I was already thinking my suspicions about my brain were a bit more confirmed the past few days due to getting irrationally overly frustrated with a combination of "black and white thinking" "a strong sense of justice" and no one understanding what i was actually trying to communicate.
Then the "all your friends only tolerate you at besr, notice how whenever youre the one trying to make plans they never happen?" mean brain thoughts started up after work which only reminded me of plans i was trying to make (with an entirely separate group than the thoughts were mainly about.) Started that conversation again and. Wow what do you know the plans evaporated.
Ive been emotional in so many different ways before, like lowkey panicking or being anxious for various reasons, or like what may count as RSD (i usually just call it the mean part of my brain.) But this felt different. Sometimes emotions make me quieter or less talkative of course but ive never in my life experienced being nonverbal or anything. Idk if this was that but its the only way i can describe it. I was alone in my room, i wasnt trying to talk out loud, but it felt like i couldnt even really type words. Like i was basically limited to emojis, maybe gifs. (That dumb post about sodo with the emojis last night? That was then, i was looking for emojis and found the 🤏 which reminded me of him mocking rain lol.) So maybe theres a different word than just a general minor emotional breakdown for whatever last night was. Meltdown? Shutdown? Idk.
I'm ok now, probably need a break from certain topics, but wanted to get my thoughts about my weird brain out.

2 Chronicles 6:12-8:10, Romans 7:14-8:8, Psalm 18:1-15, Proverbs 19:24-25
Today is the 22nd day of July, welcome to the Daily Audio Bible, I’m Brian, it's great to be here with you today. Wonderful to come around the Global Campfire and take the next step forward together in our week, in our month and in our year. This week we've been reading from the New Living Translation which is certainly what we plan to continue to do for the rest of the week. We have begun the book of 2 Chronicles this week and so that's where we find ourselves 2 Chronicles chapter 6 verse 12 through 8 verse 10 today.
Commentary:
Okay, so as we continue our journey through the letter to the Romans, we see Paul being really vulnerable and deeply confessional about his own life by telling us he does the things he doesn't want to do and the things that he wants to do he doesn't do, that he’s in a battle. So, lets zoom out just a little bit and understand that this is part of an ongoing conversation about the law and sin and how the law reveals sin. But if the law wasn't there, then how could you sin, you wouldn't know you did anything wrong. It's the law than that reveals you have transgressed. And, now Paul’s kind of talking about this dichotomy of when you die with Christ and are raised up, the law that had claimed, the law of sin that had claimed to you, no longer has any claim to you. There's this dichotomy that we still choose to do what we know is not right. So, the question is, is the law bad then because if it didn't exist then we would never be able to do anything wrong. We can do whatever we wanted, and if we have died to the law and are resurrected in Christ and the law of sin has no more control or claim to us than we can do whatever we want because we’re free in Christ. This is the type of argument or the type of conversation that Paul is systematically leading us through. So, as we begin our reading today, he says so, the trouble is not with the law, for it is spiritual and good, right. The law itself isn't the problem. It's there to show you not to transgress against it, because if you do, you step into spiritual sin. Same things apply in laws of our lands. Right, I mean, if you're in like a subdivision and there's a speed limit of 20 mph and you decide you, you're not…you're going to not obey…obey that law, you’re going a hundred. Then you are going to be jeopardizing people and you could kill someone so, you can break that law and maybe get away with it, but eventually that law is going to get you because it's there to protect people, to protect things. So, Paul’s like the law isn't the problem. The law isn't the bad thing. It's transgressing, it's choosing to break it which is what leads us to Paul's confessional language and some now I quote…I quote this because Paul's saying it from thousands of years ago, but I believe it pretty much nails every single one of us. Paul says “the trouble is with me, for I am all too human, a slave to sin. I don't really understand myself for I want to do what is right, but I don't do it. Instead, I do what I hate. But if I know that what I'm doing is wrong, this shows that I agree that the law is good, so I am not the one doing wrong. It is sin living in me that does it.” So, what Paul is saying here is, if I do what I know is wrong then I am affirming the law because if it wasn't there, what I'm doing, that I know is wrong wouldn't be wrong because there'd be nothing to disobey. But then Paul acknowledges what a challenge this is and he almost kind of gives sin a personality or personifies in some sort of way like it's an entity of some kind, as opposed to a concept of some kind. He’s like, if I do what I don't want to do, I'm not really the one doing wrong. It's sin living in me that does it. And let’s continue, I have discovered this principle of life, that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God's law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind this power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. What a miserable person I am. Okay, so that's very confessional and very vulnerable and very much, pretty much I believe all of our story. This is what we’re experiencing. But, how can we be free from the claims of sin and the power of sin still resides within us? Well, that's because we have a choice. In some ways it's almost as if we have been made free and we have been given permission to live free. A claim of sin no longer has a hold over us and the primary implication of that is we are not separated from God. We can have an intimate, ongoing, always on, never off relationship with God directly. Not to sacrifice animals or any of the rituals, we are restored to God through Christ Jesus. In the Garden of Eden before Adam and Eve partook of the forbidden fruits, they were in right standing with God. Everything was as it was supposed to be and even in that state, they had a choice and they made the choice. So, even in that freedom from sin state that we have in Christ Jesus. We still have choice. Sin is kind of like a squatter. Sin has no right to be here. We don't have a contract with sin that allows it to have certain access to our hearts at certain times of the day, and it pays rent. We already understand that the rent or the wages that it's going to pay is death. So, when we choose it, that's what we’re choosing. It doesn't have a right to be here. We just let it squat for free and bring death, which is weird when we think about it in those terms. Weird. So, what are we supposed to do? According to Paul, and I quote Paul “who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God the answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So, you see how it is, in my mind I really want to obey God's law but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.” So, in so many ways, Paul is saying, sin was a perpetual state. Christ came and set us free from the claims, the power of sin. We still can enter into sin any time we want. We can allow it to squat in our lives and bring the destruction that it brings. And it's a constant battle, but we are free from its claims through the Lord Jesus Christ and we do not have to participate. Paul says it like this and its famous “so now, there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus, because you belong to Him the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. The Law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So, God, did what the law could not do, He sent His own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have and in that body God declared an end to sin's control over us by giving His Son as a sacrifice for our sins. He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.” So once again, we circle back to the fact that we are utterly dependent upon God. We can't do this but He has done it. We can choose to enter into sin and suffer the repercussions of it, but it has no claim to us. It can entice us so that we become a slave to it because, as Paul told us, we’re slaves to whatever we obey. But we are under no obligation here to allow this stuff to squat in our lives anymore.
Prayer:
So Holy Spirit, we invite you into that, so often we just we just try to make peace with some of this stuff, we know it's not helpful, we know it's harmful, just kinda always been there, it’s just kinda how things are done and how we cope, how we get along. But You've invited us to raise the bar. We continually ask You to help us grow and to open our eyes. We’re showing up here every day to allow the Scriptures to speak into our lives and so we have determined, at least in some part of our heart, we need to go further and that we need to go deeper and then this needs to matter more in our walk, in our journey through life. And so, You’re gonna continue to go after the big and little things inside of us. And sin, sin leads only one place and it's not at all where we’re going and so there may be squatters in our lives that keep tripping us up and that we keep obeying and enslaving ourselves that just need to be evicted, just permanently evicted. They don't have a right to be here. Help, help us Lord, help us Lord, we are utterly dependent upon You because we can't in our own strength do much of anything. So, come Holy Spirit and help us make moves in the right direction we pray in the name of Jesus we ask. Amen.
Prayers and Encouragements:
Hello Daily Audio Bible family, this is a Treasured Possession. My husbands out mowing the lawn and he’s getting a new job on Monday and my grandkids, I’m no longer watching them and he’s actually gonna go back to work, we’ve all been vaccinated and he’ll be wearing a mask and be safe and stuff. But, for the first time in a while I will be completely alone. And I gotta say I’m kind of scared about it. And so, I’m being outrageously brave cause I don’t normally ask for prayer because if…if you know a heart, a hope deferred makes the heart sick and I’ve experienced a lot of that in my life. So, I’m coming to you and I’m asking for prayer please help me. Please ask God to help me and really strengthen me. So, I don’t go down a weird rabbit hole. So that I can get my own schedule cause Ive been so dependent on his schedule because we’re autistic. And I know you don’t know what that means but it…suffice it to say we’re just wired differently and we work together really well as a unit. But it’s just a bit odd. And I know that…I know I may come across as a bit odd but I’m hoping that as the Spirit in Christ is the same amongst all of us you guys can understand and hear…hear me. But I love you, I listen to you. You basically keep my life smooth. And thank you so much. God Bless you and thank you.
Hello fellow DABers. I want to let you know that I pray for you every day on the prayer line and on the weekend community prayer. Let’s do what God expects of us and leave Him to do His part. All He expects is that we believe He is able to handle all that we’re experiencing. My call today is for Vincent Walking in Love in Connecticut. Vincent the promise Jesus made in John 10:10 abundant life is absolutely true. If this was not the case then Jesus would be a liar and he is not, however, there are conditions we must abide in him. John 15:4 for starters. I gave my life to Christ Jesus while I was a teenager in school and I've continued to walk with him ever since. Now, I'm in my 60s and I've never regretted for one moment, committing to my life to Christ. Someone said when God saves you, He not only save your soul but your life and as I look back I can see how God take care of me even when I made decisions that led me into sinning. I repented and got his forgiveness. God has indeed been gracious to me over the years. I have peace of mind, a family, a career, a good paying job and resources so I can share above all His presence. David said unless I had belief to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, I would've fainted some Psalm 27:13-14. God is faithful and you…He can be trusted to make His abundant life a reality for you. Just get to know Him. Randolph from Toronto.
Good afternoon DAB family today is July 18. Tomorrow marks a year when my sister found me unconscious in her room and I am just so incredibly grateful and that God saw fit that should still be here. That I can celebrate this occasion, this moment with my sister and just look back at what I've overcome and I couldn't be more thankful, grateful now to my sister who was my rock during this whole ordeal. That I had gone through different transfers of hospitals and rehab. Not once did COVID touch me and I had some setbacks but nothing so serious that my life was in danger and I’m just so incredibly thankful. And I just feel so blessed and I had to share this and it seems so inconsequential to just keep saying thank you Lord, thank you but that’s…that’s all I have. And to just say I am just so blessed to have family and friends who prayed for me and who hung in there with my family and just stayed in the fight with us and I’m just so thankful. I just had to say this. Thank you for allowing me to have this forum. Thank you, Brian and I love you DAB family. Take care.
Hi everyone this is Souring on Eagles Wings from Canada on Sunday, July 18th. __ from California you’re battling things in your mind you are doing things you don’t want to do and you want freedom from the strongholds that are seeming to overpower you, your right knee needs healing and your children and grandchildren you’re asking for prayers. I am praying for you and I and I am praying with you. Mike from New York you're also being bombarded with in your mind with feelings of death and I'm taking both of you to the throne of grace this evening. Ephesians 6 verse 11 through 12 says put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the whiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand. So, I am praying for both a you as you wrestle with these things that are wanting to overpower your mind, that our heavenly Father through his Holy Spirit would deliver you from that which is wanting to take you down and you will focus on our Lord Jesus Christ, who has given us some authority to tear down strongholds in his name and I tear down the strongholds over both of you so that you would have freedom to enjoy the life that the Lord has given you and in service to Him. I pray for your children and grandchildren too.
Hello Daily Audio Bible family, I’m Zack and I was gonna call to ask for prayer for guidance for me and my wife. We’ve been through a lot and we’re trying to find, just guidance through a rough patch but I want more so pray for the woman that says she's been shipwrecked. I just want you to know that if anyone understands how you're feeling or going through, it’s the Lord who sees you. It’s the Lord that that hears you. It’s the one that knows you and is acquainted with all of your ways according Psalm 139. And when you talk about that like this place, you’re at it reminds me of Psalm 42 like this pit that you feel like you came from this miry clay that you can’t get out. And one thing I love about…about the Lord is the passage where it says cast your cares on the Lord for, he cares for you. Another translation is cast your anxieties on Him for He cares for you. Many people in this life, ask us how we are doing multiple times a day without really carrying how you're actually doing. But God is the one person you don't have to explain or worry about misunderstanding. He’s the one person that when you actually pour out your heart to, He casts your cares Him, He actually cares for you and how beautiful that is. And I hope that your…I hope you know that God sees you and I pray that God restores you and comes alongside you, and if anything, that you would not feel alone, because I know…I feel like I can relate to you if anything, maybe you can pray for my wife and I where we felt stuck. But if anything, I just pray God responds with his perfect love.

Battling my boss
I have moderate/severe arthritis in my back, knees, and hands. I was also gifted with a bouquet of mental illnesses at birth which prevented me from getting an education past high school. I had kids instead and now find myself at middle age with little education and limited job experience. I found a job when the pandemic started and took it because, well, it’s really hard for me to find jobs. This one is easy peasy. It’s a production line in a place that makes jelly. I work in the labeling department. The work is repetitive but relatively low stress which allows me to focus on writing my novel in my off time.
Here’s the thing - the ad had ‘temporary’ and ‘part time’ in the title, which was a main reason for me applying. I’m acutely aware of my limitations. I wanted part time so I could contribute to the household budget (which is really tight without my input) and so I could force-socialize with other human beings but without having the job eat up the majority of my time.
During my interview, the boss said they do rollbacks in January and choose who to keep on after that. Then he said, “so let’s see if you fit in. Can you start on Monday?”
Well. Let me tell you. As soon as the phrase “fits in” is used, I’m a goner. I don’t fit into places. I’m too abrupt, too contrary, call out too many bosses on their shit, have little respect for authority unless they’ve earned it, and generally find other people irritating if they don’t freaking do their damn jobs. I can be kind too, and humorous, and generous, but it really depends on the crowd around me. I’ve rage-quit many a job in my past. So when I heard that phrase, I figured I had this job until January and I’ll be looking once again after that.
This knowledge that I’d be temporary lifted my spirits. If I’m not going to be there in the new year, who cares if these people like me or not? Just do my job and go home. Collect money for tasks performed. That’s it.
But after three months of full time, yeah-he booked me for five days a week, I discovered I could barely move on the weekends. Now, I’ve taken enough trips around the sun to know that I want my off time to be more than just recovering from work. I want a healthy work/life balance.
So I talked to him and told him I couldn’t do it anymore, that I needed a day off once a week. No, not in the middle of the week because then I don’t recover enough. Three consecutive days off, that’s what I needed. As a bonus, he offered to give me Fridays instead of Mondays off. I loved that. I prefer a Friday off to a Monday.
It was hard, not gonna lie, telling him that I physically can’t do the job. It’s hard admitting to myself that showering is difficult because I can’t bend, or that personal care is hard because I can’t twist. I drop things because my hands get too stiff and I wish for a walker or cane on the days when my knees can barely support me.
Three days off was excellent. I was rested by Monday and able to work four days pretty easily. And I had the energy to write, which is really important.
Then my boss said, “as we get into the busy season you may not get the extra time off.”
Excuse me? How does your increased production make any difference to my inability to perform the tasks? You think that just because it’s busier that I’ll push through? Aw hell no. I would have, fifteen years ago, and I did. Now I have arthritis as a badge for that behaviour. So, Stubborn Me took over. I’m getting three consecutive days off or I won’t be working there.
To be clear, I’m a good employee. I do my job well, I troubleshoot and fix minor issues to save time, I streamline processes to make things efficient, and I encourage those around me to do their damn job. I don’t lollygag, waste time, fuck the dog, or purposely cause issues to stop the production line. I get shit done. I’ve been told, at this job and others, that I’m a key player or kingpin to the operation. So I have a bit of arrogance about my worth. I’m aware of it.
It took four weeks of me calling in sick on Fridays before my boss called me into his office.
Just before that meeting, the newest member of management was ranting about how people call in sick so much at this place, and how she’s never worked anywhere where the employees have such latitude with sick days. I smiled and agreed. There are three employees that call in sick once a week, plus me now. She said management has a huge calendar that they use to track people’s sick days and she can see the pattern. Person 1 calls in one day a week but not the same day two weeks in a row, Person 2 works 42% of shifts scheduled, Person 3 uses lame excuses (like his finger hurt). I smiled inside and wondered if they’ve noticed my pattern of calling in only on Fridays since she didn’t say anything about it.
But even with all these sick days of mine, I’ve noticed two other people had their shifts reduced to part time. One because he’s in school and can only work three days a week, the other because he took another job and can only work five hours a day. So, in my mind, part time is acceptable.
Like I said, my boss called me into his office and we had this little exchange:
Boss: I’ve noticed you call in sick every Friday. Is it your intention to continue doing this? Me: I try every week to work it. I take my medication. I do my physical therapy. But I just can’t do it. Boss: Well, maybe we can give you lighter duties. Me: Except the arthritis is in my hands too. In my finger joints. I can barely use my hands by Friday. It’s not getting better, but working four days has kept me more limber than not working. Boss: *stares off in the distance* So, maybe I should stop scheduling you for Fridays. Me: (thinking) that’s what we agreed on a month ago so yeah. (out loud): If you think that’s best.
I wonder if I’ll have a job there in January.

So we end the year of 2018! So odd that Dec 31 is on a Monday Meeting day, so we’re really just squeaking the meeting in before everybody goes hither and yon to their New Year‘s celebrations.
Amazingly, almost everybody was there, and so I have a few points we discussed before ending this year’s worth of MMN blogs with our Onyx Path crew’s New Year’s Resolutions. Let’s get to it!
In the usual explosion of Kickstarter Updates we sent out last week, I started with a very special one to our Scarred Lands PG backers. The SL Kickstarter had an uphill climb to resolution having to recover from my good old friend Stewart Wieck’s death before the books were shipped.
So it was only fitting, and in my thinking positive, that I could announce to them that the next Scarred Lands project (and Kickstarter) would be the Scarred Lands Creature Collection for 5e and that Onyx Path would be working on the project with Handiwork Games – founded by another buddy, Jon Hodgson.
Jon and his team at Handiwork will be writing, art directing, and laying out the project, as well as running the Kickstarter, and we are thrilled to be able to bring their creative talents and energy honed after many years working for Cubicle7 to what is possibly the signature Scarred Lands book.
For those of you not aware of the history of the first Creature Collection book, it was published in an audacious move just as D&D 3rd Edition released the legendary d20 and OGL licenses. We heard that first they’d be publishing the 3e Players Guide and then later the 3e Monster Manual, and jumped in, wrote, illustrated, and published Creature Collection just before the 3e MM was released.
So, it’s a project near and dear to my heart, and I think that Jon’s crew are going to do amazing and beautiful things with it!
Changeling: The Lost 2e Jumpstart art by Tilen Javornik
Rather than boost more of our mentions in podcasts, or articles, or our Onyx Pathcast, or Kickstarters, I’m going to be pulling all those items down to The Blurbs! below, and for this next year I’ll be aiming at utilizing this space as a way to talk more directly to you about what’s up with Onyx Path.
That was how we got started with it just one day short of 7 years ago, so I’d like to get back there after this last year of reorganization.
And in The Blurbs! below you’ll already find information about our latest Kickstarter, They Came From Beneath the Sea!, which has done a lot better over the Christmas holiday than we expected, and now I’ve added a new section called Onyx Path Media for descriptions and links to the Onyx Pathcast, and other Onyx Path vids, as well as to Actual Plays, etc. from other folks enjoying our worlds.
Roll of Good Dogs and Excellent Cats art by Pat Loboyko
Herein lieth our Onyx Path crew’s New Year’s Resolutions for 2019:
From Mirthful Mike Chaney: “My big one for 2019 is to add more artists to the Ex3 pool and clear the log jam in that line’s production process so we can get 4 titles a year out for Ex3.”
From Monica Valentinelli: “I’m trying something new this year, because resolutions tend to fizzle before the first signs of Spring. For 2019, I’m changing my resolution to a one-word mantra: movement. From shipping manuscripts to rolling dice, there’s a lot of ways I can see this word applying to what we do at Onyx Path. Onwards to 2019!”
From Matthew “The Gentleman Gamer” Dawkins: “My new year’s resolution is to give a little more time to myself in 2019! My video game and reading time was way down in 2018, and I need to amend that in the coming year. Taking advantage of my leisure time rather than spending a lot of it on social media would go a long way toward making a more satisfied Matthew.”
From Dangerous Dixie Cochran: “In 2019, I want to, as Neil Gaiman said, “make good art.” More than that, I want to encourage others to make art, whether good or no. (Funny story, making bad art is the first step on the road to making good art.) I’ve always joked that I’m a support class in real life: I edit what others write, I help folks with problems, and I enjoy building people up and helping their voices be heard. I want to do more of that in the coming year. I want to work on helping people who are underrepresented into spotlights, and continue to showcase the current slate of amazing talent we have now. I want to work with amazing creators to figure out how to best polish their work, not just for them. I want to work on dozens of new and interesting and phenomenal books, and I want to see creatives in our field (and others) shine that maybe haven’t had the opportunity before.
I also want to meet more of you, the folks who keep us going. If you have live streams or events or podcasts, I want to hear about them! I also hope you come to the conventions we attend and say hello! Essentially, I want 2019 to be about community and coming together for the betterment of all parties involved. Happy New Year!”
From LisaT: “I’m going to try to establish a more permanent workspace in order to facilitate keeping better track of my broadening work responsibilities. And to establish some new skills in Excel and other programs to improve bookkeeping.”
From Jaunty James Bell, our Kickstarter Concierge: “2018 had a lot of transition for me – health challenges for my parents and new activities (and jobs!) for my children redefined my role as a son and father, keeping me busy. In 2019, I’m going to try to help family and friends as best I can, avoid the anger and despair from social media as much as possible, fall in love with each new kickstarter project, be organized, communicate clearly, and play more games!”
From Impish Ian Watson: “For 2019, I’d like to take more time to play games, and do some recreational reading. I enjoy both, but lately I’ve been spending my spare time on YouTube or whatever and not enough time with novels or game books.”
From Fast Eddy Webb: “In 2019, I resolve to make a second creator-owned property. It may not see the light of day in 2019, but I’d like to be in a place where I can start designing by the end of the year.”
From Mighty Matt McElroy: Well, Matt didn’t get me his resolution as he’s on a well-deserved and oft-postponed vacation (I hope!). So we won’t bother him, but I’ll give him an easy one based on past years’: “I’m going to drink all the coffee, and work crazy hours, and do seventeen person’s jobs.”
From RichT: “Gonna do more hands-on art and just be more hands-on with our projects this coming year. I participated in Inktober, and doing a piece of illustration a day was a marathon, but also was a joy that reconnected me to my art-creating roots.”
Happy New Year as we move into our eighth year as a company! Thanks to you all for your support in 2018 (and earlier) and talk to you next year all about our:
Many Worlds, One Path!
BLURBS!
KICKSTARTER:
They Came From Beneath the Sea! (TCFBtS!) funded on Kickstarter in less than 48 hours and we’ve passed through the first couple of Stretch Goals of getting Larry Blamire to illustrate a horizontal scene usable on a screen, the beginning of a book of additional Threats, and we are rising up on the next goal!
TCFBtS! has some very different additions to the Storypath mechanics we’ll be explaining during the KS that take an excellent 50’s action and investigation genre game and turn it to 11! You can see the actual play here:
Check out the teaser:https://youtu.be/kxLydk4t76s
Hope to see you there back in the 50’s, fighting watery menaces and cracking wise!

NTEB PROPHECY NEWS PODCAST: COVID-19 Has Absolutely Impacted And Changed The Entire World, It Is A Biblical Pestilence From Matthew 24?
The headlines today are screaming at us, telling us to wake up and look around, to open our King James Bibles and connect the dots of what is truly happening. COVID-19 is not a pestilence like AIDS, Ebola, SARS, MERS chicken pox, scarlet fever or anything else, it is the Pestilence that has changed the world.
As I write this we are approximately 38 days here in America into the nation-wide COVID-19 shut down of the US economy, and a suspension of our freedoms and liberties the likes of which has heretofore never been seen since our founding in 1776. Globally, every major nation on earth is undergoing similar measures. There can be no question that the world is being shaken to its core, the only question is why, and why now?
“For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.” Haggai 2:6-8 (KJB)
On this episode of the NTEB Prophecy News Podcast, we are looking into the ‘beginning of sorrows’ in Matthew 24, with some of the only verses in the entire chapter that can be rightly divided and applied to the Church Age, and examine the COVID-19 phenomenon in light of the prophesied ‘pestilences’ that Jesus said would precede the time of Jacob’s trouble. Our time, in the days before the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church.

Your Generous Donations Make These Live King James Radio Bible Studies Possible!
On our Sunday and Wednesday night radio bible study, we are preaching and teaching the gospel of the grace of God, rightly divided and dispensationally correct, to a truly global audience who is hungry for the word. These programs would not be possible without your generous support. Listen to just a few of the recent comments we have gotten:
“The sole purpose of this email to you is to let you know how much we have been blessed by your amazing ministry/website. ‘We’ is my wife and I, in our early forties, 3 kids, professing, churchgoing, bible believing Christians in The Netherlands.  Since two months, I listen to your bible studies on Sunday evening, and since this week also to your prophecy podcast. I listen to them in the archives, because of the 6 hour time difference. The shofar and the blessing at 0:30 into the study never fails to make tears in my eyes. We are praying for you, we are praying for your voice, that it lasts in these incredible busy times for you. Listening to your podcasts, you seem to do it effortlessly, talking, scanning the chatbox for questions, diving into the texts, from Genesis to Revelation and everything in between, I love it when you realize after 1:30h into the study, actually a lot more subjects need to be addressed! Thank you for all your work and effort, you are doing an amazing job. Although it all seems effortlessly, I know it is not…Our faith is strengthened by your work and we are able to testify in a better way to the people around us!” Wouter D. van der Wiel
“Wanted to send you encouragement and thank you for all you are doing!! I’ve been reading from this website for about 5 years and I’ve been on this at least 10 times a day. It’s the most honest prophecy website in history. And you have ministered to me greatly. This lockdown has been amazing as God gets us unto himself and smooths out the paths for us. I was reading devotional from Kenneth Copeland and during that time you had really hit That ministries hard. I was not Word Faith but I was feeding off his teaching. During this time I have removed Kenneth Copeland I wanted to thank you for your exposure of his ministry. Holy Spirit is truly the leader of all truths. The bible study on Bill Gates was tremendous. And I had the same check in my spirit as you did. He’s the guy that gonna lead this one world revolution Amazing times we live in. I’m super excited and living in total victory and peace. Once again thank you for the time you put in your reward in heaven will truly be great. Looking forward to this coming week. My prayer tonight is this …Father send Your Son!! DG
“Thank you oh so much for sound teaching. I am so thankful and blessed for clicking on your channel. I have been on your Facebook page since 2011 and never subscribed to you-tube channel until today. I loved the live recording of singing, what a delight to hear the joy of the Lord in the voices of the congregation. So wonderful to hear the part about Luke 12:36, that has made my eyebrows furrow when I read and therefore I have always steadfast to not leaning on my own understanding. May God continue to bless you, your family friends and loved ones. All Glory be to Jesus, my Saviour Redeemer and King, Amen.” Susan Anderson
“Loved this teaching! Presented in a clear contextual manner that was easy to follow along. You connected the dots for me that had previously brought so much confusion, namely the 4th seal covenant, the 5th seal tribulation saints, and the 6th seal 2nd Coming of Christ AFTER the wedding of the Body/Bride of Christ IN HEAVEN. Wow, after 41 years since my being born again by the Holy Spirit in to the Body of Christ, I finally have the answers to end the confusion. What joy and peace has flooded my heart! Thank you for this encouraging teaching of the Word.” SB
“I am from Sri Lanka and listen to the radio Bible study every week.” Nihal Perera
Nothing thrills my soul like teaching the word of God, it is what the Lord called me to do 29 years ago, and Now The End Begins is the vehicle in which I am able to do it. How exciting it is to be able to teach the Bible to tens of thousands of people per year. Like I told you with the first post of 2020, I have dedicated myself now full-time to NTEB, and it is only through your generous support that such a thing is possible.

Listen to what our donation angels have to say about the ministry of Now The End Begins
“Hey NTEB, just wanted to say thank you for the radio show, I am loving it every single one of them. Right now I’m studying the rightly dividing the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God. God saved me from a horrible pit and the Holy Spirit lead me to Pastor Charles Lawson many years ago, and now at NTEB. Can’t be more blessed than that.Thank you, Thank you, Thank you……….Jesus. Till He comes…Blessings and Prayers on you.” Alda Kajana
I just want to thank you for the teachings you give every Sunday night on radio.  You are such a blessing to me. I absolutely love your way of teaching the scriptures.  I don’t have a church where I can have fellowship and teaching, so you have been my teacher for many months now. Thanks God you are there for all of us who have no church to go to.  I pray that the Lord will bless you abundantly in your ministry, and your loved ones too.  You are such a blessing to me, and many others, in these last days before the rapture.  Thank you so much Geoffrey, from the bottom of my heart. May the Lord keep you, until He comes back for us. You are in my prayers.” Donald Godin
“Thank you for the work  you are doing brother.  Your page and your testimony were a blessing to me this morning as I came across it for the first time.  Thank you for the reality of your testimony and what God has done for you in introducing you to Jesus our Lord.  God has brought me, in salvation, to Himself as well, through His love and mercy and grace in salvation.  How can we praise Him enough?  How can we not share this good news!?  I pray this day for God’s blessing on your ministry that He may save many souls through the work He has called you to.  Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)” Mark and Melissa
“Love the Sunday night bible study. I want to support someone who has the passion for the lost like Geoffrey does and rightly divides the word of God. God bless you.” Teresa Carey
“I give because not many news outlets are brave enough or Godly enough to tell these stories from a Christian’s point of view. I see stories here that will not be seen anywhere else.” William Grayshaw
“It’s hard to find solid biblical teaching in America these days. It’s a blessing to be able to take part in a ministry financially without being concerned about false teaching. All glory to God! God bless!” Maximilian Swan
“I donate because you are reporting the truth about the increasing wickedness of our time, as God’s word foretold. In so doing we are reminded to “Keep looking up” as we wait in joyful hope for the Lord’s coming, Maranatha! ” Anthony Sloane
“Geoffrey has the best End Times News out there. I have been receiving his emails for years now and always enjoy his Sunday night messages although I don’t always think exactly as he thinks. We are all in this “boat of life” together and as I come to the end of my life’s journey here, I am more aware of Jesus’s call for us to be one as He and the Father are One.” Deborah Cleaveland
“I believe in Christ Jesus, my LORD and Savior. I see Mt 24 “ The Days of NOAH “. Happening before our eyes. I think from all the signs, turmoil, godlessness, the Rapture Is at hand.1 Thes 4:16–18. WARN SOMEONE TODAY.” Dwight Shotwell
” I like the way you are promoting the scriptures of the Kingdom Message Baptism of Jesus Christ, as those of Paul in Acts 20: 27-31 Preachers don’t D this !! they make up their own IDEAS and then claim the person has Holy Spirit, WHEN THEY HAVE NOT not ever will !!!! …bye now…” Bara Rodgers

STREET-TESTED NTEB GOSPEL TRACTS:
This is the official gospel tract of NTEB, used here on the streets of Saint Augustine and sent around the world as they are purchased through our website. We ask you to prayerfully consider supporting the work of Now The End Begins by purchasing a box of these full-color, high-quality gospel tracts. Thank you in advance!

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 12,882 people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 151,781 followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 14.000 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.
“Thank you very much!” – Geoffrey, editor-in-chief, NTEB
“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13 (KJV)

What is your character’s full name?:
Theresa Renee Raven
The name “Theresa” is a feminine named used by the English, German, Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish.History: From the Spanish and Portuguese name Teresa. It was first recorded as Therasia, being borne by the Spanish wife of Saint Paulinus of Nola in the 4th century. The meaning is uncertain, but it could be derived from Greek θερος (theros) “summer”, from Greek θεριζω (therizo) “to harvest”, or from the name of the Greek island of Therasia (the western island of Santorini).The name was mainly confined to Spain and Portugal during the Middle Ages. After the 16th century it was spread to other parts of the Christian world, due to the fame of the Spanish nun and reformer Saint Teresa of Ávila. Another famous bearer was the Austrian Habsburg queen Maria Theresa (1717-1780), who inherited the domains of her father, the Holy Roman Emperor Charles VI, beginning the War of the Austrian Succession. {source: http://www.behindthename.com/name/theresa }

MISCELLANEOUS (SHOULD BE WRITTEN IN CHARACTER):
Favorite genre of music:
This is such a tough question to answer, because I will literally listen to anything. I have favorite country songs, rap songs, even horror-core songs. But if I had to pick a specific genre, it’d probably be a toss up between Rock or what is known as “emo”. OH! and show tunes! Can’t forget about those!
Favorite dish:
Again this is a tough one, because I love food so much. But if I had to choose one thing to eat for the rest of my life, I’d probably go with pizza since I can change up the different types of pizza and have a variety.
Favorite animal:
Seahorses and Sea turtles

If they made a movie about your character’s life, what would the title be?:
“How is a Raven like a Writing Desk?”
Food or sex:

Their life’s theme song:

Overall: Faith Hill - “Wild One”
Favorite day of the week and why?:

What came first, the chicken or the egg?:
The chicken…because of Noah’s arc, who laid more eggs, to give us more chickens?
Do you prefer hot or cold weather and why?:
Hot. I hate when the air hurts my face.
Describe your first crush:
He was a shy, dorky theater geek, like me who had a voice that everyone envied. He was taller than me (who isn’t), and had dark hair, blue eyes, and thick Drew Carey like glasses. He would often be cast as the star in all of our high-school productions. Although he had many talents, he was the nicest guy you could ever encounter. It helped that I had a crush on him when we were in productions together, because the chemistry didn’t need to be faked out, but nothing became of that crush because my dad told me that I couldn’t date until “after I was married.” His name was William.
Your house is on fire. What are the first three things you grab?:
Phone, purse, and military flag from my father’s death
