He gives you a sleepy nod, his eyes already closing as he leans his head on your shoulder. You can feel the weight of his trust and affection, and it makes your heart swell with emotion.

As the bus starts moving, you absentmindedly play with Arvid’s hair, twirling strands around your fingers. His eyes are closed, his breathing steady and calm. You can feel the tension of the day melting away from both of you.

“Look at them,” one of the drivers whispers, not quite as quietly as he thinks. “So cute it’s disgusting.”

Another laughs softly. “Arvid’s totally whipped.”

You laugh softly, feeling a mix of embarrassment and affection. Just as you’re about to respond, Arvid stirs beside you, lifting his head and blinking sleepily.

“Baby, why aren’t you paying attention to me?” he mumbles, his voice thick with sleep.

The other drivers burst into laughter, and you can’t help but join them. You turn to Arvid, a playful smile on your lips.

“I am paying attention to you,” you say, leaning in to kiss his forehead. “I’m always paying attention to you.”

He grins, wrapping an arm around you and pulling you close. “Good,” he murmurs, resting his head against yours. “Because you’re the only thing that matters to me.”

The rest of the ride passes in a comfortable silence, the gentle hum of the bus and the quiet conversations around you lulling you into a peaceful state. 

You’re aware of the eyes on you, the whispers and the speculation, but none of it matters. All that matters is the boy resting against you, the warmth of his body, and the feeling of his hand in yours.

This weekend is a first for many things—for being at the track, for meeting Arvid’s friends, for stepping into his world. But it’s also a reminder of what you already knew: that no matter where you are or who’s watching, as long as you’re together, you’re home.

Wow 9 years since they broke up, damn - the angst is really gonna ANGST huh, but also the TENSION after so many years apart oof.

Oh man, I wonder how P felt when she first heard about Azzi having a kid. Like I'm sure she would have been happy for her but also them having a family by that point in their lives is something she must have always dreamed about and aw, my heart already hurts a lil bit for P.

Also, imagine Azzi's daughter knowing who P is immediately when she first sees her and P is completely stumped by it. I feel like either Azzi or more likely Azzi's fam would still have so many pics around where P's in it so I feel like Azzi's kid would already have an inherent familiarity with her. Would be even cuter if P was kinda her favourite player (outside of her mum obvs) - I could also totally see Tim being the instigator of that, like he'd definitely be keeping track of all of P's basketball achievements and watching her games and his granddaughter's just his lil sidekick 😌

Agree with other anon that having them on the Valks would be nice haha, yk life imitating art and whatnot 😉. But also, Mystics would make a lot of sense if Azzi's a single parent, so she's close to her support system BUT Tim and Katie would also definitely be the type to move to wherever Azzi is if that's what she needed so I think GSV still works!

Also, them ending back up on the same team in the W - I'm guessing it's cause one of them gets traded or is a free agent, but then the question is did they choose the team knowing the other is there or was it out of their hands? Hmmm.

Paige definitely did not take the news the best. I haven't quite decided how this child came to be but there are definitely ways to really torture Paige with it if I choose to be sadistic about it...

Azzi's daughter definitely knows Paige, not just of her but she's met her at games before I think and she's basically awe-struck by Paige. I have so many ideas about this relationship like I think I'mma enjoy it the most to write.

I do kinda want them of the Valks cause it would just be so fun and I lowkey want to name Azzi's daughter Stephanie (after Steph) so it would just work out really lovely and then Paige would be the one who moves teams and I think that'll probably have to be a trade because Paige isn't willingly going to torture herself ya know? Which tbf I guess is kinda unrealistic because who the fuck would trade Paige but ya lose some ya win some with logistics 😭

I love my kids on most days but the bad days....oh the less said the better but it's definitely a good curveball for my baby fever lol.

thank you!!! I'm glad u like it. I can try my best to explain my process but its very much a 'feel it with my heart' experience. This is gonna be long and incomprehensible but I'm gonna try:

If we're talking about the (above) garth & baby arthur jr pic or the bloody pete pic, I'd say i started to actually render like that in maybe high school art class (they were much worse then ofc because i have years more practice now)? Obviously my process now is different than it was back then, but before I actually started physically painting canvases with acrylics I usually just did line art and color without the blending-painting pizzazz.

Thats actually where I get my weird random interspersed colors in my coloring as well. Acrylics dry super fast and a high school art class is like 45 minutes so I'd have to totally mix a new pallet the next day. Not that I couldn't color match, but its annoying and having variations with colors or just mixing something up to fill in gaps looks neat if you get it right. If it looks bad just paint over it, but its worth it to try.

My process with these is almost exactly like my non painterly rendered ones, just with steps after. Also, you can get away with a lot when not fully rendering, but when i do render PHOTO REFERENCE is to die for. Specifically for the lighting. I can't emphasize this enough. By the time i'm done with a drawing my search history should be like "knees. Knees sitting. Knee anatomy. Harsh light photography. Curly hair. baby. J. C. Leyendecker new year baby" + 8 pictures of u doing whatever pose you're trying to do.

Anyway, the process for me is usually: vague sketch > carve out the lines/neater sketch > flat colors > basic shading/rendering > color adjusting sketch lines (usually from black to dark red) > collapse everything into one layer & get to WORK

I know the 1 layer thing is scary, but thats life. Its easiest to adjust things that way (for me). No need to worry about layers and blending modes cause its all right there. I usually duplicate the layer the drawing is in before I start on something crazy just to reassure myself that if I fuck it up I can go back. So a lot of the time my layers in procreate are progressively more rendered stages of the piece lol.

Now that Im here trying to explain this im blanking on how to actually express it. Lets see. I can run through some general stuff:

For both of those artworks (baby & pete) they're 100% made with HB pencil on procreate (a default brush! I've never downloaded any new brushes cause im lazy). I actually made a brush explanation for someone a few months ago I can put that right here:

the eraser tool is your BEST FRIEND!!!! The way I get my lines and shapes and whatnot is by making big ass strokes and then erasing until whatever I'm looking for reveals itself. Here's a video of that process from the aquababy pic. Ignore the jerky pauses lol. also there's the reference photo!:

rendering itself is really hard to describe. Basically just throw color at it until it works out. (just tried to add a video but tumblr says only 1 video allowed

I'm wondering if you got some more thoughts on the german ghosts? Like when you wrote "love-hungry poet" Friedrich Dorn has a crush on Felix instead of Emma.

Hello fellow Ghosts fan! Thank you so much for your ask and your kind words about my writing! I do indeed have more thoughts on the German ghosts! Bear in mind, they're based on nothing more than a promo picture and short press release so most of them will probably end up being quite wrong.

Joachim strikes me as gentler version of Julian. I think it’s likely he died under similar circumstances – although the lighting in the promo pic almost makes it look like his suit jacket is dirty so maybe he had a tryst outside? It’s also possible something else got him killed (maybe he got mugged?). Anyway, I love that he looks like a typical German guy from the 80s – they really nailed that. If it turns out he has a kid like Julian, I really hope we will see him/her visit German Button House one day.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Richard Dorn declares Schiller, Goethe, Kleist or any other German poet of his time his mortal enemy. Maybe even all of them. As I’ve mentioned before, I’d love to see a twist on the romance plot with him going after Felix instead of Emma (and I really wouldn’t mind him eventually realising that Claudius is right there …). It looks like he got shot just like Thomas so I wonder if we’re going to see another heart-breaking duel, treacherous cousin included.

Adelheid, just like Fanny and Hetty, will probably end up becoming one of my favourites. Her costume doesn’t tell us much but the feather in her hair and fancy dress suggests she didn’t die getting ready for bed. Personally, I'd put a spin on her character by her having an affair with her maid (or the gardener/butler, I suppose) rather than her husband being the one who cheated. It won’t happen like that but I think it’d be a fun way to shake things up.

Now, Claudius I’m already in love with. I was hoping for a Roman character when I made my own German version and I’m glad we’re getting one. Interestingly, Claudius is wearing his helmet and armour and seems to have his sword on him as well but doesn’t look like he’s actually been in a battle – perhaps he died on the eve of one? Since he's based on the Captain, Claudius might very well be gay. Perhaps he had a lover in the army or at home – or he fell in love with the enemy (maybe he drank poison before battle so he wouldn't have to fight his lover). I’d like to think showing emotions is difficult for him (hence why Richard doesn't realise he likes him) and that he speaks Latin when he gets emotional.

Griet is going to be so awesome. I mentioned before that she seems to be the lovechild of Mary and Annie based on her looks and feminist personality, and I am very much here for that. She’s not going to be someone you want to cross and I can very well imagine her being the one who establishes some order in the house. I want her and Adelheid to become besties and the others to be a little scared of her.

Urs gives me younger Robin vibes - by which I mean he comes off as a happier, more naïve and innocent version of Robin. That’s obviously just a first expression based on a single picture but I can see him looking at the world around him in childlike wonder whereas Robin was more sad and jaded. I want him to be curious about the world, about technology (in the sense of wanting to learn and calling the cables worms and cameras metal cows like Mary), and smile in true delight when he sees a butterfly – basically a mix of Robin and a toned down version of Kitty.

Svenni being described as a teacher is really interesting. She gives off elementary school teacher vibes and I would honestly love to see her try to wrangle the ghosts like she would 6-10 year old pupils. That’s bound to be hilarious. She’s not a scout so she probably was on a school trip with her class when she got her arrow. I wonder if she has kids of her own. She doesn’t strike me as a mum which is why I think the “child comes to Button House” storyline would work better with Joachim. I feel like she might be one of those “still waters run deep” characters and will surprise us. I can also really see her bonding with Emma.

I don’t have many thoughts on Emma and Felix yet but one thing I love about them in the promo picture is how done both of them already look. They’ve probably been at the house for only a few weeks and are clearly already fed up with the ghostly shenanigans. I also love how normal they both look. No fancy clothes, no fancy make-up – just two ordinary young people who are in way over their heads.

And finally, the House. Because of Claudius’s presence, I think it will be located somewhere in Western Germany. From the promo picture, it gives off the same vibes as Button House with the large, dark red room, the windows to the right and the wallpaper peeling off the walls. According to the press release, Emma and Felix are planning to turn it into a hotel, and while I hope they will succeed where Alison and Mike failed, I don’t want them to have it as easy as Jay and Sam had it in the US version. I want them to struggle for a few series (insert wishful thinking that it will have more than one series here) and at the very end, finally open their hotel.

I didn't get nearly as many bloopers as I wanted to because I was trying to concentrate and it was literally the last day of Spring so I had to preserve as much sunlight as I could. Basically, Indya is a global celebrity so the amount of random fucking people that kept showing up and passing out made veins I didn't know I had continuously pop out of my forehead and steam shoot out of my ears.

So the beautiful dance pictures you see had all this shit going on in the background: Indya making drinks, random pantless kid, faceless lady and the little heffa who is supposed to be in Copperdale.

This was my first MWS-led wedding. The rice throwing was cute, but I couldn't get a pic because the bride and groom just stand there looking stupid and I forgot to turn off the DOF so you couldn't see the rice anyway. I loved the walking down the aisle and we didn't get sky confetti but we got fireworks during the kiss at the altar which was nice. I love how its not a timed event so you can actually do everything without rushing. I'm sure there are mods to prevent some of what happened from happening but ya girl wasn't about to go downloading a bunch of mods. I honestly did not realize it was day 13 of Spring when Jay was doing those squats you feel me? So this was just as much of a rush for me as it was for them.

5/10 would kinda recommend.

News flash : Timmy went back once again to fucking Daniella. Things seem to be very chaotic between them and i think everytime they're back on, she criticizes him for not being invested enough and basically just wanting to fuck her.

Like, a few days ago when T posted the chanel pics they were back on (she liked some pics, none of Armie's friends did), then Ryan posted a meme about passive aggressiveness (aka "it's fine") and one about a "Deluxe model".

Then just 2-3 days later, things seemed to turn sour between T&D : jps posted "let us leave pretty women to men with no imagination" and "don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it, because what the world needs is people who have come alive". Tyler also reposted a video with someone saying "i love you but i release you (...)" with the caption "i would love to see this dude try this" (could be referring to T telling this to D, although to me he doesn't actually love her). Ryan posted a meme that made me laugh: "anyway if both my unions are on strike, and you see my feet on Onlyfans, no you didn't" (cause at the same time this is all happening, a&t are still in contact, but a doesn't wanna have his heart broken up again by t admitting to him that he's back with d).

Then we got jps posting about someone not doing what they're supposed to do by fear (in this context referring to Tim being honest and leaving D once for all) : "fear is incomplete knowledge" , "a man grows most tired by standing still" and " a day can really slip by when you're avoiding what you're supposed to do".

Now, one thing that really surprised me is that Stéphane seems to be pushing that relationship between D and T : Yesterday and the day before, he posted stories at the EXACT same time D made her posts (once, it could have been a coincidence, not twice), as in to show Timmy that he's on her side.

I'm the crazy obsessed and delusional Indian lady who thinks she's in a relationship with max and some of the things I do may seem similar to kelly or what she has done in the past but I think its the differences that count.

1. Kelly had max right by her side when she made fake accounts and spread rumors about being with him. And his ex gf wasn't still pretending to be his gf on social media or irl.

If I have max by my side rn or when our relationship isn't public yet, I wouldn't be on my phone so much or we would be reading any gossip together and laugh about the fake stuff and then get busy with other stuff 🙈

2. I dont support conservatives especially after posting pro-choice stores on insta. I'm still not sure where exactly I stand on the topic(only when it comes to consensual sex), but I'm open to discussion and learning.

3. I'll never post personal information especially after being asked not to. I dont have anything on insta right now and I will start posting but it's going to be with the approval of everyone that's involved.

And I dont mind answering questions on your blog about our relationship together, now and then when we're free. I have plans to not be so away from the fans during the winter break, cuz I've been there and I know how I've missed him, they don't involve pictures tho.

Mother Miranda and Snow White's Evil Queen

I've long had RE8's Miranda mentally filed under "basically just a knockoff of the Evil Queen from Disney's Snow White," but given the dearth of google hits comparing the two, maybe it does fall to me to point out the obvious.

See it's not just their imperious attitudes, or their dedication to black robes and medieval-style hair-coverings. It's not just their mutual habits of shapeshifting into an elderly hag when they want to sneak around incognito either.

It's not just the fact that one goes after Snow White while the other has it in for Ethan and Rosemary Winters. It's not even just the fact that they're both such horrible step/adoptive mothers to all their children.

Oh no, we're just getting started on everything these two fairy-tale witches have in common.

There's the thing with hearts for one, even if they differ in the fine details. Where the Evil Queen sends out a hunter to rip out Snow White's heart and bring it back in a nice little box (see top pic), Miranda prefers to cut out the middle man and rip out poor Ethan Winters' heart herself (surprisingly, this does not produce more definitive results).

Similarly, Miranda likes to wear a gold mask, whereas the Evil Queen just tends to see a mask in her mirror.

Fashion-wise, they both favour black, white and gold, and they're both big on feathers and halos ‒ but Miranda works more of those elements directly into her outfit, whereas the Evil Queen just hangs out on a throne capped with a big circle of gold peacock feathers.

Mind you, even Miranda was supposed to have a big throne of her own in some early concept art ‒ admittedly it's more game-of-thrones than Disney.

As well-to-do witches, they've both got their sinister underground laboratories to do their dirty work in.

Then there's the crow theme. Miranda can transform into a flock of crows, whereas the Evil Queen just has the one raven pal she hangs out with in her lab.

Need I go on?

Now, if you'd ask me to pick a Disney villain as the basis for a new Resident Evil Big Bad, Snow White is admittedly not the film I'd have gone for. The Evil Queen is so heavily overshadowed by later Disney villains in both style and substance that I spent a number of years assuming she was just Maleficent in a different hat. Heck, the original film doesn't even give her a proper name ‒ wikis are still stuck calling her 'The Evil Queen' to this day.

And it's hard to say Miranda makes much impression herself, overshadowed as she is in popularity by every one of her children and the guy running the merchandise stand out the front, and largely coming across as just a watered-down Dimitrescu. She gets the job done, but she's hardly the one who's going to stay with you.

All that said, if you're going for the original, ur-example of the fairy-tale villainess ‒ the evil stepmother who is also a witch ‒ then Snow White is very much the tale you're looking for. Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty will give you one of the two, but Snow White hits both with one swing. And say what you like about Disney, they've founded an empire on redefining the modern image of fairy tales ‒ 1937's Snow White being where it all began.

Whether the creators of Resident Evil Village were consciously referencing referencing Disney's version of Snow White, or whether they were just drawing from generic fairy tale archtypes isn't terribly important. Separating Disney's influence out of the broader popular imagery associated with fairy tales these days may be impossible anyway.

But if it was deliberate, well, it's pretty hard to fault their choice of sources.

ok but really tho, i did a pic for todoizuocha week that had my magical girl au in it and i actually had the unfinished draft for this prior to said week but i broke down and finished it lol here's the "main" magical girl group for my au

i have like way too much magic system world-building for this au ngl. the main concept is that every magical "girl" gets a crystal called a "heart charm" it chooses a color and an animal based on the person the color is reflected in their charm color and usually their weapons will glow/be that color too (ex; deku's staff having the same green as his charm) it's vaguely implied it's like their heart color or symbolic and colors can change etc. (note animals cannot change only the color can). heart charms also give people certain powers and buffs like for example transforming gives them a physical buff and stamina buff so if they're normally very weak and frail when they transform it buffs them and makes them strong and energized, they also get personalized powers and weapons from their charms which are kinda used as a replacement for quirks lol (ex; bakugou has his gauntlets that let him make huge explosions but he doesn't have his normal small explosions anymore and cant explode stuff when not transformed) the magic weapons they're given are assigned when they first transform and can't be changed they just gotta get creative with em

there's also like this whole thing i have written out for how the outfits work and the squishes, outfits are manifested light and not real cloth so they act as bulletproof armor and can be changed by feeding a squishy a new design (in the au bakugou designed basically all the hero team outfits) also the squishies are like those little magical girl mascot character things and theres only 2 of them in the au but its ofa and afo as these tiny lil squishes and i have designs for both of them too lol (i don't have the pics of them on my pc rn or id add them here)

anyways i have a half-written plot for this au if anyone is like actually interested in this nonsense, but as of right now it's mostly string and sticky notes so its kinda jank lol

You know that I can't pick only one favorite Sabo unit now (& I'm not saying that because I'm indecisive). 🤭

There's a few that I'm not counting, as listed in this post here. I wanted to include honorable mentions (1 non Sugo & 1 Sugo) as well. But I can't fit more pics or animations & I don't have much to say about those two. So I'm going to put them in a different post as well.

Anyway, here are my favorites that I have & like. They're not in any order by the way!

First Favorite Non Sugo Unit:

Bitter Refinement/Sweet Dignity

These two are one of the very first Treasure Map event units we ever got in the game, & it's honestly an endearing unit. I remember having this in my team along with the Christmas Cavendish unit that I also got from Treasure Map. I personally loved the theme & aesthetic. The outfit is lovely, especially the addition of the little dragon on the tie.

I was surprised to know that they gave this unit additional abilities later on if you raised his level limit. He was actually one of the very first units to be given additional abilities. Raising it to the max basically had given his special ability the additional effect to heal the team with 15,000 HP.

Speaking of his special, the animation is really cute despite being on the shorter side. Just look at that smile!

Currently, I use him whenever he is a boosted unit for an event or whenever Valentine's Day comes around. Personally, I wish they made a figure of this specific unit holding the plate of sweets he has in the art because I just love it so much!

Second Favorite Non Sugo Unit:

An Unlikely Alliance/Back to Back Fire Fists

I have to admit, the more I look at Stampede Sabo in general, the more fond I am of the outfit he's wearing. But yeah, this is the one Stampede Sabo unit we have in this game & I just love using him whenever I can.

He basically boosts the attack of three character types, & he's yet to get any additional abilities for his level limit as of now. Still, I do enjoy using him on teams I make up for fun & when he's a boosted character in events.

His special animation is pretty short compared to others, but it does look very nice overall.

A part of me kind of wished he was a Sugo Unit. I just think him being voiced would've been nice. But I'm more than fine with him being a Clash Unit (even though I struggled a bit to get him several times to raise his level limit).

Alright, now for the Sugo Units.

First Favorite Sugo Unit:

Brotherly Bond/Fiery Bond/Declaring Battle Against the Gods

Yes, all three of these are technically the same unit, but they're separated in the character log. This is because the first two came out first. We got the super evolution of the unit later on (last year actually). The fact that it also changes the typing of the unit is amusing. It's actually one of several super evolutions to do that.

But if you were to ask me which one of these three is my favorite, it would actually have to be the super evolution.

I absolutely adore this unit so much, even though he's not considered good in the current meta. A lot of people on my friends list there like to use him as friend captain & that makes me happy to see. Pretty sure it either has to do with the fact that their teams are the types he boosts or they like his super type special.

Also, seeing him all angry in the art & the animation just gets my heart feeling a certain way. I just love a man who will do anything for those who are close to him, okay?

Though I will admit that his optional effect isn't too drastic though (I'll post it later).

Second Favorite Sugo Unit:

Reunion with His Little Brother/Flame to Protect His Little Brother

This unit is one of the Anniversary Units. Still a pretty recent unit in the game too as he's only been around for about 8 months or so.

It's safe to say that I have a lot of love for this unit in particular. Though I'll be honest, there's another unit that's tied with this one. But I'll talk about that unit in the next post I do.

Not only is it referencing a moment that honestly makes me cry, it's also a really wonderful unit that I enjoy using as Captain. This especially goes considering that I like using the units he boosts.

He has quite a wonderful animation too! Compared to other animations, this one had a bit more work put into it (& I don't just mean length wise either).

The fact that it's just that sequence of him dealing with the Marines is so funny. It makes me so freaking happy because of how much I loved that moment. It's another reason as to why I like having this unit in my current main team.

By the way, this isn't the only animation this unit has. They also gave him a special animation for when you complete a super tandem with him & a few specific characters!

The thing is that, again, he's an anniversary unit. So he only comes around whenever they have an anniversary or half anniversary banner. But I'm not exactly in a rush to raise his level limit. He's good as is with what I was able to do in terms of boosting his stats up. Just need to raise his potential abilities.

Overall, I love all the Sabo units I have on the game & I can't wait for any future ones they give us!

Also, if you guys want the animations alone in the posts along with the unit's pics, then I'll gladly do that when I can!

ok yay hi abby from SEVERAL days ago… time to tell you about some flowers 🫶

ok so here’s a beargrass which looks fluffy but isn't and it's weird and funny looking and only really grows in like western north america, like fire country america, because it's a plant that grows back very fast after fires. the second one is a lupine (from when i was at grand teton and there was a place called the lupine meadow and frankly there was NOT a lot of these damn lupines in that meadow...) which is another western north america wildflower and grows easily back after fires. i like lupines because they look sort of like if a delphinium was fucked up, and i almost grew them in my garden this year but my mom said she thought they were ugly so we didn't get those seeds. which is just as well because they probably wouldn't have grown well a la the delphiniums i attempted two years ago... anyway the third one in this row is a sagebrush which grows all over the place in montana and wyoming and idaho, like on the side of the road in fields with cows and shit which is crazyyyy to me because there's no way it's fun for the cows to have their grass all crowded up with these nasty bushes they're not going to eat...

and then the interesting thing about these purple ones is that they were growing in the hot springs in yellowstone, which is basically volcanic ground where not much grows. and the second one is a thistle that i just thought looked a little insane, like she's huge... and the third one is scarlet trumpet, another classic western north america wildflower, and they allegedly can grow to 6 feet tall!

and then these are indian paintbrushes/scarlet paintbrushes (i saw both names equally as often idk girl) that i think i already talked about but i just loved them <3 i actually got a pair of earrings that had a pattern of this flower on them because i liked them so much... yay flowers boooo not being able to grow them at home due to the climate differences! and the last one is a larkspur which is a kind of delphinium but not the kind that looks like a tower of flowers like a lupine. heart

OH BOY OH BOY TIME TO TALKABOUT STUFF REGARDING THESE PICS

W.I.P's because i got rlly burnt out and lost motivation to draw gijinkas....sad...

I still am btw, they're just so scary to draw! The proportions! The BODIES! As soon as i finally finished planning their poses, all my art juice ran out....

So i tried to do a simpler one like the right pic, where the two are chibis instead. Unfortunately i also never finished it, I wonder why? 🤔

Also for the first pic, i had a kickass fic planned too! Just like with Star Ninja. Basically DMK goes around asking everyone what present he should get and buys a shitload of valentines day gifts! All execpt for chocolate. After he saw Galacta Knight getting sick from eating so much chocolate, he decided it was best to buy something inedible instead.....(man he got so much chocolate from the waddle dees! He couldn't bring himself to waste it all too!)

Then a bunch of stuff happens that causes DMK to loose his gifts one by one. He gets really upset and goes take a small deppression walk. Though, coincidentally, Gala was also taking a walk at the very same place and DMK notices him from afar. In a panic, he just steals a random heart balloon from a balloon vendor because he didnt want to seem empty handed. GK rushes to DMK, he hands him the balloon aaaaaannddd.......

Gala literally cries and pulls him in for a spinny hug! Things went well and DMK still managed to give Gala a memorable present.

Thats why u see the
