wish there were more movies that give off the feeling that event horizon, hellraiser, and annihilation give off
#scatmaan complains#yk just that cosmic unknown horror#the design of the unknown horrors in these movies is just#*chefs kiss*#like theyre basically objects but theyre not#theyre also creatures or constructs or gods or aliens or all of the above#its FUN#its GOOD#its SEXY#leviathan is one of my most favorite designs#i want to FUCK that ancient god of torture#i think where a lot of movies go wrong#is making the design of the unknown thing#way too humanoid#like just make it a Shape#or they try to explain waaay too much#like ik theres deep lore for hellraiser#n maybe its bc ive only seen the movies#n read the books#not the comics#but leviathan still feels so unknown to me#mainly bc the story focuses on the smaller characters#leviathan is just in the distant bg#looming ....
