wada sez: Chop Shop was characterised as a scavenger and kleptomaniac in his original Tech Specs. Many of the items on Chop Shop’s shelves are a little hard to make out, but they include ships from various sci-fi franchises, possibly a red Seeker of some kind, a Soundwave, a photo of Megatron, an Xbox, and a Grendizer way down in the bottom-left. A “samoflange” is a component of the ThunderTank from ThunderCats, which gained infamy online after a blooper track from the show made it online wherein Lion-O exclaims, “What the fuck is a samoflange?” There was a minor lettering touch-up to this one after its publication; you can see the original version, which has a few little errors, below.

I feel the need to make a correction. Samophlange was a ‘nonsense part’ needed during the building of the Thundertank during the second episode of the OG series (1985).

Contrary to the previous asker, it was indeed mention during that episode. I mainly remember this because, upon mentioning, I had no idea what it was, but I knew I wanted one and wanted to take it apart.

Um.. this is supposed to be an ask….

It's known from several places. Apparently it's also a run on joke in World of Warcraft too, but I think most people know it best from when the audio outtakes from when Thundercats were leaked online.

And my wrist is doing good thanks ^^ I haven't really drawn anything since I got back from holiday vacation. Currently at work bored out of my mind. It's surprisingly not very busy for a Friday.

I was on vacation last week, but now I'm back and it's time for episode 5: Old Friends!

When we last left off, the Thundercats had been saved from certain doom by the timely arrival of the supposedly-dead Panthro in his Thundertank!

Cheetara I get, she probably hadn't met Panthro before he and Grune were sent off, but I'm not sure why Lion-O would expect him to be smaller. If anything, he should remember Panthro being huge.

Pictured: Tygra doing exactly the same thing as Wilykat did last episode with the froog. It's not always deep seated issues, sometimes it's just regular sibling stuff.

ThunderCats are on the mov(i)e! After years of false starts and announcements that didn’t go anywhere, it seems that the beloved ‘80s cartoon has a giant sized champion behind it.
