Something about Thomas Winkler... (GloryHammer)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Source : GloryHammer Reddit Page
Now listen up, I know that this is pretty old and I shouldn't really post this but... I just found that way too interesting to not to post it in here. (Also, I don't want to paint Thomas in bad light.)
I don't know him in person but... The Thomas I know from Emerald (and Nieverlore) would probably cry and beg to be shot after he would meet with his own self now.
Or am I the only one who thinks that the younger Thomas was more humble (and way more religious XD but that's not the point here) than the Tom we now know?
Sorry for the pictures quality but I couldn't download Reddit to my phone, so I took photos of my laptop's screen... :/
I posted this just because I thought :
- hmm...why not?
And not because I'm unable to move on (with GH and Angus McSix) and some things like that...

Here's my poster of my official version of my version for my DisneyElseWorld's Pixar's...
INSIDE OUT 2!
Tumblr media
I saw the new Inside Out 2 trailer, and they made Anxiety, Ennui, Embarrassment, and Envy bad by betraying the old emotions. Lots of crazy stuff is about to happen! We don't know what's going on, lots of details are there too. But what would the ElseWorld version be like?
SO!
For my idea. I have 6 new emotions, the OC emotions like, Courage, Surprise, Pride, Trust, Shame, and Frustration.
MAIN VILLAIN
I am using on of my oc villains, Spite, to be the main villain of the AU second movie.
OTHER CHARACTERS
Characters like Nia, the assistant of Ego, she runs the business with him but she tries to avoid him to help others. Bud, Courage's blood cell buddy, he doesn't speak but he's sweet, nervous, cute and got some attitude. And Brain, the big boss of Riley's mind, and the emotions need his help to stop Ego.
What New Places Would the Emotions Go To?
In this AU, far from HQ and Long Term Memory, instead of the back of the mind being empty, there is a huge mind-filled city called Mindtopia, aka, The City of Riley, where everything in the mind has everybody for Riley's Inner Workings in her mind. That also includes Headquarters. And guess what, they're not the only company, there's also banks, council buildings, restaurants, malls, houses, apartments, and everything for Mind Workers after they work at Long Term Memory. And The Mind Councilman, Chairman, is the Mind Prime Minister.
Returning Cast like...
Amy Poehler as Joy, Bill Hader as Fear (YES! I'm bringing Bill Hader back! He's so much funnier then I expected), Lewis Black as Anger, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Kensington Tallman as Riley, Diane Lane as Mrs. Andersen, and Kyle MacLachlan as Mr. Andersen.
Recast Alert!
I actually like Liza Lapira playing Disgust. After what Mindy Kaling did in Velma, it wasn't enough for me. Because the show and her are piles of shit to me.
With All-Star Cast like...
Jake Johnson (the Spider-Verse films) as the new outside leader emotion known as Courage, Sam Richardson (Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken) as Surprise, Kate McKinnon (Ferdinand & Saturday Night Live) as Frustration,
Andrew Rannells (Trolls 3) as Trust, Randall Park (Paw Patrol: The Movie) as Pride, Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family and The Secret Life of Pets films) as Melancholy, Paula Pell (Saturday Night Live and The Cat In The Hat) as Aunt Feely & Mrs. Andersen's Anger, Henry Winkler (Barry, Monsters At Work) as the mind algorithm/brainiac boss of the mind known as Brain, Nathan Fillion (Monsters University & Cars 3) as the villainous and hilarious, but very evily whiny, yet hateful, Spite,
Zooey Deschanel (Surf's Up and Trolls) as Ego's sarcastic female assistant, Nia, Lucas Neff (Raising Home and Monsters At Work) as Yes Man, Will Forte (the Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs films) as Mind Gate Guard Jimmy, Peter Sohn (Ratatouille, Lightyear, and Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse) as the emotions new best blood cell companion buddy named Bud, Stephen Root (Barry, and King of the Hill) as Mind
Natasha Rothwell (the Sonic films) as Riley's middle school P.E. coach, Mrs. Hutch, Thomas Barbusca (Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life) as Jordan, Haley Tju (Amphibia) as Kelli, Beanie Feldstein (Neighbors 2) as Riley's bully, Frances, and Josh Peck (Drake & Josh and Drillbit Taylor) as Frances' friend, Nate.

Sozos Michael as Angus McFife!
Tumblr media
Okay I may be into the beginning if a Gloryhammer phase since I know I'll be seeing them in live in January.
The firing of Thomas Winkler has been pretty controversial and all, personally I think that's upsetting that they fired someone who was there since the beginning by email, but I also think that Sozos is a really great singer and he wears the armor really well ^^

FMP: Tivoli. LO1/LO2.
Easter Week 3
As I was getting stuck in my head as to how to approach the design of my project, I showed my mum a collection of images I had gathered on Pinterest and from the V&A/University of Sheffield that I thought could be potential visual directions. We begun narrowing down what we thought worked best, excluding imagery that was heavily painterly, such as the vintage Coney Island material. This is because I have to think realistically about what I can make within my skill level-I'm not a fine artist.
Tumblr media
Imagery we leaned towards was more colourful and naive in style, in fact, my mum's favourite was Tivoli's posters! For her, it made her think to illustrations present in her childhood (1970's).
Tumblr media
So, what is Tivoli?
Tivoli Gardens amusement park in central Copenhagen offers rides, games, musicals, ballet, and major concerts. The park is best known for its wooden roller coaster, Rutschebanen (The Mountain Coaster), built in 1914. It is one of the world's oldest wooden roller coasters that is still operating today.
I selected Tivoli as a point of study as its success is founded in the preservation of its original buildings and rides. Another example of this is Tivoli's Pantomime Theatre, Tivoli's oldest building. It is listed due to its exotic exterior and the unique baroque stage inside.
Tumblr media
See how it all links back to Pollock's!
Reflection, LO4:
When trying to research into what Tivoli actually was, I found finding the answer to this on their website to be difficult-in fact, there wasn't a description at all. On 'The Company' section, it talks of fiscal reports and sustainability, and gives no indication into what the place is. The same criticisms were said in response to Dreamland's 2017 campaign, so it is important that I ensure effective communication in my work. The same obscurity can be said for Tivoli's posters, but their playful illustrative execution is something I'd like to bring into my project.
1960's-70's Posters:

House artist Thomas Winkler still embraces the original designs of Tivoli's old posters. He is also responsible for the overall design of the park.
"I have my hands in everything except the plants, whether it's the color of the benches, decorations or the letters above the lawn," he explains.
[on the 2023 posters]: "It is important to preserve history, but at the same time something new must happen. So a mixture of tradition and innovation," he explains.

Your turn!! :3 Askin about 1, 8, 14, and 19 from the end of year ask meme
Thank you! LOVE doin' these and it's been a LONG while since the last one graced my dash :D
Going with "Master of the Universe" by Angus McSix for this. It came out at a meaningful time and it was SO nice to hear Thomas Winkler was still making music (plus it's a BANGER)
8. I guessssss I'd probably go with Control for this year, was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it and LOVED how much of an Alan Wake 1.5 it ended up being. Didn't play a ton of new games this year, sadly xD
14. Probably Gideon the Ninth! Was exceptionally well-written, loved how intricate the plot ended up being and it had SUCH a good ending that made me VERY distraught (though less sad after finishing Harrow the Ninth lol).
19. I'm excited for FIRST WHOLE YEAR IN THE NEW PLACE and hopefully lots more opportunities to travel around and see friends! Also new tattoo in new year is gonna happen lmao.

Supporters of #NoHostageLeftBehind Open Letter to Joe Biden - Part 1/2
The letter consists of lies, no mention of Palestinian genocides, and a call for ceasefire.
Read the full letter:
Dear President Biden,
We are heartened by Friday's release of the two American hostages, Judith Ranaan and her daughter Natalie Ranaan [Raanan] and by today's release of two Israelis, Nurit Cooper and Yocheved Lifshitz, whose husbands remain in captivity.
But our relief is tempered by our overwhelming concern that 220 innocent people, including 30 children, remain captive by terrorists, threatened with torture and death. They were taken by Hamas in the savage massacre of October 7, where over 1,400 Israelis were slaughtered—women raped, families burned alive, and infants beheaded.
Thank you for your unshakable moral conviction, leadership, and support for the Jewish people, who have been terrorized by Hamas since the group's founding over 35 years ago, and for the Palestinians, who have also been terrorized, oppressed, and victimized by Hamas for the last 17 years that the group has been governing Gaza.
We all want the same thing: Freedom for Israelis and Palestinians to live side by side in peace. Freedom from the brutal violence spread by Hamas. And most urgently, in this moment, freedom for the hostages.
We urge everyone to not rest until all hostages are released. No hostage can be left behind. Whether American, Argentinian, Australian, Azerbaijani, Brazilian, British, Canadian, Chilean, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Eritrean, Filipino, French, German, Indian, Israeli, Italian, Kazakh, Mexican, Panamanian, Paraguayan, Peruvian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, South African, Spanish, Sri Lankan, Thai, Ukrainian, Uzbekistani or otherwise, we need to bring them home.

Have you listened to Angus McSix's album?
no. i listened to the singles as they came out and decided that i don't need an album's worth of. all that. i respect seeb as a musician and songwriter but genuinely not even him being involved could get me interested in thomas winkler's super mature power metal hissy fit. also i said i wouldn't listen to it in a conversation on reddit and while i may not necessarily be a man of my word i am a man of my spite <3

It's really funny that Thomas Winkler got kicked out of Gloryhammer and said "Fuck you, I'll make my own over the top power metal band," and it's way better than what Gloryhammer has become.
