kiwami-era Mine's color palette pulls from Daigo's color palette. also i put him under k2 for my own sanity even though iirc the model's in k1

He also lacks his natural red highlights during that period & that is a deliberate choice on my part. Which I guess implies he's...dying his hair lmfao

In a similar vein to the kiwami Mine thing, Daigo's DS dress pulls from Mine's color palette!

post-y3 Daigo is doing. Bad. bringing back the blush from his k2 alcoholism days + using the darker shadow color for his eyes + no highlights. It takes until about y7 for him to somewhat recover ghdjsghdks

Legally required to scrinkle Ryuji for DS. guess losing an arm did a number on the poor guy HJKHJKEWT

Also as a fun note, the only characters here with actual normal ass circular pupils are Nishiki and Daigo. love it when ppl are vaguely creaturey.

oh yeah spongebobs been kind of inconsistent about how long exactly karen’s been around - and who, exactly, made her - with friend or foe suggesting she’s been around since the late 60s but other episodes suggesting she’s younger than that, and IRL the personal computer industry truly beginning in 1977

BUT with kamp koral characterizing her as a teenager that i will only generously consider about 18 years old in contrast to plankton and krabs in their 20s i’m considering her birthday like 1983 specifically based on apple’s lisa (though karen does look more like ibm’s 1981-1982 personal computer, the computer with a human woman name thing was too fun of a coincidence)

TJIS IS SO COOL WHAT!!!!!

i’ve tried creating a cleaner and more up to date timeline chart depicting major events in the spongebob squarepants timeline, and where i believe the most significant splits might occur.

TIMELINE A - the original timeline as seen in the original 3 seasons, sandy meets spongebob when they’re both adults.

TIMELINE B - the new timeline as seen in sponge on the run and kamp koral, sandy of timeline A coerces her past self to meet spongebob while they’re still children and creates timeline B.

TIMELINE C? - the bikini bottom 2 timeline seen in the spongebob comics; sandy becomes a power-hungry super villain while spongebob and patrick become super heroes.

TIMELINE D? - a potential additional timeline that the spongebob musical exists in.

TIMELINE E? - the man ray timeline seen in back to the past, created by mermaid man and barnacle boy failing to defeat him somewhere in the 60s.

any given episode could theoretically take place in timelines A, B, or D and in any year following 2015. however, only one episode is known to take place in timeline E. no episodes take place in timeline C.

(disclaimer: while karen, sandy, and patrick’s birthdays are canonical and sourced, their birth years are purely my headcanon)
