Getting to spend time with Amerie was something that Jason did not take for granted. It was not so often the two were getting to spend time with one another. He was just grateful that she did not hate him for giving her the wrong number when his mind was pretty much elsewhere during their hiking trip they met on. Thankful, that she still wanted to see him. Jason had waited outside for her, greeting her with a quick hug before leading them to the hostess podium inside the brunch restaurant. Once they were seated, he found himself smiling at him, still. "I'm glad we could get together, again," he always said that when he saw her. "Not sick of me yet," he joked with the woman.

There was nothing better than a sweet treat. Her work had kept her out of the office this week, so she was constantly stopping to grab a bite to eat, coffee and other snacks. Today, she found herself at Seaside Sweets to get a few treats to work on going through her interview. Logan opened up the door and moved towards the short line. It didn't take her long to realize who else was there. Amerie. Her talk with her brother had left her shocked and well, she didn't think she should bring it up to Amerie, but she knew that she couldn't say nothing at all. "Hey, Amerie," she smiled, lifting her hand in a small wave, "getting anything good?"

Mateo was a hungry man. He was not someone that would miss out on food and when he spotted the food trucks, he found himself in line once more. He'd been there the day before, but this time he was at a different truck. As he came to stand in line, he took one step too far and bumped into someone in front of him, "Shit, sorry," he quickly took a step back, "You alright?" He rubbed the back of his neck, as he looked the woman over. He knew he didn't hit her that hard when he stepped but she was significantly shorter than him. As he gave her a once over, he realized, "Shit, I'm real sorry."

Hannah and the rest of the members that joined for the evening had just finished up another round of games. "I have to give it to you," Hannah laughed as she put the pieces back in the box for the battleship game. "The game may seem simple but you really seemed to have a strategy while playing." That or the woman was that good at guessing and Hannah was terrible at placing where her battleships went. "Or am I really just that bad?" Hannah let out another laugh, "Actually, I'm not sure if I'm ready to have my ego crushed." The blonde woman teased the other.

With his daughter dropped off at summer camp, Emre had opted to come down to the beach until Beyza was off of work. Finding a spot away from the growing crowd, Emre laid out a towel to sit on and set the cooler that he brought down. He was unzipping it when a shadow moving over him caught his attention and he looked up to see what - or rather, who it was. "Amerie," he immediately recognized the woman, "if you're looking for a spot to sit, feel free," he gestured to some of the empty space around him, "I just didn't want to immerse myself in all of the crowd right away."

Moving to Kismet Harbor only a few weeks ago, this was the first time that Jason really felt like he was getting out and about. There was not much that he had been around to see yet, as Michael often reminded him. So, with a day off work and no plans, Jason took it upon himself to get out and about in Kismet Harbor. The misty weather was not something he minded, merely opting for a light rain jacket until he found cover under the arts and craft tent that was out downtown. He didn't need to buy anything, but he figured it was worth checking out. Jason was looking over a hand crafted wallet, that he placed back and turned to step back out into the flow of traffic. It was then that he almost ran someone over, "Oh, I am so sorry," he was quick to apologize, holding his hands up in a mock surrender before he realized who it was. "Wait, Amerie?" He couldn't believe his eyes, causing him to shake his head. Was it really her?
