"Everyone, there is a new student coming to join us!" Ms Oh chirped happily as she stood behind the desk and all the girls at Haesbich Girls' High School suddenly broke into loud gossips, anticipating the who the new girl could be.
Except, Jeon Heejin. The girl with dark brown hair, fair white skin, small, buttoned nose, rosy pink lips, pixie like ears and chilly whiskey brown eyes that sat at the very back of the classroom. She never liked any of the girls in her class; for Heejin, all them were mean and two faced bitches under the disguise of their innocent faces.
As the wooden door opened, Heejin's eyes widened into the shapes of a full moon. How could someone so pretty be human? Her eyes followed the face of the new girl who shyly clutched onto the straps of her backpack, Heejin swore to herself that nobody could be that pretty.
But you defied all the impossible.
"Hello, everyone! My name is Y/N Y/L/N. Please take care of me!"
Y/N. The way she spoke her name sounded so beautiful that it made Heejin's heart skip a thousand times more. As all the other girls were busy fawning at how cute you were, Heejin snarled and wanted your attention all on her.
"It's very nice to meet you, Ms Y/L/N." Ms Oh smiled as she turned her head to face you. "Why don't you take that fee seat?"
Heejin side glanced at the free seat besides her. She couldn't believe that the new girl would be sitting right beside her! Pleased that nobody chose to sit beside her in the beginning of the term, she pulled the chair for you and offered you one of her most eye catching smiles.
"Hi!" She greeted at you. "I'm Heejin!"
As Ms Oh started to lecture, Heejin could care less about it. She was busy basking her eyes in your side profile, marvelling at the smooth structure of your chin, your pointed nose and long and lush eyelashes.
' If the Goddess Hera were to see you, she would be jealous of your beauty. ' Heejin thought to herself.
As the bell rang for recess, you started to pack up all of your belongings that you took out.
"I can show you around the campus. I can give you a tour if you want me to." Heejin suddenly spoke before you could get up from your seat. Smiling shyly while looking down, you nodded your head.
"I'd love that!"
₍ᐢ.ˬ.⑅ᐢ₎
"Heejin..what if someone sees us here?" You shakily asked as smoke came out of your mouth from the cold.
"Chill out, babe. It's just us here. Fuck what the world thinks were doing." Heejin grins and helps you climb up the wired fence while chewing the cherry flavored gum inside her mouth. "Plus, I don't think anyone would be here because one, this place is abandoned. And two, we can scare people off and think the ghosts of this place are haunting and operating it."
But what Heejin really wanted to say is that she came prepared for the insides of her denim jacket contained: a 9mm pistol.
"I can't believe a place like this closed down when people created a lot of memories here. Both old and young. What do you think- Heejin?" You suddenly stopped and asked on where could she be, suddenly missing by your side.
It was cold and dark and anything could pop in front of you. You gulped and crossed your arms to yourself while Heejin's sweatshirt kept you warm. "Heejin-ah..." you muttered, almost on the verge of tears when all of a sudden bright lights of gold lit up.
"Did you like my surprise? I got my hands dirty for you and I'll get really mad if you say you didn't like it." Heejin feigned her frown. But a small chuckle elicited your lips as you suddenly brought the girl in your arms, tightening your hold around her. "I like it very much."
The first ride you went to is the merry go round, enjoying the ride no matter how many times you've enjoyed being spun around and brought up and down of the machine. Just like the merry go round, your life was a continous cycle that never seemed to end, your life always going up and down and you didn't know how to change it.
But it was Heejin who broke the loop for you; you got out of the track.
And while you were smiling and enjoying the ride, Heejin looked at you like you were of the stars, the sky and all the heavenly forms. Nothing else mattered to her, just you and you alone. And Heejin would kill anyone who dared to get in between your relationship.
After the merry go round, Heejin proposed to go to the haunted ride next. She wouldn't deny it, but the reason why she wanted go there next is because she wanted you to cling onto her. Everything you do, you did very cutely, and Heejin just couldn't get enough of you. You could just breathe and she would find it breathtaking, magnificent, talented.
Although of course, only Heejin could breathe the same air and walk the same path as you.
From the haunted ride to the spinning teacups and the roller coaster, this was a night you would never forget.
Sheltered all your life from what the world has to offer, Heejin brought you out from the confinements of your bedroom and showed one half of what the world has in store for you to discover, and you were loving every minute you stayed.
"I wish my life could be like this" You suddenly spoke as you slowly swung yourself on the playground, Heejin sitting right besides you.
"I wish my parents weren't so overprotective of me. And I wish this night wouldn't end."
Hearing this, Heejin reached out to hold your hand. Hearing those words wanted her to take away the pain you feel.
"We'll create more memories together. You and me."

🌈 How would dating Olivia Hye be like  🌈
Tumblr media
you met in high school
you studied in the same room as hers and sat nearby
sometimes, you tried to talk about anything with her
but contrary to what she shows up on stage, Hyejoo is very shy
she didn't talk much, but she liked to hear you talk
in a conversation about the History homework in the group chat of your class, you saw her interacting, asking which pages she should be based on to start it
you still hadn't noticed that you had a growing crush on her, but that's what drove you to save her phone number and answer her question privately to talk more
surprisingly, she became more talkative with you through the messages she sent you
until one day, at school, you were shocked that she started talking to you, not the other way around
then with time, you became that duo that everyone always said that were glued
and, in fact, it was just like that
her parents adored you
your parents adored her
she used to sleep at your house and you at hers
you both did all the school assignments together, even when they weren't for groups/duos
you spent all your time together and when one of you skipped classes or would not spend the weekend at the other's house, felt like it was tighten your chest
that's how you noticed that you felt more than friendship feelings for her
and Hyejoo felt her feelings for you growing
she was afraid to ruin the friendship, but she also couldn't get away from you
she debuted on Loona before saying these feelings to you
you didn't meet a lot since then because when she wasn't recording a mv, she was practicing with the group
you were sad but understood that it was her dream and you would respect that moment
even though you missed her soooo much
so on your birthday you said you’d expect her to get some time to go to your party
and so she gathered the courage to talk to you, even though she arrived almost at the end of the party
she took you to a more secluded corner of the house (your bedroom, since all your friends were dancing and having fun in the living room)
Hyejoo said she would give you a gift
she asked you to close your eyes
anxious, you closed them
"Hyejoo, no need to surprise me, I'll have to see it at one time or another!", you said, smiling
she did not answer
you didn't open your eyes, waiting with your hands outstretched
then you felt her hands on yours
and before you could open your eyes, you felt her lips on yours
you were confused at first but then you relaxed
you held her by the shoulders and what was a simple long peck turned into a shy tongue kiss
after that, all the time you spent together, usually in your bedroom or in hers (never in the dorm), was full of kisses
until one day she said, irritated:
"are we going to stay in this... thing, or do you want to be my girlfriend?"
"obviously I want to be your girlfriend!", you replied, laughing a little and receiving a quick kiss, followed by a hug
after that, you started dating Olivia Hye!
Tumblr media
she looks intimidating but
it changes very fast with you around
you didn’t use to play a lot of computer games, before her it was something more casual
but... everyone knows that Hyejoo loves games
you love watching her play, but for her, having you watching it is not enough
so she starts to encourage you to play with her
she teaches you how to play new games
buys a pc gamer for you on your birthday the year after your first kiss
(which makes you almost pass out because... computers are not cheap)
(but she doesn't care about price tho)
buy matching accessories
(all of hers are black and yours, white)
she can do anything so whenever she does something, you will be surprised at how her talent is in different areas and, for her, it can be the most natural thing to do
at first, you were a bit jealous that she and Chaewon were soulmates
but with time and all the security that Hyejoo gives you, you understand that their friendship is that way
and that you and only you are the love of her life
you buy a lot of food when you are together
lots of fun eating, by the way
when she has to travel with the group, tends to be quieter because misses you
the girls notice it, of course, and sometimes they make jokes about it but they don't get on Hyejoo's nerves very much because they know it's not cool
after all, both your schedules are completely different. it wouldn't be fair to joke about it
record loona logs like she's telling you things that are happening day to day
and send you the unedited videos of it
everything that has to do with wolves you make sure to buy because it reminds you of her
you always watch the cherry bomb cover
"watching this video again?", she says as if it were nothing much
the same is repeated with Egoist mv, or any video that she appears
"I'm sorry but I can't help it... I'm Olivia Hye biased!", you reply.
she rolls her eyes, but there's a silly smile on her lips
Tumblr media
whenever you goes to sleep at her house, which doesn't happen very often since she spends most of her time in the dorm, she makes sure that you uses her laptop to play those games with her
but you end up playing very badly because you are distracted kissing or talking about the day you had
get used to her work routine
and also gets used to her routine of staying up during the night
which makes you sometimes lose track of time
but it's so nice to talk to her at dawn...
this is the moment when she feels more free and, because everything is quiet, it is as if there were only the two of you in the world
and even when you sleep in her house or she’s in yours, the feeling is the same
long conversations about deep things, plans and goals, insecurities and uncertainties, weaknesses, advices...
likes to sleep at home because you sleep in her bed with her
(a small detail none of your parents know about)
and so, she lies on top of you and asks for your hand in her hair
it's the most comfortable way she found to sleep and she only feels 100% rested with that
loves to kiss you but does it only when you're alone
long and slow kisses
it is very difficult for her to give you quick kisses because, for her, it's as if she isn't enjoying it in the right way
know the exact strength to squeeze your waist during the kiss
also knows the exact strength to pull you by the waist towards her and leave you completely melted in her arms
you usually buy caps and clothes for her
all in black or gray tones
and she gives you her favorite sweatshirts for you to wear
"they look better on you, anyway."
take pictures of you while you sleep
eventually, these photos become lockscreens on her cell phone
constant and contagious laugh that makes you laugh to the point that tears come out of your eyes
picks you up for no reason
carry you on her back for no reason
when hugging, she ends up lifting you off the floor
maybe it’s to show how strong she is
likes it when you caress any part of her body
especially in the neck, where she's very sensitive
if she does something before you (like going somewhere first or watching an anime before), you have to deal with her saying she’s your sunbaenim
finds it adorable when she gets irritated by silly things (like forgetting a word, for example)
piercing ears together
wear matching piercing jewelry
hitting the "woah" for no reason
it ends up being your way of saying "i love you" when there's too much people around
Tumblr media
sex with your girlfriend Olivia Hye:
you had your first time together at the end of senior year of high school
you were already in a moment of the relationship that kisses were getting hotter and hotter and hotter and...
although you both were inexperienced, it was even better for you to get to know each other's bodies together
especially with your mouth marking her entire neck and making husky moans come out of her throat
despite this moment, Hyejoo tends to be quite dominant
likes it when you sit on her lap
usually pulls you to sit
(she finds it more practical to explore your body with her hands when you are in this position)
tends to pay a lot of attention to your breasts
(and also loves to play with your nipples, even slightly)
she's veeeeery affectionate at these times, asking if it's hurting you or if it feels good to you the way she is doing it
but usually she doesn't say much more than that
although praising your body a lot after sex, while doing it you feel it coming through her hands
she loves to hear you moan in her ear
but she's audacious enough not to let you cum soon
after sex tends to be quiet
you lying on top of her or vice versa
Hye smiling like a fool but with a certain flush on her cheeks
kisses your hand, face, mouth
but she doesn't really talk much
maybe a mix of being embarrassed and of needing nothing more than being with you
your presence is more than enough for her. always

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Heels clicked against the marbled tiles, a short haired woman adorned a simple white blouse with a plain black tie and a shining green gemstone pin, fitted dress pants, and a matching pair of boots made her way through the silence of the halls. Soon reaching the large mahogany doors that almost reached the ceiling, the woman didn't hesitate to push the doors open and pause in the middle of the spacious room. She bowed before announcing her arrival to the gray haired man that stood by the tall windows, back facing her as his eyes scanned the garden beyond the glass of his quarters.
"I've arrived, boss." the man inhaled deeply, raising a hand to signal the woman to be at ease and so she straightened back to her height, side-eyeing the machinery that surrounded the king sized bed, and dressers that were once filled with family portraits—now occupied by numerous paraphernalia for various medication. The sharp-eyed woman clenched her jaw, studying the man who kept his back turned to her yet she could almost hear his contemplation out loud.
It's gotten worse.
"Do you need me to call for the doctor, sir? I can ask Vivi to take charge until I've finished the task."
"No, I specifically called you for a reason, Haseul." the man turned his head slightly, just enough to make sure that he could see the young woman through his peripheral vision who was patiently awaiting for orders. His heart clenched as only for a moment, the sight of her reminded him of a younger version of herself, one that he had once found in the streets doing errands for another Family to make sure that she comes home with enough coins to feed a child that could barely even formulate a word—stating that she had found the child the abandoned, wandering the streets alone—to which the young girl then decided to claim as her own sister.
The old man then asked if they wanted to work for him instead, and with Haseul's dim eyes shining brightly at the offer—a wary expression quickly cast on her small, rugged features, stating that they'll be chased by those whom gave her orders. Soon enough, the old man took care of it himself, and the two scrawny children that sat in the dining hall with the boss were shoving their meals down their throats as if their lives depended on it—but the old man didn't mind, lips pulled up into a small smile as he sipped on his wine.
"How is your sister? She's doing well, I hope." Haseul's eyes stayed glued on the back of the boss' head, feeling slightly distressed at how it seemed as if the usual dismissive and busy man had time to even ask for such easily answered questions.
"She is, sir. She's attending classes at this very moment."
"I've been reminiscing the times where she'd barge in the meeting room with the loudest greeting.." the man chuckled to himself, sighing without noticing the pained expression that had now set on Haseul's face as she swallowed thickly.
"She's living well with the other five, but I'll make sure to ask her to drop by sometime.."
"And.. Yves?" Haseul's eyes snapped back to the boss, watching as he finally turned to face her with a distant look in his eyes.
"Sir—"
"I need to know if she's taking care of her." as he moved to take a seat, the old man slightly staggered—making Haseul reflexively take a step towards him but he quickly placed a hand on his desk, regaining his balance with a frustrated look on his face.
"Is she being taken care of?" Haseul could only nod in reply when he looked back at her, she could see the internal struggle that had been building up in his aged features as he slowly lowered himself on his chair. Inhaling deeply as he finally sat in peace, leaned back, staring across the room blankly.
"It won't be long until she comes home," the old man's eyes set on a picture frame that stood tall on his desk where the image of the familiar face of his eldest son, his wife and a baby girl smiling happily back at him, "will I ever be able to meet her? My own granddaughter.."
"Is that why you called for me?" Haseul dared to ask just when the boss started to look solemn, but though the boss was as strict as any boss can be—he was never unkind to those of which he raised as his own.
He did however, looked at Haseul displeasingly as if he's wasn't dying and this was just another day where the old man slightly questions if the girl really did grow up under his supervision.
"No, I have an order only I can give you—and I alone." and so the old man started speaking, pulling out a document from a drawer under his desk and laying it out on the surface for Haseul to read. As she read what had been written on the parchment, she felt her heart drop as she stared down at the contents—her own body practically refusing to listen her boss speak any further, vision blurring while the old man continued to tell her exactly what would be her final order from him. Haseul was numb the second she had left her boss' quarters, stiffly making her way down the hall with nothing but agony and dread washing over her as everything slowly sank in. If it wasn't for Vivi's arms that had quickly caught her once she'd rounded the corner, the short-haired woman would've broke down alone on the empty hall—but there they sat on the ground, Haseul's heartbreaking sobs echoing through the silence, Vivi's hushed whispers and protective arms wrapped around the girl, Haseul could almost feel the emptiness that was once her reality and had been completed because of the boss' compassion return.
"How long do we have until we come for her?" her eyes continued to stare down blankly at the name engraved on the tombstone, tearing her eyes away from the marble to look at the taller, dark haired woman with distinct sharp features—particularly, the slope of her jawline—that stood behind her. With her arms crossed and craned neck as she eyed Haseul with a focused gaze, the leader could only glance at the tombstone before taking a deep breath and tiredly walking past her to start leading them towards the cars.
"A year."
"A year!? What—she'll be our boss when she's barely through her junior year? What's the difference with just going right now!?" Haseul pinched the bridge of her nose as the other woman leaned over to express her dismay, making her stop on her tracks to look at the taller girl pleadingly.
"It's in the paper, Jinsol. You've all read it, please don't make me repeat the order that I've been assigned to do—if you want to press on this further, take it up with Kahei, please." Jinsol eyed the drained girl infront of her, shaking her head before reaching over to place a comforting hand on her shoulder in attempt to console the older girl.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound harsh it's just.. We're defenseless, it doesn't sit right—not having a real boss," Haseul nodded solemnly, failing to meet Jinsol's worried gaze, "it's not fair that he left you with it, even if everyone would catch a bullet for you if you commanded it. Haseul, it's.. Just not right." Jinsol tried her best to empathize with the girl, though lacking the ability of wording it out. However, Haseul felt the sincerity in her tone and just gave her a small smile in reply—already mentally preparing herself for a year of temporary boss until they're finally ready to get you.
"Everything will go as smoothly as it always has, Jinsol. We'll have our boss back before we know it."
"Yo!" you squinted your eyes at the sudden figure blocking you from the view of the sun, the familiar wide smile and crinkled eyes directed at you as she beamed—dare you'd say that though she was blocking the sun from behind her, it was as if she shined even brighter than the source itself.
"Yo.." she let out a hitch-pitched excited squeal before occupying the space next to you on the bleachers, popping open her water bottle as her eyes aimlessly scanned the open field, lingering on the blonde that ran at ease—leading everyone else behind her.
"What 'cha doing?" the girl next to you asked with a melody, leaning over to invade your personal space even further—her nose practically pressing up against your left cheek while you watched the students at the field. Maybe if you were still a freshmen and the older girl smothered you with affection like this as she usually did, you would've been all flustered and stumbling with your words. But it's been years since the school's precious Student Council Vice President—the "Sunshine Goddess" as they've repeatedly called her since she transferred—and "Just-who-even-is-that-girl?" Y/N's dating rumors had died down, the infatuation had subsided and now you were left with the most lovable and affectionate puppy that never missed a day on telling you that she loved you.
Oh what people would give to have Student Council Vice President Kim Jiwoo's love and affection.
"Skipping class." you answered monotonously, hearing a loud gasp coming from Jiwoo who quickly clasped her water bottle shut, rising from her spot to look down at you—completely horrified at your reply. She grabbed you by your hand that was subconsciously picking on the hem of your uniform's coat, making you look back up at her as the girl pouted at you.
"Yah! Ha Y/N, Take your classes more seriously! Do you have any idea what you could be missing in your class right now? What would you do if someone told you to solve calculus or you'll die!?"
"I'll ask if I can call a friend, and I'll see if my Jiwoo-unnie can solve it for me. If she can't—then I guess I'll just die. So much for having an Unnie that's a year level above mine.."
"Y/N!" Jiwoo really did look bothered by your joke, but she looked adorable even in her worried state which made you pull your hands up in surrender.
"I'm not skipping class, we have a substitute teacher for today and he asked us to finish the homework that was given yesterday—I already finished it so I asked if I could leave early and now I'm here."
"Hey! You two! What do you think you're doing up there!?" both your eyes snapped over to a flustered, slightly ragged breathing Kim Jungeun standing by the bottom of the steps, a hands on her hips with her sharp eyes squinted to look at you and Jiwoo through the sunlight. Jiwoo tugged on your hand that she'd been holding onto, shaking it as if to mimic a wave towards the Student Council President who only looked even more irritated than when she squinted her eyes at you two.
"Jungie! Y/N left class early to watch us do PE!"
"And you actually believe her!?" Jungeun shouted from her spot, her volume loud enough for a few of their classmates who were doing laps to glance at the three of you nosily. One student who glanced at you briefly made eye contact with Jiwoo, and you swear the girl was smiling the last time you saw her—but the paling of the students face made you think otherwise. Though when you looked back at Jiwoo, she was smiling warmly at you.
"I said I was sorry, Jungeun-unnie! Will you ever let that go?" you asked the older girl by the bottom of the steps, but she only raised a brow at you before shooting you a disapproving look and letting out a 'tsk', pointing at Jiwoo.
"Enabler! Back in the field, now!"
"But the teacher's not even back yet!"
"If she says twenty laps, then it's twenty! You've only done ten! Maybe if you even tried to stop yourself from being too excited talk to Y/N—you would've already doubled that!" Jungeun pointed at the field behind her, making Jiwoo groan and start mumbling under her breath as she glanced at you before making her way down the bleachers. The blonde president raised her chin as Jiwoo lowered her eyes right back at her, handing her the water bottle before reaching the field and breaking into a full sprint. You watched in awe how she had already reached a few remaining students across the field whom were all tired out of their minds, Jiwoo zoomed past them—eyes practically overflowing with irate.
"You should head home early, I heard it's going to rain heavily today." Jungeun said as she settled on Jiwoo's previous spot next to you, the girl scanning the side of your face—your eyes following Jiwoo around the field. You turned to look at Jungeun just as she popped the bottle open, taking a few mouthfuls of water before screwing it shut to place on the space between the two of you.
"I'm pretty sure that wherever you got that forecast from—is inaccurate," Jungeun reached behind her to pull the band off her ponytail, letting her blonde locks fall loosely on her shoulders as she looked at you with intrigue, "The skies answer to one person, and one person only. And that person's name is Ha Sooyoung."
"Ha Sooyoung? Sooyoung-unnie? Your older sister?" you almost felt offended when Jungeun cackled at the mention of your older sister, until you remembered that the year your sister was just about to graduate—she apparently got close enough with Jungeun and Jiwoo through her final stretch as Student Council President at the time, enough for her to ask the two girls to watch over you as she always had until you could only see each other at home with the older girl being in college.
"She never fails at that, always giving me an umbrella when it actually rains. Ever since we were kids! But today, she didn't give me an umbrella so.. Your forecast is wrong, Unnie."
"That Unnie.. Teaching you all the wrong things in life.." you snorted at the the teasing tone before looking up at the clear blue sky, to which Jungeun did the same.
"But maybe I should, actually. Sooyoung-unnie took a day off from her internship for some reason, maybe we could grab a bite to eat or spend some time together." Jungeun leaned over to bump her shoulder against yours, grinning at you when you gave her a look.
"You're going to be like this with us when we graduate too, aren't you Y/N? You're going to miss our affection~"
"What is this? Unnie! Please not you too!"
"Hey! How dare you two be cute without me!? I'm not taking no for an answer when I come over there and kiss you both!" Jiwoo, who had finally finished running her laps hurriedly ran up the bleachers at the sight of Jungeun's arms wrapped around you as she attempted to land a kiss your cheek. The three of you ended up tangled on the ground, laughing loudly just as the school bell in the background, signalling the dismissal of all classes. Jiwoo and Jungeun headed to the showers as you waited patiently by the entrance of the field, you fiddled with the strap of your backpack that hung on one of your shoulders, eyes stuck on the view of students rustling through the parking lot, watching a few cars start pulling out of the driveway and conversations pass by.
There was one group however, four girls—one of them with striking mint colored hair whom you swore was from the same year level as you, but in another class—stood in the middle of the busy lot, the shortest of the four whom you'd assume was a freshmen, oddly hanging out with a junior and two sophomores, seemed to be in a serious conversation with them. The dark haired girl with the fiercest eyes you've probably laid eyes on in your entire life furrowed her brows at the girl as the mint-haired girl looked just about ready to walk out of the conversation—but the one girl with wavy brown hair seemed to be trying to ease the tension by slowly repeating the same words that the shorter girl had, a wary smile set on her lips as her eyes moved from one girl to another.
And then her eyes landed on you.
You quickly tore your eyes away from the four, acting as if you haven't been watching them the entire time their conversation was slowly getting heated. Just as you were about ready to turn and just wait in front of the shower room, you felt a quick tug on your arm—finding the familiar blinding smile of Jiwoo directed at you as she wrapped her arms around one of your own. But when her eyes seemed to have followed where Jungeun seemed to have went, her smile slowly fell into a thin line which made you look over to Jungeun too, staring at her back as she conversed with the four girls from earlier that you had been caught looking at.
"It's finally time, huh?" Jiwoo mumbled to herself, not noticing that though she practically whispered it—you heard her loud and clear. Whatever it was that Jiwoo was talking about, your inner voice clashed against the feeling in your gut that does not want to know what the older girl meant. Your eyes scanned the four girls that crowded around Jungeun—who's composure looked as collected as ever—when your eyes caught the mint-haired girl's oddly concerned ones and the fury that seemed to radiate from the short-haired girl..
What was going on?
"Who are they?" you asked, the question coming out as a whisper which didn't easily slide by Jiwoo, who's grip slightly loosen around your arm—yet you felt the older girl rest a cheek on your shoulder, squishing them lightly as she eyed the five.
"Good kids, you'll know soon." the way Jiwoo suddenly switched moods made you turn to look at her, the girl just looked up at you from her position just when Jungeun made her way back to you. You and Jiwoo barely even got a reaction from the blonde when she started to head over to her red Tesla on the reserved parking space which was a perk when you were a Student Council President—Jiwoo's parking space as the Student Council Vice President next to hers remained just as empty as the first year she'd been appointed in the position.
Jungeun basically drove for the both of them anyways, and when you suggested to Jiwoo to just rent her spot to profit off of it she refused—stating that she already had someone in mind that could occupy the space. You thought she meant that person to be you, but when you teaser her about it—she had quickly declared that you were never getting a driver's license.
"You'll always have us to drive you around."
It was cute how she said 'us' as if she had a license herself, so you let it slide.
"What did those kids want with you?" Jungeun brought the car to life, glancing at you from the rearview mirror just as you locked your seatbelt on. She quickly followed suit, looking over to Jiwoo who seemed to still struggle with hers no matter how many times a day she had to put it on—but Jungeun wordlessly leaned over to do it herself like always, and gone were Jiwoo's knitted brows of concentration to be replaced by a big beaming smile, ready to embark on a journey of a lifetime.
"We're crashing at yours tonight." you raised a brow at Jungeun's dismissive tone, opening your mouth to ask her what she even meant but Jiwoo turned the music on to squeal loudly when “Colors” by some girl group named “Girl of the Month” boomed through the speakers. The whole ride to your house was just spent with Jiwoo belting out whatever played on the radio, and the combined silence between you and Jungeun—but hers was different, you knew that deep, contemplative look on Jungeun's face only appears every once in a while when you were all hanging out. Usually, the girl wouldn't dare mix her school life with the fun energy she had always seemed to be in whenever it was you three but..
This one felt different.
Even the way Jiwoo suddenly stopped singing when she realized how close you were to the view of your home—hell, even Jiwoo started to fidget on her seat.
"Do you think she remembers me?" Jiwoo looked down at her peach colored backpack in between her matching peach colored chucks, wiggling her feet in a jittery manner until she felt a hand rest on her knee. Jungeun shot her a knowing look, making sure Jiwoo saw her before she faced the road again, nodding firmly.
"I'm sure she does, but that's the last thing on everyone's minds right now."
"Right, yeah—of course! How weird of me." Jiwoo breathed out an awkward laugh before clearing her throat, glancing at your odd look directed towards her before she looked back intently at Jungeun. Jungeun side-eyed the girl, quickly getting flustered by how serious Jiwoo looked.
"I swear to whoever is up there that created this world, if she doesn't get down on one knee with a ring in her hand the moment we step foot in that house when you lock eyes—she's on my hit list."
"Kim Jiwoo! What are you even—"
"She's pretty, you're pretty. She's totally in love with you, you are in love with her even if you act like you're not but it's just because you're a Tsundere and we all love you for that—but I swear, Kim Jungeun I will combust—"
"Who's cars are parked outside my house?" your eyes almost popped out of their sockets at the sight of three expensive looking cars that was parked perfectly aligned just outside your garage. The second Jungeun pulls the car to a halt, you scrambled on your seat to unclasp your seat belt before grabbing your bag and pushing the door open. You could hear Jungeun calling for you in the background as you rushed to get inside your house—but not before eyeing the blue, yellow, and green cars that continued to intimidate you—you needed make sure that Sooyoung was okay. You pushed the front door open, racing over to the staircase and completely managing to miss a tall, dark haired woman by the entrance of the living room who lightly tapped on the fish tank—giggling to herself until she heard your heavy footsteps after the front door were rashly pushed open.
You were just about to walk past your room and barge into Sooyoung's when you collided against a figure that emerged from the open door of your own room, making you fall back on the ground with a thud as you stared at what seemed to be a pair of jean-clad knees. A large, yet soft looking hand was quickly outstretched in front of you, the impact had apparently managed to rattle you into silence helped you in taking the strangers hand with no hesitation for them to pull you up from the ground—eyes finally locking into yours.
"Y/N." was the only word she muttered, blinking at you as if she was nothing but a mere husk of the human she was supposed to be. The girl looked just about your age but you couldn't deny that she was way beyond just a simple girl, though the she looked almost robotic—it didn't stop her from scanning your face before eyeing you from head to toe in your shocked state, her mouth formed into an 'o' shape.
Her eyes were very pretty.
"You're very much prettier than the images Jiwoo-unnie sends us." and with that, the girl with the cat-like eyes' gaze softened as her lips pulled into a full smile. You didn't exactly know how to react at her statement, or even at the softest smile you've ever seen in your life—what is this girl even doing here?
And she just mentioned Jiwoo-unnie—what does she have to do with this?
"Kim Hyunjin! Jiwoo-unnie said the boss is—" a lower toned voice called from behind you, only to stop dead on her tracks with her eyes widened in shock.
"Here." the girl named Kim Hyunjin finished, peeking from behind you to grin at the light haired girl. You were almost certain that you had lost all your sense of comprehension, it was as if suddenly these strangers that stood in your halls that drove the expensive looking cars parked outside—looking exactly like those models in magazine covers that a child would want to grow up as, while those of the same age could only feel their innermost insecurities come crashing down on them at the sight—had completely shattered the peace that had once been in your home.
But if these were even Sooyoung's friends—would you even be shocked at the thought of a pretty girl being friends with other pretty girls?
"B-boss." the girl whom you've finally came to the conclusion that had distinctive European features bowed in greeting, you merely blinked at the sudden title that the girl had given you as an airy laugh was released behind you. Hyunjin's laugh then died down, with the girl that stayed in her position in front of you peeking as if awaiting for a signal of some sort.
"I.. No?"
"..No?" she asked in confusion at your attempt in trying to grasp the situation, her light brown hair swayed as she tilted her head at your words—to which you could only flush at before Hyunjin moved past you, grabbing her friend's shoulders with a teasing smile on her lips as she pulled her back to her height.
"She doesn't know yet," Hyunjin told the girl, an embarrassed look settling on her soft features to which she quickly waved her hands around as if to dismiss whatever that encounter was. Hyunjin giggled to then pat the girl's head, looking back at you with a knowing look on her face, "this is Jeon Heejin, my friend—my soul friend! She looks like a puppy doesn't she? I had the same thought the first time i met her—"
"Stop that!" the duo easily slipped into lighthearted bickering, to which you just stood there, watching as bewildered as ever with Hyunjin shaking her head and Heejin's small fists clenched—attempting to look even the slightest bit intimidating—only to look like an adorable child throwing a tantrum. The two quickly wrapped it up when you heard Sooyoung call you from downstairs, which then reminded you of why you rushed into the house in the first place so you slid past the two—making your way back down on the first floor with the duo following behind you, their bickering continues but now hushed as you almost had a heart attack when rounding the corner to find a tall, dark haired woman whom you'd assume was just about as old as Sooyoung, standing by the entrance of the living room.
"Did you find what you were looking for?" the woman merely spared you a glance, looking over to the two whom both nodded in confirmation. The woman looked back at you, almost in pity before she turned to enter the living room herself, not even saying a word to you.
But really, why are these girls in your house resembling every single campus crushes that every student had once seemed to fall for during their academic years?
"Unnie.. What the hell is going on?" you asked just as Sooyoung finally came into view, standing at the other end of the livingroom by one of the tall windows that she always made a point to keep the blinds drawn—but this time, she had them all shut, peeking through them as if to check the surroundings before locking eyes with you, sharp gaze quickly turning soft and her lips easing into what resembled a frown.
"Y/N—"
"Ha Y/N, please, have a seat." a woman your eyes barely passed by once you entered the room had called for your attention, she sat by one of the singular couches that had were supposed to face the television but instead, were all positioned as if in some kind of meeting room. It looked almost exactly like the position was in one of those films where there was a person of strength sitting on one end of the room, a few unoccupied chairs aligned by both sides to reach a specific chair that was meant to be for the person being questioned.
Your eyes watched Sooyoung take the seat between the sharp-eyed woman whom had a pondering look casted on her features as she started at you and the dark haired girl with the sharp jawline who now looked blank, making you break eye contact with the woman at the end of the room to acknowledge the orange-haired other woman that sat by her other side, looking almost serene as she sipped on her tea.
"Where are Kim Lip and Chuu?"
"Waiting for Gowon's team to arrive." the dark haired girl answered the now humming short-haired girl's question, watching as Hyunjin took the seat by your right, followed by Heejin sitting next to the dark haired girl on your left—eyeing everyone in the room before flashing you a small smile.
"Y/N?" the woman called for you attention yet again, an almost hesitant smile on her lips as she motioned for you to the seat in front of you, a few feet away from entirely facing her.
"Please." you swallowed sharply before settling down on the spot she hand kept insisting for you to occupy. Just before she could begin, approaching footsteps made you look up from the faces that were already present in the room, to feel the blood drain from your head down to your toes at the familiar sight of Kim Jungeun—now seated between Hyunjin and the orange-haired woman, adorning a luxurious looking velvet black suit with a blinding red pin contrasting her black tie. The pin had been intricately designed with nothing but red gemstones and a crescent-like symbol in on it's top with a golden silhouette of what resembled an owl in the middle of it.
"..Jungeun?" your friend turned to look up at you, a hint of apology in her eyes before she looked across from her to find the once blank looking member of the group—the woman with the sharp jawline—staring softly at Jungeun before she turned to look back at what you finally decided to point as..
Their Leader.
"Let's begin."

Hello~
I've decided to start my initial plan for this account on this fic. This was a series that had come to mind when I watched a rerun of Hitman Reborn and thought that yeah, mafia au's are pretty chill but the most I've read for the ones with this group was.. Are there even any? If so, I'd love to read them.
But initially, this had always been a reader included idea—almost shifted into a 2jin one (would probably write about as well when I can) but that would be a different universe compared to this one. And that plot would be fixed along with a handful of different groups but as I've said—I hope I can write it when I can.
This is only act one, probably.. made up of three acts? Twelve episodes each? When I finish the series, I'd probably make one shots of this universe—so many plans with such a short amount of time~
The plot would progress as it goes, minor ideas would make its way into major plots—nothing is of certain, who you would end up with is indefinite, the lore will be laid.. But the uncertainty that comes with this, when it will actually finish or just disappear into the drafts after five episodes or so..
I cannot guarantee even my own attachment to the plot, but it played well in my mind when I thought about it and so here I am. Though Congratulations on stumbling upon this fic, and I apologize if you ever become as immersed as I am with this.
Laters,
JJ.

You felt the heat on the back of your neck before you heard the bang. The heat made your skin tingle, and you ducked just as a loud BAM knocked you forward into your table. Behind you, a cauldron bubbled and spit, sending the failed potion spewing onto your robes. The hiss made you wince and jump up, slipping out of the robe before whatever had just exploded onto you could seep through the cloth. A curse lingered on your lips, your nose crinkling into a frown until a low, soft voice stopped you in your tracks.
“I’m so sorry! I must have thrown in the wrong ingredient!” A pretty girl in Gryffindor robes was standing behind the cauldron, her face smudged by her own explosion and her brown hair standing on end. Her lips were turned down in a pout, and you felt your heart skip before you shook your head, looking down at your robes instead. The potion, thankfully, hadn’t left any marks.
“T-that’s okay....” You trailed off, all the curses you’d thought of before disappearing and leaving you speechless. Beside you, your fellow Ravenclaw student Hyewon looked up at you incredulously, like she couldn’t believe you weren’t upset. You’d cursed at other students in potions before, but something about this girl made your heart skip a beat as she whined and wiped at her face, trying to explain herself to her partner, who looked just as shocked as everyone else.
Thankfully, you wouldn’t have to explain yourself to Hyewon, because the professor cleared his throat loudly and stomped over to the offending cauldron.
“Miss Jeon Heejin, do you care explaining how you blew up a potion that is not meant to blow up?”
“I-I must have added the wrong ingredient,” Heejin said, bowing her head and clasping her hands together nervously. Right then, she did not look like a brave Gryffindor. Instead, she resembled a scolded puppy. Your heart went out to her, just as you remembered your classmates talking about her. Heejin, the girl who blew up everything she touched. You’d never been lucky enough to be in a class with her until this year, apparently.
“You have continuously messed up almost every potion we’ve made this year, how have you not learned from your past mistakes yet? Will it take blowing up this whole room for you to learn to pay attention and be careful?”
“I was doing better though! I hadn’t blown up anything yet this year.” Heejin gained some of her confidence back, straightening her shoulders before a well-placed glare from the professor made her slump back down again.
“You’ve gotten almost every potion wrong, not blowing them up isn’t something you should be proud of! How you’ve gotten this far in your wizarding schooling with skills like this, I don’t know, but I’ve half a mind to-.”
“Excuse me.” You butted in, surprising even yourself as you stepped forward. The professor stopped and turned to look at you, his eyebrows raising.
“Yes, (Y/N)?”
“I couldn’t help but overhear your lecture. If she needs help in potions, I would be happy to tutor her. After all, I am the top student in the class.”
Heejin’s eyes went wide, before a slow smile spread over her face. “Really? You’d do that for me?” Her happiness made you feel better about your very sudden decision, and you smiled, nodding your head as you folded your robe over your arm.
“Of course. If that’s okay with you, professor.”
“By all means.” The professor sighed and waved his hand. “Anything to keep her from blowing something up again.” With that, he walked away, and you held out your hand.
“I’m (Y/N), from Ravenclaw.”
“I’m Heejin, from Gryffindor.”
“I know,” you said with a smile, “you’re the one who blows up everything you touch.”
Her cheeks flushed at the nickname and she sighed, trying to run her hands the her now-frayed hair. “It’s not like I do it on purpose. I just can’t get the hang of potions. I’ve never been any good at it.”
“Hopefully we can fix that. Meet me here after dinner. I’ll get permission to use the room after hours and we’ll work from there. Sound like a plan?”
Her smile returned and she nodded. “That sounds great, thank you again!”
“No problem.”
As you returned to your seat, Hyewon wiggled her eyebrows. “Since when do you help the helpless?” She whispered, grinning, and you did your best to ignore her, turning your attention instead to your own perfect potion.
“That’s none of your business.”
-
When you met Heejin that evening, she’d cleaned up and somehow looked even prettier, the petite bridge of her nose visible without the presence of soot on her face. She’d washed her hair, and it now lay in waves down across her shoulders. Her Gryffindor robe was big on her, and you had a feeling that someone had let her borrow theirs, because hers had looked pretty messed up earlier. Still, she was smiling, and your heart skipped a beat as you walked up to her.
God. She was too pretty.
“Ready?” You asked, pulling out the key in your pocket, and she nodded, looking all too excited. It made you a bit nervous.
“I’m ready! How did you get them to give you the key?”
“I’m the best potions student in Hogwarts,” you explained smoothly, bragging a bit as you opened the door and let her inside. “They know I won’t mess anything up.”
“That’s impressive. Potions is really hard.” Heejin sighed as she sat down at the single table left with a cauldron, per your request, pressing her hands against the seat and swinging her legs. “There’s just so many things to remember and they all get jumbled up in my head. Same with all the stirring and the temperature of the fire.... It’s too complicated.”
“It’s a science.” You walked to the ingredients cabinet as you spoke. “Nobody ever gets it right on the first time. That’s why there’s so much damage control for the first years. But once you get it down, it becomes easier and easier. Memorization and confidence are key.” After a short pause to look at the list of ingredients for Confusing Concoction, you grabbed the things you needed and turned to her with a smile. “I’ll teach you how I do it.”
Heejin was a good student, despite her reputation. She watched and listened carefully and took notes with a sparkly red pen as you explained each of the ingredients in detail and what purpose they had in the potion. Although she was obviously nervous as she stood next to the cauldron, your reassurance that you were only handing her the correct things made her more confident, and she did as you told her, putting things in one by one and stirring the cauldron slow.
You were mostly just watching as she put in the last thing, put the movement of her wrist caught your eye. She was stirring faster. To make sure that you weren’t just imagining things, you watched a little longer. Sure enough, Heejin seemed to speed up with each stir, and you smiled to yourself. You’d found the problem.
“Okay,” you said, stepping forward and putting your hand on her wrist. She startled slightly as you moved behind her, and you realized belatedly that this was a pretty intimate position. Clearing your throat, you moved to the side a bit to give her more space, doing your best to focus on the potion instead of on how good she smelt. “I found your problem. You stir really, really fast.”
She blinked, but let you move her wrist slowly around the cauldron in a slight zig-zag pattern. “But all the ingredients are in, does the speed matter anymore?”
“It’s the most important right now. If everything mixes together too quickly, it can cause an explosion. For Confusing Concoction, you want to stir slowly and make the letter z. That’s what makes it thicken to the right consistency.”
“Oh....” She fell quiet until you took your wrist away, your throat dry. Without your hand, she continued to do the right motion, and a smile came to her lips. “That’s not so hard!”
“Nope. Not at all.” Once the potion was at the right consistency, you reached over to stop her wrist and smiled. “You did it. That’s Confusing Concoction, the very same potion you blew up on me in class.”
She blushed, but she was still smiling as she backed away. “Wow. I really did it! It didn’t blow up or turn a strange color or anything!” Her eyes were wide as she peered down at it. “How can you tell it’s ready?”
“Three things.” You pointed at how the potion stuck slightly to the stirring stick. “First, his potion is supposed to have this thick consistency. Almost like molasses or syrup.” Then you pointed to the clock. “Second, I know that it takes a certain amount of time to brew correctly. Third, the color is correct. Even one ingredient wrong would have made the color off. Since it meets all of those criteria, I have to say that you have successfully created Confusing Concoction.”
“You’re so cool,” Heejin breathed, and your heart skipped another beat. “This is great! I can’t believe I really did it! With your help, of course, but I’ve never done this well!”
You laughed, and wondered why you found her sheepish smile so adorable before reminding yourself to be a good tutor. “You’ll do even better by the time I’m done with you. Now come on, I’m going to get a sample of this to show the professor, and then we should clean up and get to bed. Oh, and I’ve got some reading material for you.”
When the two of you parted ways at the door, Heejin left you with a quick hug and a wave, and your heart wouldn’t stop pounding.
-
“How’s tutoring Heejin been? I’ve seen the two of you giggling together in the hallway. It seems like there’s a lot more than tutoring going on.” Hyewon cornered you one day as you parted ways with Heejin outside the Ravenclaw portrait (she’d decided to walk you back to your dorms, and you’d be lying if it didn’t make your heart skip a beat).
“Don’t be silly. I’m trying to make sure that she doesn’t blow us all up one day.” You tried your best to scoff like you would have before you met Heejin, but your heart just wasn’t with it. Plus, your heart was beating like crazy, and you were pretty sure your ears were red. Hyewon just smiled and raised her eyebrows.
“But you like her.”
You swallowed and ducked around her, her heart shuddering in your chest. You couldn’t even try and deny it anymore, but that didn’t mean you were confident enough to say it. Not when Heejin looked like a cute, confused bunny, or when her smile was as radiant as the sun.
“Shut up,” you said, for a lack of anything else to say. Hyewon just snickered and followed you inside.
-
Heejin had slowly wiggled her way into your heart with her cute smile and her soft hair and her scrunched up nose when she concentrated. The tutoring sessions were still tutoring, you still taught her potions and answered any questions she had, but there was more... talking. Getting to know each other. Smiling and laughing.
They’d turned into something you looked forward to at the end of the day, and you wondered if Heejin felt the same way.
One thing was for sure, though. She was improving in potions every day. Soon, she wouldn’t even need your help anymore.
And you weren’t sure what you’d do when that happened.
-
“Whatever you’re doing to help Heejin, it’s working. She’s improving exponentially.” The professor smiled widely at you, and you did your best to smile back. Usually, you’d love hearing teacher’s praise, but this time, you felt a sense of dread.
“Thank you, sir.”
“You know, if she passes this upcoming test, she won’t even need help anymore. We’re going to be brewing Draught of Peace, and if she can successfully brew that, she can brew anything!”
Your heart dropped. It was just as you’d expected. Your days with Heejin were coming to a close. But you smiled anyway, nodding as the professor looked at you. You couldn’t do anything to hurt Heejin’s grades.
“I’ll do my best to make sure she passes.”
-
This time of the year was always a blur, only made worse by your worry over what you’d do once your tutoring sessions ended. Before you new it, it was the day of the big test in potions, and you faltered at the door, not wanting to go inside. Was this what test anxiety was like?
“What’s wrong?” Hyewon asked sleepily, bumping into your back.
“I-I don’t want to go into class today.”
She frowned. “What do you mean? You’ll do fine, you’re the number one student when it comes to potions.”
“That’s not it,” you said, and she finally got it, letting out a little sigh.
“Oh, it’s Heejin.”
“Yeah.”
“Listen, you guys have gotten really close. I don’t think she’ll just drop you after she finally passes something in potions. She doesn’t seem like that type of person.”
“You think so?” You looked at your friend, feeling pathetic for being so scared, and she wrapped an arm around your shoulder.
“I know so. And I’m never wrong. Now let’s get inside before we get points taken away for being late.”
The room was already almost full, only a few straggling students still missing, and you turned to look at Heejin before you could help yourself. She was studying the notes she’d taken with you the day before, her nose scrunched up in concentration, but when you looked up and locked eyes with you, she smiled.
“Good luck,” she said softly as you passed, and you couldn’t help smiling as well.
“Good luck to you too.”
As you reached your seat, you took a deep breath and closed your eyes. You were the best potions student in the school. You had no reason to be nervous. You could do this.
When you opened your eyes again, the ingredient cabinet was open, and you were in the zone. You didn’t think about Heejin, even as much as you wanted to. You focused on your own potion until it was done, then sat back with a sigh and a little smile.
You’d done it.
Then you heard an excited yell behind you, and you turned around to see that Heejin had done it too. Her face was flushed from excitement and she’d smudged something on her face, but she’d finished the potion. And she hadn’t blown anything up.
“Very good, Heejin,” the professor said with a smile. “I’m impressed.”
“Thank you!” She beamed from his praise, almost glowing as she stepped away from her table, and you couldn’t look away. Not even when she turned and locked eyes with you, or when she began to walk around her table.
The next thing you knew, your arms were full of one Jeon Heejin, and she was hugging you tight. She also smelt distinctly of vanilla and flowers, and you wondered for a moment if her lips would be as soft as her face was against yours before she pulled away and you snapped out of it.
“I did it! And it’s all because of you!” She was still smiling, holding onto your shoulders, and her smile was too contagious not to smile back, even if you felt a little sad as you did.
“It was your hard work and willingness to learn that made you succeed. I just helped. I’m proud of you.” At your words, the tips of her ears colored pink with pleasure and she glanced down, uncharacteristically shy.
“Thank you. For everything.”
“Of course.”
It wasn’t until class was ending and everyone was moving towards the doors that you had the courage to tell her. Swallowing, you patted her shoulder and put on a fake smile. “Congratulations again. I was happy to tutor you.”
She smiled, but then it faded a bit as your words sank in. “What do you mean by that?”
“The professor said that, if you passed this test, you wouldn’t need my help anymore. But I had a lot of fun with you, and I’m proud of how far you came.”
“Oh.” Her face fell and you wanted to cheer her up, to hug her, to do something, but one of her friends came to her side, whining about how hard the test had been, and she cleared her throat. “Um, I had fun too. Thank you again. I’ll see you around?”
“Yeah,” you said, giving her a little wave. “See you around.”
You turned to watch her walk away once you were outside the classroom, and Hyewon sighed.
“Why didn’t you say anything?”
“I couldn’t.”
“But you guys obviously like each other. Come on, I could have cut that tension with a knife.”
You turned away, clutching your books tighter. You didn’t know why you hadn’t said anything, but the words just hadn’t come out. All you could do was shake your head at Hyewon and say “I know.”
-
Once the evening rolled around, you found yourself restless. Laying in bed didn’t seem right, but neither did doing homework, and eventually you grew frustrated with distracting yourself and stood up, throwing on your shoes and heading out of the dorms. You no longer had the key, but you figured a walk to the potions classroom might help you feel better.
As you approached, you saw a figure sitting outside the doors, her head leaned back against the wall. Your heart stopped and, for a moment, you stopped too. Could it be? When you started walking again, your heart was pounding in your chest, the beating only getting faster as you got closer and the figure turned to look at you.
It was Heejin. And she was smiling.
“I was hoping you’d come.”
You found yourself smiling as well as you shoved your hands into your pockets and stopped in front of her. “Sorry, I don’t have the key,” you said, even though you knew that wasn’t what she was waiting for. Sure enough, she just laughed before standing to her feet.
“I really like you, (Y/N),” she said bluntly, and your heart did a back flip inside your chest. So this was the brave Gryffindor that had been inside Heejin this whole time. “And I don’t want to stop seeing you. Even if it’s not tutoring, I want to be around you.”
“I like you too,” you admitted, relieved to finally have the feelings off your chest. You felt giddy and nervous, yet it was so right at the same time. “And I don’t want to stop seeing you either.”
“Good.” She stepped closer to you, her eyes sparkling in the candlelit hallway. “Then let’s date.”
“Okay.”
You usually weren’t one to be bossed around. But this time, as you smiled widely and pulled your hands out of your pockets to reach out and grab her hands instead, you found you didn’t mind. You also found that Heejin’s lips were just as soft as her skin when she giggled and leaned in to kiss you, silently sealing the deal with her gentle vanilla-scented touch.

My 2020
Hey y’all. So 2020 happened. That was a thing. Apparently. I know for a lot of people this year was uhm… pretty shit… but it was still a year that happened so it’s time for my annual reflection post (probably the only time I still post about myself on tumblr lol) and maybe we might even find some good things that happened this year!
The Beginning of 2020 vs Now
So, a lot has changed since the start of the year. A pandemic happened, for one. I can’t believe that a year ago I could still go to class every day and see my friends and now I’m pretty much stuck at home every day. The year started out pretty normal and then march happened and well, you all know what happened next. The worst part about the pandemic for me personally was probably the fact that I barely see my friends anymore and I can’t go to class every day. Some people may not think that not going to class is that bad, but I really enjoyed university more than I ever enjoyed school and I was really happy going there every day, and I was already sad I’d only have 4 to 5 years to spend there, so when that period got even shorter it made me kinda sad.
On the other hand, I do think that mentally I’m in a much better place than I was last year around this time. Being home this much really gave me time to reflect and work on my issues, and because my sister was stuck in our house for a couple of weeks I got to talk to her a lot which really helped me feel better. I think in general my entire family (my brother, sister and mom) have become a lot more open with each other which I think is great! I guess quarantine can have some benefits.
 The Best Things about 2020
Okay, here’s is where we’re going to get even more positive and go over all the good things that happened (to me) this year! To be honest, most of the year was a bit of a blur so I probably will forget quite a bit, but I’m going to give this a try anyway. At the start of the year (when things were still normal) I was super excited to get into the next semester, as the one before had,,, kinda sucked, and those 6 weeks of class I had at the start of the year were really great. I remember me and my friends having a competition of who could get mentioned the most in our teacher’s powerpoint presentation so those classes were always interesting. I also finally got to dye my hair for the first time with the help of my friends. I’ve been wanting to do that for so long, and I’m so happy I finally got to do it! I even know how to do it myself now, and my hair hasn’t been brown since the start of march! Then, at the start of march, my dad and stepmother moved away and I permanently moved in with my mom. Before, I used to live with both my mom and my dad and I got really really sick of switching houses every week, so to finally live in one house and have all my stuff in one place was a bit of a relief to me, and I’m still really happy with it. After that, things become a bit blurry. I remember that at the start of quarantine in … April? I watched Sex Education or the first time, which is now not only one of my favourite shows ever, but also taught me a lot and helped me with some of the issues I was dealing with. We’ll skip over the subsequent sexuality crisis I had (I think I might actually be straight??), and skip straight to the summer, when I started watching I-Land. I watched every episode as it aired live, and because of this show my Fridays really became the highlight of the week. I don’t think I’ve ever been so invested in a survival show XD. The rest of the year was mostly just me spending time with myself. It got a bit lonely sometimes, but I also don’t think I’ve ever written as much as I have this year, and my drawing has significantly improved (if I may say so myself)! Especially towards the end of the year, when I started making a planning every day to prevent myself from wasting away all my time on youtube, I got super productive, and I wrote a lot, and made a lot of art, and I really felt good. I even started (gasp) working out. Yeah I know. Shocking right.
There was also a lot of good music that was released this year, and, to close this section on a great note, through one of my classes I finally found a group of friends to play D&D with! We haven’t actually played yet, but we will, and I’m so excited to play the game and get to know these people more! They all seem really kind!
 My Resolutions for 2020?
Now, here’s the part where we check whether I actually reached all the goals I set myself for 2020. As usual, I have no idea what my resolutions were, so I honestly have no idea how I did. Let’s see, shall we?
Express my feelings more (as in I get really awkward in any sappy or mushy situation but I would like to be able to tell people I appreciate them without cringing) – UHM way to attack me on the very first resolution jeez. I did get more open with my family but I still can’t tell people I care about them without cringing so this is a fail lol
Again, learn to depend less on other people’s opinion and trust my own – I’ve been working on it, I think I’ve gotten a bit better? So win?
Get my sleeping schedule back on track – did that! It’s a bit whacky again now because of the holidays, but October and November were a big success regarding this resolution
WRITE MORE. This time I’ll make some concrete goals: Either I’ll get my story’s first draft done, or I’ll write 100 pages on a single project – okay, so here’s the thing. I don’t think I did any of these particular things, however this time I am 100% sure I wrote a lot more than the past years. I cannot count all the files and pages and notes I have now, but I wrote a lot, so I’m counting this as a win
I want to try NaNoWriMo (not necessarily in November, but at some point) – yeah, didn’t do that oops
I want to read a lot again but maybe not as much as this year because I want to focus on writing too. 40 books? – 49 books babey
Read all my current unread books (Aru Shah 2, Skullduggery Pleasant 9, Gemina, The Mistborn Trilogy and Call Down The Hawk) and finish my reread of Heroes of Olympus and the Raven Cycle) – Did all of these except Skullduggery Pleasant 9 (the start was so boring I decided not to read it all) and The Mistborn Trilogy (I am about halfway through the first book I think?) so I’m counting this as half a win
Finally read a book by V.E. Schwab (I’ve been wanting to try one of her books for ages) – Did that! Read a whole trilogy. It was good but not as great as I expected them to be. I think my expectations were too high though
Finish Playing Twilight Princess (I promised my brother) – Did that! I’m really proud of myself and so is my brother
Go. Swimming. Seriously. It’s scandalous that I still haven’t done that after waiting so long to be able to – IT’S BEEN 5 YEARS SINCE I LAST WENT SWIMMING WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME. I did buy new swimshorts but I still haven’t actually used them… shame on me
Try to worry less about school and not overwork myself – kinda?
Maybe try another drawing challenge somewhere this summer? I haven’t done any of those in a while and I feel like my art needs more attention – okay, so I didn’t do that, but I did at the start of the year make the resolution to make portrait/photoshoot-like drawings for my 8 main oc’s, and I did actually manage to finish that, and they are some of the best drawings I’ve ever made, so though I haven’t actually done a challenge specifically, I did do something
I want to try a 24 hour readathon – Yeah, didn’t do that oops
I kinda want to learn a piano piece as well, but I already have so many hobbies I want to focus on so I don’t know if I’ll have the time ☹ – yeah my dad sold our piano so… fail XD
 Expectations for 2021
Now, after last year I think it’s safe to say we can never really know what to expect. But! I’m going to guess anyway because it’ll be really fun to see next year whether I got anything right.
The first thing that I think will probably happen this year (if I don’t majorly mess anything up) is I’ll be writing my thesis next semester, and then in the summer I’ll get my bachelor’s degree. Honestly I can’t believe how fricking fast those 3 years went, but I guess I’ll just have to roll with it lol. Corona vaccinations will also probably start happening next year, and hopefully this will mean that going outside and seeing my friends will be possible again next year – at least a lot more than it was this year. I hope 2021 will be the year of hanging out with friends and getting to live a little again. Maybe even get to go to class. That would be great.
On to more minor – but no less exciting – things, 2021 will probably bring us a new season of Sex Education! I’m sooo excited for that holy shit. And, in a similar vein, I have high hopes for kpop releases now that SHINee is finally back, and it looks like Haseul is also returning to LOONA! 2021 will also be the year in which ENHYPEN makes their first comeback, and some of the other I-LAND contestants will also make their debut, and there might even be a new season of I-LAND as well in the summer? So there’s a lot of things to look forward to. Oh, and I almost forgot, Dan Howell’s book will be released in May, and there will be a new Grishaverse book, and the Shadow and Bone show will start airing, which I am really curious about. Again, lots of things to look forward to!
 2021 Resolutions
I’m not feeling as ambitious as I was last year, but there are a couple of things I want to try and do, so let’s jump into the resolutions!
I just came up with this today, but I think I want to try and build a bit of a skincare routine? The skin on my nose is kinda flakey, and I think it couldn’t hurt to try and take better care of my skin
Keep up with my daily workouts. I want to work out every day, except when I’m at my dad’s or when it’s a special day, like Christmas or something.
Be able to do either 50 push-ups on my knees, 25 normal push-ups, or both
GO SWIMMING
Keep up with planning daily! It’s a really good way to balance all of my 3195 hobbies and it helps me to not get stressed about school
Write (almost) every day. I need to make it a habit
Draw at least once a week, every other day if possible
Go outside at least once a week. That doesn’t seem very hard but with corona I did not realise how little I go outside if I am not forced to. Sometimes I spend 3 weeks without going out and I don’t even notice it. That can’t be good for me lol
Try to make healthier food choices. Maybe follow the lunch meal plan of the guy whose workout videos I follow.
Get my bachelor’s degree
Grow a beard. I’m getting closer… I know I’m getting closer…
Meet with my frIENDS and give them the alBUMS I have for them
Be more careful with my money, maybe even save a bit of money
Spend less time on social media
Read more educational books
I think that’s it! I can’t think of anything else right now so these will have to do. I wish that 2021 will treat all of you much better than whatever mess 2020 was! Happy 2021!

according to my archive, the top 10 groups that ive reblogged the most are
dreamcatcher with 4613 posts
loona - 2847
twice - 1217
weki meki - 1066
red velvet - 1063
fromis 9 - 839
everglow - 601
izone - 541
pentagon - 525
wjsn - 405
its wild to me that dreamcatcher is almost 2000 posts higher than the next highest, and more than triple the group in third place lol. i mean i know it makes sense cause you can definitely see that if you scroll my archive but damn thats a huge difference. also everglow is way higher than i thought... thats kinda confusing actually lol... and wjsn too, like, i dont really consider them a group that i’m particularly invested in... i guess the members are just pretty haha, i guess i reblog them a lot.
for the most part though, this is pretty much accurate to my actual top 10 groups. i would take out everglow and wjsn and add in exid (who are a bit below wjsn actually, they’re number 12 on my blog, with only itzy between them and wjsn) and... idk... im not really sure who my tenth favorite group is, maybe it is everglow after all? or maybe it’ll end up being cignature? this list is roughly in a sort of correct order too, which makes sense. weki meki is lower than they should be just because there arent as many posts of them lol, and twice is a bit higher than they should be just because of the sheer amount of posts that there are of them.
and now for idols:
jiu with 1032 posts
dami - 847
yoohyeon - 804
handong - 654
sua - 642
siyeon - 587
hyunjin - 396
jinsoul - 385
gahyeon - 380
chuu - 371
wfijqewkopgmwneirujgikwerg can you tell what my favorite group is
dami was my most reblogged for a looong time even before i decided that dc was my number one group, and i remember seeing that jiu had passed dami on my blog, but when the hell did she get to be 200 posts higher than dami lmao? and the only individual idol over 1000 posts? i almost have more jiu on my blog than all of weki meki, oh my god. i cant believe there’s only two groups represented in this top ten though oirjf;egniwerkgege but like i guess that’s why dc and loona’s numbers are so high... gowon is at 350 and that should be higher, she’d definitely be in the top ten, but at one point i switched from tagging her “go won” to just “gowon”, and even though i did use a thing to edit all those tags, the archive only tracks the tags used when something was posted, so if you edit them after the fact, that isnt reflected in the tag list on your archive page. because this is a bad website. that also means a lot of these numbers arent accurate but idk theyre close enough. “go won” does appear on the list too, with 136 posts, meaning i guess gowon’s total should actually be 486, making her the loona member ive reblogged the most, which is accurate lol, that makes sense. she and hyunjin are my biases so that adds up.
but then... the first non-loona and non-dreamcatcher idol is, of course, yoojung at 358 lol, she of course would be as high as jiu if there were as many posts of her lol. as it stands she’s number 11, she might crack into the top 10 one day. other notable numbers are joy at 326, which makes her the highest non-dc non-loona non-yoojung idol on my blog, eyedi at 297 which is surprising cause i didnt even know there are 297 eyedi posts on this website, and then hayoung (fromis 9) at 196 aw man thats sad, she’s wayyy down, there’s a bunch of idols i skipped over just now, but aw she’s one of my ults lol she should be higher :(
so like needless to say, this list doesnt really reflect my top ten biases lmao. i think my top ten would be, in no particular order cause itd take too long to think about rn: yoojung, yoohyeon, jiu, dami, hayoung, gowon, hyunjin, kang mina, and idk... some combination of joyuriz (yuri, yena, chaewon), baek yebin maybe, siyeon maybe, dahyun or nayeon or myoui mina maybe, man idk what my top ten biases actually would be lmao... my point is tho that this isnt represented because it comes down to how many posts there are of them, i guess. with groups it can represent my actual order more because a lot of posts are just generally about a group and i dont tag with the members names, and stuff like that.
idk i just thought this was interesting. i dont pay close attention to this but i check it once in a while cause its just kinda neat
also the highest male idol on my blog is kino at only 94...................................... so................. make of that what you will.........

fav ♀-releases in 2018 (in no particular order)
so, since i started this list like this last year too, here we go: i know little to nothing about music, i have weird (may i say b a d) taste and my reasonings are - as expected from a subjective list - Super personal ,, also i dont follow every female k-artists so there are definitely blind spots for me too! that said ... LETS GET GAY! LETS GO LESBIANS!
Wind (바람 ) - Heize
suprise surprise, its Heize again. i was rarely this excited about a comeback this year as i was about Wind ... i adore this mini. i really love Heize’s voice, especially now that she is playing around with rapping And singing more than ever, its just ,, i hear her voice and i just, immediately calm down and feel a warm glow in me rising and --- this is getting really cheesy, isn’t it.
my fav tracks have to be Sorry and wish you well (feat. DAVII), however i can listen to this whole album without a problem - of course Jenga as the title was amazing as well, Dahye’s voice works really well with Gaeko’s as well. additionally i loved the ~design for this album, the photoshoot is stunning and the whole aesthetic is very much up my alley.
AND SINCE WE R ALREADY TALKING ABOUT DAHYE:
+ First Sight (첫눈에) - Heize
as expected, i love her winter single release as well. again, a Lovely mixture of her singing and a solid very groovy amazing rapping part. i did like her mini a lot more lyricwise (lots of it is really sad but Sorry has such smart lyrics!!!), however as a “”simple”” winter release that is meant to fit this season, this is amazing.
...... also have i mentioned how Beautiful she is, jfc.
Deine - Ha:tfelt
Oh Boy. Here we go.
this is hands-down my Favorite Release of this whole year. i don’t know if its clear, but i adore yeeun. i adore her as the person park yeeun, who is an activist and very outspoken about her position of a woman in the industry, her experiences in one of the most successful girlgroups Ever, her views on feminism and sexism, the fact that she collabed with a drag organizer for her exhibition, etc etc etc. however, i also love yeeun as Ha:tfelt and adore her music. Pluhmm is such a sensual, fun and soft and yet strong song about her Own Desires and a woman that Wants to flirt and be in love and have fun and Be sensual and its so so so lovely and warm and playful and confident? i died a little at the MV because Ha:tfelt is a Woman and is portrayed as such, she is sensual and sexy and its portrayed by yeeun dancing around a flat in the sexiest dress and feeling herself and. its just Wonderful. so wonderful. i love her. Cigar is super touching too, very smooth and slick and polished and yet it has a vulnerable touch to it and is just ,, such a good song ....... thank u yenny.
Warning - Sunmi
ANOTHER AMAZING WOMAN. if i had to choose a soloist that is more active and actively promotes and performs on music and award shows etc, i’d definitely go for Sunmi. first of all: sunmi is outstandingly hardworking, talented, tough, brave, but also so so so kind and sweet and self-aware (seriously her twitter account is my social media highlight of this year, she is beyond ADORABLE and wonderful and funny) and of course she is fucking beautiful. this album is AMAZING - i can listen to the whole tracklist without skipping a single song. i adore Siren (aesthetically its my favorite title track of hers, though i do think Gashina is a little more catchy, esp together with that choreo - but i Love Siren’s horror-esque MV with the, well, siren-mermaid-imagery, so good!) but personally my favorite SONGS are ADDICT and Black Pearl - both sound very different actually, one being completely in English, but it just shows how well Sunmi can pull of different styles. god ... have u seen her on stage? shes a m a z i n g.
KHAN - I’m Your Girl ?
I started following Euna and Minju already before they debuted ... but what really made me fall in love with both their voices, be it singing or rapping (cause both are quite good at both ,,) was their DNA cover! generally the fact that they keep posting really cool covers on their youtube channel is beyond lovely and these two really managed to make me like a version of DNA ... (probably my least favorite BTS title track, lmao ,,)
their actual debut was just lovely. the song is great, soothing and super smooth and groovy and easy to listen to, their voices are stunning in it, the MV is VERY GAY, the choreo is fun and their outfits for promotion stages were such a lovely fresh wind and i really enjoyed seeing them perform a LOT. i just really like that KHAN already is quite unique and m so so so looking forward to future comebacks!
BBIBBI - IU
no highlight list without Jieun. the lyrics to this track were solely written by her and it shows - IU is an outstanding songwriter, i adore her hard work and experience and talent. the sound of the track itself is fun and bubbly and groovy and Very catchy, but my highlight is how this conflicts so beautifully with the lyrics that are quite ... critical and rough and basically show a very very sweet lovely middle finger to the rumour-netizen-culture around her ,, i am super excited for future full releases from jieun, though i still listen to Palette a lot and think she should take all the time she needs!
Bad Boy - Red Velvet
sadly, i didnt not really enjoy Red Velvets later release this year and neither did i really dig their summer release, but what i do adore to the moon and back is their The Perfect Red Velvet - The 2nd Album Repackage, though thats a lil bit of cheating since i already mentioned their Perfect Velvet album last year ,,
Bad Boy is my favorite title track of theirs this year, the styling is OUTSTANDINGLY GOOD MY GOD and the sound is just, smooth and cool and sexy and just ... damn.
also, Red Velvet definitely has some of my favorite jacket photoshoots of this year, the quality and beauty of their photos is amazing, i could spend hours just looking at those ......... and maybe i did.
What Is Love? - TWICE
the nations girl group powered through this year and released so many catchy awesome songs that i had a hard time choosing one ,, but What Is Love is definitely my MV highlight of the year and also the song itself is so so fun and lovely and cheerful and just makes me feel happy ... thank u for making me happy, TWICE!
You And I - Dreamcatcher
i have to admit: Dreamcatcher is not really my sound. their tracks remind me a little too much of Very Loud Stressful Anime Openings, so i accept that its just not my music taste ,, HOWEVER i actually really really like You and I. the song is very catchy and has this one part right before the chorus that i really love, its a very cool mysterious “dark” awesome track. moreover though i love the Whole Package that is Dreamcatcher (again, this horror-esque style of theirs is Really Up My Alley) - their styling and choreos are so clever and SEXY and goth-y and different, its just so fucking fun to watch them perform, especially the Choreo to You and I is so so so so so cool!
(also they r somewhat of a lesbian cult and m Very Appreciative of that, my god.)
LOOΠΔ - just, the whole thing.
SO - it took me until this year to really get into Loona. i knew them beforehand and was intrigued by the unique pre-debut “schedule” that their company was doing and checked out some songs but never got into them deeper. however, this year i truly listened to the Broad Amazing Variety that Loona offers and i just Have to include them here. all the girls and the subunits are super interesting and diverse and i love how especially the solo songs all sound different and lots of things were tried out and the AESTHETICS ARE OFF THE CHARTS. their full group debut was a little too ... they played it too ~safe for my taste, however i still adore lots of LOONA songs and can only recommend them!
(my favs are So Boring, i love Egoist and Heart Attack and Singing in the Rain and New and ... i’ll get back to this once i develop an actual Interesting opinion lmao)
i Can’t possibly end this list without some honorable mentions, because girls are amazing:
- (G)I-DLE are amazing rookies and performers and just such an awesome new girlgroup. Soyeon’s stage presence is just ,, wow, she is such a good rapper and performer, but the other girls are also so amazing and m so glad they are so successful and loved so far. favorite track of this year is def HANN (Alone), though all their songs are mighty good.
- Oh My Girl. maybe i dont listen to their songs as much but m in deep love with their visuals and stages and man ... call me, Yooa, please, m free almost every night.
- fromis_9 had such a cute quirky hyper Love Bomb comeback, i loved it!
- Momoland similarly had such catchy fun songs, i gotta mention them too!
- Hyuna - i love Hyuna and i wish her all the best and happiness and love and success and i hope to see her on stage again soon! (i especially loved her in Triple H, since i was actually quite a fan of that trio and the retro funky sound they went for ...... big sigh @ cube)
- Yubin ... again, not really my sound, but man. kill me Yubin, just do it, cmon.
- EXID is back to OT5! m so happy!!! I Love You was really fun, but I definitely enjoyed DDD last year more ,, but i still wanted to mention them, such a fun, diverse, different girlgroup that offers lots of different sounds and visuals and stands out to me a lot, so so good!
- Chungha ... m still in the process of falling in love with Chungha but oh god .... have u seen her? her dancing skills are out of this world, her beauty is stunning, she is so so sweet and kind and tough and her songs m so eager to properly discover and also a rly niche point but: I LOVE HER ALBUM DESIGNS SO SO SO MUCH.
- Minseo is another new amazing soloist ,, i discovered her at first through my fav photographers instagram (@ mu_gung) who took just. outstanding pics of Minseo but i also Adore her voice and she has done Amazing covers as well, her Why So Lonely is my absolute favorite and id dare to say i like it just as much as the original ... check her out, her MV visuals and concepts are Super interesting and beautiful and fun as well!
and many many many many more that i missed or forgot!
just know: girls are the best.

A/N: I love when people give prompts thank you so much and I hope this was okay for you!

Tumblr media
You woke up earlier than usual, the sun peeking its way through the blinds in your bedroom. You put on your glasses, checking your phone aimlessly, before stretching and getting up.
You headed into the kitchen to have breakfast, yawning as your bare feet felt the cold of the tiles underneath them. You hadn’t made any plans with anyone, and you didn’t plan to either. You hadn’t been by yourself for a long time, which you didn’t mind, of course, you had school and friends and family to occupy your time, but you finally had a day off to have some alone time.
You got dressed, slinging your backpack over your shoulders and heading out to town. You walked with your head down, watching as you scuffed your feet against the footpath. It was a sunny day, and you enjoyed the sun as it kissed your skin with a warmth that hadn’t been felt in a long time, after a long, cold winter.
Your first stop was a small coffee shop, one you often ventured to during exam time, it was usually quiet enough for you to focus on your studies, and keep yourself awake with a good coffee. The barista recognized you, flashing you a bright smile as she keyed in your regular order. You took it to go, not wanting to waste any more of your day.
You looked in a few thrift shops, managing to find a hoodie that suited your style. For the most part, you didn’t have anywhere in mind to go to, you just wandered wherever your feet took you.
Eventually, you were in a part of town you didn’t recognize. It was incredibly picturesque, almost as if someone had taken a typical lock screen from a computer and recreated it in real life.
There was a building at the end of the street that piqued your interest when you saw it. It was a quaint little bookshop, and you couldn’t help but satisfy your own curiosity as you peered in the window, so you went in.
The old door groaned as you pushed it open, the action causing a little bell to ring as you went in. A lady with small spectacles sitting on the bridge of her nose smiled at you as you entered, looking away again to concentrate again on the book that was sitting open on her desk.
You looked around, craning your neck at the shelves that were displayed in front of you. The shop was a lot bigger than it appeared from the outside, as you looked down at what seemed to be endless aisles of shelves. There were books everywhere, little piles stacked up on the ground, on little tables, even doubled up on some of the shelves. A small smile appeared on your face as you noticed the small radio on the woman’s desk, playing some song you had never heard in your life. You decided to venture deeper, looking around at what the many shelves had to offer.
You could almost taste the dust in the air, and by the looks of it, some of the books around you hadn’t been touched in years. You didn’t mind though, you were enjoying reading the blurbs of all the books that caught your eye, so many of them that hadn’t been bestsellers at their time were obviously long forgotten to even exist.
You didn’t remember when, but along your journey through the shop, you had started dancing to the music that was coming out of the radio you saw earlier.
After a while, the sound of the bell rang out through the shop, but you payed no heed to it as you carried on your exploration, bopping up and down and shaking your head to whatever came on the radio next.
Eventually, the song changed to something a little more upbeat, and you started swaying a bit. You couldn’t dance at all, but you were just enjoying yourself. You finally stopped in your tracks when you spun around, your fingers clicking and you were humming along. You froze in your tracks when you saw her.
She was wearing a skirt and a blouse, accompanied by a pair of boots, along with thigh high socks. Her mouth was hidden behind her hand as she laughed at you. Your cheeks burned bright red as you watched her, giggling at you, her chocolate brown hair cascading down her shoulders, her eyes curved up into crescent moons.
“Ah... Hey there.” You said, straightening up and adjusting your glasses. Your cheeks burned even more red as you looked down at your feet, too shy to make any eye contact.
“You suck at dancing, you know that?” She said finally, taking a step towards you. She leaned against the nearest shelf, adjusting the tote bag that was perched upon her shoulder. You didn’t reply, only continuing to look down and try and hide your blush.
“Hey, you don’t have to be so shy. You may suck, but at least you’re cute as hell.” She said a smirk on her face as you finally looked up at her.
You took in all her features properly, your words catching in your throat, your mouth barely opening as you tried your best to string a sentence together. She let out a breathy laugh, shaking her head and walking even closer towards you.
“Uhm... Thanks?... I mean.. You too. Yeah, you too.” You replied, scratching the back of your neck and looking around for a possible escape from how awkward you were being at that minute.
“Can I get your number?” She asked bashfully after a few seconds, holding out her phone for you to enter your number in. You complied, of course, giving her your phone so she could do the same thing.
“You have some good books there, I’m sure you’ll enjoy them.” The girl finally said, nodding her head towards the few novels that were nesting in the crook of your arm as you spoke.
“Do you uh... mind if I ask your name?” You asked her, after you had nodded a quick thanks for her previous comment.
“It’s Yves. And yours is?” She replied, making your heart skip a beat as she pushed a loose strand of her hair behind her ear.
“It’s Y/N.” You said, smiling a little as she grinned at you.
“Well Y/N, I’ll text you soon, I want to take you out on a date. If that is, of course, okay with you.” She said, looking at you with those eyes you kept getting yourself lost in.
“Oh yeah! Of course. No problem.” You said, Yves, laughing at the excitement in your tone.
“Good. I’ll let you get back to your dancing then Y/N. See you soon.” She finally said, still smiling as she turned on her heel, going to buy the book that she had in her hand. You turned around to look back at the shelf, letting out a breath you didn’t know you’d been holding in. You did a little jump for joy, wondering how you got so lucky, before dancing again to the cheesy music from the radio.

List 1 prompt 11 with loona girls please? 🥺
Loona / Holiday Prompts
11. The group is trying to decorate the dorm for Christmas
Admin Kiwi
A/N: I’m so sorry this was so late, it’s so hard to write for 12 people in one prompt so it took me a while to come up with any ideas. I hope you still enjoy it though!
Tumblr media
“Hey Jungeun, are we putting up the tree over here?”
“No, no in the other corner across from the couch.”
“Yeojin, you’re getting glitter everywhere!”
“It’s not my fault, the box was full of glitter when I opened it!”
Haseul looked up from where she was carefully taking the cookies out of the oven just in time to see Yeojin scoop a fist-full of glitter from the box of ornaments and throw it towards Hyunjin. Just in time, Hyunjin ducked, leaving Jungeun behind her to take the ball of glitter right to the face. She sputtered and Yerim dropped her side of the tree to run over, leaving Hyejoo struggling with the trunk, trying not to let the tree fall. A long suffering sigh left Haseul’s lips as she put the cookies down and took off her oven gloves.
“What the- Yeojin!” Jungeun wiped angrily at her face as Yeojin backed away, sensing the rising danger. “What were you thinking?? I have glitter in my mouth!”
“It was supposed to hit Hyunjin! She was being mean!”
Hyunjin blinked innocently. Haseul didn’t buy it for a moment. “Who, me? Mean? I was just telling you not to get glitter everywhere, that’s not mean.”
“You two, I’m gonna-.” Jungeun coughed and glitter came out of her mouth. Haseul winced, and at the same time, Vivi and Sooyoung rounded the corner, arms full of lights and eyes wide.
“What’s going on in here?” Sooyoung asked loudly, surveying the glittery scene in front of her.
“Yeojin threw glitter at Hyunjin but Hyunjin ducked so it hit Jungeun in the face,” Yerim said calmly, handing Jungeun a rag and sending the other girls a smile. In the corner, Hyejoo grunted.
“Hey, a little help over here, this tree is heavy.”
“Give me a second.” Heejin’s voice sounded from behind the couch, and everyone turned. Since when had she been there?
“Uh, what?”
She bounced up with flakes of sparkly garland in her hair and a wreath in hand. “Sorry, I just needed to finish this. I thought the wreath for the door was boring, so I added some garland and decorations. It’s cute, right?”
“Cute,” said Vivi approvingly, placing down her lights as she walked over to help Hyejoo. The younger girl breathed a sigh of relief. Haseul took a deep breath and rubbed her hands over her face as Hyunjin and Yeojin began to bicker again. Somehow, they’d managed to get glitter on the ceiling. At least Yerim was holding Jungeun back.
“Okay,” Haseul said, clapping her hands to make everyone pay attention. Once all the girls were looking her way, she began. “We need some sort of organization in here. Yeojin, please go dump the extra glitter in that box in the trash can. Jungeun had a great idea for the tree, so once she stops coughing up glitter, we’ll have her in charge of the tree. Hyunjin, you, Heejin, Hyejoo, and Sooyoung need to help put up the tree. The tree lights are there on the couch and the ornaments were unpacked by Yeojin. Yerim, please go find a vacuum and get Jungeun some water. Vivi will help me put the snowflake lights up in the kitchen like we wanted to.” She paused, looking around. “Wait, where are Jinsoul, Jiwoo, and Chaewon?”
“They went to the store,” Jungeun said, accepting the glass of water from Yerim. “Something about wanting more decorations.”
Haseul paled at the idea. “Well, then I guess they’ll be in charge of their decorations.”
“Can I put my wreath on the door?” Heejin asked, holding up the reborn wreath. When Haseul nodded her head, she ran off towards the front door, dodging the sulky Yeojin. Hyejoo and Vivi finally got the tree standing upright in the corner and the rest of the girls turned to get to work.
“Huh. There’s glitter when I blow my nose.”
“Now you’re like a fairy!”
“That’s not how fairies work, Yerim.”
Haseul turned back to place her cookies on the cooling rack, listening to the sounds of the girls all around her. Hyunjin was teasing Heejin about something, and there was the signature “crunch” of an ornament being crushed. That corner of the room gasped, and Haseul decided to let Jungeun handle that one as she turned the oven off and wiped her hands on her apron.
“Those look yummy,” Vivi commented, moving to stand beside Haseul with her arms full of snowflake lights. “Can I have one?”
“Sure, but don’t tell Yeojin or she’ll accuse me of having favorites.”
The older girl laughed as she took a cookie and handed Haseul her side of the lights. “I won’t say a thing. Ready to hang some lights?”
When the rest of the girls walked in, Haseul and Vivi were up on the counters hanging the lights, and Jiwoo stopped in her tracks, her grin wide.
“Whoa, that looks dangerous!”
“Don’t say that while smiling,” Jinsoul said, elbowing her with difficulty. Her arms were weighed down by her bags.
“What did you buy?” Haseul asked, carefully climbing down.
“Blankets, some of those weird chocolate Santa things that Jiwoo likes-.”
“They aren’t weird!”
“-a few signs to put around the house, this little mini Christmas tree cookie holder, and Jinsoul insisted on getting this stuffed dog because it sings a song,” Chaewon finished. “Oh, and some Christmas paper plates.”
“Festive,” Haseul commented, raising her eyebrows. “I’ll take the cookie holder, but do you know where you’re going to put the rest of the decorations?”
“We’ll find a place!” Jinsoul hugged the singing dog close and pressed the button on it’s paw, causing it to sing “Let It Snow” in a bellowing voice. “We can use the blankets on our beds! Since it’s Christmas and all.”
Jiwoo pulled out the signs and held them up one by one for everyone to see. They were covered in Christmas puns. “And the signs can go all over the place! They’re so cute!”
At that exact moment, Heejin let out a “huh?” and there was shuffling and whispering between her and Hyunjin until they pulled something out from the tree, eyes wide. “Um,” Heejin said in her low voice. “This is a bird’s nest.”
“What?” Jungeun turned to look at Yerim and Hyejoo, disbelief written all over her features. Yerim had turned white. “Where did you get this tree?”
“The tree place,” Hyejoo said, just as shocked as everyone else. “Do they not check them?”
“Hey, don’t worry,” Hyunjin said, shaking the little nest despite Heejin’s protests. “This is an old nest. No babies or anything. Just some feathers.”
“Cool!” Yeojin skipped over to take a look at the nest, a wide grin on her face. “Can I keep it?”
“It’s probably gross.”
“No, I want it!”
“This can never be easy, can it,” sighed Haseul, shaking her head as the girls ran over to look at the nest. Vivi laughed and hopped off the counter, walking over to stand beside the other girl.
“Nope. But it’s always fun.”
“You’re right.” Haseul smiled fondly, watching as everyone laughed and talked. There was glitter on the ceiling and in Jungeun’s hair and the dog was still singing and there was a bird’s nest in the Christmas tree, but the place was full of happiness. Everyone was together, and that was just how Haseul liked it. “Even if it is crazy, I wouldn’t trade this for the world.”

a month ago i watched every Twice video in order, some of them for the first time, because Twice was finally clicking for me and i was “getting it”. i wrote a little thing about which songs i liked and which i didnt, and i wanna expand on that cause my opinions have gotten more fleshed out over the last couple weeks of listening to them, and also some of them have changed. i just really like reviewing things, i hope that’s okay lol
so here are two or three sentence reviews of every Twice title track, in order
Like Ooh Ahh: i think this is one of their best songs, personally. it’s not as much of the bubblegum stuff they go for after this, but it’s extremely catchy lol, the “i just wanna fall in love!” and the “ha~~ ooh-ahh hage!” gets stuck in my head a lot. i just love the way this song’s instrumental sounds too, the aesthetic of it
Cheer Up: um okay so from hot to cold... this is my least favorite Twice song. i’m listening to it right now as I’m writing this, and I’ll listen all the way through, but i haven’t listened to it all the way through very often. i think the chorus feels out of place, so does the “be a man, real man” thing. i don’t like that. that ruins the song for me lol. i also don’t like the chorus much haha, it sounds like theyre saying “chore up” cause they went with 치얼업 (chi-eol/eor-eop) instead of like... even just “chireop” or “chi-eo eop”... they dont usually have ㄹ for an english r sound at the end of a word...
TT: ah okay nice we’re back on track lol, this song is fantastic and totally deserves to be their most popular song (at least in terms of music video views). when i first heard it i didnt like it cause i didnt like anything Twice lol... then when I listened to every Twice title track in order as i was beginning to “get it”, i liked everything except the “i’m like TT, ahhh, just like TT, ahhh” haha, i thought the fact that it was about the emoticon was weird and didnt fit the video, and the “ahh” was goofy haha. but now? god its so catchy lmao i always whisper-sing along to this part when i listen to this song haha. i love the echo-y reverb-y synths in the verse, and the instrumental in the chorus when paired with the vocal melody just makes it one of the best choruses in kpop lol. i think TT is their best song. the rap break doesnt feel like a rap break, it fits sooooo naturally in with the song, it’s so impressive. this song is so impressive
Knock Knock: initially i liked this song a lot, and i still do, but... this would be another group’s best song, easily, but for Twice... it’s a bit overshadowed haha. the guitar plus the synth is really cool though, its rare to hear a calming, sort of mellow, soft song with as high a BPM as this haha. one of the writers, Mayu Wakisaka, also was a composer for Loona’s Hi High and Fromis 9′s Love Bomb... and you can totally see that lol. all of those songs have high BPMs and are wildly catchy. still, idk, i like this song but i dont have a ton to say about it
Signal: this song is weird in a good way, i love really unconventional instrumentals. it sounds as alien and outer space as the music video haha. at first the “sign-eul bonae signal bonae” kinda annoyed me, but i got more used to it. i don’t listen to this song much, but i should change that, honestly. though another thing is that the music video has a lot those things where it adds sounds from the video that arent in the regular song, and has an intro i gotta skip every time lol, but like thats not a huge problem, i can just listen to the song elsewhere haha
One More Time: this song sounds like something you’d hear at a hockey game lmao. i dont even know really what i mean by that, i dont go to hockey games lol.... anyway. i like this song, but again, it’s kinda overshadowed. if i’m in the mood for the vibe this song has, there are other Twice songs that have it that i like more. it’s refreshing every once in a while though.
Likey: this song is so good!!! it didnt stand out at first, like, there’s not really a huge gimmick like some of the others... “likey likey likey” is kind of the same sort as the “just like TT” and “knock knock knock on my door” and stuff from other songs, but for some reason it feels less prominent in this song. i dont think this is their most iconic song ever, and its not genre-defining or one of the ones you’d mention first when talking about Twice, but it’s just a really solid song. one of my favorites
Heart Shaker: yeah, heart shaker is alright. it was apparently just a couple months after likey, and it feels like a similar concept? maybe it’s just the music video giving me that impression. it’s alright. the music video has the longest part with the distinctive way Twice shoots dance scenes... in that very nauseating way lol... but i don’t mind it lol i’m used to that by now
Candy Pop: so like, was this song sorta made for kids specifically? i guess i’m mostly just being influenced by the music video cause i’m watching it while writing this. i dont like the video much lmao it’s like a pokemon ripoff complete with Officer Jennies and Jin-young Brock. the song’s not bad though, it’s catchy but it’s a little too sugary sweet for me (which makes sense given the concept i guess). i like a lot of ideas in the instrumental though... because it was also written by the people who did Knock Knock, including the writer of Hi High and Love Bomb.
What is Love: this isnt their best song ever, but it’s undeniably one of their most solid. i listen to it a lot haha. the music video has a cool concept, i like when groups do this kind of thing (interpreting scenes from movies or famous music videos or popular culture). i don’t have much to say other than that i like it a lot, it’s one of my favorites i think
Wake Me Up: okay here we go, this is another one of the three Twice singles I just don’t really like. it’s a fine song up until the chorus. i just can’t get over the shift upwards in.. uhh.. scale? octave? pitch? one of those lol, or something else, i dont really know music terms like that very well haha. yeah though i just find it offputting.
Dance the Night Away: it’s alright. i’m pretty neutral on it. i was put off at first but i’ve gotten used to it. though still, i’m not that into it. i get that its a dance focused song and the choreography does look a lot more intense than their other choreos, and thats cool, but that doesnt make me like the music in and of itself. it’s a summer-jam type of song, and i’m not as into those anyway. there’ll never be a better kpop summer-jam than Red Flavor anyway lol
Yes or Yes: this is the other Twice that i don’t like haha. i just think the constant “you only one choice: yes or yes” thing is kind of annoying haha. also the chorus is catchy in a way that i dont think its especially exciting... it’s an earworm because i think it’s slightly annoying, not because it’s satisfying. of the songs that i’ve said i don’t like, this is the one i could see myself getting into the most. this might not always be in my “bottom three”. it is right now though
Fancy: this was the first comeback they had since i’ve been into kpop, and even though i wasnt into Twice at the time, i wanted to try it out just to see if it would change my mind, and it did somewhat.... sorta. it got the ball rolling for sure. it came out on my birthday, the same day as the Loona Fire dance cover haha, that was a good birthday. yeah this song is great, i think it’s better than any of their 2018 comebacks, personally. the concept isn’t all that different from normal Twice, it just appears that way cause the video is so lavish and elegant. it didnt convince me to be a Twice fan on that day it came out, but I liked what I thought made it different from the other Twice songs I’d heard. but now? what I like most about it is how very Twice it really is. the thing is, I wasn’t into Twice probably because the only songs i’d heard were Yes or Yes and Cheer Up, and those songs are still my least favorites lol. Fancy doesnt sound that out of place when you take into account their whole discography! i looove the video and i loooove the chorus so much, this song is great and i wonder if they’ll be able to top it if they have another comeback this year
Breakthrough: okay so in the last one i said i wonder if they’ll be able to top it this year, i meant in terms of Korean comebacks lol. cause in terms of just songs in general, if i include their new Japanese comebacks, they’ve already topped Fancy. this song is the one that finally won me over. this is the song that made me a Twice fan. now, this one is a little outside their typical concept, but they’re really really good at it nevertheless. i wonder if Twice is going a bit more in this direction? at least maybe half the time, alternating between the two styles now? cause Breakthrough continues a bit down the path that Fancy set for them. in any case, i love basically everything about this song, I’m so glad it got me to finally love their music
Happy Happy: so you know how I said that Breakthrough was a change from the bubblegum fun-fun style they’ve had and that move is what got me to finally be into Twice? well that made me think I’d like Happy Happy less haha, but actually I listen to it way more than I listen to Breakthrough, I like it more overall. this is a very Twice-style song, and that’s fine because it’s fantastic. this song genuinely makes me happy
oops didn’t i say i’d try to keep it to two or three sentences?
anyway yeah my favorite Twice songs are TT, Happy Happy, Breakthrough, Likey, and Like Ooh Ahh in that order i think

Twice & LOONA subunit title tracks?
ooookay. i’m really new to twice, and still only about half of their title tracks really resonate with me. that’s better than the last couple months when none of their title tracks clicked with me though haha
so here goes (i’m including japanese ones btw)
breakthrough
happy happy
like ooh ahh (i can see this one falling tbh, i just think its really catchy)
fancy (okay so three of my top four came out in the last couple months lol... but honestly without those songs i dont know if i would have ever been able to get into twice. breakthrough really was my breakthrough lol. because im so new to twice, breakthrough and happy happy are the ones ive listened to the most as well. i heard fancy when it came out but i didnt listen to it again for a while)
what is love
likey
knock knock
tt (this might go higher tbh, i love every part of this song including the chorus EXCEPT for the “just like tt~ uwu~ just like tt~ ahhhh” lol)
signal (another song that would be higher if i didnt find the hook kind of annoying)
one more time
candy pop (i was prepared to rate this as one of the lowest, but i just listened to it without the video and it was a lot better lol. i dont wanna see a ceo’s animesona)
heart shaker
yes or yes
dance the night away
the best thing i ever did (ballads take a long time to grow on me. i have to be in the right mood too, and so far i havent been in that mood when i’ve heard it. it could go up tho, we’ll see. so far uh i havent listened to the whole song without skipping through it lol.... listening to it in between very upbeat dance songs is hard haha. it’ll probably go up if i listen to it after listening to other ballad-ish songs i love)
cheer up (there’s a lot in this song that i just cannot for the life of me get into. the “like a real man” bit is a big turn off)
wake me up (the huge shift up for the chorus just makes me have to stop listening, i’m sorry lol.. i can’t do this song)
so, the ones in bold are the ones i love, the ones in plain text i’m into but not as much as the bold ones, and then the italicized ones are ones that i’m not a fan of. maybe that’ll change, it probably will, but that’s where i’m at right now. ranking the plain text ones, the middle ones, was really hard cause i dont have fully formed opinions on those ones haha.
you know, can i just take a moment.... you wanna know why i couldnt get into twice the whole time ive been into kpop until recently? because the only twice songs i heard were cheer up, yes or yes, tt, and what is love. cheer up and yes or yes ruined tt and what is love for me, and i nitpicked too much with tt’s “just like tt” part as if that made the whole song bad, which it doesnt. that part is definitely gonna grow on me the more i hear it too, its just one of those things you get used to with kpop. lots of songs have “annoying” parts, usually an english phrase that sounds kinda weird, that then just become pretty normal haha. i like what is love a lot now tho, nothing about that song annoys me haha. it was sorta just the association with the songs that definitely didnt work for me that brought that song down in my head.
if i had heard likey, signal, and like ooh ahh earlier then i probably would have been into them earlier haha. i heard fancy when it came out and that i think i was just expecting not to like it, so i didn’t. well, idk, you can go back and find my posts from when it came out, i thought it was okay, but i wasn’t feeling strongly about it. breakthrough really was my breakthrough haha. and once i was enjoying breakthrough, i found myself enjoying happy happy, and fancy, and what is love, and lots of the rest of their songs haha.
um okay and here’s the loona subunit singles, that’s a lot easier and i’ve already thought about that before. and just for fun i’m gonna include the full group singles. this is my list:
hi high, butterfly, sonatine, love4eva, girl front, favorite, love&live, sweet crazy love. and like... i like all of those songs each more than every single twice song haha... sorry, idk, loona’s my main group
