What is your favorite part of each of your OTPs relationships?

Oh gosh wow, nice follow-up question! I’m internally screeching because I get to think about what I love about my precious ships aaaa

- Sora/Kairi (Kingdom Hearts)They’re each others light - her heart literally hid within his for like the whole of the first game, and when he found out the only way to release it was to stab himself with a keyblade he just went and did it. Their sort of ‘they’re meant to be together, but circumstances just keep them apart’ destroys me in all the best ways. I just want my babies to be happy toget h e r

- Yuna/Tidus (Final Fantasy X)They fall in love so slowly and so genuinely that by the end of the game I was literally weeping because they both fall hard. Their chemistry was beautiful, because it happened over the course of the whole narrative, really building up how much Yuna wants to be with him, only making it more heartbreaking when they have to be split apart. And that k i s s 

- Kaneki/Touka (Tokyo Ghoul)Cold, badass falls in love with local depressed-nerd-turned-ghoul. While I don’t root for these two as much as I might if their interactions were a bit better written, I still love the idea that because he cared for her it opened up her heart and made her able to love again.

- Venom/Eddie (Venom movie)I love them so. much. Eddie is literally made up of sunshine but he is a walking disaster and his life is like a dumpster fire. Venom, a self-proclaimed loser, falls in love with him after like one(1) day,,, and decides he can’t let his race destroy the earth because Eddie lives there. While Venom actually ends up improving Eddie’s quality of life so he can Function Like A Regular Person. Their chemistry and banter is 10/10

- Madoka/Mami (Madoka Magica)Two sweet summer children together - it’s so cute. Madomami is the ship of tooth rotting fluff that just makes me smile whenever I see art or read fics of them together. They’re both supportive and kind and, ok, not a real reason, but their colour palette aesthetic is so pretty too - yellow and pink, sign me up.

- Kyo/Tohru (Fruits Basket)Grumpy cat and actual angel fall in love, the series. My childhood otp. I loved the way that her feelings for him brought him out of his shell and his feelings for her made him more gentle. Like falling in love with her melted him slowly. Pure. Wholesome.

- Soul/Maka (Soul Eater)They’re both badasses but neither of them are good with Feelings, and they’re emotionally constipated. Like, you know that they’ve got great chemistry and they’re perfect for each other, but they just dance around their feelings constantly like the oblivious losers they are. 

- Steve/Claire (Resident Evil)Steve is a massive dork, and is probably way out of Claire’s league, but boy is he gonna try and win her over anyway. Bad news is that he Doesn’t Know How To Flirt and ends up insulting her, whining at her and being a Nuisance like a 5 year old. Until it counts and he sacrifices himself for her - I cried like a baby.

- Cloud/Aerith (Final Fantasy VII)Another stoic badass falls in love with sunshine. (I like alot of those kinds of ships?) I wish they’d had more time to develop their relationship in canon, but when she had to go I still felt it through my heart for poor Cloud. Like, they could have been beautiful together.

- Ling/Lan Fan/Greed (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood)An OT3? An OT3. I love every combination of these 3. Ling’s the No Impulse Control, Greed is the No Impulse Control (But Illegal) and Lan Fan is the only one to try and keep them both in line. Beautiful.

- Natsu/Lucy (Fairytale)They. should. have. got. together. it’s. so. practically. canon.
