Propaganda
Omar Sharif (Funny Girl, Lawrence of Arabia)—no propaganda submitted
Tony Curtis (Some Like It Hot, The Great Race)—he always has kind of a catty camp quality to any role he shows up in, like the eyeliner is always on so thick even though he's playing a straight man type role. (this also doesn't add to his hot factor but he's also jamie lee curtis's dad!)
This is round 1 of the bracket. All other polls in this bracket can be found here. Please reblog with further support of your beloved hot sexy vintage man.

Can you comment on the way you perceived gay actors as being treated back then? Rock Hudson comes to mind as an example.
Tony Curtis: Rock and I were the best of friends, we were always together at the studio. [Not being out] had a very profound effect on Rock. He was the most giving and gentle man I've ever known and wanted nothing more than to be left alone.
Did Rock ever hit on you?
Tony Curtis: Well, yeah. We did a picture together. I knew him for a long time. But you know, he was so big, he didn’t want to fool with a little kid like me.
