...spending the night with Alhaitham for the first time and discovering the worn sumpter beast plushie stuffed between several pillows at the foot of his bed. You don't make any comment, why would you when you could be focused on him undressing instead, but the image sticks in your mind.

It's not before a few months later that you learn the truth. Having waited outside the door for at least ten minutes, you let yourself in only to find him busy grumbling to himself while cleaning a bit of blood from his hands. He quietly explains that he'd been trying to learn how to sew (it was a fair bit harder to do well than expected). When you ask what exactly he needed made, he hesitates for a moment before pulling out the stuffed animal, one of its legs dangling precariously and stuffing spilling out.

His grandmother made it, and although he doesn't exactly need it to sleep any longer, the thought of it falling apart isn't one he wants to face.

I had so so much fun to work on this - any excuse to incorporate music, especially will wood and especially the Self-iSH aesthetic is a good one heheheee :D

The patterns on the border are edited but ripped straight from the Self-iSH album cover so credit to Will Wood for that ! Song featured in the background is The Song With Five Names by Will Wood and The Tapeworms. Thought this section would fit well since Sushine and all that jazz :3

Sorry I had to stray from the original design a bit - admittedly I know Saturn’s arms aren’t symmetrical but I couldn’t really make it work with the tools/skills I had on hand :( [also I’m soso sorry for forgetting their lapel pin- I don’t have a good reason I just forgot about it I’m so sorry 😭]

This was great rendering practice for me since I like. Never render lol- it definitely could be better but I’m fairly happy with how it turned out :D

I have an Atom ask because as soon as I realized they were a bundle of worms I was obsessed.

So, I don't find worms the most adorable thing in the world, like I would a puppy, perhaps, but I do enjoy the occasional noodle. They are silly little dudes that help with my compost which I salute them for (makes my plants grow better, amazing fertilizer guys, keep it up).

I would love to hold worms in my hands, but they are not very keen on sunlight or being out of their beloved dirt. HOWEVER. Pookie Atom.

How would Atom react to an MC who was elated to have such a pal, and that was infatuated with them as well? Can I swim in Atom?
