I woke up for a 4 am livestream of a musical produced by my favorite idol group and apparently my favorite member who is purple plays a shy character who has a crush on the theater troupe's lead songstress. (She does wear purple in the musical but her character's usual uniform isn't). She faints a couple times because of it 🤣 (She also plays a cook so I can 100% sneak her into Toufu 😏)

And then there's Rita "Jealousy Brasieri" Kaniska. Rita "If Morfonia asks, I will unmask for her" Kaniska. Rita "I am impartial, but if you're in any danger, I want to save you" Kaniska.

...The worst thing about being a nofu while having KingOh brainrot is the fact that any song could apply to characters or ships. "Positive Attention Please" is literally what could've been a Himeno song from when she was a princess if you replace every "Reni-chan" with "Himeno".

Dakishimete Anthem is one of those songs that I would name as the best song of the year every year even if it's like, ten years old. Unlike songs like MomoClo's Wani to Shampoo (which has definitely lost appeal the more the girls grow apart from being high schoolers), this has a timeless quality to it, even fitting quite well with the jazz band Shachi has permanently now.
