What is your book about?

radio apocalypse is about two girls at the end of the world that find each other through a radio broadcast after years of thinking they're each the last person alive :) it's got horror elements but is sci-fi/romance.

the midland throne (my wip) is sort of like Not-Quite-Fantasy-The-Bachelorette, except almost all the contestants (and arguably the hostess) are terrible people, and then: murder!

i have, like, "official" synopses that i can also share but these ^^ are usually how i describe the works to people who inquire after them :) thanks for the ask!

What was your best new find of this year when it comes to an artist?

That's a very good question. I'm trying to remember if I discovered Down And Out and Rematch early this year or late last year; I think they're certainly contenders. Gold Steps too, I knew of them beforehand but only really started listening to them this year. In that vein, Shinedown are also a contender since I only really got into them this year. OH, and In Her Own Words! I definitely only heard of them this year, but really loved the album that they put out

So I guess those are the nominees 😅 I'll have to give it a bit of thought before picking THE best new find I think, but all those guys have got good stuff
