Yknow I feel like I should have a main post where I share my Milgram opinions/verdicts (thought of this bc i was writing my sister's opinion on the milgram characters). So I'll go character by character.

Haruka: I relate to him a bit (shitty mother, intrusive homicidal thoughts, neurodivergence). I def feel bad for him but hes still really guilty in my mind. I just think the whole killing for attention thing is a really dangerous mindset you can't just get out of, especially if you're being told you're not in the wrong. And it definitely seems like he doesn't actually feel bad for the girl he killed, just feels bad because people are mad at him for it. Idk. But I enjoy his dynamic with Muu a lot, even tho its toxic i just think its really interesting. But I wish him the best and he deserves a hug. His songs are mid tho (/hj i like them)

Yuno: I love her personality and I think shes so fun, but I honestly don't think about her a lot compared to the others. But I love her and specifically enjoy her dynamics with (obv mostly in fan content) Kazui, Mahiru and Fuuta. Her and Fuuta are such a good platonic ship (romantic is fun too). Innocent vote, obv. I like her songs, but Tear Drop moreso than Umbilical.

Fuuta: Oh my god I wonder what I think of him. In all seriousness he's a major hyperfixation of mine at like every given moment. I adore him and i think he deserves better and to be innocent. Like he feels so guilty for what he did and he didn't know any better, everyone around him was encouraging his behavior and praising him for it. But then it got too far and all his friends abandoned him and blamed him like. Poor fuuta :( and he's like 100% right when he says him and es are exactly the same. On another note, major fan of 0309 (romantically, but either way works), and also love his dynamic with Haruka, Yuno, Mahiru, Amane and Es. His songs are both in my top three (backdraft being #1)

Muu: Tied for my fav character(? Fuuta might beat her idk) I love her personality and vibe and everything just ❤️❤️ queen shit. And her queen bee design is gorgeous. Typically my favs are men but shes one of the first women ive hyperfixated on this much. Again, love her dynamic with Haruka, not from a like. healthy relationships could make the characters better standpoint, but from a story perspective its interesting. But yeah guilty. As for her songs, INMF is my #2 and i like After Pain

Shidou: Honestly I used to be kinda indifferent about him and just found him to be boring but then I rewatched his voice dramas and read some fics and I like him more now. I feel really bad for him bc he went through a really shitty situation which he felt he had the power to change and was stuck in a shitty moral dilemma bc of it. And in the end he did shitty things to save those he loved and it didn't even matter. He feels so guilty and doesn't deserve it. Innocent <3. Also romantic 0507 ftw (0506 is cool too). Him and Amane are silly too. As for his songs i like them, but they're not my fav

Mahiru: i like her, but im not too like. invested in her ig. But i feel bad for her :( she just wants to feel love and like. clearly she did something wrong but she didn't know she was. She never intended to hurt anyone. So innocent. Unless we find out she like. did something really fucking bad then maybe guilty. But in I Love You it implies it was a mutual toxicity so it probably wasn't something super terrible? But anyway. I love her with like all the characters cuz shes just so fun to see interact w others, but specifically with Yuno, Fuuta, Shidou, Amane and Mikoto.

Kazui: Hes so fun i love him. Like all he wants is to be honest and be himself but he feels pressured to lie and then finally he tells the truth and his wife fucking kills herself like- jeez- poor guy. Like following the gay theory, i get why she mightve done it (imagine being told the romance you built your entire life around for like 20 years was all a lie, and that your husband never actually loved you and just pretended to and every time you kissed or something he was just pretending like. that sucks poor hinako) but its so awful that he had to go thru that. But anyway innocent, kazui come out we accept you. And stan 0507. Song wise cat is easily #4 but. half is ok ig

Amane: Yknow i love amane but I also hate her and i think part of that might be the fandom? idk. I feel sorry for her bc she grew up in such a shitty situation but also i think shes beyond the point where we can uninstill those ideologies. Like shes 12, not 5. And amane says it herself that she has as much of a free will as everyone else and that her decision to kill/stay in this environment should be valued. Not that i think she should remain in this abusive situation, but she's not just some innocent kid whose being manipulated, she knows what she's doing. Hence, guilty. I don't think either vote will change her or anything so im voting with my honest opinion. As for dynamics, i love seeing her interact with all the other prisoners, but especially Shidou and Fuuta.

Mikoto: I love mikoto a lot but im so on the fence about his verdict. Ive been voting him innocent but theres still a part of me thats like. debating it. Bc he shouldn't have to be punished for John's actions, and it sucks that that's the situation hes in, but its that or more murders are left to occur. The main reason i say innocent is under the idea that John could go dormant or just stop fronting as much if we reduce mikoto's stress (like he says will happen i think). But hes so complex and fun i love mikoto. Specifically i love romantic 0309 but also his dynamic w the smoking group and mahiru. Also i love his songs.

Kotoko: I love her but also fuck her for hurting fuuta (and mahiru too but mainly fuuta). She annoys me bc she was so quick to almost murder several people based on a preliminary verdict that was made using little information. Like she knew this wasn't a concrete verdict, but attacked them anyway. I get her ideology of "kill people who evade justice to protect the weak" but only when they've actually done bad things (ie. the guy kidnapping the little girl). But when she doesn't know what they did and knows the person accusing them doesn't either???? Like bruh. But i like her character shes fun. I like seeing how she interacts with es and everyone she attacked. And songs, harrow is okay and i really like deep cover.

56. What’s something about your writing that you pride yourself on?

I am kinda proud of my characterization. Obviously it works for me because I write how I see the characters, but yk, I think I do a decent job of capturing their voices as well. I also take pride in my descriptive metaphors and details, because I spent a long time feeling inadequate when it comes to description, and it took a lot of work before I figured out how to describe stuff in a way that I both enjoy writing and think works.

63. Something you hate to see in smut.

Pure opinion and personal taste here, but squirmy awkward inexperienced shy emotionally overwhelmed nervous reluctant (unless it's deliberately dubcon) etc bottoms and cool suave tops, in any gender configuration (though I don't like to apply the words top and bottom to het couples, but ykwim.) I don't fault anyone for liking that dynamic, it's popular for a reason, but few things turn me off faster.

Also, because I feel like I probably complain about that too much lol, I get bored quick by scenes that feel like they're following a safe sex guide. Kinda refers back to my desire for more smut scenes that feel IC and unique rather than generic. There are no actual hard and fast rules for sex beyond 'communicate enough to be on the same page' and 'don't kill or permanently maim anyone.'

And especially on that note my biggest smut safe sex pet peeve is characters using safewords during vanilla or mildly kinky sex, because that's just pure 'read a guide on safe sex and didn't actually understand it.' 'Stop,' is your safeword if you're not doing edgeplay or rape roleplay, and it's not only weird to suggest that 'stop' is somehow inadequate during regular old sex and you need a special codeword instead, it's kinda bad? Like, the reason people use safewords during edgeplay is because 'stop' or 'no' is too easy to say automatically and you need an additional mental barrier so you're actively making the choice to stop a scene, rather than it slipping out because of the intensity of what's happening. But you don't need or want an additional mental barrier between you and your ability to communicate your desire to stop during most sex.

(Also constantly checking for consent stops being considerate and starts looking kinda coercive and/or painfully insecure at a point lol. Why all the checks? Does the sub's body language seem reluctant? Why is the dom not beginning a real conversation in that case, but simply pressing for yesses over and over? That's the vibe I get. Okay now I'm done complaining about "safe sex" in fic lol.)

28. On average, how much writing do you get done in a day?

On average, like 10 words lol, I don't write every day and often the little writing I do manage is like a paragraph in a notebook by my pillow. If I'm writing a new idea and I'm on a roll, I can maybe manage 1.5-2k? But that dries up quick. If I'm actively working on something ongoing, I'll probably manage like 500-1k words per dedicated session, but that's def not every day.

16. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Share one of them?

I'm thinking about 9ish? I mentioned one here, but I'll share another: a Henry/Johnny undercover as gay The Sting fic where the twist is that it's not Henry and Johnny playing lovers for a con, it's Henry and an old lover while Johnny plays third wheel and lowkey seethes with jealousy.

now onto like bg stuff so she's born to two teenaged parents right

and what's wild is her parents genuinely really love each other and like get married and noeul has a little sister who's like 9 now which is crazy

also bc a 16 year old girl named her like her actual name is noelle not noeul but like she's let everyone just assume it's noeul bc it's easier than explaning that her mom thought noelle would be a trendy name

but anyways having two teenaged parents doesn't like set you up the best financially so she lived with her parents and grandparents for a while when she was growing up and evenutally her parents moved out of her paternal grandparents place only to be living in a shitty half basement apartment with noeul bc like again how far can two high school grads from poor families with a whole ass child get in seoul

and tbh like bro noeul loves her parents but she DEF kinda resented them for being poor growing up and like so combined with this hatred of her situation paired with being a smart girl with a lot of drive she worked REALLY hard to get into shinhwa

only kinda realized that getting into shinhwa didn't mean a ton in terms of social standing bc u know she's still fucking broke and tbh rather than bullied i don't imagine people particularly even took that much notice of her bc she kept to herself a lot with like insecurity bc she was v obviously poorer than everyone and stuff and probs had a few friends but not a lot

tho lmao wildly and fully relating to her secret despite being this smart girl who worked hard to get her scholarship and school was v important to her she got pregnant right at the tale end of her last year at shinhwa and actually had to delay going to college the following year bc u know PREGNANCY

and there's like a lot of stigma that comes with being a single mother in korea and shit so like tbh did she want to keep her daughter? yes of course but like she didn't have the financials bc atp it's her, her parents, and her little sister living in a shitty little apartment and she literally shares a room with a 3 year old at the time, and then like she wants to go and better her life and stuff and it's hard to do when everyone judges you for being a single mom and it's not fair on the child so she makes the hard choice to give up her daughter for adoption and then go back to school

and like ok she goes to ewha womans and she does well there too bc again very determined to do well in life and all but like i think giving her daughter up fr had a sense of guilt, regret, and honestly depression that she never really expected so like she struggled with that and she ended up writing this story about it for a creative writing class and her teacher was like "hold up this is kind of good have u ever considered writing it into something more?"

and with her teacher's help and encouragement she did just that and ended up writing what would become a very popular novel about a young woman who gets pregnant, gives up her child, and navigating life through the tragedy over it. tbh it's kinda in the style of kim jiyoung, born 1982

and even cooler u know later it gets turned into a movie that's scheduled to come out later this year and fr like idk shit turned her whole life around like writing about the biggest misery and regret of her life gave her the money she always craved and a bit of notoriety and everything is cool and all but like on the other side of things people fr think the story is just a novel and are like "wow how did you come up with the concept?" and for obvi reasons like noeul is def more comfortable with letting them thinking it's all fictional

and yeah so ngl life has fr turned around really recently for her and it's really nice but like rip now the dawn of realization is setting in that like... people are gonna expect another novel and how is she supposed to provide that like...

Asking on anon because I don't feel like getting fucking lambasted by both radical sides of this. But I think they're are some folks that talk about transandrophobia (not you, baeddel-txt, etc) that are starting to pick up on toxic masculinity in the same way TIRFs picked up on TME/TMA shite and the like. (I have it on my blog but only because I'm tired of getting a toss up treatment from shallow transfems and getting reduced to either a cis man or them insinuating I'm not who I say I am, and the like. Frankly as of today I'm muting all of the related tags on both sides because frankly... I need a break).

I agree with y'all just like, be aware of it just like transfems should be aware of our own problems.

I also dislike the whole TIRFs "reclaiming" baeddel as a.) It's literally a ye old slur for intersex people (re: tfems having a problem with fetishizing intersex people, speaking from personal experience here)

b.) it reads like a far inferior version of reclaiming the tslur, which tbh, I would just prefer if they did that.

Also I guess if you ask this and you care so much about who's sending this, I'll reveal myself, just don't make it public because I don't need to be getting harassed by TIRFs for being a weird reject because I just choose to be both a girl and a boy identity wise and clearly the everything not binary fem phobia (even if I meet the criteria of not "CAFAB" to them.) they have is still clearly alive and well considering I took a soft ban 3 months ago for it. (After getting a full ban rolled back bc of staff reviewing it.)

That's not to say that there isn't some areas where it can be disproportionate. I also don't understand the obsession with violence statistics when a.) It shouldn't be happening period and b.) I don't think either side is accurately reported, really, unless it's entirely relying on self reporting. Also c.) I don't know how much of violence on trans SWers is reported in that, i could see it being even or even mildly trans fem biased, not statistically significant though.

I'll be honest here in that I am not 100% sure I'm understanding you correctly, but it sounds to me like you're making a couple of different points that I'd love to be able to engage with- I think I just need some clarification first so I can make sure I'm not completely misinterpreting what you're trying to get across.

So like, if it's cool, I would love a follow-up ask to clarify a couple of things!

What are folks doing with "toxic masculinity" that you feel is similar to what TIRFs have done with TME/TMA? My understanding would be that TME/TMA were turned into a kind of definitive label that people use to determine who's allowed to speak on certain issues, who's "oppressed enough" to matter, etc., but I don't really see a way that parallels "toxic masculininity" among folks who talk about transandrophobia. Unless you mean that people are distancing themselves from the possibility of being masculine in a toxic way on the basis of their identity? (If that's the case, I think I'm misunderstanding the connection to TME/TMA)

Also RE: statistics, I really agree that there need to be more studies and research into these issues in order to get any real sense of clarity. IMO the best uses for statistics of violence and discrimination against trans people, specifically stats that tell us who is facing what kind of discrimination, is to better understand the systems causing us harm in order to work towards dismantling them.

Trying to determine "who has it worst" overall is pointless and self-defeating. The goal should be to understand why transmascs tend to face more lifetime sexual violence, while transfems tend to face more childhood sexual violence. Not to decide which issue to give a shit about and which issue to ignore, or which trans people "deserve" to be prioritized over all the others.

I will also say that the study I draw from more than others is the U.S. Transgender Survey, which relies on self-reporting. I recommend checking them out if stats interest you; they're pretty expansive and had a massive sample size. The 2015 results have been published for a while, and 2022 results are coming soon.

i def don't have a screenshot of anything related to eene. i can't even really think of any on tumblr but the goddamn eene subreddit can be soooo cancerous. i don't follow it but it shows up in my feed bc i visited it once, but then i'll come across some goofy ass shit that compels me to click and the cycle starts again. but generally ONE of the worst takes on any site is that eddy would grow up to be a schlubby bozo in a trench coat selling Stiff Rox behind a middle school or similar takes. he would be very well dressed while peddling his wares, thank you very much.

7. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them?:

the only character i really dislike for any reason is jonny. he's so goddamn annoying to me. i know that's the point, so kudos to david avalon lol. if anything, an interesting fandom interpretation could probably change my view of him. but yeah i definitely think he has some really funny lines and gags, but overall he's pretty boring and obnoxious. with basically everyone else, i can see the appeal or at least the potential for something interesting. back in the dark ages (2014) i feel like i had a moment where i got pretty tired of the way edd was made out to be such a mary sue that i might have gotten annoyed by him or that idea of him at the very least. i admittedly take my own liberties when "analyzing" him, but as with all the eds, he's a complex character. the edd fan girls who'd have him pickin' daisies while eddy murders innocents drove me crazy.

9. worst part of canon:

i've never given it much thought, but i'd probably say it would be kanker related. i really love the kankers, even with the limited info we have on them. i just love unhinged girls/women. i would have loved to have seen them get some sort of arc and have a purpose outside of their roles as boy crazy "trailer trash". if there were ever a spin off, i'd hope it would be about them and their insane home life.

14. that one thing you see in fics all the time:

i'm a terrible fan; i haven't read a fic in a long time for whatever reason. they're all in my "rainy day" stash since eene related content is a limited resource. i don't know that there's any one thing or a pattern i've noticed in multiple fics from different people. however, one thing i LOVE is seeing people write slapstick into their fics. i think it's so fucking cool and interesting. everyone in this fandom is so damn multi-talented i could scream.

15. that one thing you see in fanart all the time:

i guess probably giving eddy blue hair, or giving edd long hair, which i love! edd doesn't seem like the type to have long hair, but somehow it's so damn fitting. idk where blue haired eddy started but its fanon at this point and i'm down. but i love his 3 strange antennae as well.

17. there should be more of this type of fic/art:

unfortunately again, i'm the worst person to answer this bc i have no idea what all is out there in regards to fics. but i'd love to see some good stories about the eds in high school dealing with their new found and fleeting "acceptance" from the other kids.

i'd also love to see more stories that have all three eds living under one roof as adults and all the insanity that would ensue. i want to write about this one in particular, so hopefully i'll be able to come up with a cohesive plot at some point.

would also love some eddeddy drama like them breaking up 👀 they get back together of course because they're the only two idiots who will deal with each other's bullshit

Smaller Fandom things:

Castlevania on Netflix - All of the characters are exceptional, the animation is exceptional, the story is action packed but the characters have room to breathe. Isaac is my favorite character, hands down!

Dislyte - yeah,,, it's a gacha game,,, and I don't even know if it's a good one lol BUT hear me out: the character art and the settling/world concept is so good. There's so much room for good stories, I just wish the game would give us more than what it currently has :'0 I'm currently writing a fix-it fic for the main game story :']

Tiger&Bunny on Netflix - It's an anime with two seasons, and I believe there's been two movies, and there's a short manga add-on (it's an anime first, so the manga is supplemental) It's about superheroes that are sponsored by their network to fight crime. I really enjoyed the characters and world building :0 BUT IT IS CRIMINAL WHAT THEY DID TO LUNATIC MY BELOVED they'd better walk it back if season 3 happens

Petshop of Horrors - I... I don't know what to say lol it's an older manga, and it might not be perfect, but something about it just got me idk. It's def the most niche thing on my list that still fits the criteria of 'I liked it enough to actively try and consume fan content of it'

as for the actual concept, not much exists outside of that video but I was thinking it would be some kind of crazy pandemic that primarily inflicts pegasi, causing a major social rift between them, earth ponies, unicorns, and the other species in Equestria.

cloud fleas themselves are parasitic, small insects that flourish in fur/tails/mains but most of all (ofc) wings. maybe they breed in the clouds' water vapor and then as they mature, latch onto pegasi flying thru or shaping the weather, etc.

even tho they're described as "fleas," I think they're closer to maggots, and eat as much flesh as they would blood.

Have you read our first guide before? If so, you probably know what to do during Grumpy Seek time, good on you! How about if I told you there are more ways to calm AND get along with your Seek??? That's right, that is indeed a possibility!

In this guide, I will write about more ways to calm and also advise you to get along with your Seek, harm's free!

A way to calm Seek using no tupperwares is to distract it doing something stimulating! You may have seen the paintings he has inhabited in such rooms before reaching, so this can only mean he likes to copy and morph into one. Present your Seek with something big, like a teddy bear, a chair (don't even think about it, I see u) and even an animal like a bird or a lizard. Let it study and take shape, it distracts his amgry mind into thinking "oh, shape this into that... Lemme just morph into this thing".

If your Seek hates talking, try to read to it with Figure! As much as you are to be careful, Figure actually enjoys Seek's company, have a reading session with them! And make sure to bring water and spare clothes, cuz Seek is an oozy, messy fellow to get snuggled of.

If you carry food, only do so if you like to spoil your Seek with rare treats. And yes, he can taste flavors. See which one is the best for him as he tells you.

Don't hug your Seek unless you desire a long session of being carried with hands, limbs and not let go for... Idk, hours.

If Seek is dripping in a slow manner... RUN.

Seek likes movement, introduce your Seek with exercise, especially running and jogging!

If you leave the tupperware open, gently jiggle the container with Seek in it, he enjoys the waved swaying movements and it actually lulls it into a beauty sleep.

If your Seek follows you, let it. As long as it doesn't feel like dreadful.

Do you sleep all of the time? Seek will greatly become your blanket to steal your warmth. A good sleep buddy.

If he's hungry, you'll know. He kind of smells like tar and rotten wood, feed him if there is nothing he can hunt.

Lonesome Seek? Let him be. It's his way of isolating himself in a destressful manner.

Fluff. Fluff is my favorite to write, since it's all cuddly, and shit. Same limits apply to Smut, NO R#P3, P3D0PH1L#A, ETC When i'm writing fluff, obviously. Don't think of requesting it because it's gross.

Angst, I also enjoy writing angst, heavy angst especially. Same limits go for Angst like Fluff and Smut, read above.

Mystery & Horror. Mystery and Horror are cool, although I haven't wrote many pieces for it, i think it's a pretty chill genre. I will write mystery and horror even if gore, all that shit is involved but same shit applies for these two as well like angst, fluff, and smut.

Fantasy. Never wrote for fantasy, but same stuff applies to fantasy just as it does for smut, angst, etc etc. I am willing to try it though?

Trupan related: actually, except for TruTen, every ship with the kids (Next Gen?) it's kinda... Weird.

Like, Trunks it's the oldest and Bra it's the youngest, right (haha, Bulma opened the cycle and closed it, queen)? But theres more than that, Marron it's the third child and she already it's 5 years younger than Trunks, then there is Uub who is 3 years younger than her, and the two little girls that are I think 5 and 6 years younger? There are 14 years between them. But you probably knew all this crap so yeah, I just like to write a lot.

Some opinions:

* Truten and maybe the ships with Uub (because he didn't grew up with the others) are the only not-akward ships (i'm not taking MaiTen cuz it is also weird because she is an adult even if she have the body of a kid).

*The friendships are also weird, but in a different sense, i mean... At that age it's weird to be friends with someone 5 years younger, that's why I think (yeah, headcanon time) that a friendship between Trunks and Marron would be pretty superficial, like in a "oh, i know her/him, she/he is the kid of... And I think she/he is cool" way.

*The fandom really likes to make Marron, Pan and Bra besties and it's like??? Marron could be their nanny, maybe a cool older sister? But cheez, the girl it's better than having two girls that are like 10 years younger than her as her two only friends. Also, even if I also think that she would have her own, normal friends as her priority (like, in the friends department??? I don't know how to say it, me don't hablo ingles) Goten would be her bestie between the kids, maybe Trunks too if there is a good weather.

*I wonder if Toriyama knows all of this age crap, like, maybe he sometimes it's doing his own thing and then "oh no, the kids are pretty isolated in terms of age"? Idk

Well bear in mind, outside of Krillin, no one in Goku's immediate circle of friends was his age. Bulma and Yamcha were both about 4 years his senior, Tien 5. Sure, he knew Upa and Suno too, but they weren't as close. Gohan's closest friend is both hundreds of years older than him and yet also only 8 years older, and Krillin is a year older than his dad, only real other friend he had most of his life that we saw. I don't think the age gap is gonna matter that much in how Toriyama would depict friendships, at least in the context of proper activities. I can def see Marron actually following Goten and Trunks around on misadventures and somehow being the more mature of the three... and yet also the biggest daredevil when the opportunity presents itself. And I can see the little tykes trying to tag along for hijinks.

In terms of shipping, yeah, I kinda don't ship any of the "next gen" crew with each other. Or anyone, really. And not Marron unless and until they've all gotten a good bit older, none of that "I'm 22/23 just waiting til you turn 18" stuff. But even then... eh... just not a fan. (I'll admit part of me is amused at the idea of Trunks and Marron being a couple if only for the sheer irony and the nightmare 18 and Vegeta would endure being in-laws [to say nothing of the idea of Future Trunks finding out somehow] but that's still not really something I ship.) Idk I guess if people wanna ship Marron with one of the boys they can, just... don't be weird about it? But the other two... there's no way you can make Trunks and Pan or Goten and Bra not creepy, I'm sorry. It's just not right.

ngl i love it for the most part, the chorus feels a bit lack luster, it didn't really keep up with the verses in terms of the chill kinda swag in my opinion (it starts good then loses itself a bit idk) but the rest of the song? especially the second verse?? YES. super sexy vocal kings bridge?? YES. kinda Punch vibes [which imo punch went underappreciated cos she had to follow up Kick It which was a) super catchy b) public friendly and c) super in your face hypeness] which super slay.

song: 7.5/10 !

but that kinda laid back confidence as opposed to the in your face confidence of songs like 2 baddies and kick it is what i rly like hehe, tho idk if it has that Pow Pow feeling title tracks usually have? maybe after watching a performance i'll feel differently?

the overall vibe and especially the beat for the verses are gorgeousss though, it's really my style and the rap parts ESPECIALLY ((did i say that already?)) the styling is simple and okay, nothing new or groundbreaking ... but we did get spikey almost punk tyong which i like hehe

lastly this might be controversial but .... even though the mv is super pretty it seems a bit ... low budget ? maybe ? like it's pretty but feels like concept-wise a bit.... lost. the only thing that seemed pretty cool to me was the shot of Jaehyun in the tunnel that seemed like a 007 kinda homage, but nothing else felt super 'wow !' yk? though in general, I think 127 MV's haven't been as good since regular though, especially concept-wise... like compare how their MV's started off, firetruck had a clear direction other than just looking good; limitless had a super clear retro vibe; cherry bomb wasn't super theme oriented like firetruck but had incredibly clear styling and vibes; touch was cutesy and clearly meant to be pretty and lighthearted; regular portrayed the concept SO WELL; and then simon says, superhuman, and highway to heaven all felt a bit... empty... Kick It delivered a bit more but in terms of 'a concept' but really relied on the good styling and one or two good sets, and then other than favourite, everything else feels a bit wishy-washy... like 2 baddies had a concept but it still felt a bit like it could've been done better. idk .... SM mv's have been going downhill a bit for a few years in my opinion ....

then as for b sides:

DJ - i like the rap parts but the melody feels very familiar? almost too familiar? in a way ..... didn't leave a huge impression but i think it's one that will grow on me with more listens hehe

Skyscraper - def prefer it to DJ, but didn't like jaehyun's flow in the first verse (it's very similar to his rap part in lemonade around the 30 second mark which i also don't like, it's just a preference thing cos i don't think it suits his voice or style, and it's just a flow i don't like lol) It did feel like the song could've been like a minute shorter? i don't think anything after about the 3 min mark added much to the overall sound [vocals are gorgeous don't get me wrong, it just felt a bit redundant....]

If the anime isn't out yet, I gotta watch it as soon as it DOES come out." I'd read part 2 yet, tbh I think I completely forgot about it, the memory is NOT good, I'm so sorry! So when the anime DID come out, I wasn't actually aware 😅 until they uploaded episode, like... 10? Or 11? Of the English Dub? AnywAY! THE POINT Is, I started watching because of things I've read, I was TIRED of looking up every single character when I read about them 😭 SO, I watched, got caught up to where it is now, and am waiting for the next episode, and you mention 2 of Cups part 3 is coming out, and I was like "oH SHIT, I REMEMBER READING PART 1!" So, I went back, read parts 1 and 2, absolutely ADORED them, despite the pain 🥹 Like, Rin's pining, but not wanting to do anything because of SAE, that little bitch, that won't admit he's the sAME and keeps being an AsS when Rea-chan and Rin are even remotely affectionate, AaAAAAHHHH!
