Summary of Guild Wars 2
Guild Wars 2 is a popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by ArenaNet. Released in 2012, it is the sequel to the original Guild Wars game. Here's a summary of Guild Wars 2:
Dynamic World: Guild Wars 2 features a dynamic, persistent world where events and player actions have a lasting impact on the game environment. The game does away with the traditional quest system, opting for a more organic and dynamic event system.
Player Races and Professions: Players can choose from a variety of races, including humans, charr, asura, norn, and sylvari. Each race has its own unique storyline. Additionally, there are different professions (classes) such as warrior, ranger, thief, and elementalist, each with its own distinct playstyle and abilities.
Personal Story: The game includes a personal story for each character, shaped by the choices players make during character creation and throughout the game. This adds a level of personalization to the overall narrative.
Combat System: Guild Wars 2 features an action-oriented combat system that emphasizes movement and skill timing. Players have a limited skill bar, and many abilities are tied to specific weapons, promoting strategic gameplay.
World vs. World vs. World (WvW): WvW is a large-scale PvP mode where three different servers compete against each other in a massive, persistent battleground. Players can engage in siege warfare, capture objectives, and participate in epic battles.
Structured PvP: ArenaNet introduced a separate structured PvP system, allowing players to engage in competitive matches with balanced characters and gear. This mode is more focused on skill and strategy.
Living World: Guild Wars 2 has a living world system, where the game's narrative evolves over time through regular updates and seasons. These updates introduce new storylines, events, and content, keeping the game world dynamic and engaging.
Expansion Packs: The game has received several expansion packs, such as Heart of Thorns, Path of Fire, End of Dragons and Secrets of the Obscure, which introduce new regions, professions, and storylines. These expansions expand the game world and provide additional content for players.
Community and Social Features: Guild Wars 2 encourages social interaction with features like dynamic events that promote cooperation among players. The game also includes guilds, which can claim and upgrade guild halls.
No Subscription Fee: Unlike many other MMORPGs, Guild Wars 2 follows a "buy-to-play" model, meaning players purchase the game once and can play it without a subscription fee. The game does offer in-game purchases for cosmetic items and convenience, but these are optional.
Guild Wars 2 is known for its innovative approach to storytelling, dynamic events, and engaging world design, making it a popular choice among MMORPG enthusiasts.

being real, that "I won't miss" has absolutely fucking haunted me, it's so hot.
before I was mostly neutral on Rusty, in a sort of 'well he's neat and friendly, but you've gotta show me a little more leg than that, armored core'.
but the 2v2 into ice worm fight? fucking sold, oh my god. I'm a believer.

really love how the speech bubbles and camera angles seem to purposefully keep her head obscured while she's mad but not quite telling the truth about why

Thanks for the info! It is easily my favorite of her outfits (I am biased about cravats, not for symbolism reasons though there are some) so I was hoping it showed up elsewhere.
I haven't really played bullet hell games much at all aside from managing to drag myself through a neutral ending run of Undertale, but this might be as good a reason as any to try a touhou game out finally.
Does Yukari's dress shirt and cravat outfit from [Symposium of Post-mysticism: Skeletal Remains Found from the Dry Well] appear anywhere else?
From a cursory look at the wiki I don't see it in any of her game appearances, but it was a really neat look for her so I was curious if you knew.
It doesn't appear to do so. Though she does have a bunch of weird outfits she only wears in certain places! Unfortunately, some of these places are specifically game endings. If you want to see them, you'll have to beat IN with Barrier Team and UDoALG with Ran... The Barrier Team one is the closest to her dress shirt and cravat outfit, though. (Actually, it's closer to Merry's outfits... Shh.)
Luckily, beating Imperishable Night with Barrier Team on Easy with lives set to max should be achievable for most anyone with a few dozen hours of practice without physical coordination issues. If you do have physical coordination issues, most of the ending images are on thpatch due to necessity, but I'm not posting them here.

I do think the most fun in arknights is realizing that a random weird 5 star you raised because they had a really cool outfit happens to have a particular unintuitive skill that lets you completely cheese the fuck out of a boss that has survived several waves of busted meta 6 stars.

anyways after getting bullied by wolf knights relentlessly on every difficulty, using merrin feels awesome.
Her using Swords isn't especially ideal since I want to avoid what happened on my first run where I went into the endgame with nothing but sword users....
...but also there ARE a lot of axe users AND I have like two(2) invested axes. And also in engage, enemy axe users can and will oneshot you. So making her a lance user isn't super ideal.
I'll probably leave her as is and examine my roster as I go along. Once I grab Hortensia, I'll have basically everyone I plan to take into the endgame (with spares) except for the one person.
the endgame unit cap is 14 so I'll be free to bring Alear, Chloe, Louis, Yunaka, Alcryst, lapis, ivy, Merrin, miss spoiler, and Hortensia as the core party...
...with Citrinne, Zelkov, Pandreo, Fogado, seadall, and Goldmary as the ones being considered.
Celine tragically fell off and Diamant was preemptively benched.

the only two times in ff14 (that I know of) that the wol uses the /sneer expression is when Zenos possesses you right before he tries to kill all your friends, and then when you pick the "That I can't deny." option. Thus truly accepting him and having lots of--
