MAN THE MUSICAL NUMBERS CAUGHT ME SO OFF GUARD I HAD TO PAUSE AND STARE FROWNING okok!!! so the thing was that one time agessss ago you said liking ml fanfics is just wanting to read the same story over and over again and after that textbook 2016 post reveal final kiss that sentence just flashed in my mind and everything that happened in the movie (the ladynoir patrol fighting in the rooftops, the adrien snapping at his dad, gabriel being actually decent) just shifted in context for me and the realization of how fanfic coded the movie is and how that directly related to my enjoyment was so clear i couldnt stop laughing hdhshsjs

i remember saying that and its STILL TRUE!! And honestly you're putting it in perspective for me, thats why i liked the things i liked about the movie. like the ladynoir patrol fighting on the roofs also did lowkey make my dreams come true they could have done whatever they wanted in the rest of the movie, that scene is what i live for.

And that last scene really did feel like it was out of a fanfic, A 2016 FANFIC, its OLD FANDOM VIBES. back when we were still chewing up the concept of a reveal and not picking apart the bones of adrien's identity like mad scientists.

I remember thinking im sure ive read this scene somewhere. idk where but i have. all of it in different pieces a million times.

I think my least favorite thing on the internet is how quick people are to call characters toxic just because they don't like them.

#not me finally giving in and googling spoilers so i can just get my head on right about these books #honestly i'm putting these books down for a while lol i need some emotional space before i'm ready to keep going #but yeah so many people are like 'this character is so toxic' when they're just mad that it took them a long time to fix their shit #like you expect someone who has basically been indoctrinated into a system to immediately learn all the lessons #and to like... #happy easter clanker #for the past three days ive just been playing banjo kazooie for fun #ended originally with a time of 8:22:12 #but that changed when i wanted to try getting the stop n swop stuff for the first time on my copy of banjo #so the final time is 9:32:33 #i forgot how much i disliked rusty bucket bay. good lord that engine room and stinky bad water #every other level was fine. though i got so confused at first as to what jiggy i was missing in click clock woods #it was just the one on the branch at the very top of the tree. i wouldve never found it had i not looked it up #notes and honeycombs though? did those purely from memory #jiggies too i guess minus the single 1 out of 100 #which i think is better than what i was hoping to achieve playing without a guide #i didnt get all mumbo tokens though. i DID get the ones you could easily lose if done wrong though.#i need 7 more mumbo tokens basically to reach 100%#i was also very tempted to 100% gruntys furnace fun (i.e. all squares) but. at a point i was like ''hm. no lets not''#maybe someday. just not then.#i managed to blind guess a lot of grunty questions though #only talked to her sister like. once. and i didnt get any of those questions on the quiz #oh yknow whats fucked up? that one shortcut between rusty bucket bay and mad monster mansions puzzle #you cant break the gate for it if you raise the water level too high #also it took me until today to learn that CheatO's cheats are upgrades and not... cheats #fucked up. but i didnt have too much problems without it. <- he died to grunty once only cause he got knocked off the tower #anyway sorry for the strange photo quality. played on my n64 on an old crt ive had. and i only have a lamp on in my room.#its not as dark as it looks in the image atleast #i also learned that banjo kazooie has way more cheats than i ever knew about #before collecting all the stop n swop stuff. i gave myself the infinite air underwater cheat cause. god.#its so nice to swim around with any anxiety. mostly just used it to swim with clanker for a bit. :).#didnt need it for any other reasons. i done collected everything else girlies #though kid me used a lot of cheat codes in tooie. only because i had a magazine that had all the codes #i 100%'d that one a few years ago i think. jiggies atleast. i think.#anyway. :) clanker

In fourth grade my class had a unit where we learned all about ships and sailing and sea shanties and then spent a day/overnight on a retired ship. We were split into different roles. I was in the galley team. Which was fun. But in retrospect I was probably put there because I was one of the quieter less athletic kids. BUT ALSO. I didn't get to see anything other than the main deck and I'm so pissed about it still!!!! My classmates got to mess with the ropes and tie knots and see the ship. I got to go down one flight of stairs for the historic tour section but nothing else!!!! Didn't get to stand under any of the other masts or see any cool views or go on any of the other decks I'm o|< little me missed out I would've loved to see more. They should have made sure all the kids got to experience more. They had us take night watch shifts of like half an hour, so like, we each were woken up separately and went and stood out in the cold and were given a journal to write in. I did like that part.
