More of the Tiamat Au? More of the Tiamat Au!
Sharing a body was strange. Ten limbs split between the nine of them- thirteen if one counted the tails and seventeen if one counted the fact that their cloak… skirt… whatever could mimic the wings of their other form.
One which they would change back to after a few moments- there was much less stumbling when it was all fours. Not to mention that if not for the tails they’d have easily toppled over with how many arms they had making them slightly top heavy. Okay more than slightly, it was taking a bit to adjust.
Honestly the fields of wheat and other crops did nothing to hide them with how tall even this body was, but it was still better than nothing, and they were using the fact it was the middle of nowhere to their shared advantage.
At least the humanoid- not human, even now their shared power thrummed through the air, leaking from them- form was smaller than their true draconic one. Well, perhaps they shouldn’t call it their true form, when they were once all human, halfa and liminal alike, but they’d long since stopped being such. So perhaps it was in fact true to call the form they had become as their normal state now.
Actually, could they even separate now? Or had their power melded together so much that it was impossible now, and an attempt would end them? It would at the very least crack their core-

Can we please talk about how silly Aqua is?
There's nothing I can do about it, he says, only to literally wait for her in the dark only 4 chapters later.
Um... Aqua, how is this staying away from Akane? This is the silliest stunt Aqua has pulled in the entire series. He made such a dramatic exit out of Akane's life only to cave in... what? 4 months later?
Even assuming he was stalking Ruby and realized the girls were about to hold an audition... he could've simply waited for the girls to tell Gotanda or Kaburagi the results?
There was zero need for him to talk to Akane that night. Case in point, they don't actually discuss the audition at all! Aqua just asks if it's done and that's that lmao
Despite this, Aqua still sits his ass out in the dark and waits for them to be done. He knows what path Akane will take to go home, and he literally parks himself there and makes sure Akane will notice him. He doesn't even have the decency to hide! He stays right there in plain sight and even talks to her first!
Funniest part is that he tries to play it cool by staying on his phone, but he must have seen Akane coming! Otherwise how did he even know she was walking by behind him? 😂
He can't even come up with a excuse when Akane calls him out on it.
And then when Akane tells him that she's going to stop his plan, aka that she'll keep involving herself in his business and that she may just save him from himself after all, he makes this face!
He's giddy! He doesn't need to stalk her anymore, Akane's keeping herself a part of his life all on her own lmao

a lot of people seem to use Entry #61 as 'proof' for the crux of the "Brian didn't care about Tim, he was Taking Advantage of Tim's conditions and Forcing him to work as part of totheark" thing, but honestly when you think about it there's no possible way Brian could have possibly orchestrated that series of events, like you almost have to interpret that as a baffling group of coincidences

finally did my goddamn dishes. and that wasn't all i managed to do today. fuck yeah.
had a meeting for thesis prep. bmv trip. rough plan for friday's discussion lecture. cooked dinner for the first time in like 3 weeks. read ~50 pages of academic text for 2 classes and a paper revision.
feels like i didn't do enough but. considering that yesterday i managed... going to classes and nothing else! and monday i was only capable of doing the required meetings i had, this is a pretty good day!
#it's been. a tough few weeks. i couldn't focus at all last week. only got work done on the weekend. yesterday was........ tough.#monday wasn't as rough but was equally exhausting#so! proud of myself that i got. stuff done. big stuff even!#started keeping a task/reward journal to help out too :)#so every night i'll write out some tasks that need to get done the next day#and as i finish them i check them off and give myself silly little stickers to track what i managed!#so i get like. 1 sticker per 10 pages read (bc i usually need a break every 10 or so pages rn) 1 sticker in a diff color for chores.#1 for teaching stuff (laying out a lecture plan/finishing the lecture/doing a dry run/doing the lecture) 1 for meetings etc etc#it's helping bc i have a dumbass brain that doesn't give me dopamine for completing tasks anymore#it all gets lumped into 'yeah i did the bare minimum bc that's what i need to do. that's not special-#-no reward for you! you didn't really *do* anything. just scraped bare minimum!'#turns out that's bad for you lmao to get No Rewards#so i have a journal now! so i have hard proof that shows that i've Done Shit.#and i think the last two weeks i've been 1. underfed 2. overtired and 3. on the verge of burnout#so i haven't been able to do much. but a major stressor is gone now!
