Almost a month after Good Morning America anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach made headlines for getting cozy throughout New York City, Holmes has filed for divorce from his wife, Marilee Fiebig.

According to reports from US Weekly, Holmes, 45, filed for divorce from his wife in New York City Wednesday, Dec. 28. Just two days earlier, he was spotted at the Atlanta International Airport with Robach, getting ready to jet off for the holidays with his arm around his girlfriend in photos obtained by Daily Mail.

Robach and Holmes’s relationship was first revealed last month, after Daily Mail posted photos of the Good Morning America hosts getting awfully close to one another outside of work. Both TV personalities have been married to other people since 2010, but Yahooreports Robach and Holmes had both separated from their respective spouses–actor Andrew Shue and attorney Marilee Fiebig–over the summer.

Now, Holmes’ divorce from Fiebig is officially moving forward.

Just one day after their supposed affair made headlines, Holmes and Robach went on to host GMA3 together. While neither of them addressed the brewing scandal, directly, they both made jokes about how tough of a week it had been–only to get pulled off the air the following week.

ABC News President Kim Godwin told employees Dec. 5 during an editorial call that while Holmes and Robach’s consensual relationship “is not a violation of company policy,” the network had to work through what’s best for the company. ABC launched an internal review and, for now, Holmes and Robach remain sidelined.

T.J. Holmes got a divorce from his first wife, Amy Ferson, in 2007, with whom he shares daughter a Brianna, 28, and son Jaiden. Holmes married Fiebig in 2010, welcoming daughter Sabine in January 2013.

Guwahati: More than 38 people have been hospitalized after consuming Prasad at Chabua in Dibrugarh district of Assam on Sunday.

More than 100 of them in Dongda Chuuk at Chabua allegedly fell ill after consumption of the Prasad. Some have been admitted at the Chabua Model Hospital.

The patients complained about abdominal pain, vomiting and upset stomach after eating the Prasad during a puja ritual at one person’s home.

While this news current cycle is particularly unhinged, there is one story in particular that has captured people’s attention and today we got news of another completely unexpected plot twist.

You have likely heard about the four Black folks from South Carolina who were kidnapped by the cartel in Mexico after driving across the border from Texas. According to CNN, Latavia Washington McGee, Eric Williams, Shaeed Woodard, and Zindell Brown drove cross-country to go south of the border to at city called Matamoros so that McGee could get a medical procedure done cheaply. She never made that appointment. On Friday, March 3, the group was shot at by gunmen who subsequently surrounded them and took them away.

The United States government believes that the group was mistaken for Haitian drug runners. Woodard and Brown were found dead, McGee and Williams were found alive but Williams was shot twice in one leg and once in the other. None of the four has any criminal history whatsoever.

Here’s where the plot twist comes into play.

According to a VICE report, the Scorpions group, a subsidiary of the notorious Gulf Cartel that has commandeered control of northeast Mexico for decades, has come forward (kinda) to claim responsibility for the attack and…apologize. This morning, an apologetic letter was found alongside 5 men who were severely beaten and tied up face down in the back of a pickup truck under a narco flag.

We cannot make this s**t up. What the actual f**k?! What makes this whole situation even more unbelievable is that an outlet called All Source News which documents the violence in Mexico tweeted out a video from March 3 that appears to show the kidnapping in real-time.

The two survivors have been transported back to the United States where they are receiving care. Sorry, amigo, but a lil’ “lo siento” and some beat up bad guys ain’t gonna cut it. There need to be some culos in cells and orange jumpsuits.

Large quantity of illegal IMFL seized in Guwahati

Guwahati: Acting on a tip-off, Gorchuk police on Friday night conducted a search operation at Pooja Parking at Betkuchi in Guwahati and recovered 20 cartons of Kingfisher Beer.

In a similar case, Basistha police on Friday seized 90 bottles of IMFL from Raju Dhaba, located on the National Highway. Interestingly, the bottles were kept hidden in a car behind the dhaba.

Silchar’s 8-year-old allegedly raped; accused on the run

GUWAHATI: In a horrific incident, a disgusting rape took place in Silchar, Assam where an eight-year-old was allegedly raped by her own uncle’s son. The incident took place in the city’s neighborhood named Malugram area. It is worth mentioning that the incident occurred on April 20 but since the family members of the victim underwent fear and mental harassment that led them not to register a case in the police station. However, the victim’s physical health was deteriorating day by day and hence she was admitted to a private hospital in Silchar.
