Huh, I just realized I never officially came out as asexual or demiromantic to anyone. I legit just started posting things about aroace, and that's how people online knew. As for family and friend's, they kinda figured it out when I didn't care about dating as a teen. An actual conversation when I "officially" came out to my friends on the group chat. Note: I had Covid, so I was kind of out of my mind.

Me: There's such thing as demi romantic?!? And no one told me!!!

Pansexual friend: I just thought you were a suppressed aroace. You did seem hesitant about sex and relationships.

Me: I legit told you I never cared about sex or romance. The only time I would ever find a guy attractive is if I was close friends with him. HOW DID THAT NOT GIVE YOU ANY HINTS!!! Instead, I had to find out about demi romantic through Tik Tok!!!

Gay friend: Wait, are you aroace? Or on the spectrum?

Me: There's a spectrum!!!!????

Pan friend: It's pretty complex, I can explain it to you........

Me: Nope! Just found out about on Tik Tok. Congratulations! You guys have a demiromantic and asexual friend now.

doing this thing i call "reading every class high school lit book i missed out on" partially because as an english minor i feel like a lot of ppl in my english lectures have already read these books in higschool partially because high school english classes suck balls and i think the way they taught kids to read books was lame and dumb as hell and killed love for reading and i think some of these books they make kids read should never be experienced in a classroom setting

Dani x Jason Prompt

(Because i dont see enough of these two together. Also, this is another prompt i found in my fic files that i never did anything with.)

While Danny is in Amity Park protecting the ghost portal, Dani explores the world. Danny might be powerful enough to put down any threat, even Ancients, but she isn't as lucky. Her best defense against Vlad or the GIW is to never be in the same place two days in a row. Not to say she isn't powerful in her own right - she's yet to meet a ghost in her travels that she couldn't utterly crush, and even if she had, she's got the most loyal dog in both this world and the next to have her six.

Dani has discovered a great deal of beauty throughout the world in her few short years of life, but also unfathomable evil and undescribable corruption. She does what she can in every place she passes through, her ghost powers the ultimate cheat code for investigation and subterfuge, bringing to light the things that once hid in the dark.

But while scoping out yet another child trafficking ring, she crosses paths with a spirit of vengeance. At least, that's the only explanation she can come up with for how he's able to turn his shock and horror into pure rage at the flip of a dime.

Until she realizes that he's a baby halfa. If he doesn't learn how to mediate his emotions, he's going to burn out one of his halves.

Maybe she can help him stabilize into a proper spirit of justice and keep him from following the path that Vlad went down - oh shit, he doesn't even know that he's undead. Well, this is going to be a project and a half. But Dani is nothing if not resourceful - she's more than willing to put in the work if it means making an ally of the fourth known halfa.

I love that this fandom doesn't understand Baxter's character, I adore how they patronize him,a whole ass adult, for facing the consequences of his actions.

I love how people make him feel like a sad little baby when he leaves mc as if that's not something he made extremely clear. I love how people treat this 19 year old as if he's not old enough to understand the consequences of his actions. I love how Baxter is aware of his flaw's but feels like he can't break them because people only see him as a tool and this fandom reinforces that.

I love how people will get mad at Nico for doing the cardinal crime of being 6 years old but will baby a 24 year old Baxter. I love how people make him this charismatic rich guy when it's shown that he's a hot mess that doesn't know what he wants. I love that Baxter's whole character arc is about his self sabotaging tendencies and how everyone ignores that. I love that people fell in love with the mask he had for most of the dlc.

Social life as a working adult is so funny. I'm 25 and currently my closest friend is a 47 yr old woman(as old as my mom!) and when she saw me reading my own fics on ao3 she looked em up on her phone and promised, unprompted, that she would read my gay fanfics at home despite being unfamiliar with fanfics, ao3, or anything gay.

Traveling out of state to go visit my (now ex) gf and coming home with covid is such a double whammy.
