Happy New Year! 2023
Once again it’s New Years Eve and my yearly tradition of wrapping up the year by reviewing things that have come out but I haven’t had time to write about. Here we go!
Doctor WHO: Wild Blue Yonder and the Giggle
Wild Blue Yonder was just the perfect amount of creepy, mysterious and suspenseful with pure nightmare fuel. And Neil Patrick Harris was perfection as the Doctor’s old foe the Celestial Toymaker. Plus a great regeneration scene to introduce Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor without having to say goodbye to David Tennant’s 14th.
The Marvels

I liked Captain Marvel and Ms Marvel so I knew I’d like this one. Is it a perfect movie? No. But it is fun. But you do have to watch Ms Marvel and Wandavision to know who everyone or it’s hard to follow along. As my parents found out. They still liked it enough but you have to be a super fan to really enjoy it.
Doctor Who: The Church on Ruby Road
I am so hyped for Ncuti Gatwa’s fifteenth doctor! This was a fun episode and a great introduction to a new companion with a great mystery set up and I can’t wait to see what is next!
Migration
This was cute. Not amazing or super funny but cute. The little duckling Gwen is the best part. That’s it.
The Color Purple (2023 Musical)
It’s well performed and all the musical numbers are great, but if you saw the original you know it’s better. I do like how Sug and Celiy have a stronger friendship and I even like how Celiy forgives Albert in the end here. And the explanation of how she inherits her mother’s house and gets her business is better handled.
Wonka
I loved this. It’s so fun and whimsical with just enough of a dark edge to tie back to the original book and moreover Gene Wilder’s sarcastic chocolate maker in the 71 version. It’s not a direct prequel but it definitely feels like this story could lead to that one. Plus Timothee Charlamet surprised me by how good of a singer he was! And he’s very charming and ties the whole movie together. Plus it’s written by Simon Farnaby of the BBCs Ghosts so it’s got that clever writing in it.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom
I don’t know why but I like this movie more than the first one. Maybe because I can feel how much fun Jason Mamoa had making it. Maybe because I’m a sucker for a reformed villain that helps his older brother defeat the ancient evil threatening their family (which is weird that’s it’s happened twice) but I do like the story and the action and that it’s got a happy ending.
What If Season 2
Here we go…the big one…one Episode at a time…
What if Nebula Joined the Nova Corps?
This was a fun neon noir mystery with one of my favorite new characters. And it really proves that one way or another Nebula was meant to become a hero.
What if Peter Quill attacked Earths Mightiest Heroes?
Or what if the Avengers assembled in the 1980’s? Basically Peter Quill is taken to his father Ego as a child. But once Peter realizes what his Dad is making him do, he returns to Earth because he’s still a good kid. He’s still a kid so he uses his new powers to make Coney Island his own playground so Hank Pym Antman, Goliath, Bucky Barnes Winter Solider, the Black Panther (Tchallas Dad) and Wendy Larson Mar Vel and Thor come in to take him in. It’s a fun team up. Especially when you add Peggy Carter and Howard Stark.
What if Happy Hogan Saved Christmas?
I’ve never seen Die Hard, but I’ll be happy to watch this every Christmas! This was fun seeing Happy be the hero for once. With a great return for a villain that we haven’t seen much of.
What if Iron Man crashed into the Grandmaster?
I loved this one! It was great seeing Tony taken out of his comfort zone on Sakarr. The Grandmaster does have that affect on people…lol. It was face paced and clever with jokes and story. Just great.
What if Captain Carter Fought the Hydra Stomper?
This whole episode was a sequel to Captain Carter’s story in season one. Basically it was her version of Captain America:The Winter Soldier but with the Red Room instead of Hydra. Captain Carter is always great and seeing her lose Steve again was sad but then the season plot comes a calling and she gets pulled into it.
What if Kahori Reshaped the World?
This was a great story and it features a new character! Basically Asgard gets destroyed before Odin can hide the Tesseract but it ends up in North America where a Mohawk Indian woman named Kahori winds up getting powers from it. And she’s a great character who I’m sure fulfilled a power fantasy for native Americans and gets to see a superhero like them at last.
What if Hela Found the Ten Rings?
I liked this one too. This basically has Odin banish Hela to Earth instead of locking her away. And while she starts off her usual villain self, we see her change into the hero she could have been. Plus Odin is back to being the worst parent in the MCU since we learn Hela just wanted to rule to gain her freedom since her Dad made her a weapon against her will.
What if the Avengers Assembled in 1602?
Okay I loved this one too. It was fun seeing an Elizabethan version of the Avengers with Captain Carter pulled from her universe to save there’s. And after she meets Steve Rogers, our hearts get broken all over again when they don’t get together again. Basically I really hope they’re building up to having Captain Carter finding a happily ever after with another Steve Rogers that lost his Peggy.
What if Strange Supreme Intervened?
Which brings us to the finale. So this season’s storylines aren’t quite as intertwined as last seasons, but when Strange Supreme showed up in Kahori’s story and then at the end of the 1602 story I knew something was up. And sure enough he tricks Peggy into finding Kahori for him after she escapes him. Turns out he’s been collecting villains and heroes to power a spell to restore his universe. He just couldn’t escape his grief. It’s got a bittersweet ending and Captain Carter has more adventures in store…speaking of which…

Hey Peggy? See that big tree there? There’s a really cute God of Stories in there that needs to be rescued. Just drop him off on Earth 1218 and I’ll take care of him. Thanks Doll.
Happy New Year!

Pacific Rim / Marvel Cinematic Universe Avengers AU!
“A team of heroes backed by the Pan Pacific Shield Corps (PPSC) must defend earth when an alien kaiju army attacks San Francisco…”
Stacker Pentecost as Nick Fury: The steadfast, principled, no-nonsense leader who has been with the PPSC since the beginning, the Marshal not only actively seeks new heroes to bring into the fold, but also has the onerous task of dealing with the PPSC top brass and external organizations.
Raleigh Becket as Captain America: A first generation Avenger, Raleigh returns to the battlefield as a member of the PPSC after a long hiatus. Becket never imagined he’d grow up to be a hero, but his strong moral compass and compassion for those around him put him on the path. His brother Yancy, who he thought was dead, is later revealed to be the Winter Soldier.
Chuck Hansen as Thor: A confident heavy-hitter, Chuck is stripped of his power and banished by his father Hercules after a display of selfish arrogance. Hansen eventually learns to put his ego aside for the greater good and redeems himself in his father's eyes.
Mako Mori as Black Widow: An orphan who grew up to become a powerful warrior and martial arts master. Smart, strong and capable but with a past that haunts her, Mori draws on her found family as a source of strength.
Tendo Choi as Hawkeye: The wise-cracking utility guy with a specialized skill set and resourcefulness that puts him on the level of the other powered-up heroes, Choi is calm in a crisis with a strong ability to take tactical decisions with assertiveness and accuracy.
Dr. Hermann Gottlieb as Iron Man: A brilliant engineer who uses his exceptional intellect and technical knowledge to code the revolutionary ‘Jaeger Armor’ enabling him to fight on a superhuman level. His desire to stop the kaiju invasion drives him to succeed, but he grapples with a strained interpersonal relationship with his emotionally distant father, a scientist involved in the early days of the PPSC. Dr. Gottlieb works in close collaboration with Dr. Newton Geiszler in their shared lab.
Dr. Newton Geiszler as the Hulk: A genius scientist with far too many PhDs, Dr. Geiszler is at the forefront of his emerging field. His zeal and dedication to learning more about the kaiju paired with a disregard for his own personal safety result in a lab accident infecting Newt with Blue Gamma, altering his DNA and giving him the ability to change into a powerful kaiju/human hybrid when under threat.
“Rangers assemble!”

Post-IW MCU Rewatch: Guardians of the Galaxy
Time for some space a-holes!
I mean time for a mom dying of cancer. :(
How’d little Peter get that black eye? (And how did I never notice he had one before?) Oh, he was fighting some jerks who killed a frog.
Peter will never be able to make it right that he didn’t take his mom’s hand as she died. And it’s especially frozen in his mind because it’s the last thing that happened before he got abducted for a life of space piracy.
I kinda think the Power Stone was used to kill Morag, and that’s why it’s lifeless except for lichens and creepy alien rats now.
*sings and dances along*
Okay Peter kicking alien rat things while he lipsyncs is somewhat less fun now that I’ve paid attention to the reason he had a black eye as a kid.
Peter Quill is my baby brother’s favorite MCU character. He kinda looks like him, has a very similar personality, and has dressed up as him for Halloween, and he’s very annoyed that that long leather coat is so expensive.
Ronan is so over the top, but in like the exact opposite way that everything else in this movie is over the top.
Why were the Kree and Nova Empires at war for a thousand years? What’s the Kree culture like that’s so different from Nova?
Stan!
Peter has such creative and irritating solutions to obstacles. :D
“It’s cool to have a codename. It’s not that weird.”
How did they get Glenn Close? And does she ever have normal hair in her roles?
“What is wrong with Giving Tree here?”
That orange decontamination spray is so gross.
That guy absolutely deserved to get vines up his nose.
I love Drax so much. “I like your knife I’m keeping it.” “...That was my favorite knife.”
Thanos. *clenches fists*
Hah! I never noticed the way Rocket hums to himself when he’s assembling that thing with the battery.
Group shot!
“I’m gonna die surrounded by the biggest idiots in the galaxy.” :/ Alas...no.
I love the music after the gravity turns off.
“They crumpled my pants up into a ball! That’s rude; they folded yours!”
Rocket’s humming again!
Yondu’s fondness for dashboard knickknacks is such a great bit of flavor for his character.
Haha, Dark Elf in a cage. Must be galling to be trapped so close to the Aether after his side lost to Thor.
Groot is such a sweetie.
“Who put the sticks up their butts? That is cruel.”
“THE MELODY IS PLEASANT.”
“I know who you are, Peter Quill, and I am not some starry eyed waif here to succumb to your...your...PELVIC SORCERY!”
I am surprised everyone in the gaming hall didn’t get mighty nosy after that “FOUR BILLION UNITS” bit.
I wonder how long it’s been since Taneleer and En Dwi have seen each other.
Okay if that’s how Thanos attacked the Asgardian refugee ship, it makes sense that Thor, Loki, Hulk, and Heimdall were the only ones still alive (not counting Valkyrie and the half of the refugees who escaped on pods or shuttles or something).
Bumper pods!
Was that a hint of regret on Nebula’s face after she blew up Gamora’s pod? What’s with these psychopathic space siblings and only realizing how much they love big bro/sis *after* the attempted fratricide?
So I think what Groot did to Drax was stab him precisely on a nerve that would make his diaphragm spasm so he’d cough up all that yellow goo.
I suspect that Nebula, Ronan, and Gamora rebelled against Thanos when they did (rather than sooner) because he had lost the Mind Stone. So now they can betray him without having to worry about him mind controlling them or something.
A few months ago, I randomly had a very scathing “the minutiae” in my head and couldn’t remember where it came from. My dear friend who is a massive GotG fan helped me out. “We didn’t have time to work out the minutiae of the plan!”
“I have lived most of my life surrounded by my enemies. I would be grateful to die among my friends.” :/
Dude the soldiers on Ronan’s side are Sakaarans. Weird. Are any members of this species actually left on Sakaar?
Hahaha, this is such a great power shot. Gamora yawning, Peter rubbing his nose, and Rocket just tugged at the crotch of his new Ravager red jumpsuit.
Don’t know if anyone is 100% a dick? I can help you out with that. THANOS IS 100% A DICK.
Ravager ships look so freaking cool.
Now that is how you do bomber ships and fighter ships, Star Wars. Take a freaking note.
“We’re just like Kevin Bacon!”
The interlocking thing the Nova ships do is so cool.
They shouldn’t have cut the scene where Drax overhears people calling Gamora a whore. It makes no sense for him to call her that when he’s so literal if he didn’t hear it somewhere.
If Michael Rooker could actually whistle around those pointy weird teeth, that is especially impressive. I can’t even figure out how to whistle with regular teeth.
Keep working on those metaphors, Drax.
I’m confused about how Drax survived Rocket crashing into the Dark Aster.
Oh wow I never noticed that Groot’s eyes are filling up with tears.
Man that ship did *so* much damage to the city by crashing. More than the entire battle. Are there Xandarian Accords?
Apparently I failed to notice that the same song Peter does the dance-off to is playing from the tape deck for the entire scene. That actually makes it less awkwardly random when he starts singing and dancing.
“Turd-blossom” is such a great insult.
The effects of the Power Stone look so painful.
I still think of the How It Should Have Ended every time I watch this part. Specifically, the bit where Ronan grabs onto the end of the Guardians chain and won’t let go. So funny.
By proxy redeemed from failing to take his mom’s hand as she died?
“The only way the universe can survive is if you give it to the Nova Corps.” :/
I think I’d like Gamora’s slant-skirted dress better if it wasn’t long-sleeved.
“I have a family. They’re alive because of you.” (But are they still?)
*sings along to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”*
So my first reaction when I heard they’d be making a movie called Guardians of the Galaxy was utter contempt. I thought that was the dumbest name for a movie ever and there was no way it was going to be good. You’d think a girl whose top five TV show list has always included Buffy the Vampire Slayer would know better. But then the first trailer hit, and it looked awesome. Then I watched the movie, and it more than lived up to the trailer. (And yet I was still disdainful when I found out they were making Ant-Man. I’m better at trusting Marvel now.)
This is such a great misfit/found family movie. You’ve got a selfish manchild, an ex-assassin, a husband to a murdered wife and father to murdered child who will have his vengeance, and a sociopathic lab experiment. (I feel like Groot is the closest to being a good guy, but he does still help Rocket with rather a lot of violence.) Then they all figure out how to work together, and in the process, they become heroes and build a new family. Groot’s sacrifice kind of seals the deal, and Baby Groot continues to cement them together as a unit going forward. For a wild romp in space, there’s actually an impressive amount of substance to this, and it’s very well done.

Avengers: Infinity War
*SPOILERS ARE ON THIS POST*
Alright, I thoroughly enjoy the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the new trailer for Avengers: Infinity War was awesome*. Overall I figured some fun speculation would be a great way to pass the time on this marvelous lazy Sunday. Overall, I have a few pieces of speculation, a few predictions and one question which still stumps me.
*I had promised myself I would not watch if after several reports on the Last Jedi trailer revealed to much but...I am weak. I had no choice
Speculation
Theater Speculation
Thanos appears to arrive on Earth, and appears to kick some major ass the whole time. We see him beating up Tony Stark and Spider-Man in the middle of the trailer, and dropping the Space Stone onto the Infinity Gauntlet (where the Power Stone already resides). Thus, I suspect there will be three major theaters in this movie: a cosmic theme, where the Guardians team up with Thor; a New York City one with Tony Stark and Spider-Man, and finally a Wakandan one where the Cap’ Avengers fight with Black Panther.
The film will NOT open where Thor: Ragnarok left off: I expect we will learn how Thanos kicked the asses of the Nova Corps and stole the Power Stone first. However, I do believe the trailer confirms that Loki betrayed Asgard again, and hands Thanos the Tesseract as payment for his previous failures, although I am uncertain how Thanos ‘rewards’ him for this gift. Following this Thor and the Guardians either work together to forge Mjolnir, or the whole cosmic part of the movie revolves around protecting the Aether from capture.
Deaths
An Avenger will die in this movie. Avengers: Age of Ultron sagged in my opinion due to Ultron feeling unimpressive. He was never a real threat to the Avengers; I never doubted the Avengers would win, and largely unscathed. Outside of Quilsilver dying (not a loss in my opinion) I was right. This time must be different. For one: Marvel has assembled far too many heroes for their universe, and while the American media market can consume a ton of Superhero films they cannot support solo: Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel films. It’s too much. Further: if the Avengers escaped unscathed the whole movie would feel disingenuous. Why did we wait a decade for Thanos, and have him not touch the team? Frankly, I expect many heroes to die in both Infinity War movies.
Soul Stone
It’s in Wakanda, otherwise the whole scene doesn’t make sense. Thanos seeks to unite the infinity stones. The Aether and the Tesseract are off earth, but the Mind Stone & the Eye of Agammoto are on Earth. Unless the Soul Stone is somewhere boring and is ‘found’ before the movie, it must be on Earth. Black Panther comes out in February, just in time to introduce it. It sets up the fight scene to defend the stone from Thanos, where the heroes probably lose.
Predictions
Deaths
There are several characters I am nearly 100% certain die in this film or the sequel. First: Captain America. His arc is over, and the Winter Soldier is here to take his mantle. Overall its in his character to sacrifice himself for the good of Earth, and he will place himself on the front line. Second: Nick Fury. He’s pointless now, and will die heroically either buying time, or in the opening act, to set up the seriousness of the movie.
I have another bold prediction: Iron Man dies as well. I suspect Robert Downey Jr. will want to move on, and the universe is strong enough now to continue without him. The best use of Iron Man is to sacrifice him to Thanos. I can imagine this as an apology to Captain America: he’s sorry he went crazy, and will do the right thing for humanity.
Wildcards: Vision (he loses the Mind Stone, but his character feels pointless to me if he dies so soon). Hawkeye (he’s expendable). War Machine (a soldier going down in the line of duty thing). Nebula (fighting her father).
Questions
1. Why is the Soul Stone bigger than the others? If you look at the gauntlet there are 4 small spots and one big one: why is the bottom slot bigger? And I am confident it’s the Soul Stone because its the right color (I suppose it could be the Mind Stone, but we already know its size). I’ve asked @racefortheironthrone this question, but I don’t believe he knows either. It’s a quandary to me, but I’m eager to learn why
2. What happens to Loki? Loki seems to be the wildcard. I don’t think he dies, but I don’t see what further role he plays either.
3. Are all the Asgardians dead? This would be sad, but feels true

Historical setting
The concept of a divine assembly (or council) is attested in the archaic Sumerian, Akkadian, Old Babylonian, Ancient Egyptian, Babylonian, Caananite, Israelite, Celtic, Ancient Greek and Ancient Roman and Nordic pantheons. Ancient Egyptian literature reveals the existence of a "synod of the gods". Some of our most complete descriptions of the activities of the divine assembly are found in the literature from Mesopotamia. Their assembly of the gods, headed by the high god Anu, would meet to address various concerns.[1] The term used in Sumerianto describe this concept was Ukkin, and in later Akkadian and Aramaic was puhru.[2]
Archaic Sumerian
One of the first records of a divine council appears in the Lament for Ur, where the pantheon of Annunaki is led by An with Ninhursag and Enlilalso appearing as prominent members.[3]
Akkadian
The divine council is led by Anu, Ninlil and Enlil.[4]
Old Babylonian
In the Old Babylonian pantheon, Samas (or Shamash) and Adad chair the meetings of the divine council.[4]
Ancient Egyptian
The leader of the Ancient Egyptian pantheon is considered to either be Thoth or Ra, who were known to hold meetings at Heliopolis (On).[5][6]
Babylonian
Marduk appears in the Babylonian Enûma Eliš as presiding over a divine council, deciding fates and dispensing divine justice.[7]
Caananite
Texts from Ugarit give a detailed description of the structure of the divine council, where El and Ba'al are presiding gods.[8]
Hebrew
The Council of Gods, Giovanni Lanfranco (1582–1647), Galleria Borghese

In the Hebrew Bible, there are multiple descriptions of Yahweh presiding over a great assembly of Heavenly Hosts. Some interpret these assemblies as examples of Divine Council:
"The Old Testament description of the 'divine assembly' all suggest that this metaphor for the organization of the divine world was consistent with that of Mesopotamia and Canaan. One difference, however, should be noted. In the Old Testament, the identities of the members of the assembly are far more obscure than those found in other descriptions of these groups, as in their polytheisticenvironment. Israelite writers sought to express both the uniqueness and the superiority of their God Yahweh."[1]
The Book of Psalms (Psalm 82:1), states "God (אֱלֹהִ֔ים elohim) stands in the divine assembly (בַּעֲדת-אֵל ); He judges among the gods (אֱלֹהִ֔ים elohim)" (אֱלֹהִים נִצָּב בַּעֲדַת־אֵל בְּקֶרֶב אֱלֹהִים יִשְׁפֹּט). The meaning of the two occurrences of "elohim" has been debated by scholars, with some suggesting both words refer to YHWH, while others propose that God rules over a divine assembly of other Gods or angels.[9] Some translations of the passage render "God (elohim) stands in the congregation of the mighty to judge the heart as God (elohim)"[10] (the Hebrew is "beqerev elohim", "in the midst of gods", and the word "qerev" if it were in the plural would mean "internal organs"[11]). Later in this Psalm, the word "gods" is used (in the KJV): Psalm 82:6 - "I have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High." Instead of "gods", another version has "godlike beings",[12] but here again, the word is elohim/elohiym (Strong's H430).[13] This passage is quoted in the New Testament in John 10:34.[14]
In the Books of Kings (1 Kings 22:19), the prophet Micaiah has a vision of Yahweh seated among "the whole host of heaven" standing on his right and on his left. He asks who will go entice Ahab and a spirit volunteers. This has been interpreted as an example of a divine council.
The first two chapters of the Book of Job describe the "Sons of God" assembling in the presence of Yahweh. Like "multitudes of heaven", the term "Sons of God" defies certain interpretation. This assembly has been interpreted by some as another example of divine council. Others translate "Sons of God" as "angels", and thus argue this is not a divine council because angels are God's creation and not deities.
"The role of the divine assembly as a conceptual part of the background of Hebrew prophecy is clearly displayed in two descriptions of prophetic involvement in the heavenly council. In 1 Kings 22:19-23... Micaiah is allowed to see God (elohim) in action in the heavenly decision regarding the fate of Ahab. Isaiah 6 depicts a situation in which the prophet himself takes on the role of the messenger of the assembly and the message of the prophet is thus commissioned by Yahweh. The depiction here illustrates this important aspect of the conceptual background of prophetic authority."[15]
Chinese
In Chinese theology, the deities under the Jade Emperor were sometimes referred to as the celestial bureaucracy because they were portrayed as organized like an earthly government.
Celtic
In Celtic mythology, most of the deities are considered to be members of the same family - the Tuatha Dé Danann. Family members include the Goddesses Danu, Brigid, Airmid, The Morrígan, and others. Gods in the family include Ogma, the Dagda, Lugh and Goibniu, again, among many others. The Celts honoured many tribal and tutelary deities, along with spirits of nature and ancestral spirits. Sometimes a deity was seen as the ancestor of a clan and family line. Leadership of the family changed over time and depending on the situation. The Celtic deities do not fit most Classical ideas of a "Divine Council" or pantheon.
Ancient Greek
Zeus and Hera preside over the divine council in Greek mythology. The council assists Odysseus in Homer's Odyssey.[16]
Ancient Roman
Jupiter presides over the Roman pantheon who prescribe punishment on Lycaon in Ovid's Metamorphoses, as well as punishing Argos and Thebes in Thebaid by Statius.[17]
Norse
There are mentions in Gautreks saga and in the euhemerized work of Saxo Grammaticus of the Norse gods meeting in council.[18][19][20] The gods sitting in council in their judgment seats or "thrones of fate" is one of the refrains in the Eddic poem "Völuspá"; a "thing" of the gods is also mentioned in "Baldrs draumar", "Þrymskviða" and the skaldic "Haustlöng", in those poems always in the context of some calamity.[21] Snorri Sturluson, in his Prose Edda, referred to a daily council of the gods at Urð's well, citing a verse from "Grímnismál" about Thor being forced through rivers to reach it.[22][23] However, although the word regin usually refers to the gods, in some occurrences of reginþing it may be simply an intensifier meaning "great", as it is in modern Icelandic, rather than indicating a meeting of the divine council.[24]

10 Lesser-Known Marvel Characters Who Should Get Their Own Disney+ Series
Disney’s D23 Expo this year brought plenty of exciting announcements, from Pixar’s new movie about the soul to the revelation that Rey will turn to the Dark Side in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Marvel Studios was also in attendance to reveal their upcoming slate of series for the Mouse House’s new streaming platform, Disney+.
RELATED: 10 Most Exciting Upcoming MCU Streaming Projects
The streaming service will be used to bring lesser-known characters from the Marvel Comics universe into the MCU. These include Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk, and more are on the way. So, here are 10 Lesser-Known Marvel Characters Who Should Get Their Own Disney+ Series.
10 Lady Sif

Jaimie Alexander played Lady Sif in Thor’s solo trilogy, but the character was woefully underused. In the comics, she’s one of Asgard’s foremost badass warriors. Alexander is clearly still interested in playing the character, since she recently threw her hat in the ring to become Valkyrie’s new queen in Thor: Love and Thunder, so she’d almost certainly be up for a Disney+ series.
Such a series would be a chance to fix her MCU characterization (in other words, actually give her some stuff to do). It might have to be a prequel if it’s going to include Asgard, but it could also catch up with Sif as a lone wolf surviving as an Asgardian without a home.
9 Nova

Whether it was intentional or not, the MCU has set the stage perfectly for Nova to make his debut. (Let’s be honest, it was probably intentional – this is the MCU we’re talking about.) In the comics, Richard Rider became the superhero Nova when he was the last surviving member of the Nova Corps.
Guardians of the Galaxy introduced the Nova Corps as the protectors of Xandar, then Thanos destroyed Xandar off-screen in Avengers: Infinity War, likely wiping out most of the Nova Corps. Put two and two together and what you’ve got is the perfect prologue for a streaming series (or even a movie) revolving around Nova.
8 Ironheart

Robert Downey, Jr. has endorsed Ironheart as Iron Man’s replacement in the MCU. In the comics, Ironheart is the superhero alter ego of Riri Williams, a 15-year-old engineering student and wunderkind who broke into a university to design her own suit of armor and ended up getting support from Tony Stark himself.
RELATED: Marvel's Ironheart: Everything You Need To Know About Iron Man's Successor
The character was created by Brian Michael Bendis, but his initial storylines were criticized for being a white man’s inauthentic portrayal of a black teenage girl’s life. So, Marvel replaced Bendis with Eve Ewing, a black feminist sociologist and poet who has completely revitalized the character in recent years.
7 Adam Warlock

The appearance of Adam Warlock in the MCU has been teased since way back in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. In one of the movie’s many mid-credits scenes, the Sovereign created an artificial being named “Adam” to destroy the Guardians. There’s a good chance that Adam will appear as a villain in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but by the end of it, he might join the team, as he has in the comics.
Adam Warlock is such a powerful and interesting character that he’ll need some room to grow on his own, so if he leaves the Guardians at the end of their threequel to enjoy his own cosmic adventures, he should get a Disney+ series. Or, perhaps such a Disney+ series could even act as a precursor to Vol. 3 and revolve around Adam’s hunt for the Guardians, since Vol. 3 has been delayed.
6 X-23

It’s been reported that Marvel Studios is planning to reboot every single X-Men character apart from Deadpool, because he’s the only one left alive that fans like. But that’s not true. Fans also grew to love X-23, Wolverine’s vicious cloned daughter, played by Dafne Keen in 2017’s Logan.
Marvel should give X-23 a series on Disney+, a sort of coming-of-age story as she grows up with mutant powers in a world that marginalizes mutants, and they should keep Keen in the role if she’s interested, because she was brilliant in Logan and she’s one of today’s most promising young stars.
5 Captain Britain

Simon Pegg has already thrown his hat in the ring to play Captain Britain in the MCU. We’ll be getting a Captain Britain of sorts in the MCU via the animated anthology series What If...?, as one episode will explore a hypothetical scenario in which Steve Rogers wasn’t chosen to receive the super-soldier serum and it was given to Peggy Carter instead, but this won’t really count, because it’s just that: a hypothetical scenario.
It would be fun to see the real Captain Britain from the comics get a series on Disney+ (it could still be a female version, as long as the character gets an on-screen incarnation), especially now that Captain America is out.
4 The Thunderbolts

Starting with Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (who has taken on a large role in the MCU since Captain America: Civil War), the Thunderbolts emerged as a new superhero team in the wake of the Avengers’ absence before being shockingly revealed as a team of supervillains using false heroism as a front.
Later, the name was used by reformed supervillains who wanted to become heroes and redeem themselves for their past mistakes. With the Avengers being disbanded at the end of Endgame with the death of Tony Stark and the retirement of Steve Rogers, now could be the perfect time to introduce the Thunderbolts.
3 Hercules

Norse mythology isn’t the only branch of mythology that Marvel has plundered for characters and storylines. They also made a superhero character out of Hercules, and he’s even been an Avenger.
In the comics, Hercules has had a fun rivalry with Thor, which would be fun to see on the big screen after Odinson loses his title and Hercules has been ingratiated into the MCU. Hercules even has his own superhero team, the aptly named “the Olympians,” so the Disney+ series could explore how he assembles this team to take on a villain that he couldn’t handle on his own.
2 Namor

Namor might be best left for a villain role in the Black Panther sequel – it was certainly set up this way by the underwater earthquake mentioned by Okoye in Avengers: Endgame – but that wouldn’t do the character justice. He can be an enemy of Black Panther in the movies (since the two have an interesting dynamic as rivaling kings in the comics), but he’s still interesting enough to get his own standalone adventures in a Disney+ series.
RELATED: 10 Reasons Why Keanu Reeves Would Be The Perfect Casting For Namor
Namor is essentially Marvel’s Aquaman and his appearance in the MCU has been teased since Iron Man 2, when Atlantis appeared on a S.H.I.E.L.D. map next to Wakanda.
1 Squirrel Girl

It seems like a no-brainer for Squirrel Girl to appear in the MCU. She’s a fan-favorite character who’s also absurdly powerful. Grown out of writer Will Murray’s desire to create a lighthearted superhero story to counteract Marvel’s heavier dramatic stories of the time, Doreen Green has the power to communicate with squirrels, as well as the claws, tail, and heightened sense of one.
Although these abilities might not seem like they’d make her a formidable threat, she’s actually used it to defeat some of the most ominous supervillains in the Marvel universe. She might not fit into the movies, but she’d be perfect for a half-hour comedy on Disney+.

Why you require attempt to cosplay Captain Marvel?
Captain Marvel's powers include superhuman strength, toughness, and power projection. She is among the best characters in the MCU and is potentially just outmatched by Hunk as well as Thor. As the motion picture will certainly be set in the 90s, it will certainly come with a dosage of fond memories and also activity for the audiences. With the launch with a couple of trailers, there has actually been an unprecedented hype for this motion picture as well as cosplaying has already begun. So it asks the question: Why many fans must try Captain Marvel Cosplay? For one, she is an inspiring hero who fights for truth and also justice, but she is likewise a little hot-headed which makes her humane. If you are thinking about joining her military of followers who go by Carol Corps then here is exactly how you can obtain the cosplay right:
Why you need attempt to cosplay Captain Marvel?
Initially, take a bodysuit pattern and also remove pieces in your size. Then take the items you have actually cut out before continuing to trace the front and also back items on a newspaper to prepare to designs of Captain Marvel's trademark gold as well as red V. Repeat this action with the sleeve pattern as well. Then take the fabric you have chosen to eliminate the pattern drawn on the paper in addition to the remainder of the patterns on which no changes have been made. Next off, make the base of the bodysuit by just following the initial pattern directions. You can do this by pinning each of the assemble. First placed the right side in and after that stitch everything along with a zig-zag formed stitch. When you have finished sewing the almost all of the bodysuit, add in the gold as well as red V. Adhering to the same approach while attaching the torso pieces with each various other. Currently, just duplicate the previous step to attach the red as well as gold designs to the sleeve bases. You can also choose to hem your sleeves with a line of red to make sure that you get a cuff and also avoid revealing the stitches. For this, take 2 rectangles of the same size as that of the end of your sleeves. Now fold it in fifty percent, yet with the best side out and afterwards connect those to the bottom. Currently comes how to cosplay spider man to include piping to the sleeve holes. Do this using a sewing maker as well as a zipper foot prior to hand sewing it as well to make sure that it is as very closely connected as feasible. After that piping is done, attach to sleeves. Currently include the zipper by pining it in the appropriate location and after that sewing it. After that take a routine collar pattern prior to yearning it as well as sewing it up as well. Now, it's time for the lower part of the match. Close the joints under the zipper and also sew the crotch assemble. Now take the leg textiles and sew those together with the torso also.

Currently simply attach to star to the center of the upper body and put on a belt to contend for the cosplay. Certainly, you can simply purchase the whole suit online, but you will really feel more pleased when you make it yourself.
