Hey you guys! Just to let you know about what’s ahead for 2023. My activity might be spotty. There’s a lot of physical transitions I’m going through.

I have no knowledge about what’s to come going forward with Alopex’s character and all other topics related to her.

I will definitely keep you all in the loop if anything changes, but feel free to ask me anything or in particular Al anything.

I had a break from college this week, so I took advantage of the free time like a responsible adult... And I dedicated myself to digitize my ROTTMNT character drawings.

Since there are a lot of them, I'm going to start in the order of age of the boys.

Alopex

Pex is an Artic Kumiho Yokai.

She is a hit woman, who's Kamas are said to be cursed. Rumor has it that if they so much as scratch you, even if she doesn't get to kill you, death will come for you either way.

She is petite and keeps her nine tails united, forming a kind of big fluffy tail. Her make-up is done that way to honor her Kumiho ancestors.

She got paid to kill Lou Jitsu by the remaments of the Foot Clan, who told her that she could find him if she followed four mutant turtles.

She found them easily and started to spy on them, to decide when was the best time to strike, but the more she knew about them, the more fond she got of the silly boys, specially the big red one.

Eventually, Alopex resigned the job and decided to approach the turtles to warn them about the Foot situation.

Of course, most of the gang didn't exactly received her with open arms, considering the whole "paid to kill dad" situation, but she gained their trust rapidly with her easy demeanor, the fact that she decided to resign said job and that she told them.

She and Raph got along quiet well really fast. It became a normal thing for them to go on outings almost every night, go to Teddy Bear Town to get a bunch of plushies, sharing all kind of snacks while marathoning Jupiter Jim and Lou Jitsu. In fewer words, they were absolutely dating.

But since Alopex was a Kumiho, she could not stop chasing other men to eat their essence nor resist the impulse to cause mischief, chaos and destruction, which made Raph really uncomfortable, due to his high morals.

Seeing how Raph was so conflicted with their relationship, because of her evil nature, and her being unable to go against it, Alopex decided to break up with Raph, to release him from the guilt, and return home.

She did came back one time, two years later, to see her beloved one last time, but at that moment Raph was already in a new relationship with...

Mona Lisa

Mona is an African Fire Salamander Alien-Yokai hybrid.

She is a bounty hunter that works to recover lost, stolen and commissioned objects.

She loves pink, and wears her hijab with a big flower in the front all the time (The ascot on her neck is actually a gift from Raph).

She never steals, never, unless she is stealing to return to their original owner. Her morale levels are sky high, so she is incapable of stealing without getting literally sick.

Her best client is Señor Hueso, who commissions to get exotic ingredients and to return the things his brother stole.

She met the gang when they were at Run of the Mill Pizza, being "served" by Señor Hueso, as she was returning with the last commission he gave her.

Raph fell in love with her hugeness the moment their eyes met. She was gigantic, strong, and more importantly, kind as hell.

Mona liked Raph almost instantly too. He was very big, but looked like a kitty. And even thought he was taller that his brothers, he was smaller that her, and she found that adorable.

Mona calls the gang "Little Spots", each one with the color of their bandanas (Raph is Little Red Spot, Leo is Little Blue Spot, etc...).

Due to Mona's life style, she and Raph can't spend much time together, so most of their dates are at Run of the Mill Pizza, when she goes to the Hidden City to deliver things. Señor Hueso always gives them free pizza on those occasions.

One time, when they were on date, walking around the Hidden City, she saw a curious white Kumiho who was looking at them weird, but a second later she vanished. She was sure she had never met any white Kumiho in her many travels before.

Maybe Raph knew her...

What about Leo?

Every other turtle has one or multiple love interests. Let me say that again.

Some have multiple love interests

Donnie has April. While this is a bit of a love triangle with Casey, and they never really defined whether April likes him or not, she's definitely his love interest

Moving on to Raph, my guy has Mona Lisa, obviously. They're the OTP of the 2012 fandom, the diamonds of the season, to put it that way. Mona and Raph are very much in love whenever they see each other.

Then there's Mikey. He is the ladies man of 2012. First he has Renet, who he falls in love with right after he claims he'd never fall in love with a girl. (Uhuh, sure buddy)

And then he also has Shinigami, who he definitely made heart eyes at, the first time he saw her.

So all of them have reasonably successful love lives, and interesting love interest that are worth considering. What does Leo have?

His sister

Karai and Leo could've been good, but now that they made them siblings? Nah.

They could've been good, had they made clear they're not biologically related

They could've been good, had the turtles not called her sister

They could've been good, had they clarified ANYTHING.

There is no single plot line, it's like two plot lines running through eachother. Either Karai is Splinters daughter and she's their sister, or Karai is Shredders daughter and Leo's love interest. Sometimes it can't be both.

Leo definitely deserved a better love interest. The hero/villain trope is cute, the brother/sister trope not so much.

I say Leo is for the fandom. Someone give him a good love interest.
