regarding the sagau post, i was wondering what route that could go on because being unable to change parts of the story would make them want to rip their hair out.

imagine: dreading going to inazuma after finishing your talk with zhongli, and generally everything that goes down there. wanting, praying, begging to whoever sent you here that at least something changes and it isn't an entire drag to go through.

getting to sumeru and hoping that you can somehow free nahida faster and not letting her rot inside the sanctuary of surasthana for any longer than a second (i personally imagine reader wanting to smack the hell out of alhaitham bc i wanted to while playing sumeru DFABWEGSD)

these are just a couple thoughts i had though!! just some thoughts

OH YEAH OKAY,, YEAH DEFINITELY!! Reader would definitely want to rip out their hair from the frustration because it is SO EASY to not mess up... from a player's perspective.

This is SO orv-esque.

But I'm sure with Reader as an additional character (that has not been determined by the game itself), there are some parts of the game that is changeable. Like maybe fights, wars.. the outcomes would be different with an extra person.

Zhongli still fakes his death, and the Traveler still has to defeat Childe. You still fight the war between the Resistance and the Shogun Army, but maybe Teppei doesn't have to die. Because you knew about the Delusions before he did. You hastily grabbed it from his person with such a scowl and threw it into the blue — watching it sink into the depths as Teppei cried out.

The samsara still happens in Sumeru, but you know how to break free from the first time. You couldn't say the same for the Traveler, even though they're the main character and they're equally as smart — perks of being a player. They asked you how you knew this was a repeat, even though they did not go through multiple cycles just yet, but you find yourself at a standstill.

Oh boy. Well, you and FREMINET are going to get along as friends. Well, sort of.

FREMINET is basically a socially anxious guy. He's a bit nervous around people, but bless his heart, he's really trying. He's also lonely without his siblings, so the two of you will surely get along on your first meeting with him. Sure, he struggles a lot on speaking, but it seems you two can manage that part enough to be fast friends... And close ones, too.

FREMINET actually likes listening to music. To him, music conveys things that he couldn't put to words. That, and his Father often enjoys playing some for everyone at the House of the Hearth. If you start rambling about music and everything in between, you are guaranteed to catch his attention and make him listen for 6 hours on why certain parts work and why it sounds better when harmonized.

In return, FREMINET is able to help you deal with that sort of availability. He understands the feeling as he himself endures it a lot years ago, and he's there to be that comfort that you can't provide. Coincidentally, FREMINET is good at his memory, so he can always remind you of things you forgot.

As an added bonus, you two are bound to have small trips to water-related places. He's a good swimmer due to his job as a diver, so he'll opt to teach you the basics. It wouldn't be long till you two are diving and having the time of your life in the sea, and you get to see the sparkle in FREMINET's eyes when you find something you think he'd like.

(He made sure to get another that's close to it to make it as charms for you two. You're his closest friend, after all.)

All in all, he's the best (platonic) boyfriend you can ask for! Save for Aether, of course. Relationship... Can wait, but if you are fine with having a socially awkward yet fun friend (when you two get closer), he's your go-to guy.

personally i like to think hes just as awful

when kuni— well, scara— comes back, he becomes much more awful. you don't know it was possible, but he managed to do it. it's not like he's bashing your head against any solid platform whenever he feels like it, but his words are crueler and more personal. like he's blaming you for something. belittling you for every single thing and making sure to rub it in your face that he's far more superior in every possible way.

it doesn't help that he blushes too much whenever he's being mean to you.

your other suitors tell you to not go near him again, and you've caught wind of people confronting scara. nevertheless, he's still relentless in his attacks towards you.

you don't mind, though. you're not a masochist (at least, you think so), but you think it's scara's cute when he hisses at you like a feral kitty.

you think about how cuter he would be if you pulled him around on a leash.
